Best Electricians in San Diego, CA

This is the third time I have used Premo Electric.  Each time I've had a great experience.  In the past they installed recessed lights in the master bedroom, a space heater in the living room, and, today, recessed lights in the second bedroom. Richard and Pete, the electricians, worked quickly and were punctual, tidy, professional and friendly. I am very satisfied with the work.

I had a bathroom ventilator/heater installed by Lee Electric at a rental place. Although I haven't met Devren, owner of the company, I trusted the guy based on how he responded to my request for a quote; well detailed and directly to what I needed to know. He was on time and professional in how he communicated via emails and text messages. His quote was reasonable and he did a good job with the installation. I would use his service again.

So sad that we were that couple who tried to save a dollar and ended up making the situation worse. I had lost power to our bedrooms and hired a handyman to repair the issue but only made it worse! Luckily we found SRP and Anthony was the electrician we got. Anthony found the problem within minutes and even re did what the handyman had done wrong. Our lights were back up running in no time. Anthony was very knowledgeable and polite! He even had a vacuum and left the area clean!
Definitely chose SRP! Thank you SRP and team. :]

I had to get my ceiling fans replaced. Mike from Service Pro did a fantastic job installing and troubleshooting those quirky fans. He communicated well and finished the job quickly. I'll be calling Mike next time I need electrical work done at my place!

Hired Leo on Yelp to replace two tandem fuses in my fuse box. One of which was for the dishwasher, because it was crackling and would shut off under load.

He had trouble sourcing the correct  ones (old Murray) so he modified two off brands to fit, by cutting a notch in them. He was very confident that they will be fine.

They seem to be working great!
I recommend him. He is very responsive and with reasonable prices.

I requested a quote to wire a hot tub and disconnect, Jesus came out and let me know an estimate for the labor + materials.  He came the next day to do the work and he finished it quickly and efficiently.  He pulled some new wire, added conduit, a new disconnect box, and did the connections all in the span of a few hours.  I will definitely be recommending him to anybody who needs an electrician.

Stellar, clever, and awesome!! Mark from H&H Lighting is amazing!!! I've owned a number of houses in multiple states and Mark is by far THE best electrician I have ever seen -- and I really put him to the test with my 'project' ... or what someone might call a very long electrical list. After calling 6-8 electricians -- all were intimidated by the volume of my project as well as the things on it (especially an old security system). When I called, Mark was courteous and arranged for a time to come out to take a look at my many things. We had moved into a home that hadn't had any electrical updates since the 1990s -- so it needed a lot (~20) of new recessed lights, trim replacements of old recessed lights, fixing weird electrical 'stuff' people had done over the years, hanging updated chandeliers in very very tall places with stairs, new fans, adding dimmers, etc. The list goes on. We had a few weird issues to contend with -- and Mark came up with some clever solutions. Mark made some recommendations on lighting too because he has a great design eye for lighting (many electricians don't know lighting placement). It makes a HUGE difference to have an electrician who knows lighting (hence the business name of lighting and electrical). The next week (giving me time to order my chandeliers and fans) Mark began work. When he said that it would take 4 days -- I thought -- that sounds right for a team. He does all of the work himself -- so that he knows every single bit of electrical -- and he is faster than a team of electricians. Mark did such a quality job -- no clipping corners. And -- to top it all off, Mark is a great person.

After pouring through several Yelp reviews and selecting those that are close to where I live given gas prices, I selected Rory to do the work.  It is so hard to find a reliable electrician and I am so glad I chose him.  Rory came in to fix an outdoor light that was going on and off as well as help me label my electrical panel correctly.  He is low key and is very knowledgeable.  He fixed my light without much fuss and we both worked on the panel.  It is such a relief to have it finally labeled right.  Previous contractors who I hired before I moved in labeled things in a haphazard fashion that was no good to anyone.  I would definitely recommend Rory if you need any electrical work done!  I will definitely work with him again when I redo my lights and fans.

This is the electrician you have been looking for! Professional, personable, and a keen eye for detail. Hired Frank to install a new sub panel, edit & replace old wires, install new outlets as well as outdoor light fixtures. I'm also dry walling my garage so he moved all wires so it can be drywalled over. I'm very happy with his work. Electrical work is one of those areas I need a peace of mind with considering it's a potential fire hazard. I have absolute faith in Frank's skill and dedication to the craft. You will be in good hands!

Absolutely the best electric company I have ever worked with ! Completely professional. Not only did they finish fast, but they also made sure nothing in the property was damaged. The team at McWay Electric did a great job hanging my lightfixtures on our sloped ceiling. They were affordable, responsive and had a great attitude even when they had to come back due to me ordering the wrong kind of fixture the first time. The electrician who came out could not have been more polite and mindful of us and our needs. Really nice guys! I highly recommend them!

Back in March we had a flood thanks to an upstairs neighbor.  IW has been great through the entire process.  Since the ceiling was gone we wanted to change our outdated box light kitchen fixture into recessed lighting.  We also wanted an outlet added over our new countertops.  All of the work happened in stages around the other trades, roughing out and wiring up for framing, then setting up for the drywall, then installing the lights, etc.  We had a couple of crews through the time, but they have ALL been great guys to work with!  The staff is professional, respectful, quick, and they try to help you stay within your budget.  IW is the real deal, stop looking and save yourself time and money.  THANKS GUYS!!!

We recently changed out some bulbs in our kitchen to recessed lighting LED's and a new LED lamp in our closet. What we had in our kitchen was more of an old school, florescent bulb. Kevin made it clear LED was the way to go and was very clear and up front about what charges would be. Jose jammed through the work in light speed and took care of everything in a few hours. Not only that, the work performed gave a very clean, updated look to the kitchen. Glad we came in contact with Kev Co and will certainly be reaching out to Kevin on any future projects! I never write negative reviews but you guys deserve this one.  My carpenters accidentally broke a fresh water valve under my kitchen sink.  Water was spraying all over my kitchen floor.  So I turned off the main water valve in the garage.  I called my friends at PLE&P to come over and replace a couple of water valves.  Your guy quoted $2700.  Twenty Seven Hundred F'in Dollars to do a $100 job.  I bargained him down to $300 but he had to ask his boss for approval.  What a ripoff.  To make matters worse, one of the new valves was leaking the next day.  You guys wanted more money to fix it.  I warned my 95 yr old mother to be careful of plumbers like PLE&P. I'll never call PLE&P to help me with any of my properties again.

Luke is great - he fixed multiple electrical problems with my house, finding creative (but still fully code-compliant) solutions. He listens, doesn't try to upsell you, and is very easy to work with. Highly recommended!

James came over to fix a power issue in our bathroom, and in the process found a unknown breaker box within the bathroom wall that was sparking!!!! He fixed the breaker box, power, and even drywall installation all for a very reasonable price. (And kept our house from catching fire - Yikes!) Can't recommend enough!

Roddy responded to my Yelp request for quotes.  His price was reasonable.  He was very responsive, kept in touch while I was getting my fan, very punctual on the day of the install.  Very honest no drama solid professional.  Will definitely use his service again when there's a need.

Had an emergency issue over the weekend  and got an immediate response and help. Highly recommend.
