Best Electricians in San Diego, CA

Good electricians, but way too expensive , absolutely not worth it. How could it take 1 1/2 hours to figure out that my photocell sensor ( sensor that detects when it's dark and automatically turn on all lights connected to that circuit) is busted. If you could do it yourself then just do it.

This is an amendment to the earlier review I gave. The service made a very generous offer not to charge anything for the good job done because of miscommunication about their billing rates. They did a very nice job installing the light fixture and I offered to pay what I thought was reasonable fee for the work done. I am sure there would be other people like me who would choose their service based on the good ratings they have and the number of people who gave good reviews.

Excellent and highly knowledgeable professionals that completed the repair of a circuit to an outdoor spa, and also a pair of outlets serving the exterior of the house.  Follow up to our request was prompt, with status updated on part acquisition via text, and site visit set up very quickly.  Highly recommend this firm and its excellent professional!

Thanksgiving Day emergency and the only company that we found willing to respond that morning was SRP Electric.  Supervisor Anthony came and saved the day and the turkey.  He identified a major electrical problem in our older home. We decided to redo the entire electoral wiring from aluminum to copper.  As you probably suspect, it was a big job and the work took ten days but was priced reasonably for what was done.  Anthony, Edward and Danny were the skilled electricians who worked on this job and we appreciate their craftsmanship.  Thank you Steven R Peña and three amigos.  Our dog Lucky enjoyed watching the work being done.

Mike has been amazing with communication and the job he did with his co-worker. He installed a EV charging unit.  He was very professional from the start until the job was completed. He was upfront with the cost and came through without trying to add any additional work. Couldn't have been more pleased. I highly recommend Mike and his company. Hired Leo on Yelp to replace two tandem fuses in my fuse box. One of which was for the dishwasher, because it was crackling and would shut off under load.

He had trouble sourcing the correct  ones (old Murray) so he modified two off brands to fit, by cutting a notch in them. He was very confident that they will be fine.

They seem to be working great!
I recommend him. He is very responsive and with reasonable prices.

I cannot recommend Jesus from United Electric enough! He recently installed new lighting fixtures in my home, and his work was genuinely fantastic. Jesus and his assistant Antonio took care of everything from the electrical work to the cleanup. Jesus was highly professional, providing multiple ways of payment, and he was always communicative throughout the process. His expertise and attention to detail were evident in the flawless installation of the three flush mount lights, dimmers, and chandelier. After having just bought a place, my wife and I wanted to move in as soon as possible, and wanted to get recessed lights installed prior to moving in furniture. H&H was wonderful to work with, and was able to accommodate the narrow time window we had. The LED lights they installed look great, and we'd have no qualms calling them again for future work.

Rory does a good job, I call him when ever I have problem.  I have used him many times.  he is fair and honest

I can't say enough great things about Frank Electric.  Frank is responsive, professional, and an excellent electrician. I needed a ceiling fixture installed, and it was done in a matter of 20 minutes. The light looks amazing, and, he was able to put it on a dimmer. I have already recommended him to all of my family members, and have his number saved because I will be using him for all of my future electric work.  Thank you, thank you, FRANK!

WOW.  They are my go to electricians (in fact we are still completing a project in March).
They are responsive, professional, fast, communicative, reliable and TRUSTWORTHY.  I don't know any better adjectives to describe,  
We have a major emergency; 2 days before x-mas my kitchen power went out,  we knew this was bad. He couldn't fix anything then; (old house issues!) but gave me a fair and great price to upgrade the wire in the kitchen and upgrade our panel (which we had been planning on doing with another company- but Romo was so patient with me we went with them- that's the upcoming project!)
They came, did a beautiful job, extremely fast, and again professional. It looks great and I can't wait to get our panel upgraded with them.

Let me start by saying I don't write reviews..but I couldn't help but want to recommend Primo's electrical service. Jose was extremely professional and did a fantastic job! He was persistent when the issue was very hard to diagnose. He is highly skilled and provided a great solution that not only fixed my outlet but also added additional safety measures. Jose worked hard AND efficiently for every hour I paid him. He's a total champ!!! I would definitely recommend Primo's electrical service!!!!

Interwest showed up within 90 minutes of me contacting them. José was polite, friendly and immediately got to diagnosing the problem of why our lights were flickering. About 19 minutes later, service was completed and he recommended I do a few other things that could alleviate the problem. Thanks for the fast service.

After putting a bid out through Yelp to multiple electricians for a new plug install for an EV charger, Kevin was the first to respond, offered the most competitive price, and didn't attempt to upsell me--unlike another person who was attempting to convince me that I needed serious electrical work and an entirely new circuit. Kevin was also able to get someone out to me within 48 hours, which was great. I did not catch the electrician's name who came to do the plug install, but he was friendly, quick, and professional. I will definitely call Kevin again for any other electrical work I may need to be done.

I contacted Point Loma electric to give me a quote for hot tub electrical setup. It has been more than weeks since they came out to look over the site and I have not gotten a quote. I have contacted them three times to get the quote as well as calling to ensure a technician was coming after I scheduled online. The customer service is non existent and I can't rate the work since I cannot select them to do it. I gave two stars for the very informative electrician that came out. He was able to answer all my questions and gave me good advice on my setup.

Luke was very responsive and flexible. Job involved wiring and installing several ceiling fans, sconces, can lights, a chandelier, and garage lighting, plus redoing an outdoor GFCI outlet. They were efficient and completed the job well with the estimated time. It was a pleasure having him do our stuff!

James and Kyle were amazing!  Wow, I was blown away at how much they were able to accomplish for me in my limited time window. And they came out to my place so quickly for me!  

***They wore masks the whole time, wore shoe covers on my carpet, and were kind to my little kids.  Bravo .  Their work was clean, too.

One of my electrical outlets blew out/stopped working over the weekend (the one I use while working from home, of course) and the circuit breaker kept flipping off, loud buzzing noise, etc.   I am a single female and know nothing about electrical issues.

I found James' name and number on my Next-door app.  He had high recommendations and I am all about the reviews!  I called him in the morning.  He answered immediately.  And he graciously fit me in a couple hours later.  

He was super friendly.  Came in, got the job done quickly and with minimal disruption, even though I was on a work call!  Easy to work with.  I highly recommend James for your electrical needs!
