I called in and sent an online request for help when my kitchen outlets stopped working. Richard gave me a call within two hours and was able to help me over the phone with zero issues. I was given stellar advice for any future problems, and I'd happily recommend their services to anyone!

Anthony Garcia is the right person for the job. A professional with common sense; he has the knowledge and is happy to explain method and process with ease of understanding. A polite demeanor, a thoughtful and safe service provider, he will get the job done the right way the first time. We will hire him for all electrical work for our home and you should too. Excellent job Anthony!

Mike arrived on time and got to work right away. He was very knowledgeable and was done installing the Nema 14-50 outlet in less than an hour. He has great customer service and answers questions without missing a beat. I can now charge my EV at home and I am a happy camper. Thanks Mike! You are now my go-to for anything electrical!

Leo saved the day and possibly lives. Not hyperbole. My new tenants reported seeing black streaks around an outlet. They smelled burning when they plugged in an outlet strip. I submitted a project on Thumbtack and Leo -- on a Sunday night -- got back to me quickly with a fair estimate. He setup an appointment with my tenant for the next day.
He fixed the issue and texted me before and after pictures and explained the problem. Aluminum and copper wires were twisted together. I'm a layperson and I know that's dangerous.
This electrical stuff is no joke. Especially with these older buildings. (This one was built in 1974.) Do not hesitate; call an electrician ASAP.
I also had a loose outlet that he re-anchored with the proper screws.
See before and after pictures.
(By the way, another popular electrician, who saw the picture I sent of the outlet with the black streaks, got back to me the next day and said he could come by and give a quote 3 weeks from now!)
If you have an electrical issue or just want to add outlets, lighting, etc. hire Leo. He will be my first call if I have an issue in the future.

I was looking for an electrician to help install a barber pole in my barber shop. I happened to find Jesus and he kindly helped with the install. He asked all the right questions for how I wanted it installed and he began his work with a colleague of his. They were efficient and very quality driven. The barber pole came out perfect and is very sturdy. I would highly recommend Jesus and United to anyone looking for quality electrical work.

I would highly recommend Mark at H&H Lighting for any electrical or lighting needs. Mark provided top notch service. I needed some outdoor electrical repairs as well as the installation of some new outdoor lights in my front and backyard. Mark gave me some great recommendations and has my front and back yard looking great at night now. Mark even came back to my house to change out some lights outside that I felt were too bright and added an additional light in my front yard at my request He made a 3rd trip out to my house to make these changes, and did it all without any additional charge. Mark is very knowledgeable, thorough and friendly. I will definitely be calling H&H again for any future electrical or lighting needs.

We found Rory on Yelp and called him based on all the great reviews. He did not disappoint! He did a great job helping us relocate some outlets in our kitchen. He was knowledgeable and gave us some ideas for future projects. We have already given his contact info to friends and would not hesitate to contact him for future needs.

Recently, my company had the lighting in several displays begin to strobe and/or go out right before a big event. Frank was able to stop by on short notice and quickly get them fixed. He has been our electrician for several years now and always does great work. I would definitely recommend him for any electrical work that you need done.

I had an overloaded circuit and called Emergency Response Electric because they had the best reviews on yelp, and it's clear to see why. They came out right away, diagnosed my issue and provided me options to consider. Romo, the owner, gave clear explanations on the different options and the benefits of each. Ultimately, I chose to recondition my entire electrical panel and add additional circuits to relieve the overloading issue. Romo's team showed up on time and finished well ahead of schedule. They were respectful of my place and did an amazing job. Highly recommend Emergency Response Electric for any electrical job, small or large.

Jose arrived on time and was respectful, professional and kept me updated every step. I had a small space heater that blew and caused my workout room and hallway lights to not work. After my handyman replaced the breaker it was recommended that i call and electrician. The cost was what he advertised and i would use him again and highly recommend to anyone looking for electrical work.

I have long neglected to write my review, but that in no way reflects my thoughts and feelings regarding McWay Electric. He is the most polite, respectful gentleman. He shows up on time and fully prepared for the job. He is talented, and figured a way to install a ceiling fan where I had been told one couldn't be installed. Chris has done several projects for me, and he is such a nice person, I almost wish I had more work for him to do. He really is that good.

Just had another great job completed on the wiring in our house by Interwest. Jose essentially rewired our 1950's garage. It's so nice to have all the light switches and plugs work - not to mention the piece of mind knowing the wiring is now safe. Had an unrelated issue yesterday evening, and left a message to call me in the morning. But, actually, Jose called me on the way home, and stopped by yesterday after 5pm to see if he could solve it. Unfortunately, it was more than he could handle himself. So, he and Dean revised his schedule so the could come first thing this morning to take care of it - which he has. Thanks again, Dean and Jose for such great service.

Kevin is the man. I just called because my breaker went bad. He was so cool he told me exactly what to do to fix it, meanwhile all the other places were charging me 120-200 to come one just to see the problem. I will definitely do business with him in the future

I WAS IN SHOCK!!!
I had a relatively small electrical job requiring the installation of two new sconces and the replacement of two existing ones, replacing an existing wall dimmer and mounting a separate wireless dimmer on a wall. Using wiremold, the ENTIRE in-wall wiring would total about 12 and right above existing dimmer switch! My common sense estimate was that it would probably take two or three hours.
The good - Point Loma Electric was very responsive and the man who arrived to give me the estimate was professional. Because I didn't use them, I have no way of knowing the quality of their work.
The bad is inexcusable- I was then handed an estimate for the job of slightly over $2500! I questioned the technician about such an outrageous quote and he told me unexpected surprises could occur. I challenged him to come up with one even slightly reasonable example of that on my job. He could not. He also stated that they were not the cheapest in town. Quite the understatement!
I then proceeded to request estimates from other electricians. Each one ranged from about $500 to $700. I priced out all the parts on Amazon and purchased them all for slightly under $100. I then proceeded to hire an electrician. I supplied the parts and he quoted $500 for labor. In slightly less than three hours, the job was completed perfectly and professionally. To me, there is no ethical way to charge $2500 for a job that virtually all competitors quoted 80% less! Buyer beware and definitely shop around. I've attached the estimate to this review.

I contacted Custom Electric SD about removing and replacing three ceiling fans. I had visitors in town to help me take care of my wife who had just gotten out of surgery. The rooms they were staying in were warm, and my existing fans were shot. Custom Electric SD came with very short notice to my home and replaced all three fans lickety-split. The fans look and work great! I also felt like the prices were very reasonable, especially considering the short notice. I highly recommend Custom Electric SD - I know I'll be using them again.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company. We needed a new outlet for an electric stove because our old stove was propane. The tech was knowledgeable and everything was done quickly, no mess left behind and I can finally use an oven again! They were prompt in responding to my call and came on time and I'm very pleased with the work and they were great with some trouble shooting that happened. Absolutely call them!

I was referred to James by my realtor. I hired James to install electrical for my stove and microwave and a couple of switches. Being a home from the 60's, we found out quickly my whole electrical system was out dated and obsolete. After fixing what I'd initially wanted he then replaced my breaker box, installed a fan and recessed lighting in my living room. James was originally scheduled for two days but made time out of his busy schedule to complete additional request on the third day. Great experience and will definitely use his services in the future. Will definitely recommend!
