I needed an outlet installed on the outer portion of our house.  I found Premo here and Yelp and I see why they have such high ratings.  Communication was excellent and I received a good quote very quickly after I inquired.  The technician that came out was super friendly and explained everything to me from start to finish.  From now on I will definitely use Premo for any other electrical services we need in our home in the future.

They did an excellent job on a panel upgrade for my house. Power came back on sooner than I expected.

I should also mention that they maintained communication with me throughout the process...with updates regarding city permits and utilities which I appreciate very much.

Outstanding and very professional.   Had some electrical issues at our home that after 2 companies came out to try and fix, but couldn't figure out the problems (flickering lights, wall outlet issues and wires that were crossed causing other electrical issues).  SRP came out, diagnosed the issues easily and were able to fix everything.   Very knowledgeable team and would definitely recommend them to anyone with electrical issues... We've had Leo come out and help us on three different occasions and we will definitely be calling him again when we have more electrical projects that need to be done around the house. He is always very responsive, prompt, and professional. He has done quite a few upgrades to our 1970s Mira Mesa home including replacing our old circuit breaker panel, installing a dedicated breaker for our microwave, replacing old ceiling fans with a chandelier in our dining room and recessed lighting in our front room, and replaced 3 flush mount fixtures in our hallway & laundry room. We definitely recommend reaching out to Leo if you have any electrical repairs and/or upgrades that you need done to your home.

Jesus from United Electric was on time, very courteous and fixed the problem in 30 minutes.  The fee to come out and asses the problem was much better than the other company I considered.  Jesus' assessment fee would be applied to the bill if necessary.  However, Jesus and his partner completed the job quickly and I only paid the assessment fee.  They have a new loyal customer.  Thank you Jesus and to you partner.

H&H provided truly fantastic support to our young family on short notice just before the holidays. We needed some help with updates to our fuse box associated with a new appliance on short notice. Mark stopped by on his way home and was able to help us out right away. Mark arrived when he said he would, explained the scope of work required and helped us understand the changes to the system before he left.

Rory Higgins is definitely now my go to electrician!  He hard wired my husband's PS4 ... no easy task ....and worked diligently and steadily until it was done.  He also put in a new outside outlet in record time.  He's who I will call for all future needs!

Frank was prompt in  responding to our initial inquiry to install motion sensor lights on both   sides of our house and to getting an outdoor socket to work.  He quoted us a very fair cost--even with having to punch a hole through a upstairs bedroom to the outside wall! He was punctual, polite, and professional. All work was neat and clean and efficiently done.
We will definitely be calling on Frank again for future work.

I lost power to one room in my home and Romo was able to come out the same day I called to take a look at the problem. I ended up needing to replace the entire breaker panel and they gave a quote and scheduled me for next day installation.

Julian was the electrician that came out to replace the panel and ended up coming a few hours earlier than scheduled which was perfect! He explained everything that caused the problem as well as what he would be doing. He worked quickly and I was up and running in no time. The price from the original quote is what I paid once the work was complete.

Had an electrical issue that needed to be diagnosed and repaired. Contacted several electricians and Primo's was the first to respond. I explained what was going on and he gave me a quote and appointment for the next day. Jose was very polite and professional. He explained exactly what he was going to do and made sure to answer my questions before he started to work. Went through Home Advisors to find an electrician to cut in a new line and tie it to a box outdoors. Chris McWay from McWay Electric called and made an appointment to take a look and offer an estimate. He showed up on time, looked at the project in question, and quickly told me what would be required to take care of it completely. The price was right, I asked him if he could do it right then and he said he could. Thirty minutes later everything was done, cleaned up, functioning properly, and he was first class all the way through the job. I was very impressed with the job he did and the manner in which he presented himself.

This is a dream company.  You call, they are courteous and respond immediately.  A gentleman comes to your home, surveys the area in question, explains what's needed intelligently and politely, and gives you a written, fair estimate.  Upon your approval, the work is then scheduled and performed efficiently and promptly.  The electricians take great care with your property and leave things clean.  I am 100% happy with their work and their customer service is top notch.

I had been hearing about Point Loma Electric from Mike Slater on KFMB Radio for months before I finally made the call. They were friendly and had me set up with an appointment quickly. The quote I was provided for the work I needed to have completed was the exact price I paid at the end of the completed job. No surprises, or hidden fees. The electrician was clean cut, courteous, and kept his work space spotless. I could really tell he cared about my safety and my home. I could also tell that no corners were cut. I first found LTE Electric/Luke through a NextDoor recommendation. I first hired them to finish some electrical work for our kitchen remodel and most recently re-hired them for running some new circuits for a landscaping project.

Luke and his team are highly knowledgeable, cooperative, and responsive; which are traits you always want in a contractor. As I've hired them twice now, I won't hesitate to call them for my future projects.

My tenants called me in a panic at 9 PM, saying that the power went out - probably due to them running too many electrical appliances at once.  My tenant tried to reset the house circuit breaker, but to no avail.  I was reluctant to call an electrician as I knew that there would be hefty service fees for the late hour/emergency call, but I had no choice.

At 9:15 PM, we started calling the electricians open 24 hours in the area: most didn't answer.  James with Custom Electric was one of the two companies that actually answered the phone.  What set him apart was the fact that he suggested that my tenant try resetting the circuit at the main SDGE electrical box by the street.  The first few attempts did not work, but he patiently guided us through the process (over the phone) until the power was restored.  Talk about fantastic customer service!!!

I am definitely going to call James the next time we face another electrical issue (which will probably be soon since the townhouse was built in the 70s).

Edited to add 12/15/2015: The breaker continued to trip, so James inspected the panel and discovered that the breaker was overheating.  He quickly replaced it and we haven't had any electrical issues since!

James was super helpful from the minute I called him to fix a circuit issue I was having at my apartment. When he arrived he was able to quickly diagnose the situation and thoroughly explain to me what was going on and how he was going to fix it. He was a great value for what he did and will absolutely be calling him for any other electrical needs I have!
