Best Electricians in San Diego, CA

We recently contacted Premo Electric to install 3 ceiling fans in our new condo. Richard at the main office lined us up with Niall (Nile) and his able assistant Peter for the work.

With Richard's scheduling assistance, Nile and Peter arrived right on time and went to work.  We had indicated there should be significant attic space for the installation, but we hadn't personally inpected things.  Turns out there really wasn't such space to speak of.  

Given that fact we did incur a small, reasonable upcharge for additional work on 2 of the fans, and the guys went to work plotting the more challenging installations.

Past experience had led to significant wall cuts and rather crude rough patchwork requiring repair to finish the walls.  Within 4 hours the team was finishing up all three installations with only 3 small cuts - each no larger than the palm of a hand - and each professionally patched requiring minimal final finishing by our paint contractor!

We have already had them back to install power above our fireplace for a TV mounting.  This time there was NOT ONE cut in the wall!

These are truly electrician magicians, and will be on call for any future electrical work we need. Assuming their other Premo work teams are as thorough, skilled and professional as Niall and Peter you can count on quality professional work from Premo Electric.

I am an engineer and am no stranger to electricity/electronics, but am a stranger to home wiring.  I spent a day trying to find the problem and isolated it down to one section of the wiring but I couldn't find the root problem.  I explained it to Rory and he had it figured out in 5 minutes, maybe less.  He fixed it in another 10 minutes or so.

Rory is very professional, friendly, and competent.

I do have one suggestion for him: he should mention on his website that he doesn't check his email regularly and much prefers to communicate by text.

Frank totally transformed our living room and kitchen and bathroom lighting. He is very detailed and organized in his work and guided us through the process every step of the way. We are so happy with our new lighting and amazed at how it transformed the ambiance of our space. If you are looking for a trustworthy, efficient and communicative electrician- Frank is your man!!

I can't say enough about the excellent service I just received from Romo at ER Electric. I had been having electrical issues in my condo and was unable to figure out the problem. I called ER electric and was able to quickly set an appointment. Romo was on time and was very courteous and friendly. He quickly diagnosed the problem, explained it to me and fixed it in just minutes. It was a pleasure working with someone who is so reliable, professional and friendly. I work with Jose for all my electrical needs. He is knowledgeable, punctual and professional in his field. He is able to work with me on my projects whether it is installing a new digital a/c thermometer, changing switches, installing a new pendant light, or replacing ceiling fans he is the man to go to.

Chris was FANTASTIC!!  He came to our house for a site visit before he gave me a quote. He offered options that were available to resolve my issue and shared the difference in cost for each. He also leveraged his expertise to recommend a resolution that worked out beautifully!!  He was ver customer-focused, friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable!  I will continue to use him for all of my electrical needs.

I have had Interwest Electric to my home several times for different issues as I am getting my home ready to sell. I made a regular appointment and two service people came on time.  They were friendly, introduced themselves, and completed the tasks quickly. I asked them to do something else and they were able to do it right then.  The next day I called them for another issue that came up, Dean was able to get them out the next day, even though I knew they were busy. I recommended them to my neighbor and after finishing with me, they were able to go right over and fix her problem.  Dean and his staff have been easy to work with, considerate of my schedule and time, have done quality work, all with great customer service. I will defiantly recommend them again.

I had breaker switch that kept tripping. Also, I wanted to install an additional outlet in the bathroom. Kevin from Electric Electric Works gave me a courtesy call 30 minutes before the appointment and came to my house on time. He was courteous and gave me quotes for each of the electrical projects. He explained to me what the potential problem is and my options are before starting any work. I am very happy that I chose this company and I will use them again.

I recently purchased a dated condo and contacted Point Loma Electric on Yelp to see if they could help with some issues that came up during home inspection. Within hours I received a response, and one phone call later I had an appointment for inspection and estimate set up. Two days later, the electrician (Charlie) arrived on time to inspect and give estimate.

Charlie was able to inspect my electrical panel which needs replacement and outlet switches that were upside-down. He was able to provide an estimate on the spot for repairs. I always get several quotes before getting work done and the quote I received from Point Loma Electric was in-line with others. Given the great reviews online I decided to go forward with correcting the upside-down switches and the three way switch that was not wired correctly.

I was impressed with Charlie's level of knowledge on issues I had questions about and pride he took in his work. I feel like when he left I had a much better understanding of the electrical panel issue and how it needed to be corrected. I will most likely go with this company when I decide to get my panel replaced.

I'm working with other companies on plumbing issues and installing new flooring. It seems like everyone takes forever to respond, let alone quote or do work for a reasonable cost. I was impressed that Point Loma Electric seemed to be on the ball with everything. From the moment I requested a quote to the moment I ended the customer-satisfaction call after Charlie left, I was impressed. I will use this company again in the future when I need electrical work done.

Luke was very responsive and flexible. Job involved wiring and installing several ceiling fans, sconces, can lights, a chandelier, and garage lighting, plus redoing an outdoor GFCI outlet. They were efficient and completed the job well with the estimated time. It was a pleasure having him do our stuff!

James and Kyle are the best electricians in San Diego. They always got me on their schedule either within a few hours or a couple days. They do great work and they are very friendly and very well priced. I have used them for every electrical need I have had, and they have always done great work!

Roddy from AEI did a wonderful job on our project today installing an outdoor heater in our backyard. His communication was great. He showed up on time as scheduled. He did the job as we planned for a very reasonable price. I would recommend this company and specifically Roddy to anyone needing household electrical work done.

I hired James to help remove all the knob and tube wiring from our 1920s home, and it was a big job. I was impressed with his passion for his work, his attention to detail, and his punctuality.
