I needed help with 2 outlets that were not working. Steve was amazing and even tried to walk me through how to troubleshoot over the phone to see if I even needed an electrician. I did, so he sent Rudy over within a day! Rudy was very knowledgeable, and he explained what was wrong. He fixed it quickly and made sure both outlets were functional before leaving. I will be using them again for sure.

We had an electrical fire in one of our GFI outlets on a Saturday at 2pm. When we realized the extent of the damage, we knew we needed an electrician to evaluate it to be sure it was safe. I began calling a few places and Leo was one of them. I left him a message and he texted me back that he would contact me as soon as he got out of a meeting. Within 20 minutes, he was on his way to our house. He quickly evaluated the outlet, checked the wires, and pulled out the damaged box. He did an excellent job and was done in 45 minutes. So glad we called him and found a local electrician we can rely on!

Jesus was awesome. I needed four ceiling fans installed, switches and led celling light assemblies changed. Reached out on Saturday evening and he responded quickly. He came to see the work and estimate it on Sunday. And was doing the work by Monday. And on top of that he saved us a couple hundred dollars in comparison to some of the estimates I received.

One of the challenges of relocation is finding vendors as good as the ones we left behind in our old home town. (See Maine Electric of Livermore.) We absolutely lucked out when we contacted H&H. Mark came to our 30-year-old house weeks after we'd bought it and went over the entire electrical system, fixing things that were either in disrepair or had been badly done in the past. Some of these problems were actually dangerous. He also installed smoke/CO alarms, which the house did not have.

Now that Mark has fixed what was either in disrepair or downright shoddy, we're looking forward to having him come back and install new ceiling fans, ceiling lights, larger outlets, and whatever custom lighting we decide on.

Rory was able to come out quickly to fix an improperly mounted 220v outlet for our stove. He had great communication, gave us an up-front estimate on the repair cost which he met, couldn't be happier.

Best all round electrician in San Diego. Frank Electric recently rewired our entire 1920 Craftsman ( original wires!) upgraded our panel to be solar ready and installed new outlets throughout. Responsive, attentive to detail, professional, thoughtful and competitively priced. If you know anyone interested in getting into this line of work, you couldn't ask for a better company to learn from.

Romo and his team are top notch.  I had recessed LED lighting installed in a few places in my home and they did an EXCELLENT job.  One aspect if their trade that sets them apart from others is that they are extremely clean and cleanup after themselves.  They take the time to cover carpet, furniture, etc. before doing any work.  You won't be disappointed if you hire them for your home electrical needs.

Chris was FANTASTIC!!  He came to our house for a site visit before he gave me a quote. He offered options that were available to resolve my issue and shared the difference in cost for each. He also leveraged his expertise to recommend a resolution that worked out beautifully!!  He was ver customer-focused, friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable!  I will continue to use him for all of my electrical needs.

Had previously used Point Loma Electric for some wiring mods in our garage so expected good, but not cheap, work when our 8 year old Bosch dishwasher stopped working.  First called a factory certified appliance repairman who thoroughly disassembled/reassembled it before announcing it was an electrical problem - instead of 120v the dishwasher was only getting 55v.  Called and got on Point Loma's standby list and they fit me in early the next day.  Evidently their $30 service fee is just for them showing up - they listened to my story then wanted $250 for a 'Level 1 Diagnostic and Quick Repair' - with no guarantee they could find or fix the problem.  I was skeptical that a quick repair was possible since the dishwasher was on a dedicated 20 amp circuit - if it wasn't the unit itself, must be either the circuit breaker or wiring in between, right??  Charlie & Edgar troubleshot and bounced ideas off each other for about an hour and I was beginning to imagine torn out walls to repair a rat chewed wire somewhere.  Then Edgar had the idea to check nearby electrical outlets - bingo.  They found a loose neutral wire which meant that outlet was working fine but was intermittently causing problems with the dishwasher.  Interesting fact:  that outlet hadn't been worked on for over 18 months, when we had the kitchen counter tops replaced.  They quickly fixed the problem and everything is running properly again.  In all, an excellent diagnostic by smart, personable professionals - and don't regret the cost at all.  Highly recommended.

Pricing is the best among a dozen of quotes that I received. Looks very knowledgeable and has installed many of these.

I can't say enough good things about this company!  I asked for a quote on a Friday for a ceiling fan light install for Monday and they responded promptly from my Yelp inquiry.  As soon as I confirmed that we wanted to hire them, we had an appt scheduled for Monday afternoon.

They arrived early and had the job done within approx 1 hour (including patching the wall/ceiling to match our texture perfectly).  They brought all their tools and drop cloths to avoid getting our furniture and carpet dirty.  They even disposed of our fan box and vacuumed the area before they left.

I can't rave enough about them!  Before they left I was already asking their opinion about future projects and will 100% be hiring them again.

They made the entire process so simple that I was mad it took me so long to get this fan light installed.
