Best Electricians in San Diego, CA

A friend recommended Premo Electric to me and I checked out their Yelp reviews which were very positive, so I decided to call them.  The guy who answered the phone seemed very knowledgable and gave me a good idea of what the job would entail and roughly how much time it would take.

The electrician, Niall, called ahead of time to let me know he was on his way and he was right on time.  He was very courteous and professional and kept informed about the progress of the job which took a few hours.  He did a great job and everything seems to be working smoothly.  I will call them again when I need more electrical work in the future.

We needed a 20amp GFCI outlet in the bathroom and some wiring done for a kitchen exhaust fan.

The company was quick to respond from setting up an appointment for an estimate to any communication thereafter.

The technicians arrived on time, were very accommodating, professional and friendly. Our house is quite small and a little difficult to crawl under the house as well as in the attic but the two technicians got the job done and left the place tidy afterwards.

Would definitely use this company for any further electrical work.

Call these guys, seriously. We recently moved in to an older home that needed quite a few things looked at, fixed, and installed. Mike and the team came out quickly and timely and completed the job in one and a half days, including replacing 41 outlets and 26 switches, installing recessed lighting, running Ethernet throughout the house, cut and pulled old bad wiring, among many other items. Call this guy. Leo is awesome! From the time I first contacted him early in the morning on a Sunday to the time he had my power back up, LESS THAN 90 MINUTES HAD ELAPSED!!!
He replied within 10 minutes of my sending him a request. He first went over some tips via text to see if my house power outage could be easily resolved. Once we determined that a more experienced hand would be needed for my older electrical panel, he was at my location (Rancho Penasquitos) within 30 minutes. Once he confirmed that the main circuit breaker had failed, it didn't take long for him to get everything fixed and double-checked.
I really appreciate that he took the time to troubleshoot over the phone to see if the issue was something that I could resolve myself. Excellent customer service. Super nice guy, too.
I'll definitely be calling him again the next time I need anything electrical done!

Terrific service from United Electric! Jesus installed a 14-50 outlet in our garage for an EV charging station. He identified an incorrectly installed circuit breaker (work done by a previous contractor) and came back to fix that, and then got us through the City's permitting process for the charging station. Always prompt, communicated the whole process and price very clearly, and even waited an extra two hours for the inspector to show up when he was delayed.

I was extremely impressed with Mark. He was responsive to my initial inquiry, punctual for the appointment, very thorough on troubleshooting my electrical issues, and upfront with all costs and timing of work.

Easy to communicate with and schedule, was right on par with his estimate, and took great care of our room! We had Rory install a ceiling fixture in our soon-to-be nursery with a dimmer switch. It looks beautiful, and everything was tidy when he left. I couldn't even tell anyone had been there. We got a few estimates for other projects in our home and will definitely use him again!

Frank is awesome. He installed 6 new recessed lights and replaced 4 old ones for me. Fair pricing. Great communication. Quick to get the job done and didn't leave a spec of dust behind. Not to mention he's a very friendly guy - you'd probably want to buy him a beer once the job is done!

I had ER Electric come out to my house in July to diagnose an issue with my main breaker that kept tripping. He arrived on time, did a thorough inspection and recommended replacing the breaker. His quote was reasonable and fair, and he was able to do the repair the same day - providing quick relief for a very troublesome issue. He did such a great job, that when I had another issue with an outdoor GCFI, I called him back. He again, arrived quickly, and completed the necessary repair and everything works perfectly now - and looks better than before. I love that he is willing to take on not only large jobs but smaller ones as well, and that his schedule is flexible. I was able to make both of my appointments around my work day. Quick, reliable, communicative, efficient, and fair. What more can you ask for? He is now my go-to electrician.

Worked with Jose to repair some poorly done wiring in the garage in our newly purchased home. He's very responsive and laid out a plan to get everything in working order. He was also willing to tackle a few other add-on electrical projects for us. He's very knowledgeable, has attention to detail, and just gets things done right the first time. He does great work for a great price. Next time I need an electrician, I'm calling Jose again.

Chris was FANTASTIC!!  He came to our house for a site visit before he gave me a quote. He offered options that were available to resolve my issue and shared the difference in cost for each. He also leveraged his expertise to recommend a resolution that worked out beautifully!!  He was ver customer-focused, friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable!  I will continue to use him for all of my electrical needs.

I am extremely pleased with my decision to go with Interwest Electric for a repair on my home. Dean replied to my original Yelp request within minutes, and called me in the morning to schedule an estimate for the work. He showed up to my house exactly on time, followed social distancing guidelines with a mask, and was able to give me a very fair quote and timeline. A few days later Dean and crew arrived on time and completed the job quickly and efficiently. They repaired an old weathered post on the roof that connected power lines to an addition on my home. Not only did they install a new pressure treated post, but they removed the old one and patched up the hole. I will definitely be using them in the future.

This is the first time I've worked with Point Loma Electric and wow what a great experience! I usually dread having to deal with a plumbing issue as it has typically taken a ton of time and is a nuisance to work around my schedule. But not with Point Loma Electric!  They were easy to work with my schedule, were prompt and diligent. After the initial visit to scope out my issue, they came back out to repair a broken pipe under my driveway and completed the job efficiently and quickly! Their office staff was very friendly and the whole thing from start to finish was seamless! I highly recommend them!!!

Luke is great - he fixed multiple electrical problems with my house, finding creative (but still fully code-compliant) solutions. He listens, doesn't try to upsell you, and is very easy to work with. Highly recommended!

I had James come out and give me an estimate on canned lights in four rooms and a hallway. I also needed a outlet added in the garage. The estimate was sent via email quickly and within a week I got back with James and hired him. He was able to come out quickly and also did all the drywall repair for the areas where electrical lines need to be fished and or run. Would use him again in a heartbeat!!

James just left after he installed my antennae and set up our TVs that gets me away from cox cable. Showed up on time and went right to work...doesn't waste time. Excellent workmanship. Totally willing to explain what is going on in actual English-ese not techy-ese. Very personable and friendly. Very impressed with his professionalism and knowledge.
