Best Electricians in San Diego, CA

I have used Premo Electric for outlet repair and liked their service so much that I had them come back to install a ceiling fan.  Niall was my electrician both times.  He was very prompt, professional, and efficient with his work.  On both occasions I was very satisfied with his work.  I will definitely use Premo electric for my future projects.

Task:  Add four quad outlets to a bedroom on the existing circuit.

The two electricians showed up on time with all necessary equipment and supplies.  The bedroom under work had the furnishings, flooring and baseboards removed.  Much to my surprise, the electricians cut five sizable holes in the drywall at knee level to run the cabling instead of dropping the cable to floor level so the holes could be hidden behind new baseboard (the attached YouTube screenshot shows what I expected them to do).  Instead I had to tape, patch, sand, and texture the walls before painting.  To be fair, these guys do what most electricians do: make the connections however possible and let the drywallers and painters cover whatever damage results.  While that might be normal for new construction or an extensive remodel, on a finished wall it was inconvenient and delayed my painting by about a week.

They were quick and they did clean up after themselves much better than other electricians I have hired, so there's that.  

The other bedroom will undergo similar treatment in the coming months, but I'll probably do that myself and run the cabling down to the floor and behind the baseboard where drywall patching won't be needed.

These guys know what they are doing!  We had a weird issue going on with our lights where they were flickering.  Our tech Anthony was on time, professional, and very knowledgeable.  Needing an electrician is never a good time but when the need arises I'm happy to know who to call.

Mike was great. He was very quick to quote a panel replacement and upgrade for me, and came in with the lowest price, by far. He was very communicative and was very clean when performing the work. Highly recommended!

We had an electrical fire in one of our GFI outlets on a Saturday at 2pm. When we realized the extent of the damage, we knew we needed an electrician to evaluate it to be sure it was safe. I began calling a few places and Leo was one of them. I left him a message and he texted me back that he would contact me as soon as he got out of a meeting. Within 20 minutes, he was on his way to our house. He quickly evaluated the outlet, checked the wires, and pulled out the damaged box. He did an excellent job and was done in 45 minutes. So glad we called him and found a local electrician we can rely on!

We had some electrical issues that needed to be addressed in our home as well as some additional work we wished to be done. Jesus and his partner Jose worked efficiently and professionally at a very reasonable price. They corrected faulty wiring, replaced defective GFCI's, added junction boxes for a ceiling fan and chandelier, and added a sub panel in our garage to reorganize our electrical loads. Jesus responded quickly to all of our texts, was prompt, courteous and completed the job on time. I highly recommend United Electric.

Mark is absolutely a stand up guy from start to finish. He was on time, honest about the work/pricing, and easy to work with. Due to old wiring in my house, an issue came up that wasn't his fault after his visit. He came back out a few days later and corrected everything without question.

Sick of searching for a electrician? Look no further than Frank. Friendlier, better priced, and more professional than the other estimates I had. Took care of all the legwork logistically with our 200A service upgrade, Tesla charger installation, and adding an outdoor outlet... and you can believe SDG&E doesn't make it easy. Even took care of a ceiling fan I had incorrectly wired earlier . Estimate was accurate to the dollar, even with the extra time and effort he put into my job. If you need an electrician call Frank! I'll rest my entire Yelp reputation on it.

Jose's knowledge and work ethic is rare to come by. I opened up a new restaurant needing some extensive work done. He did what was needed to get everything in place and working. It took a lot of skill and to recognize the root of the issues. I am extremely pleased and happy to know a trusted electrician. He is the best!

Great work from Chris and Justin who took care of my dual meter and 200amp service upgrade project for my rental property that I added a detached ADU. They did all the scheduling with SDG&E and city inspector. Their work passed the city inspection and now I got my 2 meters and a subpanel inside the garage that they transferred all the circuit from the old panel. They also gave me the lowest bid out of 5 contractors I contacted. Very professional and have all the materials ready when all the other contractors telling me that what I needed for the project are backordered.  Will definitely use them again for any future electrical projects. I've been using Interwest for electrical work for going on 12 years for any type of electrical work I've needed at my homes over the years.  Initially they saved me when the ceiling heat in a condo I was selling did not work and was causing concern with buyers. Dean suggested electric wall heaters that were an excellent and cost effective solution. Most recently, I have engaged them to do some work on a new home I just purchased. Dean came out on a weekend to take a look at what we needed and followed up with a quote within a few days.   Dean and his firm are top notch.  The service is excellent, the staff are professional and courteous. Fair prices as well.  I highly recommend them to anyone.

Jesus was awesome. He showed up to my place to make confirm what needed to be done. I needed to convert a standard 110v to a 240v outlet. I was ready to cut drywall in order to do some rewiring. Jesus looked everything over and was able get I done by fishing new wires through the existing conduit. He saved me a lot of money and headache.  He did a quality job for a super competitive price. So happy I found these guys! They did work on indoor and outdoor lighting today and did an A+ job. My biggest stress was that I was going to have to do drywall repair but none was needed on any of the lights. Hector and his coworker were awesome. Kept me updated the whole time, were transparent about pricing upfront, and pleasant to work with. Definitely will be using these guys again. On the pricier side, but quality work!

Luke was very responsive and flexible. Job involved wiring and installing several ceiling fans, sconces, can lights, a chandelier, and garage lighting, plus redoing an outdoor GFCI outlet. They were efficient and completed the job well with the estimated time. It was a pleasure having him do our stuff!

We asked Custom Electric to update our kitchen and bathroom lighting to recessed LED, as well as make a couple smaller switch changes.  James, Kyle and Carlos were quick and  friendly on site, and were precise in their work.  They finished ahead of schedule, cleaned up after themselves and took care of a couple details that I wouldn't have thought of.  Overall, a great impression.

I especially appreciated that James liked working as a collaborator on the design and the approach.  We'd asked for fixtures and switches that were a little outside the norm, and he said he liked learning from this project.

We have a lot of electrical projects in the house that remain to be done, and I'll be glad to call James again in the future.
