I don't write reviews often. But Art and his teams' work deserves more good reviews. We planned to switch from an electric stove to a gas stove, and we do not have kitchen ventilation installed. So our project includes a new dedicated gas line and a kitchen ventilation duct installation.

We got four quotes from different companies, Art was the most professional one with a very affordable price range. During the estimation, he was the only one that checked everything to make sure the quote was accurate. The duct was very tricky to install without removing the drywall, but they managed to complete the work perfectly as promised. You can feel they care about the work and your property, and they try hard to get the job done correctly.

We were able to pass the city inspection without any issue. Right now three weeks have passed, and we enjoyed our new gas range very much, as well as our new kitchen range hood.

I would like to thank them for being honest and professional.

I was looking for someone to snake our toilet and replace it with one we had purchased with a turbo flush toilet. I reached out to a few plumbers recommended on another site with no response searched on Yelp. Jaxson with Creativity Plumbing was responsive, provided a very competitive and reasonable price, even better came out the same day, on a Sunday. He messaged me earlier in the day to let me know he was running late, which I appreciated. He was very respectful, and discussed everything. As he was getting ready to install the new toilet, he noticed a minor chip in the back of the toilet which is barely noticeable. He took his time to explain the finding, said it won't change the function, he wanted to make sure we were ok with using it with this defect. Since it wasn't noticeable we told him it is fine, I appreciate his honesty and informing us of this.

He even messed me the next day to ask how everything is working! I definitely will use him again if we need more plumbing work, which we will soonish!

Excellent service, and friendly professional techs. Our water heater died and needed to be replaced. We had a heat pump model installed, and Barnett installed a loaner unit at no cost while we waited for the electrician to make the necessary updates. They're great, we'll definitely work with them again when we need to.

We've been working with Mark and his guys for the last 4 years. They installed a whole house water purifying system for us, installed a tank less water heater and a re-circulation pump and a few other odds and ends jobs in our home. They are always on time, neat, friendly and courteous and explain everything they're doing. They stand behind their work. We would not hesitate to recommend them.

Had what I thought was a busted garbage disposal so called MR Fix to see if we could get it looked at. Turned out I just needed to hit a reset button! The service tech was very kind and polite, patiently walking me through how to do it. I was up and running in less than 5 minutes. I'll definitely be using them for my service needs in the future!

We were in desperate need of help with a water leakage. We called several plumbing services and Matt was the first to pick up. He arrived within 5 min and fixed the leakage right away. He was very knowledgeable explained how we could fix the problem on our own next time. Thanks for saving the day, Matt!

Solid recommendation for Phil and his assistant. They arrived promptly as scheduled, and worked tirelessly all morning. The old pipes/faucets proved more time consuming than originally expected( hard water/30+ years without replacement), but Phil and I easily agreed on a fair price. Will definitely call Garrison plumbing for future needs.

We had an issue with the power outlet for the refrigerator. AY EMP was very accommodative in scheduling the work and they were systematic and patient to find what the issue was. Will definitely be using their services again.

I wouldn't use these guys again. On the plus side, they came promptly. The situation was a sewer pipe that needed cleaning out. I have a short pipe that was just cleaned out two years ago (it gets roots in it), and has a nice new cleanout to the surface. He ran a snake through, didn't find much, but it did get unstuck. I asked him to send a camera through, so we can see what was in there, but someone else had the camera. He came back two days later with the camera, and showed me the roots in the pipe. (Hmm, hadn't I just paid to get those cleaned out?) He then wrote me up an estimate of $3300 to replace the pipe (!). That was outrageous. He offered $2800. He didn't suggest other, much cheaper, avenues. I called the manager to complain. He offered to replace the pipe for much less, but honestly, I didn't feel like working with these guys any more after that. They should have offered to finish cleaning out the roots, which I had paid for, but they did not. Instead, they just tried to upsell me to pipe replacement. And they tried to charge as much as possible. Not okay in my book.

My water heater works now -- I'll give them that.

The pilot light of my water heater wouldn't re-light, and I called Ace because they were on listed the manufacturer's site. J.D. arrived on time the next morning and began to troubleshoot the water heater. He starts by pressing the piezoelectric lighter button about 30 times within 30 seconds trying to get the pilot going (no exaggeration).

Problem #1: the pilot lit after the first press or two, he just couldn't see it. I let him know that the lighter works well, but he would need to turn himself around in order see the flame through the little window. He ignored me and pressed the button roughly 50 more times. His friend or assistant or whatever -- obviously embarrassed with J.D. -- repeated my suggestion, and J.D. reluctantly turned around after another 20 attempts. Surprise, the pilot lights just fine now that he can see it.

After confirming what I've told him -- that the thermostat/gas valve unit is bad and would need to be replaced (I had already replaced the thermocouple, and the 'single-use hi-temp shutoff' appeared to be tripped) -- J.D. informs me that he'll need to go to a supplier to get a new one, and he'll be back in a couple hours.

He returns a couple hours later and replaces the gas valve, and the water heater works. Yay! Not having hot water is pretty horrible in SF. [sarcasm]He then does a nice, professional job taping the piezoelectric lighter to the new valve.[/sarcasm]

Problem #2: He rips me off, charging me $170 for the valve, which is a $50-80 part. And that's on top of labor. I ask him for a copy of the receipt for the part, both because he's ripping me off and so I can have it to submit to the manufacturer for warranty reimbursement.

Problem #3: He lies. He replies, Ace will send you a copy of the part receipt in a couple of days. That never happened.

Find someone else who doesn't have employees that are dishonest and will rip you off.

I had a leak near my water meter and Dan was very responsive and even squeezed me in at the end of his work day to trouble shoot the situation.  The next day Dan fixed the leak at the water meter and a nearby irrigation pipe that was broken by roots. Dan was thorough, professional and had a great attitude.  I

Early this year we had a significant leak issue on our property and we were desperately trying to find someone to help us fix it.
It's an older home with a good sized crawl space but a few plumbers that we spoke to before refused to even bother figure out where the leak is.. We ended up in a weekend, making us wonder what to do next. Luckily, found All Pro on yelp and gave it a shot!! We are so glad we did, Julio came by to check on it on saturday!  figured where the problem could be, told us what he was going to try and bingo, there was no leak after that fix. Now, he had to cut off supply to a cottage at the back since the buried line had deteriorated.  He gave us a reasonable quote to come by and repipe it. He took his sunday break along with one of his buddies and had everything back on by the end of the day next day. We were amazed by his professionalism, his honesty and sincerity.

We knew that our rather long supply to main house also was going to show a leak again... and seeing Julio's work, we decided to pre-empt that issue. Julio and his team worked again with the same amount of commitment and had us up and running on new supply pipe by end of day! Inspection was done and then they came back and closed refilled the dirt. We have a property with trees and it's not an easy job. This team did a great job with copper repiping!

If anyone needs a repipe done, this team is your team.

George is one-of-a-kind. I ran into a snag trying to replace a garbage disposal. George picked up right away. He knew right away what the issue was, happened to be in the area, and was at my door within 15 minutes and solved it in minutes. The other guys I called still haven't even called back. I'll definitely be coming back to George for my plumbing needs.

Great job! The pipe for the drainage from our washer was clogged and caused backup of water. I called Lee based on all the great Yelp reviews and I am so glad I did. He was on time, professional, efficient, knowledgeable and pleasant to talk to. Most importantly I think he is honest and trustworthy. Not only did he solve our main drainage problem and a few other slow sinks, he also explained to us how to avoid some of the problems in the future, or how to deal with it ourselves if the problem is minor, so we don't have to spend the X dollars to call a plumber. Highly recommended.

Paul from Bellows was phenomenal!  He went above and beyond to take care of our back up problem immediately with vacationers at our place in Santa Cruz.  He also gave me important maintenance recommendations to avoid the problem in the future as well as informed me of other  plumbing issues that will need attention soon in our vintage home with vintage plumbing! Lots of valuable info with zero sales pressure!  I will be calling Bellows (and requesting a Paul) from now on!!!
