Update - Today Andy (& James) came out to do a few things I've been putting off - low water pressure in my kitchen faucet, a slow bathroom drain, and concerns about the water going to my clothes washing machine (I have giant HE stackables in a small closet and behind which you cannot see).

OMGOSH! I'm so happy. Andy figured out the issue with the kitchen sink - FIXED!! and the bathroom sink draining issue - FIXED!! and even confirmed that my washing machine was set up correctly - YAY!!!

And, they were able to come earlier which, I know, is really the luck of the draw, but still nice to get things done sooner!!

I am so glad I found Letts. They continue to do a really great job - even on the little things! I recommend them highly!!

Our old water heater died.  These guys came out quickly and thats the best thing I can say.  After that they gave us an estimate of 5K for a new traditional tank hot water heater and 8K for a tankless.  This included removal of a slave 40 gal tank from an old solar hot water system as a slight complication to a normal job.   5K/8K for a new hot water heater.  What made them decide to gouge us I dont know.  That we didn't have Hot water, my wife was home alone,  the extra labor to clean up the old solar hot water mess??????  They were saying it was going to be an all day job for two guys.  seemed outrageous.

Another local company came out and sold us a properly sized tankless unit for our house.  Ripped out all the old stuff and recycled the pipes and installed the new unit and ventilation system.  The main installer did most of it in about 5 hours and then a co-worker showed up at the end to help carry and load the old heater cores.  All the work was neat and tidy.

for slightly more than 3k.  not 8k

Buyer beware.....  These guys wanted to charge 5K over on a 3K job.

I have been a customer of toms plumbing for at least 20 years and would always have given 5-stars.  My recent experience I downgraded slightly because of their refusal to give me an itemized bill for the parts and labor.  In the past I never felt the need so never asked however this time the bill seemed excessive.  I had hoped for an explanation but received none.  To their benefit, they offered me a 10% reduction and I accepted it but still felt that I had paid too much.  They could have at least separated the parts from labor.

Joksan is knowledgable, professional, and cost is reasonable.  I think I've found my go to plumber.  Thank you Joksan.

I needed a gas shutoff valve installed for our dryer, so I gave Barnett Plumbing a call and got an appointment with Matt. Matt was very professional and knowledgeable, and he explained what steps he was taking so I could respond appropriately in the event of a gas leak. Super fun guy to talk to and learn from. I really appreciated that as I am learning more about the new home. I will definitely be calling Barnett Plumbing for future inquiries. Thanks Matt!

Legit.  Mark and his guy came over to fix 5 problems including a clogged dishwasher port, couple of slow drains, a leaky faucet stem, and a shower pressure balancing valve problem.

They were on time.  They got straight to the point.

The great thing is that they thought they needed two parts (1 for shower and 1 for faucet), they were able to diagnose and fix it without having to replace the part.  Score.

They were both super courteous and local SJ folks - they are invested in their company and do not want to risk it due to bad reviews.

Great job and will be hiring them to install a whole house filter (which Mark gave me some really good advice and consulting on which system to go with, what to look for, and good brands to check out.)

Quality company, very quick diagnosis for my furnace issue. They also had part to fix it at the same day. The price was fair and no charge for filter replacement. Highly recommend!

We called Mr. Fix Bay Area to redo our garage. Anar and his team did a great job. They were prompt, on time and also cleaned up very well after the work. Anar is a very reasonable Handyman and easy to talk to. I will definitely call Anar and his team back for any work that I may have in my house in the future.

Matt is amazing --he comes when says he will and does great work with a great attitude and work ethic.  We've worked with him for years.  Highly recommend him.

My house in Spring Lakes  (Scotts Valley, CA ) was not able to pass the PG&E gas pressure test so the gas company turned off my gas service.  Phillip set up an appointment to send out Byron and Enrique.  They were able to quickly find the sources of the gas leaks and give me an estimate to correct the problems.  They had the problem fixed in about 4 hours and restored my gas service and hot water.  They showed up on time and wore shoe covers when ever they needed to enter the house.  The price was very fair for the amount of work that they needed to do.  I would recommend them to any of my friends and neighbors!

Our kitchen faucet started with a drip which over time stopped working altogether. We had no water coming out of the faucet. We sent out a Yelp request pretty late on Sunday night, and got a response from Andrew within minutes. He came over the next day, checked the problem and told us we need a new faucet and gave us a quote for the job. He came the next day and got the new faucet installed with no hassle. Will definitely call them for any future plumbing issues.

Fast, excellent service and very courteous staff. Min went out of his way to ensure our satisfaction, including explaining what he was doing during various stages of the job. Arrived when promised and finished the work in a timely manner.

Ace replaced two gate valves underneath the kitchen sink and charged me $1,500.   I was not happy about that.

The owner contacted and we were able to resolve the issues in an amicable manner.

They fixed it within 15 mins. Price was reasonable.

Julio and his team are extremely competitive in their prices and we are definitely satisfied with the results .  My wife and I had 2 other estimates and theirs were by far the lowest.. but don't confuse this for low quality work.  In an industry where name brand, big companies sub-contract companies like Julio's.. they basically pay Julio's price, and then they gouge their prices to you, the customer, and finesse their product to justify their ridiculous prices.  Julio is a very humble and modest person who's work speaks for itself in volumes!  He was at times a little hard to get a hold of, but this is understandable with the amount of work and different jobs he's handling at once.  However, with a little patience, he will get back to you and answer your questions.  On top of the Re-piping of the house, he replaced our Water Heater, removed and disposed one of our vanities, and was able to accommodate a few miscellaneous requests we had around the house.  He is local and we are proud to support somebody like him.  We wish him and his business the best!

George is amazing! I was quoted an exorbitant fee by another plumbing company. Thank goodness I found George.  He explained the problems and quoted me a reasonable price. He came on a Saturday and did quick an thorough work. I highly recommend George for any plumbing issues you might have.

I called Plumbing Solutions and got their answering machine.  I could have sworn I was still leaving a message when Joel called me back!  He was in the area and stopped by within 5 minutes.  He looked at my two issues and quickly determined they were easy fixes. He gave me a quote but also offered quick instructions since it was a easy fix.  Nice guy, honest and for sure he will be the first guy to call.

Recently Lee and Dakota showed up, wearing virus masks, and took out our old tankless water heater and installed a new commercial one.  They had to work in fairly cramped quarters but never complained and did a very professional installation.  As a former engineer I am a fanatic on high quality parts and labor.  I watched closely as Dakota, the son, did some very intricate soldering and it was perfect.  When they were finished they cleaned up the area completely.  I highly recommend these gentlemen for your plumbing needs.

No need to go into details.  Almost all aspects of home drain stoppage service were excellent, and the cost was fair and reasonable.  Fully satisfied.  Technician, Seth, was highly professional and personable.

Only issue is that calling after-hours to leave a message (or to have requested emergency response) was broken.  Frustrating and might have prevented next-day service appointment. Just needs to be resolved immediately.
