This is our second time using Letts and we'll never go anywhere else! Sheldon is so professional, knowledgeable and truly loves figuring out how to get our plumbing in order! We had him disconnect our kitchen island for a remodel, and we are having him back next month to install some new faucets in our master bath. We couldn't be happier with Letts Plumbing!

Our old water heater died.  These guys came out quickly and thats the best thing I can say.  After that they gave us an estimate of 5K for a new traditional tank hot water heater and 8K for a tankless.  This included removal of a slave 40 gal tank from an old solar hot water system as a slight complication to a normal job.   5K/8K for a new hot water heater.  What made them decide to gouge us I dont know.  That we didn't have Hot water, my wife was home alone,  the extra labor to clean up the old solar hot water mess??????  They were saying it was going to be an all day job for two guys.  seemed outrageous.

Another local company came out and sold us a properly sized tankless unit for our house.  Ripped out all the old stuff and recycled the pipes and installed the new unit and ventilation system.  The main installer did most of it in about 5 hours and then a co-worker showed up at the end to help carry and load the old heater cores.  All the work was neat and tidy.

for slightly more than 3k.  not 8k

Buyer beware.....  These guys wanted to charge 5K over on a 3K job.

Sunday July 28, 2013 (1 star): We choose Tom and Scott based on their yelp reviews. Typically we have great experience with 5 stars businesses. This Friday the team came to our house, got on the roof and within 60 mins said are pipes are open. However within 24 hours our toilet flush restarted flooding the bath tub. We have called Tom and Scott multiple times since Sat with no reply. I hope they come Monday early morning and complete the job.

We had a leak in our bathtub and needed help over a long weekend. Joksan was super responsive and came over same day and did a great job fixing it. Seeing how great a job he did, he has been our go-to plumber, helping us change our faucet and fix up our garbage disposal. Joksan always responds to my texts within minutes and sets clear expectations of what to expect. Reasonable pricing and always polite! Highly recommended!

We had a service line break near our main. Alex C was our technician and did an excellent job, fixing the problem and communicating well throughout.
Barnett is quite expensive, but I needed the job done urgently so I went with them. They were upfront about their charges, and Alex C provided excellent service.

I can't say enough good about Mark and his crew. They are prompt, courteous, professional and fair. They know what they're talking about and do what they are asked to do. I am in the remodeling business and I have seen plenty of people who claim to be plumbers but end up not having the depth of knowledge necessary to solve the problem in the best way. Mark and his crew have that knowledge. And when they don't, they know how to find the answer. I have had Mark work on my own house and rental and I refer him to friends and business associates. And, on top of it all, he was referred to me by one of the most particular contractors I know, which says a lot since this contractor has impeccably high standards. Highly recommended!

I had a sewer backfill with a leaky toilet at 8pm.  The bathroom has flooded to the baseboard.  Called my home warranty company and multiple other companies and no one could come at this time.  I was super relieved to find MTZ Plumbing who was able to sent someone out within the hour.

After the call, the communication was superb. I received text message update on when the the contractor will be out, and Hector called me to give a more accurate ETA of 20 minutes.  

Like many other reviewers, I can't say enough good things about Hector from MTZ.  He's super nice and professional.  Explained everything he did in a friendly and educational way.  He was also very skilled, and resolved all of my issues efficiently;  I had a sewer main backup, offset leaky toilet, and stuck kitchen drain.  He unblocked the mainline and showed me the root intrusion via camera, and recommended me to call the city.  Then he reset the leaking toilet which wasn't installed properly.  Lastly, he unblocked the kitchen sink drain and made sure all the pipe is clean, and double checked there's no leakage.  

Hector even went out of the way to check all three bath room toilets and sinks, and gave recommendations about maintenance and leak prevention. I learned a lot about residential plumbing, city practices, in one night.

I'll definitely be using MTZ plumbing again and recommending them to all my friends.

We had an issue with a kitchen faucet that was leaking water in the cabinet underneath the sink.  Anar came out and got the leak patched up and recommended that we completely replace the facet as he had seen lots of issues in the past with this type of Delta faucet.  He recommended that I replace it with a Moen.  I got the replacement faucet that he returned and installed it in addition to replacing two light switches.  He is very honest and dependable.  We have had him do 3 jobs for us thus far and he does quality work.  I highly recommend him!

Amazing. He was onsite 45 min after I broke my water main digging in the yard and had our water restored less than an hour later. Fast friendly fair price and saved my bacon. I put this number in my favorites. Thanks guys!!

AY EMP did a great job fixing some of my broken switches and installing a neutral wire for a smart switch upgrade. They were happy to work with my home warranty provider and quickly got the job done in a couple of hours.

I would highly recommend their service if you are ever need for electrical work done!

I have never had to call a plumber before, but would definitely call Smart Plumbers & Rooters again if I had to.  Richard, the plumber,  arrived early (imagine that!), was very knowledgeable, and to top it off--extremely courteous and personable. He finished the job quickly and efficiently and I couldn't have been happier with the experience.

Franco is the man! Straight shooter and explained what needs to be done clearly, executes with efficiency, and got the job done really fast. My basement got flooded due to a water leak and my 75 gallon water heater needed to be replaced. Found Ace here and called them. Ace sent Franco and arrived the same morning to check and to provide an estimate for the job. He and his crew immediately went to work as soon as I agreed to the estimate and got it done in a few hours instead of what I thought would take a couple of days. I'm impressed with the professionalism and real happy with the work quality. This crew surely delivered!

Hired Team Contractors to install water softener. Khoa is very responsive and. Ice to work with. I am glad that I find them on Yelp. The first time they came and pointed out that my house is not suitable for salt type water softener, and recommend me to get a filter type, because my main water supply is not in the garage, plus salt water type waste a lot of water. I got another one and they charged me with fair price for installation. Khoa and his colleague are polite, knowledgeable and nice. I Highly recommend them and will for sure use them in the future.

Strongly recommend Julio and his team at All Pro Repipe for value and professional service. I hired them for a copper repipe of my townhouse, both inside the house as well as to the meter. As it was a 2 floor home with no crawlspace, all pipes were behind walls and so it included more than average opening up of sheetrock and so that repair was also a big component. After taking quotes from 6 firms (4 repipe specialists including All Pro, and 2 general plumbers), I decided to go with All Pro cause they were not just comparable to the lowest bids, but they took ownership for the sheet rock repair too. While most others would tell me I have to hire someone else for that portion, Julio gave me an all in price by sub-contracting someone who also did a great job. Juliio was extremely courteous throughout the project, and was flexible to address things such as installing a new faucet I provided, or installing a grounding rod to satisfy the inspector (I suspect most other firms would have said that I would have to pay extra for it). The repiping work was scheduled for 2 days (install new pipes, repair sheetrock) with an inspection after each work. Yes, due to inspection scheduling challenges, and the repair effort taking slightly longer than estimated, there was some extended inconvenience, but when everything else is considered it was not material. It has been 6 months since the job was completed and not a single issue. Hiring All Pro Repipe has been the best decision I have taken for any home repairs ... the five starts dont do justice to recommend them strong enough!

P.S: You might notice that there are not as many yelp reviews as some other Repipe specialists have, but this is cause the firm is relatively newer. I had slight hesitation originally due to this context, but it was inadvertently addressed by one of their top competitors. When one of the larger repipe specialists who has 4 times the reviews and also highly rated, came by to provide me a quote, he saw Julio leaving at that time. He knew his quote would be much higher than Julio's so to rationalize it he said while Julio was a great repipe professional while working for them for many years Julio's firm and team is newer. So, I bet on a professional who decided to start his own firm after gaining years of experience at a top firm in this space, and it paid off.

George is amazing! I was quoted an exorbitant fee by another plumbing company. Thank goodness I found George.  He explained the problems and quoted me a reasonable price. He came on a Saturday and did quick an thorough work. I highly recommend George for any plumbing issues you might have.

I needed a Plumber and was searching on Yelp.. Wanted someone local to Concord and had some good ratings. I saw Plumbing Solution, read the reviews and thought I'd give them a call. I called Joel Diaz 1st thing in the morning.. spoke to him and he said he would have someone here between Noon and 1pm. Joel showed up on time and was polite and seemed like a nice guy to be working with.

I showed him what my problem was and he was able to see and tell me what was needed to fix the problem and that he could start work right away. He did had the parts in his Van, so that was great. He seem knowledable and knew what he was doing without any hesitation to the task at hand.

So we agreed on a price and he started the work right away.

His work was very well done and quick. I was pleased with the results. So I give him a 5 Star rating..

Lee did a great job replacing my water heater.  He was friendly, affordable, and honest.  I'll call him the next time I need work done.

We finally decided we wanted to add air conditioning to our two story house in Palo Alto.  We've used Bellows for many years for some property we have in Santa Cruz and accepted their bid to add AC and to replace our 20 year old furnace.  The 3 - 4 man crew they sent was knowledgeable, professional and efficient.  Retrofitting AC to our 100+ year old house was a little complicated but they knew what was necessary.  They removed the old furnace, cleaned up after their work and even repaired some deteriorating ductwork.
