Best Plumbing Services in California

We now live in Lafayette and the first time we needed a plumber, we used Letts.  They did an outstanding job!

Over the last 20 years living in the Bay Area, we've had too many experiences with Plumbers.  And Letts is our single best experience.

They respond in a timely, professional manner. We've seen one of their plumbers, John, twice. He arrived on time, listened to us to clearly understand what needed to be done, worked fast and efficiently, went out of his way to find exactly the right part replacement for an out of date part ,and finally explained exactly what he had done.

There are probably a lot of competent and good enough plumbers in the area but  if you want absolute confidence, choose Letts and ask for John.

These guys know what they're doing! I was referred by my sister in law and they were able to help me with the problem immediately and with great professionalism. They are honest when it comes to the recommendations and opinions they offer.

Jackson was on time and solved the problem quickly. Spent the time to troubleshoot and provide me a report of the condition of the system. Providing recommendations without any pressure or fear tactics to do more work.

So dig this: The former owner of my house did everything on the cheap! And that, dear yelper, includes the pipes!  Their methodology? If it's the wrong pipe just force it!

My poor piping situation was the cause of a plumbing nightmare...no sink working, no showers, just a mess.

I was familiar with Barnett plumbing as they worked for my business for years. I invited them in and the remedy was a two part job: The pipes under my sink needed to be replaced and the pipes under the house needed them as well. Not fun!

Worse yet, while the plumbing in the kitchen was easy, under the house required several hours and needed a separate time to remedy. What to do?

I am grateful for Barnett Plumbing for several reasons: First, because they did a professional job and their price point was reasonable. But also because my plumbing nightmare got moved up to a high priority. The scheduler called other clients all day to get me a next day service (Did I mention we had no showers either?).  Who does that anymore? And again, the job was not only first rate, it's warrantied!

Had IRBIS team come over to do a diagnostic. Super easy to schedule, reasonable price for come in and quick diagnostic/quick fix on the problem! Tracking system before arrival of technician! Super professional with reasonable price. Already recommended to neighbors!

Above and beyond!!! These guys are amazing.  I contacted a number of  plumbers through Yelp and MTZ was by far the most responsive and service-oriented.  They were timely in both providing a fair quote and scheduling the job in a way that fit with my schedule.  They were the most courteous and polite service providers I've encountered in 10 years of home ownership.  I couldn't be happier with quality of the work done.  Hector even told me that he was thinking about my project while he was at home and came up with several convenient improvements in my design which he then implemented WITH NO EXTRA COST TO ME!  Who else does that?!?!?  I'd like to think that if I had a small business, I would operate it with the same efficiency, courtesy, and quality as MTZ.

I hired Anar from Mr. Fix Bay Area to remove 3 large wood beams from my front courtyard.

After reviewing what I needed, he provided a quick estimate on Yelp and came to work on a Sunday! His work was really high quality and cleaned up after. The price was very fair.

I was so happy with the first project I ended up hiring Anar to repair my stucco side fence that was in bad shape. He patched, build new support (rebar + concrete), and painted the wall after.

I highly recommend Anar for projects around the house whether it's large or small. We'll be using him for future projects.

We first called Matt about sewer problems. We had first called Roto-Rooter who installed a cleanup in the middle of our front lawn. When that failed, we called Matt. He determined that the problem was with the city. He helped me contact the city and arrange for a free repair.

Today I called Matt with three problems, a water heater that was turning off, and repairs to two toilets. All of these he fixed quickly.

Great job Garrison Plumbing team!  Water heater went on the fritz and with three girls in the house we needed a fix fast.  Got ahold of Phil around 8pm and by 2pm the following day we had hot water.

I used Smart Plumbers to replace a kitchen faucet along with replacement of shower tub spout. The experience overall was good...I called and spoke to Mike who was easy to talk to, he had Joel the plumber out the next day to evaluate the work to be done. After seeing what had to be done Joel needed to pick up parts including faucet and came back the next day to complete the work. Joel performed this work in a timely manor and was very thorough.
The pricing was competitive. One thing I will say is if you're installing new fixtures select and purchase them ahead of time.

Many thanks to Phillip S. for repairing the gas leaks in my 95 year old house. This was a life-saving service & Phillip has 30 yrs of experience doing this. Very meticulous & conscientious with his work & clean-up. Also familiar with city inspection requirements. I would recommend him highly to anyone.

We contacted Team Contractors on a Sunday morning because our water heater was leaking badly and we knew it needed to be replaced.  Within a few minutes, Khoa called us back and we made arrangements to have a new water heater installed that afternoon.  Khoa was knowledgeable, courteous and went above and beyond to provide great service at a very fair price.  We would not hesitate to call on Team Contractors for future jobs and we would definitely recommend their services.

We just finished a complete copper repipe of our home and the installation of a new water heater by All Pro Repipe.  They did an outstanding job and even the City Inspector commented they did a thorough job.  They honored all my requests down to the last detail and we could not be more satisfied with the professionalism of Christopher, their work, and the price.  We highly recommend them.

George is one-of-a-kind. I ran into a snag trying to replace a garbage disposal. George picked up right away. He knew right away what the issue was, happened to be in the area, and was at my door within 15 minutes and solved it in minutes. The other guys I called still haven't even called back. I'll definitely be coming back to George for my plumbing needs.

Mike was extremely helpful and knowledgeable.   He was scheduled to arrive late in the afternoon, but called and offered to come by earlier to get the problem fixed promptly.  Then he not only fixed our troublesome faucet but gave us tips on how to better maintain several potential issues in the future.   Two thumbs up!

I echo all the other excellent reviews plus some. Lee was able to come out right away for a drainage problem we were having. He was prompt, polite, honest, reasonable -- couldn't ask for anything more out of a plumber. His son who works with him was also impressive -- very polite and professional. In addition to being an expert at his trade, Lee is a genuinely nice guy. We had a nice conversation about our dogs. :)

Great work installing our new furnace and AC units that we purchased through Lowe's. Our vent system didn't pass the HERS test and Bellows had to send a crew out to seal the vents and get it prepped for retesting. Bellows sent another crew out to do a pre-test before sending the HERS guy back out to make sure it would pass. Nice that they do that, but would have been nice (and saved us time) if they had done that from the get-go. The City inspector is out today to sign off on the permit. Nice that Bellows sent one of their way plumbers to accompany the inspection. Would recommend Bellows.
