Best Plumbing Services in California

We've lived in the bay area for almost 30 years and have had several plumbers and handymen come out to the house. We've used Letts twice now and they are by far the best. They are always on time. They fix the problem quickly and permanently. Very effective for the price. We highly recommend them.

Plumbing backed up. Called and had someone respond in an hour.
Name was Daniel, he was very pleasant and got busy clearing the drain lines, recommends a clean out in the future.

I have been a customer of toms plumbing for at least 20 years and would always have given 5-stars.  My recent experience I downgraded slightly because of their refusal to give me an itemized bill for the parts and labor.  In the past I never felt the need so never asked however this time the bill seemed excessive.  I had hoped for an explanation but received none.  To their benefit, they offered me a 10% reduction and I accepted it but still felt that I had paid too much.  They could have at least separated the parts from labor.

Joksan is knowledgable, professional, and cost is reasonable.  I think I've found my go to plumber.  Thank you Joksan.

Huge thanks to Matt from Barnett Plumbing for correcting our water pressure issues. After listening to my explanation and asking a few questions, he diagnosed the problem as not enough pressure coming through the pipes. He zeroed in on the fix and started making adjustments.

The adjustments did the trick and now we have the optimal water pressure in all faucets and showers throughout the house. He and I did several tests to make sure the pressure did not drop when multiple faucets or showers were turned on simultaneously. Matt took his time and assured me that he wanted to make sure I was happy with the results. I can definitively say the answer is Yes!

He was kind of enough to look into a couple issues with our outdoor hose bibs and suggest how to correct the issues there.

I've had a really great experience with IRBIS. Our AC unit was having some issues and no longer cooled down the house. I messaged many AC repair places, but IRBIS was the quickest to reply with a reasonable quote for inspection and was able send someone within the next few days. I was surprised by their speediness because i understand that this season is extremely busy. Francisco came to do the inspection and offered to repair our units within the same day. Unfortunately, our AC units were not repairable and Vadim came by our house the very next day to re-evaluate our system. I appreciate the efforts of both Francisco and Vadim in trying repairing before recommending that we needed a full replacement. Vadim was very nice and easy to communicate with. He was able to schedule the replacement as soon as the following week. Vadim arrived exactly on time with his team, Thomas and Richardo. They were able to do the full replacement the same day and got our ac running before another heat wave! Everyone here was extremely nice and professional - I would recommend IRBIS HVAC to anyone!

Hector of MTZ plumbing came out on short notice to fix a bathtub drain flange that had rusted some resisting removal.  Somehow in the process the underside flange nut stuck to the flange rather than the drain pipe causing the problem.   Hector quickly crawled right under, removed the flange nut and installed the new flange.  It was a quick fix for him so he didn't even allow me to pay him.    Not sure what else you can ask in a plumber - would definitely call again and highly recommend.  Note that I had called a different plumber who was booked for many days out so they recommended Hector.

Anar is the man!! He replied to my project inquiry (replacing deck boards) within minutes. We met that same day to assess the work. He gave me a VERY reasonable bid and agreed to start and finish it the next day!

The next day he picked up the boards from Home Depot and arrived early with his helper. Later that afternoon he was done! Beautiful work, attention to detail, and fixed the wobbly part. He honored his bid and cleaned up the old materials.

I feel lucky to have found him and will definitely call him again. Nice guy, skilled and hard working. Thanks Anar!

Matt is fabulous.
He's skilled, knowledgeable, professional, and has fair prices. He's done many jobs for me, is very busy, but makes time for emergencies. Besides that, he's kind and caring.

Ace was a total life saver today!  After another plumber made a big mistake yesterday causing a huge leak and a fair amount of water damage, we called Ace on a Sunday morning for help when the original plumber went MIA.  Omar showed up in under an hour, assessed the situation, fixed the problem the other plumber had caused, explained everything as he went along, worked with the clean-up crew who was trying to dry everything out, and charged us a really good price.  In a very stressful situation, Ace and Omar were responsive, helpful, and had great customer service!

We recently had to upgrade the main valve to our house because it was too old and corroded to support new irrigation lines that we were putting in. Khoa responded to my request for a quote right away and showed up the next day to give me an estimate. Khoa was able to answer all my questions, and since his quote was competitive, I decided to give Team Contractors my business. The day of the job, one of the workers and Dan, the other partner, showed up to supervise the work. They were courteous and the work was done right on time. Dan even fixed a leak with a water filtration system that my husband attempted to install unsuccessfully (ha ha). In fairness to my husband, Dan pointed out that one of the adapters was incompatible with our quarter-turn valve.

Overall we were very pleased and will be using Team Contractors the next time we need a plumber!

Julio and his team are extremely competitive in their prices and we are definitely satisfied with the results .  My wife and I had 2 other estimates and theirs were by far the lowest.. but don't confuse this for low quality work.  In an industry where name brand, big companies sub-contract companies like Julio's.. they basically pay Julio's price, and then they gouge their prices to you, the customer, and finesse their product to justify their ridiculous prices.  Julio is a very humble and modest person who's work speaks for itself in volumes!  He was at times a little hard to get a hold of, but this is understandable with the amount of work and different jobs he's handling at once.  However, with a little patience, he will get back to you and answer your questions.  On top of the Re-piping of the house, he replaced our Water Heater, removed and disposed one of our vanities, and was able to accommodate a few miscellaneous requests we had around the house.  He is local and we are proud to support somebody like him.  We wish him and his business the best!

Wow! George is one of the best Plumbers that I've had the pleasure to hire! He made quick work of replacing a corroded copper pipe in my garage, along with suggesting a better way to run my water recirculation device to save energy and $$. While he was at it, he also checked the salt level in my water softener and filled it for me. George provided me with an explanation of his work beforehand, his estimate and was very neat and tidy with his work. And to top it all off he is a polite and positive person who loves his work! I highly recommend George's Plumbing Service.

Joel and his team are the best you can find. We had a sewage line bust under our new (to us) home. We got several estimates. Joel was the most thorough out of all of them, honest and came in well under some of the other bids and did more work than expected. His team stayed 12 hours to finish the job so that my family could have running water. Joel came back on a Saturday morning to make sure everything was working properly and explained everything they would do and did. Great customer service and over-all experience with out over charging us. Timely and trustworthy too. Thank you!!

We called Abco Rooter Service, he responded promptly, gave us a competitive quote, alerted us to possible problem scenarios, arrived on time, and solved our problem. He also stayed and thoroughly checked to make sure the issue was dealt with correctly. He did everything we asked and more.  I would definitely call Lee again.

I purchased a Daikin split A/C system from Bellows way back in 2011. The system had been working great for years until I noticed that one of the units was leaking water inside the house. I called Bellows to schedule service (this was the Friday before July 4th weekend). I was pleasantly surprised to get a call back (from, i think her name was Sophie...) within 30 minutes on a holiday weekend. We scheduled the appointment for the following Tuesday.

During the service visit, our tech Steve, was courteous and proceeded to perform the standard service to clear out the drain hose. This seemed address the problem.

A month later, i noticed similar leakage from the same unit. I called Bellows again to have them take another look at it. They sent out the same tech who was familiar with the previous fix to check it out again. After some investigation, he determined that the drain hose needed to be re-run to achieve the proper slope for effective draining. He proceeded with re-doing the drain path and was done with the work within an hour. During this time, Steve took great care of ensuring that he left the serviced area better than it was when he arrived. He always wore shoe protectors and cleaned the area up great. I'm happy to report that, so far, this fix is working great. I hope for many more years of use out of this system.

1. I got a call back on a holiday weekend within 30 minutes
2. The service tech was always polite and showed up on time (even called prior to showing up)
3. I was happy with the service. Ideally, it would have been nice if the issue was fixed the first time, but I'm still giving 5 stars because when I called back, they responded quickly and gave me a discount for the trouble.

Purchasing an A/C system is a big investment. You want to make sure you get an installer that will stand behind their work past the initial install. I'd recommend Bellows because they will have your back!
