On days you have to call a plumber, you don't usually have occasion to smile or laugh. But if your plumber is knowledgable, experienced, smart, and a delight to work with, then it can turn a sour situation into a decent one. Andy at Lett's Plumbing is like that. He was able to get to the root cause of our issue after a few educated guesses (and it was a puzzle to be sure), and he made the whole scary process much easier to deal with. He's funny and relatable and does not man-splain. He's the best.  Their pricing is reasonable and the results are reliable. Make sure you call Lett's first if you ever need a plumber and you live in the East Bay.

I want to thank Technician Lee for his excellent customer service. It was not easy for him to locate the backup problem with my sewer line, but he he knew the importance of getting the problem resolved because I have a family of five. He stayed until we were able to find the problem and cleared the line.

I called because of a stopped up toilet.  Phillip came out and fixed it for $155.  Two days later I had to call again because the toilet was again not flushing.  This time Frank came out.  He said that there was a crack in toilet and should be replaced.  Huh?  Why wasn't I told this in the first place.  I called today and the receptionist told me she could have the owner call me back.  So far, no call... I won't hold my breath.

Joksan is incredible. I called on a Friday of Memorial Day weekend with an emergency water heater leak and he was at my place assessing it in 30 minutes!

He was responsive, upfront and honest - he made some recommendations to prevent future leaks (like replacing a corroded pipe to the water heater) while replacing our heater. He also improved the connections to the gas at no additional charge.

This is the best experience with a plumber I've ever had.

We've had two broken pipes at our house. Each time, Mark has sent out guys quickly to assess and solve the problem. They gave us options that were economical and secure. When you have a plumbing emergency, you need someone dependable who can get their quickly and solve the problem without costing a fortune. This has been our experience.

Helpful, polite, and seemingly honest plumber. He helped us snake our drain. I received two other quotes for the work. His price was reasonable and he didn't try to upsell me to replace my sewage pipes right away. After the work, he went into my crawl space and gave me a quote if I did decide to replace the sewage line in the future.

Had an exchange of photos and one phone conversation. The call was very confusing and have heard nothing since. I can't rate this business well as I don't even understand what transpired. Some days later, Mr Fix called to follow up just now and have decided to go with someone different. I'm glad he did follow up.

I really appreciate the quick response time. They were able to come out on the same day that I called. Shay/Shane (sorry if that name is a little off, I may have misheard) was very nice, professional, and did an awesome job fixing my problem (I screwed up my water heater thermocouple when I was trying to drain and flush the heater). The rate was perfectly reasonable. I will definitely call these guys again when I need a plumber. Thank you!

Several switches around our house went out at the same time, and we weren't sure what the issue was. Thankfully, Andrew and his partner were responsive and had very fair price compared to others on Yelp. AY EMP diagnosed the problem very quickly, went to get necessary parts, and fixed our electrical problem under two hours. They were efficient, and pleasant to work with. Would definitely recommend and call them for any future issues.

We called Smart Plumbers in and they arrived on time and Richard Ross was the technician that came out. Very courteous, knowledgeable and efficient. I give five star rating to him for explaining in detail what the problem had been and how to stop the problem happening again.  I would recommend this company and especially Richard.   Thanks

I called Monday afternoon and got an appointment for today, Wednesday April 20th at noon to fix a leaking kitchen sink. They called and asked if they could come early which impressed me as they were trying to optimize their plumbers time and my time.  Joe arrived around 11:20 and analyzed the problem being a broken garbage disposal. As the present disposal was 19 years old that made sense. He explained why it needed to be replaced and didn't try to sell me something i didn't need. He was honest, straight forward and quoted a price of $275 to do the job which we agreed to. He left to go get the disposal and returned to do the install. The total time he spent was around 75 minutes from arriving to completing the job including time to go get the disposal. The disposal was around $100 so he charged me $175 for his analysis and completing the job. My experience is you get what you pay for. I paid a fair price (neither inexpensive or outrageously expensive) and feel confident the issue is resolved. As an added bonus, Joe is a nice guy with a sense of humor. I would recommend Ace based on my experience if you want an honest assessment as a fair price

Got a problem with my sewer line. I called Team Contractors , they said they will send out their Technician. Nguyen came about 40 minutes after I called. He then walked around and check all toilets, shower and sinks. He told me his thinks my main line got clogged. My lines are working after an hour with amazing machine he brought. Good work ethic, clean up after work. Highly recommend to friends and others.

Julio and his crew came and knocked out our repipe in one day(minus the backfill which had to be inspected first). We had both our main to entry and inside house re-done. The price was great and done in a reasonable time from when we received the quote. They did an awesome job and I would highly recommend them. They even came back free of charge to relocate a shower valve that needed a custom measurement.

Do you want to be able to trust your plumber? That he gives you an honest appraisal of what the problem is, the options in which it can be fixed, and a price that is fair and reasonable.  This is George, the best plumber I've ever had.
In addition to coming over to assess the reason you called, he will determine any other water leaks or disturbances there are and let you know what they are.

I called plumbing solutions to help me with my tankless water heater in the pool house.  The hot water was coming out rusty since we bought the house 4 years age.  We hardly use the bathroom in the pool house.  I had another plumber out who was going to charge me $750 to solve my problem.

Mike spent the time needed to properly diagnose the problem.  Which was completely different from what the other plumber said.  Basically, I am supposed to service the unit every year.  It has been in the pool house about 12 years and never been serviced.  The rust is coming from inside the unit.  Since its never been serviced there is a good chance that the inside is very rusty and could fall apart if he tries to service it now.  If that happens, i will need a new unit for about $2000.  Since we are not ready to buy a new unit and we hardly use the pool house, we decided to wait until we are ready for a new unit.

He was incredibly professional.  I will call them in the future as they are truly an honest company.

Lee is now my go to plumber.  He just came and snaked my clean out because our pipes were backed up from tree roots.  This was the second time I used his service, first time was two years ago also for tree roots. This time it turns out the tree roots problem is pass our property and actually in the city pipes where it connects to our property.  He told us anytime we have this problem, we should contact the city first so we can save money.  How awesome is that?  He also cleaned up nicely after the job.  He even sanitized the side wall of the house where the snake spattered.

Lee is great at what he does and very knowledgeable.  Many plumbers I contacted through Yelp don't have an hourly rate and they just say it's job/situation dependent.  He charges an hourly rate of $150.00, which is one of the cheapest rates I have found.  I highly recommend his service.

Have been using Bellows for many years.  Paul Boyd is the best.  He's very nice, knows what he is talking about and knows what he's doing.  
You can't go wrong using Paul as a plumber.
