Julio came out to my house to check out a water leak coming from my ceiling in the kitchen area. He was able to diagnose and repair the leak in the same day and set up my Sheetrock appointment for the next day. Julio was very polite, professional and worked quickly to take care of my issue. It was a messy job, but he cleaned up very well. Highly recommend Golden State!

Wilmar was scheduled to come to do a free estimate between 1:00 & 3:00 and never showed up. I called him and he said he would text me, but never did. This plumbing company started off on the wrong foot. If you can't even show up for the estimate how can someone rely on your work!!

After looking around with many companies we finally settled with serv-all. They get the job done and the price is fair. Jason has also been friendly and patient with our questions. Overall good company so we recommend it.

Joseph and Cody (not sure i spelled that right) were able to come by our apartment late last night (around 11:00) to help us with an issue we were having with our washing machine. They were super nice and did their best to resolve the issue...unfortunately they have to come back with more tools, but it was really cool that they came out so late on such short notice and did the best they could with what they had...will write in again when they come back!

For the past 3 years that we've been in our home, we always default to the local plumber who does a fine job.  However, on a recent issue with the new Toto toilet, I received a quote for $600 to fix it.  This just didn't seem right.

My husband suggested we try the plubmer he uses for his business in Gilroy.  At first, I was hesistant to have someone come all the way from San Martin to help us on what I believed to be a basic fix but upon speaking with Brian, he was more than happy to help and do the drive to see what he could do.

(1) First off, Brian was PUNCTUAL - something that normally isn't a virtue with the contractors and plumbers we've used.  Having an infant at home, this was so appreciated and just plain respectful of our time - thank you!

(2) Brian quickly UNDERSTOOD the issue, had the correct parts to fix it in less than an hour.

(3) Brian was RESPECTFUL of our home, making sure to keep clean the area he worked in.

(4) Finally, he charged us a very FAIR PRICE, especially considering his commute - just $200 to complete the work!

In addition, a left over issue from a past job by our former plubmer to fix the kitchen sink still acts up from time to time.  Brian had a look and quickly understood the issue and is going to come again to fix it.

What I appreciate so much is that the team at Sullivan isn't green to plumbing issues.  Clearly, Brian has grown up around the trade and can quickly and effectively address the issues without wasting time and our money.

I wasn't going to write this review thinking that of course mix ups happen. But after receiving exceptional service today from a different plumber. I want to prevent future service seekers from experiencing the same. I was given a time from of 1-2 and the plumber did not show up until 2:20 after I called to cancel. He did a quote and quoted me 65 dollars for parts. He said he can do the repair now in under an hour and then went to Home Depot for parts. Meaning he had no parts available. Home Depot is just across the street and he was gone for 45 minutes. I called the company and was told what he meant to quote me was 130 including parts. The part being flapper and concrete and seal? And chain. I wrote a check for 130 then Justin called me back to say the parts should be 160. At this point it's 4pm and the technician is no where in sight. I said I am not interested. At which point I was told that I had given a verbal agreement and would be sent a bill, I said I didn't appreciate his attitude and he hung up on me. I called back to clarify that I felt badgered to go through with a repair which the quote was inconsistent and the time frame had exceeded the original agreement by well over 3 hours and the technician is no where to be found. He said tech was right outside. I waited outside for another 20 minutes before being called and advised that apparently the tech went home because he was advised that the job was cancelled. So. I followed the instructions online to troubleshoot the toilet. Turns out it needed a fill valve and not concrete or flapper. Another company came and did the repair and they were on time with parts ready to go.  While I am glad Justin and I worked through our differences despite being hung up on. And everyone had bad days. However I really think that it is important for companies to respect our time and keep the quote transparent and consistent. Proper and accurate troubleshooting would go a long way too since plumbing repairs are expwns

I recently had a garbage disposal issue of which I requested quotes on Yelp.  A couple businesses responded, Oakland Rooter & Plumbing was one of the first.

When I chatted with one of their customer service reps, Ygnacio, I described to him that my disposal sounded jammed after pouring some soup down the drain where some of the contents went down and that they weren't any bones, and that my sink would drain but slowly.  He asked me some questions: does the motor still run?, what happens where you press the reset button? Based on what I told he, he thinks that my disposal was jammed and he suggested using an allen wrench to loosen one of the panels which usually fixes the problem. I appreciated the suggestion, but I didn't have any allen wrenches and I'm not too handy.

Ygnacio dispatched Spencer and Samuel to come in a couple days. He gave me their names so I knew who to expect and I told them not to ring the doorbell because it'd freak out my dogs.  The morning of, I got a text from Spencer that they were on their way.

When they got there they were wearing masks and had shoe booties. They were able to diagnosis the problem, after loosening some of the screws there were some large seeds that were jamming the unit (these were seeds from a dried plum that is often used in Chinese soups). After they removed it, the garbage disposal was working again.

I forget how much I was charged but remember that it was definitely less than a new unit, I was a little embarassed for a couple seeds causing so much trouble. Their work has a warranty if there are future problems directly tied to their work, I will make sure no more of those plum seeds end up down my sink. Good work Spencer and Samuel!

I broke some piping during a messed up outdoor spigot replacement project late Monday morning. I texted a photo of the wreckage to Vlad about 11am. He was here by 12pm, and finished by 1:15, including a second spigot that was frozen in place. Fast, friendly, efficient.

Richard ROCKS!  I called him for an estimate on Monday, late afternoon.  He apologized for not being able to come until the next day, and then he fixed both of my plumbing problems that night for such a great price.  I hired him because of the reviews on this site, and would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone.

So glad I tried good guys plumbing with our water heater issue, Adam took care to call GE and also follow up with them as promptly as possible, he made the process is so bearable for client in a messy situation. Highly professional. Will definitely hire them again. can't believe anyone is not satisfied with their service, so I read one of least stars comment and found out that it's technically rated wrong, it should be a five-star if you read the  comments.

Mike is transparent, fair and trustworthy in his under promise over deliver workmanship. He will point out if a competitor is overbidding or incorrectly diagnosing a problem. His team creatively solved a drain mainline issue without having to replace the entire line. Highly recommend but almost don't want to because too many will fill up his calendar :-)

Our water heater went kaput over the weekend. We used Frank's a couple of times in the past few years for far more simpler items with no problems so we decided to use them again. I called right away at 8am, when they opened on Monday, and the guy who answered, Jim, was as friendly and as professional as they come. He gave me the flat, all-inclusive fee that I would expect to pay and he was able to fit me in that day. He then gave me a two-hour window of when to expect the guy to arrive, which he did. They use a plumbing industry brand water heater (Bradford White) that comes with a 6-year warranty. The unit was probably not the cheapest (or the most expensive), but that wasn't what I was going for. What I did get was worry-free, ease-of-mind service which Joel provided. He was awesome. Since our water heater is located inside our house, he took great care not to damage our newly laid out wood floors and tile. They were quick, and cleaned up everything as they went along. Would definitely recommend Frank's for your full-service plumbing needs.

I called them late on a Saturday night just in case They could do an emergency diagnosis.

I changed my kitchen disposal unit and was running into issues with the kitchen faucet pressure. I called and explained the situation and they instructed me what I could do over the phone.

I looked at the kitchen faucet with my new information and was able to find the problem. They saved us a lot of time, money, and anxiety from just a bit of information over the phone for no cost.

For someone so generous, I really appreciate the help they gave and if I run into a serious plumbing issue in the future, I hope I get the pleasure of doing business with them.

Matt installed a gas hookup in my laundry room right before Thanksgiving.  He came at short notice and gave a reasonable price.  He also installed the gas dryer and was very focused throughout.  Didn't waste anytime.  Highly recommend him!!!

I found Oak Plumbing through Yelp and hired them because they're a local company with good reviews.  I hired them to replace the internal components on two toilets. One was starting to leak, so I figured the other would leak soon as the toilets were both installed the same day.  Andrew came out first, and replaced the stuff and also replaced a corroded shut-off valve.  

After having the water back on in the toilet that was leaking, I noticed the leak returned.  I called Oak who sent Matt and Josh out to repair.  They immediately saw one of the flapper valves hadn't been replaced. They had the toilet ship shape in about 1 minute.

I really like the customer service I received.  Everyone was very pleasant. The texting of the picture of your technician so your phone prior to his arrival is pretty slick.

I won't hesitate to use them again in the future.

Stanislov and Dmitri came to check the washing machine inlet valves after Best Buy reported that they were leaking and they wouldn't install the washing machine. It turns out there was nothing wrong with the valves. It was just water pressure pushing water out after tap is closed. They helped install the washing machine as well. Now I need to get my refund from Best Buy.

Thought our tankless water heater replacement would be an easy task but realized we were in way over our heads when reading the guide. Called Simm's  on recommendation & reputation, and they did not disappoint. Elias came to measure and assess the  layout and Eduardo came back to do the job once we had all the necessary supplies. He upgraded everything and we are quite pleased with the results.  As others have already stated, our  experience with staff was that they are all courteous, knowledgeable and professional. We highly recommend and will continue to call Simm's for any future plumbing needs.

No knowledge of fixing hot water heater at all.
We have paid $125 first trip +$200 second trip to 99 Dollars plumbing
But they didn't solve the problem on no hot water coming out.
We end up have it repaired by a handyman who replaced the burner.
The burner was provided by Rheem warranty program.
The handyman we hired said, it should  be easy to read red lights on the control valve which tells you which part may be the problem .
There was No formal invoice
No repair description on the receipt
