Called for a quote. The turnaround was fast. Aaron and his team showed up to address a leak coming front he water heater. I was afraid I might need to replace it but Aaron saw no need, he investigated the leak and alas, water heater is working like new, leak free. Very friendly, timely and overall, honest. Highly recommended.

I found Bullet on Nextdoor with over 180 recommended reviews, I reached out to a number of businesses and I liked the fact that Bullet validated my theory. Essentially agreeing that the root cause of my shower woes may be a faulty mixer cartridge. Trevin ordered a new cartridge (it wasn't available at the hardware store as the part of was end of life. He also called out that the pipes connecting my water heater to the water supply were dangerous and should be replaced -which he did.

When Trevin returned later that week he replaced the cartridge and still no dice. He then checked the valve screws and it turned out they just needed resetting, the shower is better than it's ever been and we've been here for 7 years!

Trevin also stated that the problem may return or may continue to work, I had the option to replace the valve. We agreed for now we'd monitor and if needed he could come back and replace it. I'm a pretty handy person but I draw the line at plumbing so it's great to find a reliable and friendly plumber. Trevin asked after both visits if he could have done anything else to improve his visit - nice touch!

Had a pipe break in our front yard (underground) on July 30. I called a local, well known plumbing company twice and each time was told the person I needed to speak with was not at her desk.  I looked up plumbing services on Yelp, found Midas Plumbing and read that they had excellent reviews. I called and someone was out in less than 45 minutes. The tech finished the repair job in about 3 hours. Very good experience with Midas Plumbing.

Asked for a consultation on a kitchen project (replacing kitchen sink). They replied super fast and dropped by my place an hour later. Brian was super friendly and gave honest, good advice.  Thanks a bunch!

Able dismantled our septic system and hooked us up to the sewage system. It's a big job and they did it quickly and I think at a fair price. Each person I dealt with was very professional.

If I could give more stars, I would! I looked for quotes on my clogged sink fairly late in the day, around 5pm. I had 4 responses, but Shane was the only one who could come that day. He was waiting for someone to pay him before he came to my house. The other customer was quite late with his payment, but he still came to my house. He worked for 2hrs to make sure I had a working sink, even getting up on my roof with a headlamp on because he knew as a teacher I have a fixed schedule and would have a hard time scheduling another appointment. This experience was hands down one of the best service experiences I've ever had! You won't be disappointed!

Leo is the person to go to for all plumbing related Home repairs. I experienced my first water heater failure earlier this year and I needed work done. I called around first looking for quick service at a fair price. I received quotes from others which were way more pricey than expected with long lead times. I couldn't wait. I called Leo for a quote and he quickly provided me with a very fair price along with next morning service! He came and repaired the water heater with no issues and even helped me with a broken faucet issue! I highly recommend working with Leo as he works hard, smart, and for a fair price. Thank you Leo!

UPDATE: I should give credit to the company since they did contact me about my experience and fully compensated for the work other plumber did to fix issues after Mike Counsil work.

I had following experience with this company:

We had a leaking manifold (the shut-off valve with L-shaped pipe that comes from the street to the garage).
Called Mike Counsil to check, when the technician arrived - they said it must be fixed immediately. Since we were without water, I agreed.
They fixed the manifold next day, but insisted on getting $800 permit because they cleared 2 inches of soil around the pipe. Total was $2k after negotiating down from $3k.
Later I called for quotes in a few local companies just to compare. All of them were less than $600.
After further asking my neighbors and around I learned that it's normal practice for Mike Counsil to take advantage of clients in urgent situations even if they claim they go by the book.

But this just a part of the story. Mike Counsil plumbers did not properly clean the new pipes before the turning the main shutoff again. A lot of debris got into the water and clogged the fill valves in both our toilets. Both toilets started leaking.  Furthermore, it broke the electric solenoid in our kitchen faucet (the expensive touch model).

When I called them to fix the problems and they sent technicians they tried to blame it on me. They claimed I had wrong pipes in my house. The right pipes supposed to be all copper.
Eventually, they called their managers and they confirmed that pipes all ok (all copper indeed) and admitted their fault. They cleaned the fill valves and promised to replace the solenoid (which they needed to buy first).

Apparently, they didn't do a good job at the cleaning and both fill valves started leaking again next day. I didn't want to deal with this company anymore and hired good local plumber who just replaced everything in both toilets.

A couple of weeks later a plumber from Mike Counsil showed up and replaced the solenoid.

UPDATE:
Glad to see that the comments are being monitored by the company.
But I stand behind my words.

- The original quote was for $2925. After initial negotiating, it was reduced by $321.86. When I bought up my concern about the permit it was further reduced by $603.14. I have all the docs stating that. Thank you for being accommodating, but it still times more than the average of other quotes.

- Other professional plumbers I contacted did not see the need in a permit.

- I was not in position to get the quotes since the technician came late in the evening and my family was without water. My fault not shopping around but I was not in position to do that.

- About the toilets: the fact is - the toilets did not leak before the Mike Counsil work and started leaking as soon as debris got to the house. I appreciate the effort to rectify your mistakes, but at the end, I had two broken toilets with running water and I didn't want to wait for another Mike Counsil visit to go through the same effort again.

- About the solenoid: thank you for fixing it. But at the end, we had to live with broken solenoid for many days.

One Saturday (always weekends and holidays!) several tenants were experiencing clogged drains, backups of their toilets and showers ... unpleasant.  The backup caused water and 'whatnot' to spew from the pipe connections in the garage, causing some minor flooding ... unpleasant.  This was beyond our handyman's abilities and having used this company for our home, I called and asked them if they took care of multifamily buildings.  No problem ... truly.  Anthony and Izzy were on the scene as soon as they could be and the issues were resolved.  They were quick, efficient and the ultimate professionals - thank you!  We would not hesitate to call them for future needs.

Plumbing connection is the most professional, affordable and dependable plumbing company I have ever worked with!  We had a stoppage and we received the same day service for fixing it with clean out.  In addition given the deteriorated sewer line pipe we also had the clean out to USD's main sewer line.  The lateral sewer line was installed with state of the art trench less method.  No issues on the front yard lawn and no hassles of digging!  Excellent job done by Mr. Khan and his crew!  Highly recommend Mr. Khan for all plumbing needs!

John came out to repair a broken drainage pipe under our sink, and although the job was more involved than originally thought, he did a thorough, meticulous job for a very reasonable price. He was polite, honest, prompt, communicative and I would call him again for any plumbing needs. Highly recommend him!

I had attempted to install a countertop washing machine myself, but it wasn't compatible with my sink. I called Plumbtree  and left a message. Hannah called back about three minutes later and got someone out promptly. Since it wasn't an emergency job time wasn't an urgent priority, and I was surprised at how quickly they sent someone out.

Anthony came out and was extremely friendly, efficient, and helpful. He went back to his truck to get footies to protect my hardwood floor, without me even asking. Anthony identified what sort of installation would work best for my situation and clearly specified exactly what parts he would use and why. He modified the standard dishwasher installation cost to account for the reduced labor needed for the countertop dishwasher compared to a full size unit.

The job required a part that was not immediately on hand in the truck, so Anthony retrieved the part and returned shortly and immediately got to work. Anthony completed the work quickly and triple checked everything during a test run of the dishwasher. I have had no leaks and am very happy with my service.

I was particularly pleased that the cost adjustment for the countertop installation was applied without me asking. Plumbtree was fair, fast, and did excellent work, I will absolutely go to them for any future plumbing needs!

Jeremy is fantastic at finding outside water leaks.  I have used several water leak companies who were unsuccessful in locating the water leak but Jeremy found them in about an hour using his equipment.  Good job!

I work at a apartment complex, I was referred to him by my maintenance man.  Tony has come out to the property several times, and he always gets the work done, right and quick!  His estimates are always that same as the invoices, sometimes a little cheaper which is always nice.  Tony is very professional and you can always count on him to get the work done!  I would recommend him to anyone that needs a plumber!

We had our water heater go out and I got a few folks who called to give us quotes. Henry the owner called and walked me through what the work entailed. Not only did he explain the work but also explained the value of getting it inspected. He was able to get me up to speed with what I should expect from any plumbers who would come out and things required to meet code. This helped gauge if the other companies where doing the right thing or where just doing a quick job. Swapping a water heater can be cheap, but doing it right and getting it up to code is important because I don't want reoccurring issues.

While HR Silicon Valley wasn't the cheapest, they were also not the most expensive. The difference in the level of work was clear though. Henry has a high standard and the fact that getting things up to code + inspection is the start made me feel like they were the right company.

Abel came out and was extremely professional. He was able to show up to the job early which was great. He explained what the course of action was and after agreeing, he got to work. Our setup was particularly difficult but Abel got everything setup and up to code. A few days later he was present to get his work signed off by an inspector. I look forward to calling HR Silicon Valley Plumbers in the future.

Great service. I had some blocked pipes and although they were busy, they could squeeze me in and actually came on time in the late afternoon. Problem was fixed and the guys were friendly.

Brand new Rheem 40gal gas water heater from Home Depot wouldn't light; it is the model that lights the pilot when it needs to heat (pilot isn't on all the time). Had Bernard from Noah's Plumbing (referred by Rheem customer service) come out and he quickly confirmed it was a defective pilot assembly (probably a blockage in the tiny feeder tube). He verified proper operation with a 50gal pilot assembly he had on his truck but didn't have a replacement 40gal unit. After finding out Rheem was out of stock on the 40gal. pilot assembly, I found one in So. Cal. and had it shipped. When it arrived, Bernard picked it up at my office and went over and installed it. Water heater finally fixed. On a positive note, Rheem did reimburse me the cost of the replacement pilot assembly.

Bernard not only knew the Rheem water heater inside and out, I was especially impressed with his troubleshooting skills; fast and efficient. He, without a doubt, saved Rheem from a costly warranty replacement in this case. If you have a Rheem water heater with a problem, don't call anyone else, call Noah's Plumbing and ask for Bernard.
