Avoid this company!! The worst roto rooter company we encountered in our 30 years as home owners! Terrible scheduling - wasted us 2 days, bad attitude, a lot more expensive than advertised !!

John is very helpful and knowledgeable.  He came out onsite and was early.  He called to say he could be there sooner than he originally thought.  I'm so used to service people being late that this was a wonderful surprise.  

He was friendly and obviously very knowledgeable.  When he got the problem fixed - the main drain line at my house was clogged so the wash basin in the garage wasn't draining properly - I asked if he could look at one more thing and he got that resolved too (the air gap on my dishwasher had gotten clogged).

I can't say enough good things about John.  Finding a good plumber is hard enough.  But finding an honest plumber is next to impossible, but John is that guy - the honest plumber.  I hope we don't have any more plumbing issues, but if we do, I already know who I'll call.

Had a 1-4 appt. Window. They called at 4:55 saying the tech was running late and now its 6 and they are closed. Poor communication. Cant say how the service is because I never got any.

First time using Able Plumbing Sewer & Drain and I'm very pleased with their GREAT customer service!!! It was a pleasure working with Sabrina to make my appointment and answer all of my questions since this was the first time needing our septic tank cleaned.  Albert, the plumbing technician was a pleaseure to work with as well.  The guys were efficient and clean with the nasty job :) Albert let us know how to help keep our septic tank cleaner/clogfree by following a few basic rules; one being don't use wipes even when the pkg says it's ok for septic tanks.  I appreciate good interations with people I'm working with and Able Plumbing Sewer & Drain is top notch from the office employees to the field employees.  Thank you Able Plumbing Sewer & Drain as I was a little worried by some of your other Yelp reviews.  FIVE STARS!!!!

Shane came out on super short notice at 3:30pm on a Sunday to help me.  I was trying to install a new kitchen faucet and it felt like the locking nut had been welded to the faucet head. After trying for hours to get the thing pulled apart, I reached out to my sister who asked him to come help.  He showed up 10 minutes later.

His work was art. He used tools I'd never heard of and skills that only a plumber with years of experience dealing with this kind of stuff would know. After about 15 minutes he had removed it!

He was friendly, professional, and did work that I doubt I would have finished if I had all week in just a few short minutes. Incredible. 10/10 would recommend.

Project started with a quote for a gas line extension and then realized we had a gas leak and corroded sewage line. This could have turned into a horrific bad experience, but the MCP team did a great job explaining what needed to happen and always gave us several options for how to resolve the issue at hand.

Ernest was one of the leads on our project and was a fantastic communicator. He always knocked on the door and told us good morning before they got to work.

Each of the technicians on the MCP team paid an unbelievable amount of attention to detail for every part of the project. I only have good things to say about everything they did.

Service, timeliness and fair pricing - 5 stars.  I needed a sewer line snaked and a faucet repaired at one of my rental properties. I called at 8 a.m., and was told they could be there between 10 and 12.  That would have been fine. But only 15 minutes later, they called and said they had someone on the way.  I met James at the property. He was courteous and knowledgeable, and both repairs were done within an hour, and at a reasonable cost compared to many other plumbers.  Most importantly, my client/property owner was very impressed with how fast I was able to get the repairs done (she only emailed me the night before).

BUT....

Record keeping and customer service - ONE star.  $15's policy is upfront payment for first-time customers, which is reasonable enough.  So I paid in cash at their office the same day as the above service, and got a hand-written receipt along with a promise that an invoice would be sent to me.  When December 1 came (when I back-bill my clients for out-of-pocket services), and I still didn't have the invoice, I called... and called, and called... SIX times over three days.  Each time I was promised they would call me back, but no one did.  On the sixth call, I had to threaten legal action to get the invoice (the Business and Professions Code requires any service-related business to provide an itemized invoice on request).

So... if record-keeping isn't an issue for you, by all means, hire these guys.  Otherwise, if you're running a business yourself and need something as simple and basic as an invoice for your records (or just a return call), I'd advise you to look elsewhere.

Nery was super helpful. He quickly assessed the issue and fixed it for a reasonable price.

John came out to repair a broken drainage pipe under our sink, and although the job was more involved than originally thought, he did a thorough, meticulous job for a very reasonable price. He was polite, honest, prompt, communicative and I would call him again for any plumbing needs. Highly recommend him!

They did a nice tuneup to my home, 3 new toilets and even take old ones away, new kitchen faucet, and install all new 1/4 turn shut off, install very fast and leave no mess for me to clean, gave us discount bc my husband is veteran, very happy with services they have helped me with

I can't give Robert and Ramez enough gold stars for their excellent work they just completed on my bathroom. I'm very grateful for their patient and kind guidance they provided me when selecting and installing a new bathtub, shower and toilet. These gentlemen deserve the gold metal of plumbing. Besides being professional and knowledgeable, they were always on-time and their prices were very reasonable as well. I appreciate the great work they did, and highly recommend them to everyone. Quality Plus Plumbing are simply the best.

Water was all over the garage, was it a broken pipe, water heater . . . Tony couldn't come out the same day, but they were early the next.  Installed a new water heater, fair price ( I had some other quotes), problem solved.

Service was excellent...arrived on time and communication was great. Fixed my shower drain in what seemed like seconds. Highly recommended to anyone with plumbing needs!

Having replaced the kitchen faucet a couple of months ago, I guess I'm getting lazy in my old age.  

I set up an appointment to find out why there is no cold water going to the tub/shower faucet that had been replaced in the house we just inherited.

After they failed to for the appointment and never bothered to call, I suspect that they may be the ones that did the original job.

Having been in the building trades as a carpenter for decades, I have done most common plumbing jobs like replace toilets, water heaters, and faucets. They are jobs that anyone with half a brain can figure out. How hard is running a snake to remove a clog?

Seems like the good reviews are all for these types of jobs. I guess a real plumbing job is too much for them to handle.

Bernard fixed our water heater, arrived on time, fixed the problem, handled the warranty repair.  Perfect.
