I'm writing this review in hopes that no one else becomes a victim of davila plumbing company.

We contacted them because of the great reviews on Yelp to install a new toilet. For a plumber that should be a walk in the park right? Not for davila. After installing our new toilet, a couple months later there was a small leak in our kitchen ceiling. We had them come out again in the plumber said it was because of a faulty toilet. So we contacted the toilet company , who sent us a new one and he reinstalled it.

We thought everything was over until a couple weeks ago when I was luckily working from home and all of a sudden splashes of water came pouring down from ours kitchen ceiling. I called other plumbing companies and everyone who came to inspect said that the toilet had been leaking this entire time because it was installed incorrectly. The plumbers who repaired the leak said that the wax seal was not done properly and there should have been two instead of one so there was a big space between the toilet bowl and the pipe, meaning our PEE AND POO WATER was splashing on our kitchen ceiling this whole time and the water that came flooding down was part of it. SO. DISGUSTING.

When we call them back regarding this issue they told us that we are way past the warranty and there's nothing they can do about it. Um, how are we supposed to know the toilet is leaking on our ceiling until there's actual water leaking through? Luckily we have great home insurance and they will be going after davila for the repair cost of thousands of dollars. STILL, IT'S NOT FUN NOT BEING ABLE TO USE OUR KITCHEN FOR A WEEKS AND HAVING TO BE HOME TO LET THE REPAIR PEOPLE IN AND OUT.

Please spare yourself a similar saga and go with different plumbers.

From the time I called, my clogged kitchen sink was repaired in 1 1/2 hours. Great service! David was very personable, and worked quickly to repair my problem. I would highly recommend The Plumbing Guys. Thank you, David.

Danny and Jesse came out to help install my Buoy flow meter and leak detection device. They arrive in the window they prescribed, and assessed the project. Unfortunately they had an emergency to attend to and they were polite and asked if it was ok to help them first. They were in contact the whole time and made sure I knew when to expect them. Their solution was innovative and pragmatic. The work done was excellent, and I've done metalwork in another life before. Danny has the skills. Unfortunately, the part they bought had a pinhole in it and started leaking after installation. Undaunted, Danny and Jesse solved the problem and replaced and rebrazed the piping in 45 min. The main line valve to the city water had some problems when we tried to turn on the water again, but Danny and Jesse figured it out and I have a new Buoy device monitoring my water flow and checking for leaks all over my house.  Big thanks to Danny and Jesse (the Instgram man) for doing a great job, updating my pipes and valves and installing my Buoy device. 5 stars all the way.

I have been fighting a problem with water hammer for quite some time. Called Aptos Plumbing and was visited the next day. Less than two minutes into the call, the problem was diagnosed and fixed! So much for YouTube and the Internet. Take local knowledge and personal service above all. It's worth every cent. This company will be my go-to guys for years to come. Very knowledgeable and honest.

My water heater that was only 2 1/2 years old decided to stop working and we didn't discover it until after dinner when we were going to wash tue dishes... I tried to assess the situation and discovered the pilot wasn't lit. I tried to light the pilot 3 times but wasn't successful. I tried calling out a local Plumber from Union City & he was set on discouraging from fixing my unit and replacing it w/a new one he had for $1750. He said parts were unavailable & to contact the manufacturer for a thermocouple and a control valve... He said he would replace both parts for $750. (I only paid $599 for my Whirlpool unit brand new!) I thanked him for coming to my house and said I would get back to him after talking to the manufacturer... First thing the next morning I call the manufacturer and they tell me my unit is still under warranty and they had Plumbers available to repair my unit. I agreed and got in touch with Plumbing Care! Martin arrived at my house and listened to my description of what happened and also Troubleshoots my unit. Within 2 minutes he diagnoses the problem as a faulty Burner Assembly...not a thermocouple coz my unit didn't have one, it has a thermopile and not the control valve coz it was working fine! Also to my surprise he carried a Burner Assembly on his truck. He informed me that the part was covered under warranty and all I was responsible to pay was $195 for the labor. I was completely floored by Martin's honesty and professionalism! As he was working I told him about what happened the night before with the other Plumber and he didn't bash them at all but simply agreed that maybe they weren't interested or capable of repairing my unit. Needless to say Martin replaced my faulty Burner Assembly, tested the unit 3 times by shutting off the pilot manually and relighting it. He also performed a comprehensive inspection on my unit and checked my water heater for sediment/corrosion. He accomplished all these things in 25 mins!!! Martin will be my Go-To Plumbing Technician from now on!!! He is very knowledgeable, professional and most of all honest!!! Thank you so much Plumbing Care, I really appreciate your work!!!

Wally and his helper were incredible! My grandmother's bathroom was entirely backed up and thanks to Wally's prompt and courteous service, we're back up and running in the same day as the issue arose! The work was thorough, well-done and we were left with full confidence the job was seen through to completion. His pricing was extremely fair and communication was a breeze. Would highly recommend his services again and will be keeping his number handy.

We were moving from electric range to gas and needed a new gas line.

Rene came over to our location for inspection and he provided a quote which was very reasonable compared to the quotes from others. His quote included city permits as well.

His team (Sergio and one other guy) came on an agreed day and finished almost on the same day. They revisited us again once I had my gas range delivered to finish up the final connections and setup.

Overall Magnificent plumbing did an excellent job. They were prompt, fast, very efficient and finished the job clean. In-fact the city inspector who was onsite appreciated their work.

Will definitely consider them for my future needs and recommend them to my friends.

Adam was very professional. He was able to come out on Sunday and fix the issue with our KitchenAid refrigerator. He was very kind and friendly. I am so lucky to have found a great place for appliance repair. Will definitely call Fuse Appliance Repair next time if I need any appliance and HVAC repairs.
I would give 10 out of 10 stars if I could. Outstanding experience!

Marcos and his team were incredible -- they were prompt, quickly located the leak, and managed to get it repaired in the span of an afternoon. Throughout the detection process, he explained what they were investigating and why.

Mike and his guys did several jobs at my house over the last year including a partial repipe, new drains, and some work on gas lines. In each case there was great communication from start to finish, a very fair price, and the work was all top notch. So much so that other contractors that have been to my house commented on how good the work looked.

Best of all Mike and team are good people who you'll want to do business with....Highly recommend!

This was the BEST plumbing experience I've had in my life.  It was Tuesday, and I had been without water since Saturday! My home warranty company sent out the first guy late Tuesday afternoon. He refused to fix my leaking water heater, despite the fact it was STILL LEAKING. I called Rich in tears and he arrived in less than 30 minutes, fixed the issue, and gave me a fair price. He truly saved the day. I will only be using him from now on.

We worked with San Jose Plumbing for our whole home re-pipe project this past summer and we couldn't be happier with the results.  From our initial contact with Adam to obtain a quote we knew he was the guy we wanted to work with.  SJP wasn't the cheapest quote, but our gut instinct told us to not skimp on this and we are so glad we listened.  Adam provided a detailed quote and scope of the project and made sure that our expectations were met.  Although the scope did change for us due to our desired upgrades and ability to find the fixtures we wanted, Adam remained open to our changes and worked with us to update the quote in a very fair manner.  

There isn't much to say about the crew he assigned to our project except, THEY WERE AWESOME!  Israel was our Project Manager and I am so grateful for his expertise and professionalism throughout the process.  He made sure that we were updated on the status throughout the day.  Two things that really stood out were:

1. We have cats and we had to lock them in a side room during the project, which wasn't an issue for us or the cats.  I mentioned that one of them was skittish and we needed to check in on him often to keep him calm with all the noise going on. This prompted his team to really focus the first day on cutting all of the pipes which was the loudest part of the project.  They did so and the rest of the week was relatively quiet.  I really appreciated the awareness and accommodations made for our poor furbabies.  
2. While they were inspecting the pipes, they encountered an issue.  We were told that our water would be hooked up at the end of each day so we could carry on with our lives each evening.  However, since our pipes were extremely old and damaged, this would not be possible for the first evening.  Upon discovery of this, Israel immediately reviewed this with me and involved me in the decision to proceed or not.  I appreciate the involvement, but more importantly valued their immediate honesty with us when they found out they would not be able to honor an agreement they've made.  What's even more impressive, we received a call from Adam that evening to apologize AND the next day they showed up with an extra team member to ensure that we would have at least one fully functional bathroom by the end of the day so we would not have to go another evening without water.  Turned out, they had our whole house up and running by the end of that day.  New tankless water heater and all.  The next couple days were finishing touches and inspection.

We can't thank Adam, Israel, Julio, and the rest of their team enough for giving us a whole new life with strong, clean water.

George is wonderful, careful, precise and does things right.

We had a leak in a pipe joint behind the drywall in our bathroom.  One of the best contractors in the area said we should call George to fix it.  We did and could not be happier.

Since then we have used George for all our plumbing  problems.  
He returns calls to his cell phone within an hour or two (650-303-6965).
He makes time to fix urgent problems.
He works carefully and fixes the problems.

When you need a plumber, call George.

Nick is a South Bay Area gem.  He is a remembrance of time gone by...those originally from this special area (South Bay) remember when work was done with people who felt like your neighbor!?! That's Nick.  He went above and beyond for us in so many ways...he even requested to come to the store with my other half to make sure the selection would work after a 2 hour job turned into a late night 6 hour job.

This guy is the real deal.  He's a talented plumber who at the end of the day doesn't make you feel like it's a corporate exchange.

Very pleased with the service i received from our plumber Edwin. I called about 10 places and found that warranted plumbing was a reasonable price. My mom had a back up in her kitchen sink. When i called they said someone would be out in about 30 min. 20 min later he was there. After fixing the sink fairly quickly i told him we also had an issue with one of our toilets. After deciding to buy a new one he left to go get one and was back quickly. Edwin seemed very knowledgeable and very polite definitely recommend this plumbing company . fast cheap and friendly will definitely be a return customer. Thanks Edwin!

We've been using Steve Davis for years now. He is trustworthy, responsive, and reliable; and he charges reasonable rates. The most recent visit he paid us, he actually taught me how to fix the problem the next time around! Highly recommend Steve for your plumbing services.

Called for help at 9.30am and was promised a 1pm service call.  Frank showed up on time and evaluated the problem.  Credit to Frank for fixing the existing water heater instead of just replacing it and charging the full amount.  Frank saved us $1000 by caring about the situation.

Amazing and above and beyond service! We had a clogged bathroom toilet and sink in danger of  overflowing. Called Vic at 9:30AM, he gave us a 2 hour window 10AM-12PM and arrived exactly at 10:30AM. In this day and age, punctuality is like trying to find a needle in the haystack. Vic figured out the root of the problem very quickly and explain the procedures to us in a clear and concise manner, so we, the laymen, can quickly grasp the situation at hand. Then, he went to work and resolved the problem without much ado. Vic and his team is a rarity and gem in this industry. Highly recommended!

i was very impressed with this company.  We had our entire house re-piped from pex pipes to copper due to many leaks we had with the pex pipes.  Ramiro was very professional and gave us an accurate quote and realistic timeline for the job.  They were excellent and stayed on schedule.  They were also very neat while doing the work (protected floors, etc).  Once the job was complete, they quickly patched up the walls and re-textured perfectly.  The staff were all very professional and polite.  During the process, they offered to change our shower faucets since the walls were opened up, as it would be a good time for that if we wanted it.  We now have new shower faucets and pipes that provide immediate hot water and are thrilled with the work done.  I can't recommend them enough.
