Referred by a neighbor who had his EV charging station installed. I called and left Dave a message, was called back within 15 minutes. Dave had me send him some pictures of the electrical panel and location I wanted charging station installed to start a quote. After reviewing he felt it was best to come out to verify the scope of the job. Contacted him on a Wednesday and he came out the next morning.

We reviewed what I was trying to do and he made recommendations. In the end he recommended  installing dedicated 240 plug, which was the least expensive option.

Installed on Monday. EV is now on a level 2 charge wife is super happy going from 12 hours to 3 hours for a full charge.

Communications is great and timely showing up for appointments.
Would not hesitate to use Dave again.

i have been working with David and his team for upgrades to my home panel and fixtures since 2019. he is courteous and professional and stands by the quality of his work. recently i noticed lights humming in some sconces that were installed a while back. David sent out Eddie who was able to make it right for no charge. i appreciate the follow up and communication, as well as the level of crafstmanship.

Chris fixed an irrigation line that got broken in several places when I had a new fence installed. I thought he was just going to give me a quote, but he made room in his schedule to repair the line that same day. I'll definitely be calling him for more projects.

We had an outdoor sensor light that malfunctioned so we needed to replace it (I try to avoid touching serious things like electricity...).  I went on the Handy app but wasn't happy with the response to my request so I turned to Yelp and found Chris Electrical. Electrician Duraid responded quickly with a number of timing options over that weekend, and even moved it up on the day of install.  He was prompt, efficient and reasonably priced.  Nice man, we would hire him again.

I had a problem with making the proper connections for a 3-way switch in my kitchen remodel. A pair of electricians were at my house in under 2 hours and corrected the issue quickly. Time IS money and it was money well spent.

Anthony was there in my time of need! I attempted to change light switches myself and mixed up wires causing the wires to make a loud popping noise! Anthony was readily available on a Saturday evening and arrived in a timely manner. He was very friendly and even interacted with my pet kitties! One thing that stuck out to me was that after he finished all the work he helped clean up the old light switches, screws, and other debris. I was not expecting this and was very grateful. Would definitely recommend him to anyone! Thanks again!!

My kitchen drain had a backup problem for days.  I bought a few bottles of Drano Max Gel but they won't help.   It took a minute to backup when washing dishes.  We survived it a few days.

I was looking for a reliable service.  I checked places like Driandoctor and Roto-Rooter, but they seem to be remote with 1-800-#s.  There were some bad comments on them on Yelp.  So, I said to myself that I need to find a local service who has community sense of reliability.  I found San Jose Drain and Main.  They have quite a few good comments with most of them from local residents in San Jose.

I called in the morning and got a message reply in an hour.
Made an appointment with Sam between 1-3pm and he and his assistant came on time.
They did a snake drain removal operation and in 15-minute my drain is open.
They showed confidence and knew what to expect in the process.

Our shower only gave hot water so we called Mike.  He asked for the make/model of the fixture and gave us the price before he came out.  So friendly and did great work.  Our shower was working again in no time.   Any time we have plumbing issues we will call Mike.

Professional and proficient. Khoa solved an issue with my bathtub spout in a very clean way. He provided me an accurate quote and solution before coming to my house and he was very responsive & on time.

Main Sewer Line clogged on a holiday weekend (of cource).
Called several of the big name snaking companies. They wouldn't come out the same day, and in all cases wouldn't give an estimate or even a guestimate over the phone.

Local Router & Plumbing answered on the 4th ring, gave a price guess, and was willing to send a person the same day.
Person arrived and snaked like crazy. No luck. Getting dark. Had to quit.
Got text soon thereafter froms a boss or owner (not sure) saying roughly Can we come out later this evening? I am sure we can get it working.

Steve and Duy arrived with their Hydrojet equipment, and very quickly got the pipes flowing again.

Hydrojetting is more expensive than snaking, but in my case it has the advantage of actually working!
Duy than ran a camera down my pipes, and found an astonishing abundance of roots all along the pipe, inluding under the slab floor inside the house. Youch that is bad.

My poor pipe needs major pastic surgery, and Local Rooter & Plumbing will get my business if their bid makes sense and is within eyesight of any lower bidder.

I got 2 cards from Duy. One will be taped to my waterheater, the second will be taped to the inside of the door to my circuit breakers. They are my new go-to people for all things wet and tubular.

I contacted Joe to evaluate and flush my water heater since I was getting rust in my hot water .   He arrived on time and did a great job.   He was friendly and professional throughout the job.   I would use  Joe again for any plumbing jobs.

Supporting an aged relative is always surprising! First the garbage disposal was discovered to be completely locked up, spinning ok but blades frozen. Marlon discussed and showed up on Monday with a new unit. Not bad as I had called him on Friday!
But now we had arrived at the house and discovered the washing machine drain was overflowing and we found out that a rooter company had visited before at astronomical costs and had not fixed the problem for the aged relative. No problem for Marlon who quickly evaluated the issue and provided a quick fix which took care of the overflow for us. His investment in tools to do the job is awesome. Fiber optic cameras to snake down the drain, sani snakes on steroids to clear and remove the trash, and a knowledge of how to use them effectively. Thank you Marlon and thanks to Jose, the Robin to your Batman.
It would be worth moving to San Jose just so he could be on my call list! Oh I should mention that our home is in LA and Marlon has fellow plumbers, trained by him, that are set up in LA.

Alright... check this out... Called these ARP to replace a main shut-off value.  Not only did they have one of the more reasonable quotes, they were able to come out the same day to do the job.

The job required shutting off the water at the street water shut-off, and unfortunately, it wasn't completely apparent which shut-off value was specifically for my home. The box we thought mapped to my home didn't seem to shut the water off, so we spent the next 45 mins hunting and digging around, looking for the correct water service box.

Long story short, we weren't able able to proceed with the project. Either the box we thought was for my house has it's own shutoff issues (likely), or the box is buried somewhere we weren't able to find. None of this was ARP's fault, and I was grateful for their assistance in trying to locate the right box (we tested a number of different boxes).

I'm going to contact the city to identify the correct water service box, and definitely call these guys back to complete the job.

We woke up to a clogged kitchen sink on Mother's Day (2021).  That day didn't start well as not having a sink on such an important day is going to be a huge inconvenience.  I started calling plumbing companies and many were either not open or couldn't come on the same day.

On the verge of giving up, I stumbled upon Local Local Plumbing and I was originally a bit skeptical of the relatively few (but very good) reviews.  Out of desperation, I called anyway and the call was quickly answered by Steve.  I explained the situation to him and to my surprise, he said he could come as soon as noon once he finished his current job.

Steve arrived exactly at noon.  He was courteous and he listened attentively to not just my kitchen sink problem but also my long standing bathroom sink clogs as well.  He said he would take a look at the bathroom issues after he's done with the kitchen.

When Steve came into the house, he took off his shoes without being asked to.  He started working on the kitchen sink immediately and efficiently, and he kept the working area neat and clean.  Unfortunately, after trying two different snakes (25 feet), Steve concluded that the clog was deeper than the snakes were able to reach.  He asked about the availability of the crawl space, and he suggested checking out the pipe from the crawl space to find an alternate solution.

After Steve suited up for the crawl space, he went down and spent about 20 minutes assessing the situation from below.  When he came back up, he identified where the clog was and suggested to cut open that section of the pipe, cleared out the clog, and re-attached the pipe back.  He also offered the option of replacing the cut section with new pipe if the clog was too difficult to clear.  I thought this was going to be very expensive, but Steve gave me a very reasonable price.

After gathering all his equipments and materials, Steve went back into the crawl space again and started working on the new option.  While in the crawl space, he called me and kept me appraised of the progress.  After he was done in about 45 minutes, he stayed in the crawl space and called me again and had me prepare a sink-full of water and flush it down in one go so he can check for leaks.  I was very happy to see water gushing down the drain and no more clog.

When Steve came back up, he went outside the house to take off his now very dusty suit, tidy himself up a bit, and came back into the house to check the bathroom sinks.  He quickly identified the problem - he cleaned the drain stoppage on both sinks, and gave me some advise on how to regularly maintain the sink to minimize future clogs.

And Steve did not even charge for taking care of the bathroom sinks.  I would rate Steve a 6-star!!  In my 30 years of home ownership and being landlord to multiple rental properties, I have never come across a plumber as friendly, patient, respectful, and professional as Steve.  He is now on my quick dial.
