I just bought an old home about a year ago and lucked into finding these guys online. Dave was always right on time and did a thorough analysis of what needed to be done to make the home safe, as well as repair an electrical line of outlets that must not have worked for many years. He also did a super job of upgrading all of the interior outlets. I couldn't have asked for better service for a great price. I recommend them highly. PK in La Mesa

Although I did not end up hiring their services I want to comment how wonderful they are.  I contacted David, the owner, through Yelp and he came to my place and sent me a reasonable estimate by email within 24 hours. Teresa is the best.  She followed up and it was a pleasure to talk to. I will definitely keep their number for the future.

Christopher was great. He was quick to respond and very accommodating with scheduling. His quote to repair a broken kitchen drawer was reasonable and he did excellent work. I'm glad we found him and will happily use his services again in the future. Thank you!

David replied to my message right away and offered us a great rate. He scheduled a time to come out to our home and was right on time. He did the job in under an hour and cleaned up, leaving no trace of the work.

I hired Specialized Creative Power to install a new power outlet in order to hang a TV in my backyard.  The job included cuts in drywall, studs, and stucco, along with the electrical work.   They conducted themselves in a professional manner, were friendly, and charged a fair price.  I would use them again.

Im a plumber in san jose and there is times when i need help from another plumber. I have built a great business relationship with Giovanni. Being that i have been in this line of work for many years, i can gauge another plumbers skill level easily. What a professional! Came to my house after I had been totally scammed by another plumbing company. Was told by other plumber I needed all this work done which could cost so much money which we don't really have right now, I'm glad I at least stopped there and called Handy Rooter. Trieu came to our house, looked at our water main line, and after two minutes assured me I didnt need to do the costly additions the other plumber scared me into thinking I needed. When I was floored and embarrassed, I offered to at least pay him for coming by to which he responded, I don't need to take any of your money. What an ethical professional! I wish I had called him first to deal with my previous issues and won't call anyone else ever again. Highly rec this guy to anyone and everyone!

Khoa (owner) is the Sherlock Holmes in Plumbing and I'm not kidding. Long story short: He saved us tens of thousands of dollars and the troubles and anxiety along with the fixing with his honesty and professionalism.

Here's the long story.
Last year, our sewer was stuck and we called up a company (let's call it company W). The team from company W found some roots in the pipe beneath one of our toilets and they proposed to dig up the concrete and replace the pipe. With no experience in handling plumbing issues, we bought in, thinking it might be the right thing to do given other two consultations gave similar suggestions. Company W dug up all the concrete around the toilet, made the fix and charged us thousands. After the fix, they checked the pipe with a camera and said it looked OK. There might be a tiny bit of root in the later section in the main line pipe but it should be fine to last for quite some years.
This year, we found roots again in the later section. We called up the same company W to inspect. Two guys showed up (M and A, A was part of the team who did the job last year). Without fully pinpointing where the roots came in, M started talking about how serious it was and proposed similar fix as last time: dig up all the concrete along the pipe and replace it. Except this time it would be all the concrete along the pipe and would go across two rooms. He also talked about how contractors would charge us 20-30k if you find some to do the job; but they would try their best to save our foundation structure and the walls. M said he would send the quote next day.
We felt something was fishy. Why didn't they pinpoint where the crack was first before proposing such a destructive plan? And didn't they tell us things would be OK for some years after the fix last year? Then through a friend's referral, we found Capitol Plumbing. Khoa showed up with another plumber in the weekend morning. After hearing detailed description from us, they first spent more than 30min checking the routing of the whole sewer system by running facet water. They had a plan. Then they spent the next 1.5 hours cleaning the roots and further diagnosed where the root entrance was. After they cleaned up everything, Khoa told us how to maintain root free in the sewer. He also told us similar stories about how other plumbing companies exaggerating situations and talking customers into doing much bigger projects than necessary.

Khoa charged us very reasonable price in the end. Most importantly, he saved us all the trauma going through a destructive project.

I would give this company and the technician, David, 5 stars for promptness, professionalism and cleanliness.

We had a nasty main line clog with water backing into the bathtubs. This was at 10pm on Saturday. I found this company on Yelp. They picked up the phone promptly, quoted me on the phone and dispatched a technician right away. The technician, David, arrived some time before 11pm and got to work. He snaked the line almost to 100ft. He also augered a toilet. Both jobs ended up being lot more difficult than predicted, but David did not complain once. I hope we don't have another emergency, but if we do, I will call David again!

Todd's the man. Woke up very early Sunday morning to a leaking bathroom sink pipe that had left a wet mess under the sink.  Called Todd up, and he was here in a couple of hours (still early on a Sunday morning!!!). Had the pipe fixed in a jiffy, and took care of a couple of other minor things while he was at it. Gave us some great advice about how to take care of things like this in the future. As a new home owner getting used to these things, finding someone so reliable, honest, reasonably priced and efficient is awesome. We'll be calling him for all our future plumbing needs.

Good luck getting a confirmed appointment with these bozos. They used every trick in the book to not make a commitment to fixing my plumbing.

Very prompt response!  Easy to work with and appropriate pricing. They worked effectively and worked quickly to resolve my main shut-off valve. I would use them again.

Day before New Year's Eve and my toilet is clogged and overflowing. So gross. I looked on Yelp and found this place. Called and talked to Marlon and he was able to come by within 1-2 hours and fix my issue! He and his employee snaked my toilet and figured out the issue and I was back in business in about 15 mins. So grateful he was able to come by on such short notice, I don't know what I would've done. He charged a very reasonable price of $135 and accepts cash/check. It's a cringey/embarrassing situation and both guys were super friendly and professional, will definitely use these guys again in the future!

Happy with the service and response. Highly professional and timely. I had a clogged sewer drain and the technician took his time to clear it and not rush it. The communication throughout was very streamlined and my questions were answered promptly. Would definitely reach out to them for future plumbing needs.

It looks like we're having the same problem as the other 1 stars. He came out on Thursday to snake the pipes to our kitchen since it was clogged. It was ok for about half a day and was really slow Friday and pretty much clogged Sunday. My wife tried to get a hold of him on Monday but he has not responded and now it's Tuesday he still hasn't responded.
We uncapped the opening so the water is now spewing out to the alley which is better than being clogged.
We are getting another guy to get it unclogged.

We also had a problem with getting a receipt like others. He said he would send it to my wife, but haven't seen it.

Very disapointed.

Our dishwasher leaking that Steve came on time with very reasonable price.  That's the 3rd time we called him and I'm really appreciated his prompted response and excellent work.  I will only call local local plumbing.  Highly recommend this business that you can trust.
