A pipe broke under my house on a weekend. The shut off valve at the street was rusted closed and the crawl space was flooding fast! V.J. Plumbing was the ONLY plumbing service that listed an emergency number. (!) Thank God. (Everyone else said Leave a message, we'll call you back on Monday.) By Monday we would have floated out to sea!

Thankfully VJ's son, Kash, answered our desperate call, arrived with a helper and did a very good job pumping the crawl space out; then fixed the section of broken pipe (while lying on a piece of cardboard amid the mud!) They returned later to replace the worn drainage system. Did a solid job on that too.

They know their stuff, explain options and are are very responsive: A great plumbing family!

Our sink was backed up for over a week I called other plumbing companies and they couldn't come out and help me Josh from Next Gen came out cleared our kitchen sink was very knowledgeable very helpful very quick clean I highly recommend Josh with NextGen heating and air conditioning I will definitely be calling them again for any other issues that they can help with I highly recommend

Overall a great job!  Pablo was able to arrive earlier than I was told and that was good since I had water dripping.  Problem quickly diagnosed and fixed. Very fair price and very professional.

Amazing service.  Found SJ Plumbing on Yelp.  Spoke to Tim on the phone and shared some pictures of our issues.  He came over to access the problem on Tuesday and he scheduled us for our Friday appt.  Tim has excellent knowledge and experience and is extremely thorough.  He got right to work and took care of everything.  SJ Plumbing will for sure be our go too for all of our plumbing needs...

We were replacing our old fan light in our bedroom with a new chandelier.  We needed a new junction box to support the weight of the very heavy chandelier.  Teo's quote was fair and he was responsive, on time, honest, professional and knew his stuff.  He worked diligently, thoughtfully and didn't waste any time.  His work is impeccable and cleaned up everything as well.  Very happy with his work and with him as a person.  We will definitely be adding him to our permanent roster of home vendors and will use him again.

Mike did a plumbing job next door, to the joining condo,  and put the tools through our drywall into our dining room. He admits to doing it but will not fix my drywall as he said he would in the beginning. He has insurance to cover excess damage he causes. I'm still not finished with him yet. He hung up on me.

Responsive, affordable and friendly. Did a thorough job and will have them come back for sure! Glad I made the leap because he's just starting his own company and only had a handful of reviews.

We were replacing our toilet and it turned out whoever installed it previously seriously screwed up the closet flange. Warren White was our plumber, he showed up same day, right on time, and managed to fix the flange with some clever plumbing and install my toilet while he was at it. Even gave me a quote before coming unlike most plumbers.

I was tailgated this morning by someone driving the Rave Plumbing and Rooter van through the Foothill mountains for about 10 miles out of 14 on a slippery road. There were multiple cars in front of me so it was not as though I could go any faster and nor would I have wanted too. In the short moments where the distance increased between myself and the other vehicles this is when the driver tailgated to put pressure on me to stay as close to the other cars as possible. These were the most dangerous areas of the mountains, which is why the distance increased. It was extraordinary to have someone act in this manner. Regardless, when driving on a winding road around mountains in the rain you should be respectful of the vehicles around you and at the speed they feel safe driving at. Tailgating is a form of intimidation. Do you want someone like this in your home?

This is the response I received: Hi I am the owner of the company. If one of the technicians was driving in a way you don't approve of. What does that have to do with you hurting the status of my plumbing company. All you have to do is call and talk to me, and I would of had a talk with my technician. I know who it is because there's only one Tec that lives over the hill. But I find what you're trying do do as mean and  evil and hurtful . Any time you do something out of spitefulness it never a good thing.  I hope I day you learn that helping people is always better than hurting people. I would never want someone like you in my home . That's for sure. Happy holidays.

My response to the owner: The person you should be upset with is your technician. Clearly the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Had you apologized and you yourself behaved in the manner in which you're telling me to I would have taken down the review. First, I don't drive to your employees liking, and now I don't complain about it to your liking and so I am now evil and hurtful? Well you and your tech are nothing more than bullies.

Very responsive and quick to our house where sewage was piling up. We appreciated their humor and good customer service and their pricing was more than fair. They also gave us a warranty if we encountered a clog in the near future. Highly recommend!

Kevin and Paul did a wonderful job  replacing a leaking trap behind our Washing machine... Very quick, courteous... Went out of their way to keep the Dry Wall intact (so my final repair of the Drywall wont be a disaster!)

I have had several jobs in a Venice Duplex.  Kitchen and bath faucets, toilets and water heater repairs. Usually I need an appointment because Cody works for himself and does his own work which means he's pretty busy without sending someone to do the job for him. That is a plus. If I know the parts necessary, I'll get them myself and save Cody a trip to Home Depot. His jobs have always been five stars. The last time I asked for him, he couldn't make it because he was wrapped up in a big building job that pinned him for several weeks. He's that good.  and always reasonable. Some people are just fundamentally honest and not out to soak you with lying and a misdiagnosis of plumbing. Cody is one of those good people that I can always trust.

We used these guys this week for the third time and are still so impressed with not only their knowledge, but their honesty. We had them hydro jet our main sewer line, which we weren't too sure how much it would cost. They explained everything as they went, showed us what was going on and ended up charging us less than they originally told us it might cost. Whether you need something as simple as a clogged toilet taken care of or something more complicated, you can trust these guys to do a great job and to be honest with you!
