We had the best experience with this company! We had a leak in the kitchen ceiling from our upstairs bathtub. We thought it would cost a lot of money to have to open up the ceiling, figure out where it was coming from and fix it. We were so surprised at how reasonably priced the entire experience was. They only charged us about $150 for the whole thing. The guy was so incredibly friendly and helpful and spent a long time trying to get it fixed. Once it appeared to be fixed he went on his way. It turned out to still be leaking a couple days later so we called back and he came back out and figured out what the problem was. He then had to run to the hardware store to buy the part, but got it fixed quick. The best part was he only charged us for the part he bought at the hardware store, he didn't charge us for visiting again or for having to make several trips. He remembered us and our issue immediately and sounded genuinely concerned that he hadn't fixed it the first time. Seriously the best experience we could have hoped for. We will only use this company in the future.

I called SJ plumbing on Thursday around noon. I explained everything that was going on in less than a minute and a half. I asked is this something he can help me with? The person that answered the phone said you know I am holding something really heavy can I call you back in 10 minutes? I said sure. Do you have my number? he said yes of course. I never heard from him again. First off you shouldn't answer the phone if you're holding something heavy and can't help (even though you did long enough to hear my entire problem), second if you can't help with a job after I explain it to you just say no I can't help so I can move onto the next plumber, I waited a little over an hour for a return call. Then I called another company who came out same day. Not a great sign if you can't even return a call.

Teo was a pleasure to work with. My husband and I booked him to install a chandelier for us and a new junction box. After messaging over 10 companies on Yelp, Teo was the most prompt in his replies and the most reasonable in pricing. He also called and explained the process and sent an invoice with all the work that may need to be done in extenuating circumstances. Very professional and timely. We will invite him back to do other work in our home very soon.

The first job was for a completely clogged shower drain. he was able to come out the same day within an hour of going on Angieslist.com and he cleared the drain completely. He even went under the house and checked the pipe for corrosion or any other issues that could cause the pipe to clog again. Michael went above and beyond to make sure I was a satisfied customer and for a reasonable rate too!

The second job was the removal and replacement of two long time leaking stems for the faucets in the shower. I thought it was an issue with one that the screw had broken off of, but after Michael investigated, he called me in to let me know both stems on the hot and cold handles were corroded from years of leaking. He said he could salvage the hot water stem, but I elected to just replace it instead to make sure I don't have to worry about corrosion for a long while. He replaced both quickly and efficiently. He also replaced all of the clear plastic handles with beautiful chrome handle that actually look like they were the original handles in the shower, simply beautiful.

Michael is simply an honest and hard working plumber who does not price gouge, or come up with needless work to do for you. He is incredibly responsive, customer focused, and professional. I will call Michael at AAA Preferred Plumbing Inc. again and again for all my plumbing needs.

Alex was easy to communicated with, via call and texts. We needed a bathtub valve replacement that included doing work in the walls.
He very cleanly cut the drywall, that made it super easy for me to patch it back up.
He kept me updated with his ETA, did the work carefully, asked if we were happy before he wrapped up. Will call again for future needs.

I'm terribly bummed to be giving this kind of review to a business that we relied on for years and years (their original business name was Dr. Plumber) since for 4-5 years ago especially since plumbing service get bad raps. Warren was the originally person who came to our house the first two calls. He was professional, fair and always fixed the problem. But today, it was a different person.

Background: Every year to year and a half, our drains get backed up. I don't remember if the initial visit required plumbing from the roof but he did the job well so that we didn't have to call for another year. The following year, the plumbing needed to be done from the roof because they could not get it fixed directly from the sink. In 2017/18, the person who came out initially tried to fix the back up from the sink but we explained how Warren went to the roof to fix the back up. So this guy did the same and the problem was fixed again. Cost of fixing the back up was always around $150-250 but never more than $300. Fast forward to today....

Listing the reasons for my 1 star review.
-created a problem that was worse than before. The sink was no longer draining at all.
-with multiple attempts of trying to fix the back up they failed. The employee then packed up his equipment.
-originally quoted us $267 but when asking for payment, he told us that he would give us a cost reduction since the problem was not fixed and asked for $199 instead.
-was unprofessional and rude when we informed him that payment will be completed when they send someone else out and fix the back up.
-called their customer service line and that person was also unprofessional and rude.
-the customer service rep that we spoke to on the phone tried to rip us off by stating that we would now be charged $500+ because our plumbing issue required another service and equipment.

I really trusted this company and even referred them to couple of friends over the years. They do charge extra if they have to drive more than a certain mileage out of Culver City but I previously thought that they were worth the cost. Now... not so much.

Professionalism, respect and kindness always goes a long way which this company missed today.

Came same day and installed our bathroom faucet. Saved us a ton of hassle because another plumber we met with inaccurately said we needed to replace our hot water valve because he couldn't turn it. (That meant turning off water for entire building, having to give days of notice first and paying hundreds more!). Rave just turned the hot water valve firmly and shut it off and did the job!  We will definitely use Rave again!  Terrific!

Found about a leak in our bathroom. Looked through Yelp and found A1 Performance. Receptionist was very friendly and set up a call out for a estimate.

Bradley was on time and very professional. Told me that the leak was an easy fix, thank goodness and also gave me an estimate on some more work if I wanted. Honest and professional. Will definitely use A1 in the future and I recommend you do to.

no one wants to call the plumber.  i bet most calls are the result of an emergency and you're just bracing yourself for the damage to your wallet, as well as hoping the damage to your home will revert back to its normal state.

the wife and i had faced two separate incidents of leaking, cheap grade, copper piping (that live in our walls), causing damage to the drywall.  the first time was a week before Thanksgiving; a week before we were expecting family and friends over.  with our saturday morning ruined, we frantically did some research on Angie's List and found Tony's.  grateful they had an employee available to come over right away, our immediate troubles were resolved.

less than a year later, and just a couple feet away from the first pipe burst, another disaster.  this time we noticed the bubbled ceiling and dripping of water on a friday evening.  it was a bit late but i called Tony's, anyway.  well, someone answered the phone!  AND, they would send someone out the very next morning.  thank God.

both times the gentlemen that worked on our home were professional, clean and quick.  they answered all of our questions and gave us advice on when we should patch up the giant, gaping holes in our ceiling, i.e. let the wood beams dry before sealing up the mess.  anyway, if you need an honest plumber w/ reasonable prices, Tony's is the place to call.

Polansky Plumbing is terrific! I called Cody after researching on yelp, when I needed a new garbage disposal and had a leaky kitchen faucet.  He was willing to come by early at 6am (before I had to go to work) to fix it in about a half hour.  He is reasonably priced and very efficient.  He had me text him photos of my old garbage disposal and leaky faucet, so he could bring the appropriate items before arrival.  A few weeks later, I even texted him when I had a clogged bathtub, and he came by the very next morning.  I could not be happier that I found such a nice, reasonable, and competent plumber, and will be using him from now on.

This crew is really as good as it gets. Every time I have called with an emergency (the most recent being an issue with my water heater) they have shown up promptly with same day service. You can't get that everywhere. I really appreciate the promptness, dedication, and effort put into every call. You guys rock!
