Hi, I'm posting this review on behalf of my Mother who's elderly and therefore doesn't really leave reviews. She had such a good experience that it was worth the time! I'm thankful that she decided to go with Good Guys as I have had a great experience as well a few years back when our water main had leaked and needed immediate replacement. Robert C came out right away to assess where the other guys wouldn't. He was pretty busy but had 2 guys come out the very next morning to repair!! Awesome!

From the moment I called Good Guys, I was greeted with a friendly voice. She was very patient and asked about my concerns with a broken toilet that wouldn't flush the waste and I needed immediate help. She instructed me to take a picture of the toilet and the space it was in and send it to her.
At the time i wasn't and asked for the identical toilet to replace the broken one. I was given a quote and appt time for the next morning between 8:30 and 10:30 & the techs name will be J J. He was very prompt by 8:30. In fact, he was even early! Since my son suggested a low water flow toilet I asked J J if the change was ok. He was very polite, courteous, knowledgeable and skillful and was accommodating with the change. He thoroughly explained the job he was performing and left the area very clean.
I LOVE MY NEW TOILET! Good Guys and J J, you have a customer for life!

This is my second 5 stars review to this company. Today I got a new dishwasher installed and the installer told me not to start using it yet until I unclog or replace the trash disposal hose. I called American Plumb Method and Mike was extremely helpful. Apparently the problem was very simple and he didn't even charge me and explained to me how I can fix it myself next time. So professional and trustworthy . Thank you so much.

I've used Henry's services twice based off of recommendations from a neighbor. Both times he was quick to call me back and schedule a same-day appointment, and both times he solved the problem quickly and charged me a fair price.

First appointment was to replace a suddenly leaky shower faucet valve. I got 2 quotes. First guy said he'd need to cut out the drywall in my hallway and replace all of my plumbing in order to fix the valve. I called Valor Plumbing for a second opinion and Henry fixed the problem in 2 hours for 1/10th of the price.

Second appointment was a water heater failure, which he tried to help me troubleshoot on the phone to see if it was something simple, and then came by within an hour to diagnose and determine the control unit needed to be replaced. He found the part and had it replaced within a few hours and had my hot water restored quickly.

Highly recommended!

After more than 20 years of searching for a good plumber, we found VJ & his son, Kash. They were prompt, patient, experienced, cared about doing a good job & honest. We used to dread calling a plumber & never knew if they were taking advantage, Kash demonstrated he would never do unnecessary repairs. Home ownership just got easier w VJ's in our contact list!

I called Nexgen for service on a plumbing issue with my guest bathroom's shower.  Jesse was sent to my house.  He called me in advance, arrived on time, figured out the problem and eventually was able to fix the shower without needing to order any new parts.  I want to thank Jesse for his professional attitude, competence and his willingness to explain what he was doing.  I was very impressed.  I will definitely ask for him if I need to call Nexgen for a plumber in the future.

Another great experience with Barcena. We have a chronic drain problem, and can always count on their team to solve our problem. This time we actually had to have themcome back two days after their initial service visit as the problem was a bit more involved than we first thought. Pablo himself came out on a Sunday to make good on the service, and now everything drains perfectly, saving us a lot of inconvenience and stress. We appreciate and respect that Barcena Plumbing stands behind their work and does what it takes to make it right.

We sometimes have drain issues and called S&J. Their response time was outstanding. We setup a day to have my drains checked but somehow they cleared the next day. I cancelled the appointment until I have an issue again. This review was for their A+ customer service. I'll definitely call them the next time I have a plumbing problem.

Teo was great!! We had a drain that needed to snaked and we had a small leak around our window that needed to be sealed and painted. I called teo and he came out and gave us an estimate and was able to come back the same week to do the work. The shower drain took a lot longer than expected because of a stripped nail that was really hard to take off but teo was persistent and was able to get it off.
He was very kind, honest and professional and didn't charge us any more than his original estimate. I would recommend him to anyone that needs some fixing around their house.

I had a GREAT experience with Michael about 2 months ago.  I called several plumbers, but Michael returned my call right away.  I should have done my review right away because this was 2 months ago and my memory is not good, but what I absolutely remember is that he returned my call fast, did a fabulous job in my 4-plex, unstopping one tenant's kitchen sink AND the sink above her on the 2nd floor; then he changed out the bathtub faucet which was spraying wildly, PLUS after I saw that he did such a good job on those two jobs, I asked him to check the tenant's bathtub faucet across the hall and he once again he came through for me.... he knew EXACTLY what to do right away -- no trying to figure it out.

One of the things that made Michael so special, is that he had all of the parts needed on his truck and didn't have to go to the store and come back, which always runs up to bill .... but ALSO I want to mention that the 2nd tub that he replaced the faucet on, I had hired a different plumber the day before to fix it, but that plumber, who was very nice, but had a hard time trying to figure out how to fix it...  he tried several different things, including going to the kitchen and seeing if he could use the trap door on the other side of the wall to get to the tub ... he finally settled for a repair that was a little better but STILL not working properly.  I paid him anyway, but when Michael from AAA came the next day, he went right to his truck and replaced the faucet in MINUTES.  Everything that I asked him to do, he did promptly and expertly AND TOP IT OFF WITH VERY VERY reasonable price.

Again last week I needed an emergency repair with another tenant who had a problem on a early Saturday afternoon.  Michael called me back within minutes after he got off the freeway and apologized that he couldn't get to me until probably after 7 p.m. because he was on his way to a wedding.  HOW CONSIDERATE IS THAT ... WOW! I didn't want him to rush his family outing so I wished him well and called another plumber who was able to come through for me.

Michael, at AAA PREFERRED PLUMBING is definitely a keeper ... and his lovely son was so nice to pitch in and help with the roto-rooting and final cleanup while Michael was working on the next job upstairs..... I LOVE to see family working together building skills for the next generation coming up.  You will love this company .... (my reviews are usually 5-star or 1-star because I'm a little picky and don't like to give a bad review to someone, thinking maybe I am too picky -- so I usually only review the EXCEPTIONALLY GOOD or the real scammers,' and prefer to give the others the benefit of the doubt.

Excellent service from setting up free estimate to completion of job they were in constant contact. Job was performed quickly and looks great. Competitive pricing and appreciate the discount they offer to veterans.  Would use again and recommend without hesitation.

After going through so many plumbing issues in the house i had for over 33 years, I have to say that my plumbing doctor is by far the most incredible plumbing company ever! Not only is Warren efficient, professional, and knowledgeable but he knows what he is doing and gets the job done in a timely manner and so clean as well! It's like having a wonderful family member that knows Plumbing coming to your house to fix your issues! Truly I cannot recommend him more! I will never use another plumber again!

Didn't use them as they would not give an estimate without coming to the house for a consultation even though I knew I needed a new water heater and knew the size and make and Rave would not give an estimate while three others did.

Service Technician Harry Thomas just left; he showed up early, knew his stuff and got the job done in no time! All for a REASONABLE PRICE! How refreshing to deal with someone who is knowledgeable and courteous! I'll be recommending A-1 to anyone who needs plumbing help. Thanks, A-1 and Thanks, Harry!

The plumber was supposed to arrive at my place between 10 am and 12 pm.  That means I made myself available from 10 am.  So I wanted 2 hrs.  He arrives at 12:07. No apology.  As I opened the door, I told him hi, you're late.  He said only 2 minutes.  I corrected him no, it's 12:07 now.  Your arrival was scheduled between 10 and 12.  I'm having a telephone meeting and can't have you around.  He left.   He could have given me a call beforehand telling me he was running late.  Or he could have said sorry I was late.  I just can't deal with people who's late and doesn't think it's a big deal.  Time is valuable. Let's respect each other's time.

Cody is knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. I had him over today to snake a tub, install a tub faucet, and replace a push button diverter. Snaking a tub is both art and science; he succeeded where I failed. He charges $95 for this work. Given the gashes on my hands from my failed attempt to snake the drain myself, he's worth every cent.

Cody was able to custom solder a pipe fitting for my faucet in his nifty new van - so now the faucet looks beautiful!

It turned out we had the wrong push diverter part, so Cody tried to fix the existing push button diverter by using plumbers lube. That failed, so he taught me how to use the plumbers wrenches my family purchased so I can install the proper diverter later, and skip the expense of a return trip.

Cody has 20 years of experience, including work on installing plumbing in new construction, but now focuses his work on repairs and helping homeowners. I found his prices fair. He lets you pay him via Venmo. He was wonderful around my toddler son, who wanted to watch him work. I will be recommending him to all of my friends.

These guys were great!  I had a tough kitchen sink clog that was far down the pipe from my sink and they were really responsive in working on it.  They were extremely professional and I think they did an excellent job.  I would recommend them highly and will use them again.
