We got bit pretty hard by the recent deluge of rain this year.
A hillside drain got hit by a mudslide which diverted the ravine runoff into our backyard, overcoming the yard drains & flooding the back end of our house! Desperate to get the hillside drain cleared before the next storm came in I ended up calling The Drain Co. & Tony came out the same day.
He understood immediately the need to get it cleared & had his crew come out the next day to clear the drain only to find out that part of the drain line had collapsed so his crew dug up a 5' section & replaced it out to complete clearing the line.
Thru out this whole process Tony was great to deal with.
He even adjusted his bid downward because he felt that an additional hydro-jetting was not necessary.
This is the type of house service company I appreciate doing business with.
I wholeheartedly recommend My Drain Co. !

Our kitchen sink clogged and our usual plumber was in the wind, leaving us doing dishes in a bathroom sink! A friend recommended Tony; I gave him a call and he was able to come later that day. Within an hour he had fixed the drain and replaced a part that was missing under the sink (that I think my old plumber hadn't installed!), AND he replaced the wax seal under our toilet, which had been leaking since we moved in.

I work from home and I've had a lot of professionals come in and talk down to me, try and up-sell me on something I don't want, or not really listen to the problem. Tony is so kind, so courteous. He really listened to what was going on, gave me his quote, then had all the parts we needed replaced right there in his van! He worked so quickly, was open to friendly conversation but let me get back to work. When everything was finished, he walked me through the changes and had me try everything myself to make sure it worked properly. The next day, he texted to follow-up and make sure everything was still working; I've never once had anyone do that before. I truly felt like I could update him if something wasn't working and he'd come and fix it. But everything works like a dream.

As he left, he said he'd be happy to be my backup plumber, but I told him: you're our plumber now!

Unfortunately I got this company's recommendation from Yelp. They responded quickly. I had a leak in my pipe under the kitchen sink. Their solution was to hold the pipe up using a can of corn. Needless to say, it didn't hold up and they had to come out again. They charged me almost $500 but I was the one giving them the corn. Very shoddy and bad experience. Took me a while to write this review.

Kitchen sink backed up and I spent 4 hours snaking the line with no luck. I was desperate and started calling high yelp scoring plumbers.
Some said they would come in a two hour window only to cancel. Some didn't work after 5pm.

Tony with MyDrain was the best! I had a clogged kitchen sink that I was looking to get fixed ASAP because I was heading out of town. I called about 10 places and left voicemails or was told a tech would need to call me back. MyDrain was one of the only ones who called back very quickly and said they could be there within the hour.

He quoted me a ballpark price over the phone which at first I thought was a little high compared to the $59 ads I was seeing elsewhere but he explained those teaser rates advertised elsewhere didn't apply for condos (which I am in) because condos typically don't have an outside cleanout so there is more work involved. And after speaking to another company offering a $63 special (which they didn't mention didn't apply to condos until I asked), I found Tony to be absolutely correct and not just trying to up-sell or BS me.

In the short time it took him to arrive I had luckily managed to DIY the problem myself and unclog the sink. I called to cancel my appointment but he had just arrived, so he offered to come check it out anyways just to make sure it really was fixed, which it was.

Tony was responsive, honest, and professional. Would absolutely recommend and will be using for any of my future plumbing issues.

Excellent service today from Tony at My Drain Company, for a whole house drainage clog caused by tree roots. Tony and My Drain company was recommended to us and we are so glad they were. We had some issues in our new house with one shower and the washing machine. We initially had a chain plumbing company come out and they were not helpful and quoted thousands of dollars worth of items just to try and find the problem. I then called My Drain Company. Tony was great and texted back the same day with availability. He came out and was able to find the issue within just a few minutes of being at our house. My Drain Company is my new go-to plumbing company. Tony was wonderful- responsive, to the point, honest, knowledgeable, skilled, and professional. He showed up on time, communicated well, and--most importantly-- got the job done.

Before Tony, I called another company about a leak I noticed in the front of my house. The company wanted $700+ to run a bunch of tests (helium?)... and fixing it would be extra, or something they didn't do. Ridiculous.

Another guy came by and thought something else was wrong. Not only did he NOT fix the issue, he made it worse.

Tony came by and identified the issue on sight.

Anyway, learned my lesson. Next time, call Tony. Great service, very reasonable prices, and your problem will be fixed.

I've had problems in the past and I've been ripped off by other , very popular and heavily advertised plumbers, in the past. I called My Drain and Tony scheduled me for the same day. He took a look, got to work immediately, and had it resolved very quickly. He was very polite and asked appropriate questions to fully understand the situation. When he fixed the problem, he had me check his work, he kept things clean in my bathrooms, and outside at the cleanout. He had me check each toilet, down the mainline path, three times to be certain everything was working properly, and then... he checked in the next day to be certain everything was still working properly (which it is). That is amazing service and conscientiousness. I hope I do not need them again, but guaranteed, if I do, I'm calling My Drain and asking for Tony.

We have been using Tony for the past few years of living in our condo. Throughout the years, dealing with various leaks and repairs, he has always been incredibly responsive, reliable, and skilled at his trade. Recently, he helped us with a complicated situation with a washer and dryer installation. He took the time out of his day to help us interpret the issues being brought up by the appliance installation technicians, and came back a second time to help us revise a valve. Our sewer drain was backing up, and snaking was becoming increasingly less effective. So I looked for a well-reviewed company on Yelp. That's where I found My Drain Company; I was impressed by the detailed and positive reviews. I called, and Tony was able to come to our house that very day. His sewer camera revealed a serious blockage in the sewer line under the decomposed granite in our front yard, approximately 25 feet from the main city sewer line. Without any kind of hard sell, he presented three possible courses of action, including doing nothing. We chose to have his team come out the next day and replace the damaged portion of the sewer line. They dug a trench and removed a four-foot section of old clay pipe that was cracked open and filled with densely packed debris. I couldn't believe how bad it was! They then replaced the damaged and clogged pipe with brand new ABS plastic pipe. Problem solved! Just 24 hours after my initial call, our sewer line was flowing smoothly. The next day, they filled in the trench and returned our front yard back to its previous appearance. The work was so seamless, you'd never know that anything had been done! In conclusion, based on my experience, these are the guys to call if you have a sewage line blockage.

My Drain Company is our go-to plumber for all our home plumbing needs. They are responsive, on time, clean and polite always. Just yesterday we had a pipe burst in our front yard and we called Tony freaking out. He was at our house in three hours, found the part of the pipe that burst, and quickly replaced it. The cost for the service was totally fair and he even cleaned up the giant hole that he had to dig in our lawn to find the pipe. Afterwards, you couldn't even tell he had been there!

We hired them to inspect plumbing before we bought the house and paid around $450. Their estimate to repair a small segment of a broken pipe was very expensive let alone to have a riser installed so we have to look for another plumber. We paid additional $100 to re-inspect what was supposed to be replaced (by different plumbing co.)but didn't give us video and when we asked for it the guy was a little bit rude.

I supervised construction of a Malibu beach house that was on the cover of Architectural Digest in May 1990. Over the years I have worked with a lot of good plumbers. Recently, I met another plumber in the Valley whose company ripped-off the owner with bad work, wrong materials and an employee stole a hand truck while messing up a water heater install after I saw the poor work that company did. I know the difference between good work and bad work.

So I called My Drain. Tony and his crew do good work. I recommend My Drain anytime.

My Drain has been really good to work with for drain issues, repairs and replacements at a job off Mulholland above Encino. With the complications of COVID 19 My Drain did exactly what we needed. We used Tony and his crew three times. We had a couple small issues at first and two major drain and waste pipe replacements. The main line from sidewalk to City sewer hook-up was ready to collapse needing an inserted lining to do the fix. Fortunately, Tony caught it before we needed to dig up the street. The front patio area drains were unable to be cleared as owner of home did not do tree root maintenance. It would have been less expensive to get My Drain to do annual rooting. Tony figured out how to do the drain pipe replacement with minimal damage to saltillo tile patio. Some people may think prices might be high. However, Tony and his crew are professional, timely and courteous. Communication was clear. The crew cleans up after work well. You want to get this kind of work done correctly. There was no question as we got charged for great service and proper capability. Tony is committed to his work, building his business and treating people decently. I worked in construction industry a long time. My Drain is a good company.

I am a huge DIY person and I'm not ever thrilled about calling in a professional--especially as a woman; I don't always get the great quotes. On this particular instance, I had a water leak that could be adjusted by LADWP if professionally repaired. First, I greatly appreciated Tony working with me to schedule the estimate through this app rather than that insisting I call on the phone. I was not in a position to call at that time.

Philip came out at the appointed time and did a thorough investigation of the situation and discussed possible options. All quotes were very reasonable for the jobs suggested, and once we discussed what I could do to prepare the site, he dropped the price even more. Unfortunately, I had to get DWP involved before any work could be done so I was not able to use Philip's services at that time.

In the end, I went a different direction but will definitely keep their number and give a call for the great number of projects that I have when I run into something a little bit more than my DIY knowledge can do!!

To have a good experience with a plumber is hard.. from getting an estimate, scheduling to the actual finished work, it's not easy. With Tony, he made it simple and satisfying experience for us. He was straightforward with giving us a range of estimate with just from looking at pictures, I was able to send some pictures via texts and no sign of trying to rip you off, and he practiced Covid safety wearing mask when we spoke which made me very comfortable even though the job was done from outside. He didn't go above the estimate and the job itself was quick, clean and good quality.

I mean... this company does customer service RIGHT. I'm seriously considering canceling my American Home Shield warranty b/c I want to spend my money on competence. I'd rather call someone like My Drain Company to fix stuff within 24 hours, with extreme professionalism and courtesy, than wait around for a non-dependable company to provide half-ass service. Long story short, my water heater was gushing water, I decided not to wait around for AHS's 1-star plumbing contractor to call me back (which they never did btw), and called MDC. I was contacted within a few hours and a tech was sent out the next morning. Super nice, premium service. Wouldn't hesitate a moment to call them again. Great job, guys!

It's very difficult to hire someone because your biggest concerns are - price and quality of work. All I can say is - Tony is an honest and hardworking guy.

I needed to install an air gap valve in my kitchen sink. It wasn't a job that required actual repair. It was a simple installation. Some places gave honest and fair prices, while others quoted an alarmingly high cost.

My home inspector advised this was a job that should only take 20-30 min for $80-100. However, given the economy today, he said it would be difficult to find a plumber for under $100.

This was a COMMON TREND I saw. Plumbers quoting less than $200 estimated 30 min - 60 min. Plumbers quoting more than $200 estimated 45 min - 60/90 min. (My assumption is that a longer job justifies a higher cost because it's such a difficult job, right?) If someone is charging me $125 while the other is charging $250, I can't imagine what other costs would be like.

I hope this would be a nice guideline in helping you find your next plumber! To be fair, I am not writing any reviews for other plumbers because I did not use their service. My intention is not to discredit or attack any particular small business.

One last thing.
It's very likely that you can experience a situation like this:
COMPANY A will charge you $100 for JOB 1 and $300 for JOB 2.
COMPANY B will charge you $200 for JOB 1 and $275 for JOB 2.
Essentially, my point is you need to do your own research for every work you inquire. I'm not saying Tony will always be cheaper, but Tony should be your first stop for every job!

I managed to clog my kitchen sink, due to a cooking malfunction during quarantine that involved a lot of pasta going down the drain. Called My Drain Co late Tuesday night and was schedule for a time slot the next day. Tony arrived on time, unclogged the drain, and ensured there were no leaks under the sink. After being treated terribly by my Home Owners Warranty company and the shady plumbing company they're contracted with, I found My Drain Company on Yelp. Now usually I'm a bit skeptical with most Yelp reviews because I know often times businesses get their friends and family to write up bogus reviews, but Tony was the real deal. Sure they weren't covered by my warranty company but after being given the run around for an entire week without a working sink in the restroom, I had to bite the bullet and and take matters in my own hands. Tony was very responded, professional and courteous. He's fees were fair and the quality of work and cleanliness more than I could have expected. I will definitely be switching Home Warranty Companies and unfortunately My Drain Company doesn't work with any of them but if you find yourself in a bind, give them a call. Tony was quickly able to identify that he would not be able to provide the service we needed - not because of him but because we didn't have the necessary access to the drain we needed repaired. Nonetheless, he still brainstormed ideas with me and ultimately offered advice from his own experience. We took his advice and I'm happy to say that our drain is fixed - without a visit from the plumber! I appreciated Tony's honesty and his time, which ultimately saved me both time and money. My Drain Company repaired the sewer main line for my house and saved me over $10,000 compared to the estimate I had received from the first plumbing company I called. When my main line backed up, the first plumber I called concluded that they would most likely need to dig up the street and replace the 6 clay pipe from my property to the city line, which would have been an extremely expensive repair. Tony came over to give me a second opinion, and concluded that he could fix the main line without having to dig up the city street. His team then came over and did the repair in two days. They were very professional and did a great job including on clean up. The main line is now completely fixed with a new epoxy liner and I saved a huge amount of money, time, and headaches. I have had two wonderful experiences with My Drain Company. The first one was a couple of months ago when the owner Tony, was invited to resolve a 6 year nagging and serious water leak in our garage. He brought a very experienced team to our 10 unit condo. I have construction experience and watched them with a critical eye. They found the problem, their proposal was fair and the work was done quickly, and they left our property cleaner than when they arrived. So I hired them yesterday for a complicated irrigation project. Their price was fair and the results were better than I imagined. Three people worked until after dark and did all I asked and more! I highly recommend My Drain Company!!

Really great service! We had a clogged pipe in our septic system that caused a backup. I received a call back within 10 minutes. They came out the same day to inspect and diagnose the problem. They were able to schedule excavation and replacement of the pipe and pumping of the septic tank for the next morning. I called My Drain Company because of slow drain in two bath tubs. Also Yelp reviews were excellent. I got quick response from Tony P. His team inspected the waste pipe line and found out the pipe was cracked and damaged. The pipe was 80 yrs old. He suggested replacing the pipes under the house. I struggled with what to rate and what to write. I should start by saying we never actually had the work done. The beginning process was great, it was easy to get someone to come over to gather information for a quote. Tony came by, was very nice and thorough in explaining to me everything that had to be done to fix the flooding issues in my yard.

After that, I had to chase them down with emails and phone calls to find out why a month had passed and I had never gotten the promised quote. I was told that the inspection notes had been left in a car that was in the shop and could not be retrieved (?), but was promised a call back by the end of the week. That was over two weeks ago, and my recent call and voicemail to them has yet to be answered. I hate that writing a negative review is the only way to get some companies to respond to, but it seems to work.

I had a persistent problem where my toilet was getting clogged every couple of months and we'd have to snake the line. I decided to get a plumber to come out to see if there was an underlying cause to the issue. The day of, he gave me a call to confirm our appointment and to give me an updated timeframe of when he would get to the house. Tony used his camera through the line and was able to identify the root cause within 15 minutes. He showed me the camera output so that I could see the problem with my own eyes.

I really liked the fact that he was very calm and patient and did a great job in explaining a) how plumbing works, b) what was wrong, c) what we needed to do to fix it.

I have used My Drain Company twice now. Once when a hot cold water controller in my bathroom stopped working. Philip was sent to inspect it and took care of it in a timely manner at a reasonable price. He also explained the issue and why the part needed replacement.
The second time actually Philip came over to check what I thought was a leak under my kitchen sink. He Checked the valve underneath my sink and told me it was working fine.
What I really appreciate is that not only they know what needs to be worked on and how to fix an issue, but they are also honest enough to tell you something doesn't need to be fixed. They won't unnecessarily charge you if things are working fine, when some other folks might! They are trustworthy folks who can be relied upon.

This is an amazing family-owned company and just like the great ones you remember from long ago with values and honesty and a good work ethic! Had a horrible stench under my house and call My Drain Co to come out after my home warranty company denied fixing it. Tony promptly came out, went down under and saw what a wet nasty mess I had under my house due to the broken kitchen drain pipe. Tony came out to my house to evaluate my clogged bathroom sink. Initially he wasn't sure what was wrong so he offered to come back the following day with a camera. So he shows up with another guy, they look under the house & tell me they need to cut & replace a pipe, they can stay & do it that day & it will cost $1800.00. I was a little shocked by the price so I no that I would call them back. I got another estimate from a local plumber who fixed it on the spot (no camera needed) for $200.00 What a scam! I recently moved into a house that was newly renovated from top to bottom... or so it seemed. After a few weeks in we started to notice a hint of sewage smell so decided to contact Tony at My Drain based on the overwhelmingly positive Yelp reviews. After some exploration it was discovered that the drainage line to one of the bathrooms was not connected to anything and was just spilling waste into the crawl space. Furthermore, the rest of the sewage lines to this seemingly brand new house were old and in a severe state of disrepair. It was not easy news to deliver that everything needed to be replaced, nor was it an easy job dealing with the tight confines of the crawl space, but Tony and his crew were amazing throughout the entire process. I've dealt with some horrible contractors in the past, so it was a breath of fresh air to have someone so professional and thorough help us through this disaster.

Wow! Tony and his team are some of the most professional people I have worked with. From the estimate to finishing the job, they consistently impressed me. I am far beyond impressed with the professionalism, affordability, and workmanship of My Drain Company! It's so nice to experience service that inspires one to write a beaming yelp review, so i definitely want to thank My Drain Company for allowing us this opportunity.

Let me start by saying that the only bathroom in our rented basement apartment has been in disrepair since October 2014. Unfortunately for us, the owner of the home's concerns do not include actually fixing anything in our place. She has berated us almost daily regarding the effect the issues have on her water bill. So, In December '14 we paid HER handyman $100 to fix our toilet, but it was constantly running again in 2 weeks.

Enter the hero of our story: My Drain Company. I submitted a request for an estimate on their website at 6:26pm Tuesday evening and my phone rang less than 10 minutes later. The caller introduced himself as MDC and told me he could come as soon as tomorrow to take a look and give us an estimate, free of charge. Right on schedule, my phone rang Wednesday at 1pm, and Tony came up to check out the problem.

He demonstrated his integrity when he told us our new ikea sink would be more affordable and most likely just as proficiently done by a handyman and not a plumber, but also said if we insisted he could and would do the job. For the toilet though, he explained what the problem was, switched something out, replaced the handle (that had been broken off for about a month or 2) and finished all of it in no time at all!

It cost us $95 but I would have happily paid him far more than that given his professionalism, timeliness, and competence. Though we took his advice about the sink, we will not hesitate to call MDC back for any future plumbing needs- and will absolutely be recommending this stand up guy.

My only regret is not having found My Drain Company months earlier than we did! Thank you SO much for helping us, we appreciate it more than you know!

Now we just have to wait and see what the homeowner will find to complain about next!

So I have been the property manager for a client on their Sherman Oaks property for a few years now. Our galvanized pipes burst underneath our guesthouse. Many plumbers would try to jack up costs by saying everything would need to be redone in copper pipes but not Tony. He gave me a very reasonable quote to add a clamp. There was so much water underneath our house he had to come back days later after the pool of water had dried up a bit. Without charging any additional costs he had an additional clamp for safekeeping and then spent a considerable amount of time checking all the showers and faucets to ensure everything was running properly. He also taught me how to turn our hot water heater off and on and gave me good advice about how often it should be flushed.

But here's the real kicker that has earned our loyalty for years to come! He voluntarily charged me $125 less than the original quote --- despite the extra work!

Tony runs a tight ship...his workers are very professional and work hard. Tony himself is a great guy. He did some extensive sewer work for us. All seemed ok, but, through no fault of his, the next day we had a sink backup on us. He came out to sort out the problem and found a drain line they never touched had clogged with years of grease, etc. He proceeded to clean it out, spending about an hour, and did not charge us.

Besides from clearing out 2 sink drains, he found an earring that I had lost in my shower drain and wouldn't even charge me! We called Tony because we had a plumbing emergency. We don't have a regular plumber, so we found him through Yelp and chose him based on his high ratings. He sent someone to our house within an hour and they did a great job of replacing our pipes and fixing our leak. This review is way overdue. I'm currently renovating my house and Tony came out and offer a bid to replace my sewer line. I picked My Drain Company because of the high reviews but I was still on guard when he came over. But now I realized I just wasted my energy doing that.

I can honestly say that I had the smoothest dealings with Tony from My Drain Company compare to other contractors. We sat down talked about the work that needed to be done and the cost. During this conversation with him I never once felt pressured or felt like he was over complicating the work. He explained in detail what was going to happen line by line with the timeline on when each task is going to be done. Guess what? that is exactly how it went down. No Fuss No Hassle No BS.

I should mention, he actually fixed a couple of things inside and outside the house with no additional charges. He said it's because his guys are already on site and what needed to be done is fairly minor....who does that now a days??

This is what we, as homeowner need. A small business owner who's interested in making the connection with customer so they can be remembered on a good note rather than being remembered as a company who hassled us and charge for every little things.

Tony you are doing it right. Keep doing what your doing and we wish you all the best!

If you've ever had a main sewer line backup, you know how destructive and disruptive they can be. We are a 20 unit condo complex and we are very proactive when it comes to plumbing problems. Little did we know, we have two main sewer lines not just one. The undiscovered drain backed up and did some serious damage. We had our regular plumbing company come out and do a rooter and hydrojet service. We were told everything was fine and we had ample time to decide on a more permanent solution to roots growing in our sewer line. From past experience I knew that a trench-less repair was the way to go and I contacted My Drain Company. Tony responded to my contact right away and came out the same day for a free camera inspection (other companies charge up to $350 for this service). Tony showed us that we did not have much time until the roots would once again block our sewer line - our regular plumber had done a very poor job. We were able to schedule service the very next day. Tony and his crew were right on time and did a terrific job - he showed us before and after videos, we were very lucky that we avoided another plumbing disaster. Thank you Tony and the whole My Drain Company staff!

Dirty water coming out of bathtub and shower drains was just about the last thing I knew how to deal with. A phone call to Tony is all it took. Two hours later, he was at our house.... prompt, professional, effective, efficient, fair.. and above all, honest and human. In a world that cares much too much about money and material stuff, it's easy to lose the human touch. Tony hasn't. He treats his customers with respect and kindness. He diagnosed the problem and fixed it... fast.

Incredible company. We have an old house with old plumbing, and recently had an issue with a toilet that plunging wasn't addressing. We had one plumber come out, and say that it was either a really bad clog deep in the pipes or a collapsed pipe, and he didn't have the proper equipment to help us out. We next called Tony, and when he came out, he had all the necessary equipment, immediately addressed the problem (a clog, not a collapsed pipe - phew!), and charged a fair price (AND he cleaned up the mess the issue had made in the first place!). Fast forward to later that night, I'm washing my face in the sink, and start hearing weird bubbling from the shower - I think, oh, no - the toilet clog was just pushed down farther, and now the shower and sink are backing up! So we text Tony again the next morning, and he comes by the same day to check it out. Turns out to be the world's worst coincidence, and is another clog, completely unrelated to the first one! Tony quickly fixed that clog as well, and everything is running perfectly again. As he was leaving, he said oh, and by the way, this one's on the house. Unreal customer service - he definitely didn't have to do that, as the two issues were not related at all, but the fact that he did has earned him a customer for life. Thank you, Tony!!

Prompt! I emailed a quote request at 9:20PM and got a call back 40 minutes later at 10PM! Love that. The toilet tech arrived at 10am and handled the clogged toilet which apparently had a toy of some sort stuck inside. And my 7 year old daughter knows nothing about it. Hmmmm. The tech was very courteous and professional. I'd use My Drain Company again in a heartbeat.

My toilet backed up into the bathtub and after calling a brand-name plumbing company who I sent away after they said they didn't have the right equipment to fix it, I went to Yelp and read the extremely positive reviews for My Drain Company. So glad that I did! Tony came out soon after, tested everything, figured out what was happening and just made my day! What an honest, smart, reasonable plumber! I have been taken advantage of by so many dishonest plumbers in the past and Tony is the exact opposite! Cannot stop raving about him and his honest company, what a pleasure! I will definitely call him the next time I have a plumbing problem and will happily refer him to my friends and family. I knew within 5 minutes of meeting Tony (owner) in person that I could trust him. He did a big job under my house; nearly 50 feet of pipes and fittings. One year ago, I had a massive leak and hired a diferent company to come in. They charged me nearly the same that Tony did but only replaced 6 feet of pipe. My fault. I should have gotten at least 4 estmates. If you are desparate for repairs, and want a fair price then you have found the right [place.

After finding out my toilet was backed up, probably due to the Super Bowl party the night before, I decided to go to the store and pick up a bottle of liquid plumber or something like that. Dumped the entire bottle and waited 30 minutes and nothing has changed. So I tried once more to use the plunger and that didn't work. So I started searching online for a plumber and ran across this company's website. I started an online chat with one of the reps, and he took my information and sent it to a tech to contact me. Mind you that this is going on at 2am. The technician called me, but it was late and I wasn't in the mood to talk to anyone at the time. Also, I was hoping the toilet would be fixed the next morning so that I don't have to spend more money. Woke up the next morning and noticed that the toilet has gone down quite a bit. I flushed the toilet again and the waste just came back up. That's when I decided to call back the company and schedule an appointment. This was around 10am. I explained to the technician that I went out and bought liquid plumber and used a plunger and none of that worked and I was actually on my way to Home Depot to get a more industrial strength solution. He told me that it would be a waste of my money to do so. So I asked him how much it would cost for someone to come out and he told me $45. I thought my hearing went bad because most or all of the other plumbers charge at least $100. So I decided to take a leap of faith and scheduled for a plumber to come out between 12-2pm. The plumber actually came at 11:30am which was actually better. He came in and surveyed the situation and went to his truck to get his tools. Came back and within 20 seconds, he got the toilet working again. He stayed and flushed the toilet a few more times and snaked it just for good measure. 5 minutes later, he was already out the door.
He was dressed professionally with his shirt tucked in and had no odor. Spoke english very well and did not mess around and just got the job done. Definitely will make them a priority next time I have an issue with the toilet or sink. He was able to process my credit card using his iPhone and sent me a receipt right away. Kind of felt like I was at an Apple store. They accept checks and all forms of plastic.

I started to call the $99 dollar guys on TV but their yelp reviews were mostly 1 stars due to the charging of exhorbinant fees. So based on reviews, I called this company instead. He returned my call promptly, came about two hours later, was here for about 45 minutes and charged me $95 to unclog my backed up shower. Can't beat that.

Let me start by saying I'm not an avid Yelp reviewer, but a good review from me is well earned. Today was the third time I've texted My Drain Company to come out on short notice, and each time Tony has responded right away and scheduled me for the same day. Each time, he has given me a time window and was true to his word. Also, each time he texted me about 30 minutes before his arrival to let me know he was on his way. I couldn't be more pleased and impressed with his courtesy, punctuality, efficiency, and very fair pricing. Fortunately, so far the jobs were fairly minor- a clogged tub, a slow drain, and a running toilet, and each time he got the job done quickly and his price was very fair. Also, he observed the mask protocol which I greatly appreciate during this Covid-19 era. Hopefully not soon, but I will definitely call Tony again when the need arises. I HIGHLY recommend this company.

I have to write another review for My Drain Company. Late last week, we had an issue with our sewer drainage system. I called and texted Tony at 4:30pm about the problem. He had already let his guys go and he was finishing up a call. He said he would be over around 7:00pm. He was there at 6:45pm. He diagnosed the problem and went to work. Forty-five minutes later the issue had been resolved and he charged me a fair price. Tony saved the day! He was genuine, considerate and honest and we had a wonderful conversation as well. He even came with covers for his shoes so he could walk in the house. This is the second time I have used this small business and have been very impressed. If you have issues with your plumbing do not hesitate to call them!

I am a real estate agent with a recent sale in the Sherman Oaks Area. During the inspection period, the buyers inspector found what seemed to be a blockage in the sewer line so they called a professional router company to hydro-jet or snake it out. The company came out and found it to be a collapsed pipe, while saying that in order for it to be fixed, it would cost my client tens of thousands of dollars. Smartly wanting a second opinion, my seller found My Drain Company and they came out within a couple of hours of being called and located the issue and were able to start work the next morning and finish within 4 days. The entire time, Tony and his team kept my client and I updated with the progress with texts, phone calls and pictures. On top of the amazing service, they were able to save my client a sustainable amount of money in the process. They were incredibly fast, efficient and honest, which are qualities that are not easy to come by for many professionals. They fixed it, but most impressive was the fact that they came by 2 additional times to confirm pipe was repaired and properly working. Yup, they've more than earned their 5 stars. Contacted Tony of My Drain Company to help repair the main storm drain running under our commercial building. Unlike so many vendors I deal with, he showed up on time, listened to all my complaints and flooding sob stories, ran a video snake through the drain, explained the cause of the recurring issue, and offered a solution that would permanently solve my problem (larger drain pit and a special grate to catch debris causing the obstructions). His price was was far less than I expected. I have forwarded his contact information to everyone I know.

Tony came very highly recommended by a friend who just used him for a sewer line replacement. From the start, Tony was a straight shooter, earnest, and though I thought both sewer lines needed work, he proved only one of them did, cutting my cost by more than 1/2. He saw cut and demo'ed a section of the cement, excavated to the sewer line which he hydro jetted. He then installed approximately 50 feet of new 6 inch liner to repair the damaged sewer pipe. 15 year warranty! His guys were professional, fast, and left the area cleaner than it was when they started. And they saved us a boatload of money! Can't recommend him strongly enough.

I have an older house with blockages that two other drain companies couldn't figure out. The last company even left the cap off a cleanout and raw sewage drained underneath our house. My Drain Company's professionalism and knowledge was apparent from the beginning. It turned out to be a big job, lots of digging and permits. Everything was handled without any micromanaging and the my yard went from being a disaster zone to looking like nothing had happened in a matter of days. I found My Drain Company on Yelp and wanted to add my voice to their list of positive reviews. My water heater vent was improperly connected and was causing problems. I called and was able to get an appointment for the following day. Tony came out and was prompt and courteous. He diagnosed the issue, said that the heater cabinet needed to be cleaned out as well and gave me the cost. It was $200. I thought that was a little high, but not being sure of the labor involved agreed. He fixed it and even left to get an extra piece that would fit better. I feel like he went above and beyond.

Excellent service. Prompt, courteous, super efficient. Called at the end of the working day, got a returned call in 5 minutes and master plumber Tony at my door in 90. He promptly diagnosed and fixed the very unsavory problem - a blockage and damage in my rental house's sewer line- and left me with a full report and a clean house. Amazing! No, they're not cheap. Like most people I hate having to deal with any home repair vendor. It always seems like a small issue turns into a much larger repair than expected. After reading the reviews on My Drain Co. I decided to give them a try. First, even though it was before they opened I decided to call and leave a message. My call was returned within 10 minutes by Tony the owner. He gave me a window the same day that he could come by. He called to let me know he was on his way towards the early part of his window estimate. He immediately makes you feel comfortable with him upon arrival. He assessed the problem quickly, he fixed the issue promptly. Fortunately it was an easy fix but he could of made it more complicated and more costly and I wouldn't have known the difference. I would recommend Tony and his company to everyone I know. I would give him 6 stars if possible.

I had a maim line leak. Tony and Jose found the source of the after digging up a small area.
What I thought would cost thousands to repair turned out to be hundreds. Tony was professional and got the job done a timely manner. The area was left clean. He thought I had a pressure regulator problem because of another leak, but discovered it was just a valve that he replaced. He could have taken advantage but didn't. I would recommend their service and would use them again.

Went with these guys because of a 5-star review and sure enough, five star service, helpfulness, and friendliness! Couldn't have been happier, they fixed our leaking toilet, changed our shower head to a brand new one, and looked at a few other plumbing related issue we had. Omg this place is the best! I was so impressed with my service where do I start?! I just moved into a new guest house and they had just installed a water saving toilet with 2 buttons and it got clogged. I tried 3 different plungers and I bought one of those snakes, and had zero luck. I called on Memorial Day hoping they would be open and they were, the owner came out SUPER guy extremely professional and a very hard worker. He ended up having to spend most of the day here because the clog was way down in the main drain 10 or so feet down, he took the toilet off and everything. He left my bathroom immaculate and cleaner than it was when he arrived, and I could not believe how low of a price he charged me, anywhere else would have been soooo expensive I would of been broke after! DEFINITELY will be calling them again if I ever have another issue! Amazing company! Life saver!

Okay, these guys are already Yelp rock stars, but I have to add my kudos. Tony came last week to install a new kitchen faucet and deal with a couple of leaky bathroom faucets and a clogged drain. He was on time, listened carefully, quoted me a very reasonable price, scheduled the tasks the way I wanted (i.e., pull out old kitchen faucet, then do the other things while I cleaned the gunk off the sink where the old faucet had been, then install the new faucet). The old faucet did not want to come off, but Tony's patience and persistence finally got it done. At the end when everything was completed, he said with a twinkle in his eye, This old house is no match for me! Charged the quoted price, got on his white horse (really a nice new white van) and rode off into the sunset. We have found our plumber!

I can honestly say that this was the most pleasant experience I have ever had with somebody coming to fix something at our house. Tony was friendly and extremely helpful on the phone. Then Jeff, the guy he sent, not only made my day, but made the day of some of our employees who were at the house. He was warm, funny, and took an otherwise stressful plumming situation and made it really easy on us. The issue with our drains was more complex than we had anticipated and he troubleshot to explore all options before nailing a solution. Awesome service! Our apartments kitchen sink was clogged and thank God i found My Drain Company online. If I could give this company 10 stars I totally would. I called them at 7 in the morning in sheer panic because I dropped my diamond wedding band down the sink. They called me back before 8am and agreed to come to my house in the late afternoon. As soon as I got home I began to clear out the cabinet underneath my sink, I found a zip-it tool that unclogs your sink drain underneath the cabinet and figured I would just give it a quick try, I un did the lid of the drain and stuck it down there, a second later a wad of hair and my wedding band came up. I quickly called and let them know, they were so gracious on the phone with me and happy that I found my ring. This company is absolutely amazing, even though they didn't make it out to my house their customer service was unbelievable. They were willing to come to my house later than we had initially agreed on and when I abruptly cancelled the service they were so professional and friendly about the situation. If I ever have plumbing issues I know who to call. Good customer service goes a very very long way!

My Drain Company came out to give us a second estimate on a new water heater or even possibly a tankless water heater. The service person showed up on just a few hours notice, and immediately took a look at the water heater. He made a simple adjustment, and viola, it worked. He was honest enough to tell us we could use the 12 year old water heater for years to come potentially and it wasn't necessary to replace it. Then, he did not even charge us!

He also looked at a different plumbing issue we had, and was able to give us a fair estimate right away. I'm not sure we can do the work this year, but when the time comes, we would totally trust this company!!

I can't say enough good things about this company. They are absolutely amazing. I live in an old house and have had several jobs big and small done by my drain company and every single time I have been 100% satisfied. They are fast, clean, professional, and fairly priced. Tony, the person I have interacted with, is absolutely wonderful. Even if you don't get someone on the phone immediately they always call back very quickly. I needed some help with a clogged bath tub so I initially called 3 plumbers with 5-star reviews on Yelp to get a quote. All 3 calls went to voicemail. 2 of them didn't bother responding and the one that did was expensive.

The next day, I decided to give it one last try and call another of the Yelp 5-star plumbers. This time it was My Drain Company - Tony answered the phone the first time and offered me a time that afternoon with a quote substantially cheaper than the other company. He called about 2-hours later and said he could come earlier which worked for me.

When he arrived he fixed the problem with no hassle.

I will definitely be using My Drain Company in the future.

I called My Drain Company when I had a leaking water main pipe issue. They answered immediately, listened patiently, and then expertly advised that I should contact LADWP first to see if it's something that they could fix at no cost. Sure enough, the problem was on the street side, and LADWP fixed the issue. My Drain Company then followed-up with me to make sure I was all taken care of, and made sure the problem was fixed. Not only did they give me invaluable advice that saved me money (sending me to LADWP first when they could've just taken my money), they were responsive, courteous, and incredibly helpful. This was some of the best customer service that I've ever encountered, and I will definitely, DEFINITELY use them in the future! Can't say enough positive things!

Amazing company. The homes in my mom's LA area are over 100 yrs old & many still have the old clay pipes.The toilet kept getting clogged, we called a plumber and they snake it & it was great until 6 mo-a year later, the same thing happened but this time the water wasn't going down. I looked on YELP and found My Drain Co. This Company is amazing, no wonder they have 5 stars, I would give them 10 if it was possible. Tony and Jose were awesome, truly great men. They showed me in the camera, what was causing the problem and the clay pipe had collapsed and was broken so dirt and roots were growing all over that pipe. Tony explained everything in detail as to what needed to be done and the crew worked hard to get it done in 2 days.They got the permit from the city and started on time. Everything they did was top notch. Instead of digging a trench-100 ft, they made holes strategically in 3 places and were able to put in new pipes inside the old clay pipes without disturbing anything else. This process was TRULY AMAZING. Don't waste your time calling a plumber if you are experiencing the same challenges. If you live in the LA area, most likely your clay pipe have not been replaced either. Did you know if your plumber does not have the equipment to do the job, they subcontract the job to a company like My drain Co.? You end up paying a lot more too. If the plumber has all the tools then go for it but most likely, they do not. Most do it the old fashion way and dig holes and harder on the workers to put in a new pipe etc.. Please save your money and do it the My drain Co. way. Jose left the area better than it was. Both Tony and Jose are Awesome. Can't say enough about this company. Not only professional but honest, integrity based, great communication and great men. We now have peace of mind knowing our mom's home is clogged free for many years to come. These guys are the REAL deal! We have so many WIERD little plumbing problems with our 1950's ranch house. Tony was unbelievably professional and precise, you almost think it's too good to be true! Tony quoted me very reasonable prices and worked until well past dark. He resolved all of the issues that had come up, AND unfortunately gave us the bad news that our sewer is cracked in three places and needs to be replaced. We had a new sink and faucet installed recently and the water output was very low. We tried a handyman and let's just say that was a funny and failed attempt at fixing the issue with our faucet. If you need ANYTHING he's your guy! I can't say enough about how amazing it was working with Tony and his team. Initially we had them completely replace our old cast iron sewage/drain lines with ABS and run a liner in our clay pipe that goes under the street to the main city line. I got several quotes for the work I needed and in the end Tony came out on top not only with the best price but with the best service I have ever received from a tradesman. Everything was done on time, his communication was impeccable, and he is extremely personable. Our inspector had worked with Tony before and had wonderful things to say about him as well. All of our permits passed and now we have a fully working drainage/sewer system. We've had him out to the house several times since for smaller jobs and Tony always goes above and beyond to answer all of my questions and make sure I am informed and fully aware of what is happening. He is extremely proud of his company and it shows. Everyone who worked on my house was extremely respectful and kind. I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

This company is great!! I called on a Saturday and unfortunately they were too busy to take the call. The gentleman on the phone was nice enough to hear out my problem over the phone and suggest to reschedule for a day or two later. He even mentioned that if it was an emergency that I should call around elsewhere but if I could wait then they would be happy to set up an appointment. I called back on Martin Luther King day and they were still backed up but they said that they would call back if a spot opened up. Fortunately for me a spot did in fact open up. They came immediately and assessed my problem promptly. I was lucky enough that the problem was not a large one and they repaired my leaky toilet within 20 minutes. I have used many a plumber throughout my life and this company has been the most attentive and polite so far. Their speed, their amazing customer service, and professionalism during the repair is the reason why they have such great reviews. I will definitely make them my first call when the next problem shows up.

And again another clog - now, it was the kitchen. And Sam came to our rescue this time... He had the drain snaked. Was a very quick, clean and thorough job. My Drain Company is MY new plumber! I had two toilets that kept running and a bathroom sink spout that leaked. I called another company and they came out and looked at everything and quoted me $300. That seemed high, so I called another place; they quoted me $375, sight-unseen. No thanks. I called Tony and although he said $300 MIGHT be reasonable depending on the problem, he thought it would be lower and offered to give me a discount since we were doing two toilets. Tony said Phillip would arrive between 3-5 (same day), then texted back to say he'd likely arrive before 3:30. Phillip got here at 3:15, put booties over his shoes (thank you!) and took a look. In 2 minutes he said I didn't need a lot of what I had been told I needed and that $300 was way too much for the job. He fixed everything and only charged me $125! And my dog loved him, so you know he's a good person! Fast, HONEST, clean, and dog lovers - it doesn't get any better than that.

Honesty, integrity...these are not two words I normally use to describe a plumber. BUT these EXACT words describe Tony at My Drain Company. I called with a problem and he showed up in about 20 minutes, diagnosed the problem and fixed it in record time. Tony also used his inspection camera to check for any additional problems...FOR FREE. As a president of HOA I'd like to express my sincere gratitude to the crew of My Drain Company that quickly and efficiently solved huge problem by removing near 50 ft of old and damaged storm drain pipes and replacing them with new thick walls quality pipes.
We all were impressed with rapidity and quality of work that was 90% complete within 3 days!
Per our request Tony joined us on the meeting where he provided highly professional expertise on the issue. He answered many questions in regards of the problem and suggested periodical checkup storm pipes condition that we gladly accepted.
I have to admit that for me the entire process that started with camera test was quite educational.

I had a small problem a leaky toilet and the food sink disposal got stuck Tony fixed those 2 in a matter of minutes, that was impressive but what impressed me the most, was the information he provided me, I was not aware about the amount of water pressure coming into the house, after the main tubing was replaced with a brand new valve, well is like day and night, water flows as it should and no more wasting of water I know I will be saving hundreds if not thousands do to his vast knowledge. My drain company is one of the best plumbing companies I've used! I'm a DIY person and I had a problem at my house that was so disgusting I couldn't handle it! My house had backed up and almost flooded my down stairs bath room, I called them and tony came out very nice, very short, but very knowledgeable. He ran the snake and cleared my stoppage with in 15 mins! He didn't try to sell me anything he didn't try to force me to make any repairs he just said if it happens again call me, and I'll clear it up for you. When we thought we were finished we went back inside and I notice that my toilet was complete filled to the top with raw sewerage. The most disgusting thing I've ever seen! Tony smelled it and said oh no I can't leave that like this he then asked me for a trash bag and literally scooped up all the feces with his hands till the toilet was completely clean! I couldn't thank him enough, and to boot he didn't even charge me for what he did he only charged for the snaking! I gave him a nice tip because I've never had service like that before. Thank you, Tony, and My Drain. I was visiting my mom in Sherman Oaks and early in the morning found that the Sewer Lateral was completely blocked and the Backflow Device was overflowing. I tried another plumber (left a voicemail, which was returned in the late afternoon), then My Drain. Tony answered right away and was at my mom's within one hour. He called when he was 20 minutes away. He snaked the lateral, removing lots of roots, and inspected with a camera. A small section of pipe was cracked, allowing root intrusion. Tony gave a fair estimate for the repair. He went to get parts, and again called me 20 minutes before returning. He was on-time, friendly, communicated with me, explained the work clearly, cleaned-up afterwards, and followed-up later to ensure everything was fine (he understood that my mom is a senior, and he wanted to confirm that everything was OK). We just had the best experience with Tony, the owner of My Drain Co. He was professional and friendly and explained, in detail, what we needed to have done. We had trouble with clogged pipes late at night and called My Drain Co. Tony came right away and diagnosed the problem. He came the next morning exactly when he said he would come. He found a little more problems with the pipes than he thought as they were over 40 years old. He carefully explained what he needed to replace as he had put a camera through the pipes. He had a fair price and came exactly when he said, once again. When the job was complete, I couldn't even tell he had been there since the entire area that he worked on was cleaner than it was when he started. More than anything, he represented how a good, fair, and professional companies still exist. He was so nice and caring . We plan to make him our new plumber and feel confident to recommend him. 5 stars is not enough to say how excellent he was.
