We hired VAM Construction and Remodeling to close in a drywall entertainment.  Their estimate was 42% lower than the highest bid.  The project included closing in the entertainment center, removing an old TV from a different wall, patching and painting that wall, installing an electric fireplace, and hanging a Frame TV.  VAM arrived as scheduled.  They began work on the Monday before Thanksgiving (11/21/22) and it was completed on Tuesday, 11/30/22.  VAM employees were friendly, competent, and asked questions to ensure the project met expectations. The wall looks better than I imagined. I'm so happy I chose VAM and will call them for our next project.  THANK YOU!

This company is one of the better of the bunch! I was fortunate enough to stumble across Roll-a-Shield who couldn't help with my need but recommended The Screen Co and I gave them a shot.

Painting with Pride did a great job removing wallpaper border and painting a hard-to-reach stairwell.   Very clean work.  Would definitely use them again.

It was a pleasure to work with Rick at Five Star Landscaping.  We have a hillside area that is eroding.  Rick listened to what my concerns and wishes were for this area.  He made it happen, despite having easier options.  Unlike other landscaping companies. Rick, the owner, was on the job the whole time.  Not only is he knowledgeable about plants and planting, but irrigation, as well.  His prices are reasonable.

Fantastic customer service! Very prompt and thorough. I highly recommend smart pools for new builds, repairs, and weekly service! They actually care about when customers.

Russ, Rob and their crew were all awesome! Prompt on calls, friendly, attention to detail, clean up and not to mention the guys were on time ready to work everyday. The entire job was finished in timeframe estimated and their pricing was very fair for the high quality workmanship we received. I needed a quick repair to a home I was listing, the garage ceiling sheet rock had fallen off.  Joel Stark was suggested, my seller called him and he was out that day.  They had the repairs, garage and a settlement crack, completed quickly, and absolutely perfectly!  You could never tell they were there, even the ceiling paint matched perfectly.
In my opinion, you can tell a true craftsman by the small jobs, where every detail counts.

Brad has done 2 projects for us, he built a Casita on our residential property.  We had been working with another contractor that had drug their feet and Brad and his team came in and got the job done quickly, during the beginning of the COVID issue.  He really came through for us.
The second was a commercial project, he remodeled our office, at our business in Chandler.  We had a quick deadline to get it done and they did an amazing job, excellent price and it was done on time.  
Highly recommend Brad and his team!

We completely ripped out and remodeled our backyard this year and we hired Phil and Shearon Design Collective to help us design everything. Not only did he do a perfect 3D model of what we designed originally, but he also gave feedback and improved on our original design significantly, then redesigned the 3D model. We're so glad we hired him.

Some things that he helped us decide to change were:
- [ ] Overall layout of the pool
- [ ] Height and thickness of the wall
- [ ] Shape and radius of the rounded pillars
- [ ] Placement of the scuppers/water feature
- [ ] Layout of the pavers around the pool (he literally hand drew the pattern)
- [ ] Placement of our pool fence
- [ ] Placement of our cafe light polls and where the lights would fall
- [ ] Placement of the gas line for our removable fire table
- [ ] Layout of our front landscaping

I was hoping to give them a better review as I go out of my way to support Veteran Owned companies. However, after I gave all my information and had a great talk with Brian....they never called me back and I had to find another company to the do the work.

Brian even told me about his Friend, Brett, and his Yoga studio/clothing line and how the owner is in Texas and blah blah blah!!  I mean I felt like I was connecting and they were gonna do great work!!  BUT NO!!

NO ONE CALLED BACK!!

So disappointed!!

I'm sure they have a reason....please call and check them out for yourself as others have given them good reviews.

Not sure what happened....but the ball was dropped for me!!

We had them extend our driveway and finish up decking in the backyard. Quick responses and service. They were priced great, fast work looks great. Had them come back to do some stucco and finish up a short retaining wall. Fast, looks great. Would have preferred they actually finish cleaning up the are once they completed. Was told they would but didn't come back. Finally just said whatever. That was an inconvenience for us to clean it up or I would give them 5 stars. Would sue again just be sure to specify and follow up with the cleaning up part.
Otherwise good.

We love this company!!!! They have been knowledgeable, quick, and friendly. This is a family run company. We bought our house in July and two weeks later our pool pump died, of course not covered by our home warranty. All the guys at Sonoran Water's have been great about making sure our new equipment is running at top performance. We truly lucked out finding this place. We will be using their services for a very long time.

I'm a remodeling contractor in Phoenix and I've used this company for three separate jobs (BASED ON THE OWNERS RESPONSE BELOW FEW AND VERY SMALL JOBS...hmmm).  My contact has been David on all of them. The 1st job wasn't a great experience. They fabricated the wrong design on my clients view fence. The  2nd job was extremely simple (2 standard gates) and went smooth. The 3rd job was the end of our relationship. After multiple calls and emails to get a rough estimate for a job I provided measurements, drawings and current photos.... I finally got some communication back 1 month later. After I got the rough cost, I scheduled a final meeting/measure today (May 9th) AT 6:15AM. I PROVIDED DAVID THE ADDRESS AT 5:20AM VIA TEXT. With a check in hand for a deposit, I waited for our appointment and no one showed. NOR A CALL TO MENTION THEY WOULD BE LATE. I called David AFTER 20 minutes (personal/work cells) and every time it went straight to voicemail. I finally got a call after I left my clients property and the excuses started to flow.
I try to give everyone a 2nd chance and I gave Martins one. But Id be insane to try again. There are plenty of steel fabricators in the valley and this one I do not recommend.

My previous review of this condo complex (9.30.21) may still appear, but since edits must be made within 30 days of posting I can only provide current info by posting this second review:

A new mgr started here at the beginning of 2023, so it's too soon to tell whether she will be more competent than the one mentioned in my earlier review (9.30.21).  Currently the new manager has permitted major security lapses to continue. (E.g., gates for underground parking have remained open and building exterior doors have remained unlocked for over three weeks as of today.)  Seems like a good manager would do everything possible to avoid such lengthy security lapses.

If/when upkeep issues (security, keeping buildings and their components in good repair, properly supervising our cleaning vendor, etc.) show significant improvement, this review will be revised to reflect such improvement.

The paint started to bubble up on my garage door after they painted it, then they did not repaint it.
