HISTORY

Cody Howard's passion for pool design was ignited over 25 years ago when he started out maintaining and repairing pools all around the Valley of the Sun. As he saw more and more need for superior pool repair and remodel work, he took his natural creative and technical talents and dove head-first (pun intended) into pool and landscape design, ultimately founding Sonoran Waters Custom Pool & Spa in 2005. Cody works closely with his talented team from beginning to end of every project. He listens to the visions his clients have for the backyard of their dreams and designs a unique concept that incorporates the specific needs of each property. He takes great pride in designing beautiful landscapes and hardscapes, which can include outdoor kitchens, water features, fire pits, etc...all the fun things that make your outdoor living space a dream come true!

We love this company!!!! They have been knowledgeable, quick, and friendly. This is a family run company. We bought our house in July and two weeks later our pool pump died, of course not covered by our home warranty. All the guys at Sonoran Water's have been great about making sure our new equipment is running at top performance. We truly lucked out finding this place. We will be using their services for a very long time.

I purchased my home November 2021 and Sonoran newly remodeled/resurfaced the pool before I purchased it. Within a month of owning the home a pool leak was discovered coming from the pool light, and skimmer throat seal. I contacted Sonoran Water Custom Pools and Spa and was told because I am a new owner that the warranty is not transferrable. I thought to myself okay that's weird that they don't stand behind their service. So I went ahead and spent over $1000 to drain the pool and fix the leaks. Additionally it was recommended that I fix the foundation bellow my pool pump because the pump was placed over unstable ground.
Now 5 months later another water leak is discovered. This time the tile is found to be cracked leading to the pool steps. Why is the pool that is newly resurfaced already having cracks in the tile and pebble tec? Both my leak detection professional and pool maintenance person were surprised that this is happening so soon after the pool was resurfaced. The only logical answer as to why is that the pool company didn't fix all the problems under and around the pool before it was resurfaced.
I have reached out the Sonoran about these problems and haven't received a call back. If they are a reputable pool company they should care about the quality of their work and stand behind their services. I am afraid what other leaks and cracks this pool will have in the future because in less than 6 months I have had 3 sources of leaks. I do not recommend anyone uses this company until they start taking responsability for the services they provide.
