I'm writing this review as Bob and his team are finishing my patio roof extension/renovation.  From start to finish, it has been nothing but top-notch.  

From initial quote, to explaining additional cost (which was very reasonable) that needed to be included.  Bob and his partner have been very timely and courteous with all aspects of the project.  I couldn't be happier with end result, and they provided me with other sub's to have more work done in the future.  His price for the job was exceptionally reasonable, and beat quite a few others.  The workmanship has been outstanding.

So don't just give lip service to helping Vets, but actually do the right thing and hire them.  You won't be disappointed.

Andy has done multiple jobs for me. Very professional, very detailed and leaves your home better than it was. Highly recommend his services!!

Used them for years and I am an out out of state Landloard but treat the rental like a home.  I feel they treat their work the same way, business but personal.  Kangaroo staff are great communicators, workers are reliable and do a good job, as well as prices are fair.  I like their email weekly reports with readings and pics.  Those pics for an of state landlord are priceless.  Thanks Kangaroo and I would recommend you to anyone.  Keep up the good work!

Alfredo and his team always do excellent high-quality work. We've had them rebuild the gables on our house, rebuild a covered patio on our casita, and replace several sections of warped and worn-out siding. Everything has turned out great and we're very pleased. We'll be happy to hire Alfredo's team to do more work for us in the future!

Trying to get a contractor out to do the less exciting work is difficult right now.  Multiple contractors told me remodels only and 1 even told me nothing under 20k!  Previously I had contracted with Lowes for my door and they backed out because it was too hard (I kid you not!).   I was straight with Vlad about my less than exciting needs and he was more than willing to do the work. His estimate was the same as Lowes and fairly priced.

Vlad told me his team would be there at a specific date/time.  They showed up EXACTLY as promised to the minute.  They worked efficiently without need of support from me and came prepared to do the job.  I got 1 call about something they saw while working the property; this was my issue, not theirs and I appreciated the fact they told me what they saw.   They didn't mind the fact I would sneak out to look at their work (I like to watch professionals do their job; its fascinating!).  They cleaned up nicely, walked me through what they did, and I paid with a check no hesitation.

So my photos are of the unpainted result; this was as I directed Vlad and his team.  One photos is of a piece of drywall that was sagging that he replaced.
But what I would want you to notice is that the texture in consistent and lines up with the original texturate on the gypsum.  This is what a professional should do; but not all professionals actually do this!  The second photo is of an access door to my air handler that he replaced.  Not exiting; but it had to be done!

Rob and team did a fantastic job at staining our house. They worked in a clean, precise but accurate way. Rob helped us find the stain we really liked, came up with creative solutions on some tough spots and the execution was impeccable. Cost came in as quoted and they worked every from early morning to the evening day in order to complete the job within the agreed deadline. We definetly recommend United Paint and Stain.

Jeff is such a great southern gentleman. Really good and conscientious handyman. I truly, highly recommend him for any home repair you might have. Really, you'll be happy you read this.

We needed to add skirting to the stairs, upgrade the lighting and add handrails to our curved staircase. It was important to get the handrails installed as soon as possible since my husband recently had a stroke and navigating the stairs was very difficult.

Another contractor recommended Daniel at One Stop Wordworks. He answered my call promptly, gave me a written bid and expedited the  work. They were friendly, efficient and on time. They protected the surrounding area, cleaned up after every step and followed up until the entire project was completed.

As a Veteran myself I love to do business with other Veterans. Great customer service. I highly recommend VanDahl Homecare services to anyone in need of having a better quality of life again.

My wife and I decided it was time to have our pool deck resurfaced, (approximately 600 sq ft deck), so we solicited bids from 5 different local companies, including the  pool manufacturer who originally installed the pool in 1979. (See my separate review for that  company). From moment we first contacted Daniel Baeza with Copper Sky Concrete, he was completely attentive and engaged with us as we outlined the project work scope.

Of the 5 bids, three of them were very competitive, as they were literally within dollars of each other, had similar timeframes on the project completion time, and all offered a 2 year warranty on the pool deck resurface. But my wife and I both agreed that we should go with Copper Sky for the job.

Daniel was very attentive to my follow up questions, as I contacted him several times during the selection process, as well as in preparation for the commencement, starting, during, and after completion of the project. I can't say enough about his genuine consideration and professionalism that he displayed to us.

The work was started exactly on time, and was actually completed a day ahead of schedule. (We were told 3-4 days and the work was actually completed in 2 days, with the crew returning on the morning of the 3rd day to remove the protective cover from the pool and clean-up the entire work area).

The quality of the pool deck resurfacing was all that we could have asked for, and we are very pleased with the product. I would highly recommend Daniel Baeza and Copper Sky Concrete for your pool deck resurfacing project, or any other project that this company contracts to do for you. After a weekend monsoon storm clogged up our pool filter, I started looking on yelp for pool repair companies. I messaged some companies without any responses. Cool Blue Pool happened to be pretty close to where we live in Phoenix, so I called on Monday morning- Rob picked up. I told him what was going on. He said he would come by at the end of his day. He actually was able to come over earlier, fixed the issue and that was it! It wasn't a complicated issue with our filter but I really appreciated him coming the same day, fixing it quickly and not overcharging. We will definitely use them for any pool repairs/issues in the future.

Erica is the best! Very professional, her subs are first rate and nice, and her ideas really helped us achieve the design we were looking for. Look forward to having her help us with more projects in the future!:)

When we knew we were going to build a pool, we got 4 quotes (wanted more but some company's didn't call us back....). Randy returned my call, agreed to meet at the house to give me a quote. He was the only one who called the day of the appointment to confirm (a professional detail nobody else performed). In honesty, his was the most expensive quote...yet....he also seemed the most professional. His contract is all inclusive: if a price goes up, you don't pay the increase. Once the contract is signed that is all you pay. From the time we signed our contract to the time the equipment was purchased the price went up $7K - we didn't pay another penny!

The quality of the work is terrific. The communication is the best. Randy (the owner) or Matt (Randy's assistant) show up to the site any time there's a sub contractor. I think the thing that really separates Desert Art Pools from other pool builders is that they build every pool as though they are building it for family!

While the pool isn't finished....we are days (maybe weeks) ahead of schedule. Let me ask you this, who do you know that is any days ahead of schedule in this post covid Summer of 2021? Neighbor across the street is months behind (he went with a company that didn't even call us back). Same neighbor has been uncharged thousands of dollars for unexpected work. With Desert Arts, if there's an unexpected expense....Desert Arts has it included -- no surprise contracting!

If you want a team that shows up, does the job, tries to do the job as quickly as possible, treats you like you are family and not just a check....I really do suggest you go with Desert Arts.  

We will continue to use them post pool build as our pool service people.

Tony and his crew is amazing! His prices are very decent and he isn't trying to rip people off at all. His workers are respectful and they clean up well after themselves. The services provided to us was to demo out the original pool and we are putting new tile and redoing the pebble tec. Today the crew is here to add the new pebble tec and once it's done I will show you the finished product. You can surely depend on Tony replying back with a phone call or text for sure he won't keep you waiting. He takes care of his customers no matter how many jobs he's got going on at the same time.
