We hired Vetsbuilt  in October on the recommendation of our realtor.  We worked with Bob the entire time and he was very responsive.  We had our old stone fireplace removed and replaced with laminate ship lap style tile.  Jason did a great job on this!  We love it. Jason was sure that we were part of all the decision making and he wanted us to be happy with the result.  We also had some renovation done in the Master Bath which turned out very nice.  Bob has some great subs that do awesome work.  Shout out to George for his great work building the brick wall on the side of the house -- all in one day!
The only thing that keeps the review from being great is that daily estimations of what would be completed were very optimistic and not often realized.  Toward the end of the project - which included several different items - resources were re-assigned to other projects.  
However, with that being said, the work was complete by our deadline and definitely within our budget, which was a HUGE priority for us.

Vince and his team did an amazing job on our pool remodel. We got three quotes that were all pretty close, but theirs was the best. We were getting our house ready to put on the market and needed things done quickly. From the time I requested the quote to everything being completely done was less than two weeks!! Part of the tile was redone, the surface was redone with pebbletec, and they removed calcium from the remaining tile. Everything turned out great. We highly recommend Vince and Venessa! They were extremely responsive and wonderful to work with.

I hired them to remove a load bearing wall from my house, I wanted to make sure whoever I hired knew what they were doing since it's such an intricate job, Alfredo showed up to give me an estimate and was very professional and knowledgeable, we agreed on a price, two weeks later his crew showed up, they were super clean, put plastic on all my walls/furniture/flooring to protect it from dust, they got to work and did a fantastic job, I'll definitely keep their contact info for future projects

I've had the pleasure of working with this team extensively through and office and clubroom renovation in 2019. They've been exceedingly responsive, honest and transparent. Vladimir brings a cool, collected and calm energy to the projects he's managing. I'm a very type A client and he handled my questions concerns and ideas with tact, poise and professionalism. It's rare anymore to find people who truly take pride in their work and craftsmanship.  Rob and team at United Paint and Stain did a fantastic job on our Tahoe Donner home.  We have a dark stain and lighter beams and Rob & team really recognized and then outdid themselves on the way those elements of the house complement each other.  They don't scrimp on product so the thirsty wood gets as much stain as it can possibly absorb.  The customer experience is great with a comprehensive consultation, honesty and fairness with pricing and once you get going text/pics and clear communication throughout which is particularly valuable to the part time homeowner.  They ran into some complexities with our house and simply stepped up to the plate and hit a home run.  To top it off, Rob personally came by a couple times and did us the favor of hand watering our lawn when he realized we were having an unrelated sprinkler problem.  All a rarity in this day and age.  Can't wait to move on to the painting of the interior to complete our transformation!  

As a side note, we did our diligence and compared 4 companies.  Although Rob's pricing is competitive, the winning factor was clear once you meet him.  No arrogance or condescending comments and clear, have you thought about this communication goes a long, long way!

Daniel and OneStop Woodworks was able to complete a full staircase remodel in 3 days! Team removed half-wall in stairwell and replaced with beautiful banisters, spindles, trim and stair skirt. Communication was seamless from initial quote appointment through finishing job. They are professional, reliable, CLEAN and they provide a very, very quality product. Price is fair given their master craftsmanship and impeccable attention to detail. Highly recommend and will work with again for future projects!

We decided to have our rear patio and front porch upgraded and refinished from plain concrete. Daniel from Copper Sky Concrete came out to show us the different possible finishes we could have, the different looks they would give, and took measurements. A couple of days later I received his quote which was detailed and seemed very reasonable.  After the work was completed, we were very happy with the end result.  Daniel's workers were efficient, professional and friendly.  They cleaned up after themselves before leaving for the day.  About a week after the work was finished, Daniel made another trip to our house to see what we thought of the outcome.  He was happy that we were happy.  I highly recommend Copper Sky Concrete for any refinishing and resurfacing needs you may have.

After a weekend monsoon storm clogged up our pool filter, I started looking on yelp for pool repair companies. I messaged some companies without any responses. Cool Blue Pool happened to be pretty close to where we live in Phoenix, so I called on Monday morning- Rob picked up. I told him what was going on. He said he would come by at the end of his day. He actually was able to come over earlier, fixed the issue and that was it! It wasn't a complicated issue with our filter but I really appreciated him coming the same day, fixing it quickly and not overcharging. We will definitely use them for any pool repairs/issues in the future.

So far I have loved working with Ericka and Rosie of Spicegirl Remodeling and Design. They finished my roof in a few days and the team that did it was informative and paid a lot of attention to detail. This was especially important to me as I am about to install a large solar array. I liked working with them so much that I contracted them to remodel my master bathroom.

They also installed door vents and new matching accedes to my attic on both sides of my house so that is could do other efficiency work. (Duct repair, sealing the roof, sealing can lighting, blowing in another 18 inches of insulation)

I will be updating my review with photos and a description when the bathroom is finished.

At first they were great. But the last two months not dependable. We found plastic bags in both filters and alot of algae because they haven't shown up for three weeks!

This company came out gave me a estimate. Contacted via text stating they can't do the repair on the spillway no problem! But they sent the estimate with it being done. I know my pool can be resurfaced! This company didn't offer in RESOLUTIONS ! WE GONNA HAVE TO PASS the estimator texted !  fine but what about resurfacing the pool? What are my options? This company is a Amateur company in customer service! I'm glad I dodged this bullet!

I was ready to contract for my carport, but Steve made 2 different appointments to clarify details and was a no-show/no call both times.   One time- I gave him the benefit of the doubt.  Second time-  this is just bad business.  I called Royal Covers and they were almost $2000 less, and 100% professional.  Small, local businesses are my preference, but they must keep their word and be professional to be successful!  This Owner is neither.

The fact of the matter is that Steve did not communicate with me that he chose not to do the job.  He left me waiting for him to show up to an appointment he set TWICE.  I have no interest in trolling him, I'm just stating the facts.  In the end, I'm happy NOT to do business with Mayfield, and the professional company has no issue whatsoever with the layout or complexity of the job.  Just a matter of knowledge and experience.  

There won't be a 5 star rating for long if Mayfield continues this level of professionalIsm.
