Yes ---- a true 5 STAR rating !!!!!
Our project was to build an 850 square foot guest suite --- not a small job. After attempting to work with 3 other contractors, we were frustrated and disappointed with their lack of integrity and follow up. THEN --- we found VetsBuilt Contracting and the owners - DJ and Bob Jenkins. They are fair, honest, dependable and want to do what the client wants --- and they pulled out all of the stops to make sure we were ..... and are happy with the results. We couldn't be happier. It was a big job --- with a lot of detail and they performed as promised.
If you want to work with people you can trust to have your best interest at heart- give them a call. They are for real.

Andy is the best. I have two homes and he has worked on both of them. There is nothing he can't do,from the simplest to the most difficult renovation. He treats your home as if it was his, very tidy, always on time, and besides that he is a nice guy who you can trust. I would highly recommend him!

We had contracted with Kangaroo Pools 4 years ago to install a Bionizer System on our brand new pool. The Bionizer is an Australian product and we were told by the salesman (Laurence) that the system was maintenance free and had hundreds of installations on commercial and residential pools. Vince from Kangaroo Pools introduced himself as the Bionizer support for the greater Phoenix area and a seasoned professional. We had the system installed. It relies on copper interacting with the water to sanitize the pool without the need for chlorine. Immediately form the start of the system a trail of stains immersed from every water inlet into our pool and stained the fresh new pool plaster. We had to partially drain the pool and Vic e came out to acid was the fresh plaster and thought the stains were minimized they were still present. We allowed this as it was minimally visible. Another concern with the copper was it began to stain the stainless steel rings around the LED Pool lights. Within weeks, very gradually at first we began to notice marks on the pool floor. Thinking maybe this was a result of the pool cleaner we just accepted it. Vic en was contacted over these years to replace Copper cells, and adjust the system as needed. Progressively the staining got worse. We had the pool completely drained last month after Vince removed the Copper cell and we had the pool acid washed. All the while we had been in contact with Bionizer in Australia. My wife spoke with the owner of the company and he insisted that he stands by the product and it works. We voiced our concern to him that Vince was charging us for every service call for what clearly was a poor installation form the beginning and the product was staining our pool. We had three other pool service companies look at the pool and they all said they had never seen a pool stained so much form metal staining due to the copper cell not functioning correctly. Having drained the pool and acid washed it at our expense we asked Bionizer to have Kangaroo Pools (the only support in AZ for them btw) come out and correct part of the Bionizer system that was failing called the Eco Oxydizer. We voiced our concerns asking that they take care of it or return our money. Shortly after that we received an email form Kangaroo Pools that they could no longer support or service our pool. So now no support at all in all of AZ, the company is based out of Australia and we are out the original $3,200.00 we paid for the system and installation not to mention the cost of repairs we have incurred for a system poorly installed that doesn't work. SO if possible I would stay clear of Bionizer and know if Kangaroo Pools installs a system for you they will cut and run if they know they cant get any more cash out of you.

Not sure how this company has any good reviews, because it is one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a Yelp referral and I gave it lots of time and even second chances.
I contacted this company over 3 weeks ago with a fairly substantial job. I tried several times to get a response and was ignored. Then after being ignored for a week and several attempted contacts, I left a poor review communicating that on Yelp and and magically right after I posted it, I received a call from Alfredo. He apologized and said he was not on his phone for days. Not sure what that even means. OK. Also, I had left multiple messages on Yelp which also were not responded to during that time. Guess that was down too.
However he finally contacted me so I removed the poor review and would give them a second chance. It took a while for Alfredo to finally come out to look at our job. Once he got here, he asked about the job and measured. Then as he left said he would get an estimate to me right away. A week went by and no follow up by Alfredo. I texted him a few times and he finally got back to me and then said I lost the measurements and asked me to re measure them and send to him over him coming out and doing it again. Unprofessional but I did it even though I am not a construction professional and thought it was odd for him to ask of that. I then texted him the measurements I took and waited for a reply that he even received them. Nothing for over a week. I texted again asking for a follow up and again nothing. A third time and again nothing. Guess that pesky cell phone was out of his hands again. Sorry, but that is it, I am done.
This company does not know how to run a business and communicate so I would be very careful in using them.

First, let me say that he came out and did an estimate right away and seemed incredibly knowledgeable. I was so excited to hire this company to remodel the kitchen in my mother-in-law suite. Unfortunately it took two weeks to get the initial estimate rather than getting it by the end of that first week as he had stated. Then the estimate was missing some major components... The install of a gas stove and stainless hood (and that's really a BIG part of this project).
When I emailed him about this, a week later I still had not heard back with an updated estimate so I emailed him yet again and left a voicemail. His response was that he thought the vendor would install yet he and I had very clearly discussed that Dynamite would do the installation. Bottom line is that he added another $250 to the estimate and still didn't give me any info on his availability (which I asked for a few different times). As much as I would love to hire this company because I really genuinely think he knows what he's talking about and the price is reasonable, I think he is just far too busy and may not do a good job on my project because he didn't care enough to get me the estimate when he said he would, missed major components on the estimate, didn't respond to my email for over a week, and he also didn't answer his phone or return my call. I know my project might not be as big or important as his other projects, but it is very important to me and I would have been happy to schedule this several months out if needed. I just want a company that I can count on to pay attention to detail and communicate in a timely manner. Very disappointed this didn't work out.

We met Rob as we were preparing to take ownership of our new home and agreed that he would paint the interior once we closed escrow. He and his crew were there every day until the job was complete, and when we arrived a few days later our home was beautifully painted, cleaned up, and ready for us to enjoy. Rob is phenomenal. Don't even hesitate to hire him ... great work, great guy! Thank you!!

Their cleanliness is top notch! The work area was completely sealed off from the rest of our home. Their work ethic was amazing. They showed up early, worked hard throughout the day and got the job done before expected. Contractor kept me informed from beginning to end and actually did all the work himself. Our staircase looks beautiful now, all thanks to One Stop Wood Works. I will DEFINITELY be calling them for more of our home projects.

Our pool deck just got done! Daniel came by to do a final walk thru so it's still brand new but so far, we love it! Daniel was very professional! Really nice guy and easy to work with. Very reliable and seems extremely trustworthy. It's always easy to do business with someone you like! He came out several times to give us suggestions/estimates since we were throwing around a few different options for design. Not once did he act like it was a waste of his time and we all know that this economy right now is thriving so it's not like he didn't have other jobs. He would text us and keep us in the loop on when his crew was coming out and what they were going to be doing that day. Communication and keeping your word is so appreciated and rarely done these days! Can't wait to have a party and show off our new patio and deck! Thank you Copper Sky Concrete! Highly recommend this company!

Emailed this company, had someone (a lady) come out to our home we had just purchased. Such a waste of time! No direction, help, suggestions, ideas etc. Never received an estimate. Poor customer service. I would not recommend this company.

When we knew we were going to build a pool, we got 4 quotes (wanted more but some company's didn't call us back....). Randy returned my call, agreed to meet at the house to give me a quote. He was the only one who called the day of the appointment to confirm (a professional detail nobody else performed). In honesty, his was the most expensive quote...yet....he also seemed the most professional. His contract is all inclusive: if a price goes up, you don't pay the increase. Once the contract is signed that is all you pay. From the time we signed our contract to the time the equipment was purchased the price went up $7K - we didn't pay another penny!
The quality of the work is terrific. The communication is the best. Randy (the owner) or Matt (Randy's assistant) show up to the site any time there's a sub contractor. I think the thing that really separates Desert Art Pools from other pool builders is that they build every pool as though they are building it for family!
While the pool isn't finished....we are days (maybe weeks) ahead of schedule. Let me ask you this, who do you know that is any days ahead of schedule in this post covid Summer of 2021? Neighbor across the street is months behind (he went with a company that didn't even call us back). Same neighbor has been uncharged thousands of dollars for unexpected work. With Desert Arts, if there's an unexpected expense....Desert Arts has it included -- no surprise contracting!
If you want a team that shows up, does the job, tries to do the job as quickly as possible, treats you like you are family and not just a check....I really do suggest you go with Desert Arts.
We will continue to use them post pool build as our pool service people.
