We were in need of a new roof after the last monsoon season, and due to needing some additional work done on some upper siding related to the leaks, numerous roofers turned us away saying they didn't have the license to take on the full project. After finding VetsBuilt here on Yelp (thanks other reviewers), Bob quickly assessed the damage, made his recommendations, and promptly put his team to work.

Everyone involved was extremely professional, kind, and a pleasure to work with. Bob was mindful of our schedules and it was a nice surprise to be able to text and get regular updates and communications about the project. VetsBuilt, you've got my business from here on out. Vince and Vanessa are amazing at pool care and maintenance! Our pool as it started warming up, took a hard turn for the worse and just looked horrible and of course right before the weekend with company coming over.  Within two days, the cloudiness issue disappeared, the algae was gone and with water is sparkling once again.  I can't say enough about this company.   Great people, great Australian accents AND they know pools!

I can't say enough good things about Vlad and his crew. Vlad responded to my request the first day and quoted me a fair price. They were all very, very nice people who knew what they were doing and they worked so well together, my job was completed in one day and they helped me get my furniture back in place, too, so my house was back in order before I went to bed. They were friendly and professional and a pleasure to have working in the house all day. Vlad sent me an email the following day making sure I was happy with their work (I am).  Who does that anymore?   I guarantee you will be very happy with this company.

I called Rob to get some advice on a problem we were having on a knotty alder door. He spent 40 minutes of his time talking me through the cause of the problem and brainstormed solutions for me too! I was so thankful for the help - and I just wish he wasn't so busy that he could finish our job. Thanks Rob!!!!! You are amazing!!!! Next time United Paint and Stain is our first call!

We needed to add skirting to the stairs, upgrade the lighting and add handrails to our curved staircase. It was important to get the handrails installed as soon as possible since my husband recently had a stroke and navigating the stairs was very difficult.

Another contractor recommended Daniel at One Stop Wordworks. He answered my call promptly, gave me a written bid and expedited the  work. They were friendly, efficient and on time. They protected the surrounding area, cleaned up after every step and followed up until the entire project was completed.

As a Veteran myself I love to do business with other Veterans. Great customer service. I highly recommend VanDahl Homecare services to anyone in need of having a better quality of life again.

We decided to have our rear patio and front porch upgraded and refinished from plain concrete. Daniel from Copper Sky Concrete came out to show us the different possible finishes we could have, the different looks they would give, and took measurements. A couple of days later I received his quote which was detailed and seemed very reasonable.  After the work was completed, we were very happy with the end result.  Daniel's workers were efficient, professional and friendly.  They cleaned up after themselves before leaving for the day.  About a week after the work was finished, Daniel made another trip to our house to see what we thought of the outcome.  He was happy that we were happy.  I highly recommend Copper Sky Concrete for any refinishing and resurfacing needs you may have.

Spoke with Rosa and scheduled an appointment time to come out and give us an estimate for our bathroom remodel.  She was scheduled to be at my home today between 1-3.  NO SHOW, NO CALL.  This is time we could have had someone else out.  Very unprofessional!

We have had Randy as a pool guy for five years.  Being first time pool owners, we were apprehensive about how to take care of our pool.  We contacted Randy and he has taken care of our pool since the beginning.  He is always willing to show me how to operate different features with our system.  He has always been quick to respond to phone calls or text messages.  Very dependable and good communicator.

After looking at a number of vendors (including the original builder, Shasta) that do pool resurfacing, we decided to work with Budget Pool to resurface our fairly plain 80s/90s era white plaster pool with a newer and more durable surface. Tony, Rex, and the crew were great. Once we decided to work with them, they came out to the pool and we looked at a bunch of their vendor's options for both tile and mini-pebble materials and we eventually settled on some tropical blue colors that turned out looking great!

Our pool is small, so they got the work mostly complete in 3 non-consecutive days to chip out the old surface, put in the new tile, and then do the new pebble surface. Tony was out at least once to check on things and monitor progress. The price was my favorite part - as for similar jobs, other vendors quoted me up to 50% more than Budget Pool, so that is fantastic. I'd recommend these guys to anyone who like us was seeing concrete through their fading plaster pool!

I was ready to contract for my carport, but Steve made 2 different appointments to clarify details and was a no-show/no call both times.   One time- I gave him the benefit of the doubt.  Second time-  this is just bad business.  I called Royal Covers and they were almost $2000 less, and 100% professional.  Small, local businesses are my preference, but they must keep their word and be professional to be successful!  This Owner is neither.

The fact of the matter is that Steve did not communicate with me that he chose not to do the job.  He left me waiting for him to show up to an appointment he set TWICE.  I have no interest in trolling him, I'm just stating the facts.  In the end, I'm happy NOT to do business with Mayfield, and the professional company has no issue whatsoever with the layout or complexity of the job.  Just a matter of knowledge and experience.  

There won't be a 5 star rating for long if Mayfield continues this level of professionalIsm.
