Great work, fair prices. Had a trailer repair done and shade install as well as a gate install Overall happy with everything

I had a very loose balcony fence railing. They came out and completely fixed for me. They made and welded custom pieces to make it secure. I had paint so they even painted to match and look nice. They stood by estimate even though it took longer than anticipated.
Other people never showed. I highly recommend, Robert was very nice.

Our garage door was not going up all the way, so we called Loyal Doors.
They were able to come out the following morning to fix the problem. Prices were fair and technician was professional and friendly. I would highly recommend this company for all your garage door needs and repairs.

I purchased a new gate for my home, as well as a steel security door for our back patio and I couldn't be happier with the purchase. The estimated timeframe that was provided was spot on and the installers showed up on time and were exceptionally nice and accommodating. The installation of the side gate went as expected but the installers ran into some issues with the installation of the security door based on some flaws of the house. They worked tirelessly through those issues and spent the day making sure that the installation was finished as expected and that I was satisfied with the installation. These guys are fantastic and the security door and gate came out better then I had expected. A+

Gabriel and Luis were awesome! We've had issues keeping up with our landscaping due to work, school and family. We also have a bunch of unique vegetation in our yard that's been tricky to trim. But the dynamic duo cleaned up our front and back yard in no time with fantastic results and at a price that works well for us. Looking forward to continue this service every other week!

Matt did a fantastic job and easy to work with and makes sure the job is done right. He goes over and above the required work order.
I would definitely recommend General Fence Company for all your fence and gate needs.

We just got finished with a pool & yard renovation in southeast Chandler - I called & emailed several of the pool fence companies in the valley, including the big name ones. I was shocked at the price quotes I was receiving! Luckily I found Alex on FB Marketplace - he responded quickly with an estimate on my 125 linear feet and a gate. His price beat the others by A LOT. They were able to install within a week and the QUALITY of the fence and installation workmanship can't be beat. I am so glad I hired them to do my job - I saved thousands $$.

I received 3 prior estimates for a new garage opener replacement. They ranged from $500 to $700. They said my current garage door hardware was fine and the door was balanced. I also found I could get a high quality Chamberlain/Liftmaster opener including installation for $327 from Home Depot.
Then Elite Garage Doors & Gates came out and said my garage door was imbalanced and the hardware was worn and needed a hardware overhaul in addition to a new opener. He quoted a total price of $3,300 and said he could do the work immediately as he had all the parts on his truck. I said his quote seemed high and asked for an itemized quote be emailed. The tech (Van) couldn't figure out how to do it. He said he'd have the office to do it later.
I told Van I couldn't make an immediate decision as another company was coming to give me an estimate. I didn't tell him about the previous estimates I'd already received. I thanked him for coming by and he got into his truck.
However he didn't drive away. He sat in his truck for about 15 minutes and then rang my doorbell. He said he'd spoken with his boss and had a new estimate of about $2,100. He also said that price was only good if he did the work immediately at that time. I told him I don't deal with businesses who use those kind of sales tactics. I said goodbye and then he really left and drove away.
They quote an outrageously high price and if the customer refuses, they come back with a lower but still outrageous price and tell him the lower price is only good right now. They do this so you'll feel a sense of urgency and won't comparison shop or do any price research. They want to close the sale and do the work immediately so you're stuck with an outrageously high bill for over priced and unnecessary work.
For example Van said I needed two new torsion springs for my door at a price of $350 per spring. $700 total just for the two springs not including labor for installation. I later found out a pair of new springs can be bought at retail for a price of $50.00 - $140.00.
I was irritated by their tactics and being treated like a sucker, so I did some research on the company and it's owner Charanjit Gohlwar aka Charan Gohlwar.
I found this damning article about him and his previous garage door business in a garage door industry publication:

I also found this NBC Dateline report:

and this local NBC 12 news report:

Charanjit Gohlwar aka Charan Gohlwar owned that Precision Door franchise until he was dropped as a franchisee because of his unscrupulous business practices. According to the first article one of Gohlwar's employees stated that his business principle is to SLAY THE CUSTOMER.
He now owns Elite Garage Doors & Gates in Scottsdale and is running that company the same way he ran his Precision Door of Phoenix franchise business.
Additionally he has been involved in several business lawsuits and legal disputes with the Internal Revenue Service. These can be found with an online search for his two names Charanjit Gohlwar and Charan Gohlwar.
STAY AWAY FROM ELITE DOORS & GATES OF SCOTTSDALE and CHARANJIT GOHLWAR. THEY WILL TRY TO TRICK YOU AND RIP YOU OFF!!!!
Anji/Angie's List should do background checks on the businesses they make referrals to. In the case of Elite Doors & Gates they should drop this business immediately. They should be ashamed of referring this business.

Liars, cheats, alcoholics. They take your money and you never hear back.
Go some place else, I lost thousands of dollars and now I have to hire an attorney. Check their BBB record, I wish I did before I hired them.

Looked at our problem, which was a broken gate lock, guaranteed to fix it quickly, took our check for $280 and even after 4.5 months of phone calls, never fixed anything and still has our money.

I called this company to get an estimate, and left a voicemail. No response. Left a second message and again no response. I wonder how a place with this type of customer service can even stay in business?!?!
