Best General Contractors in Arizona

As a Veteran myself I love to do business with other Veterans. Great customer service. I highly recommend VanDahl Homecare services to anyone in need of having a better quality of life again.

One of the most honest and best contractors one could work with.  Only problem is that there are not enough Glenn's to go around.  I highly recommend Glenn and his team.

We've been wanting to remodel our small kitchen ever since we bought our house 8 years ago.  We've talked wtih probably a dozen differrent contractors over the last couple years and some you could tell weren't interested because of the size.  I want to give call out Nordic Improvements as one of the best we dealt with.

Stein and his partner Jeff are two class act individuals who took a genuine interest in our project regardless of size, were extremely responsive and flexible on requests to meet, very generous with their time, had a lot of great ideas and in the end provided us a very thorough and well laid out bid.  Great customer service needs to get recognized!

Worked with Ryan for scheduling and Mike for the work. I had a back door installation I needed done and they did an awesome job! Their pricing was extremely competitive and Ryan and Mike were both extremely responsive. Due to my house being totally uneven, the installation took much longer than anticipated. Ryan and Mike made sure to still do a great job and ended up coming back the next day to finish the job and get all the finishes done. I really appreciate the responsiveness and that they did whatever it took to get the job done, even with a smaller job in a crazy market where contractors are a hot commodity. Will definitely be using them again for future projects.

We hired Tyson to tear out the old counter tops and disconnect the plumbing in preparation for a new laminate counter top install by another company.  He was quick to respond to our request for quote, came out to the house and quoted a very reasonable price.  On the day before installation, he and his co-worker showed up on time and got the disconnect done in about 1 hour.  This was a rapid time considering that the counter top was held in place by some very inaccessible screws.  They handled the job masterfully.  The next day, the new counter tops were installed by the other company and Tyson showed up immediately when the job was done and reconnected the plumbing, touched up the spots where paint had chipped during the tear down and left the kitchen looking better and cleaner than when he started the job.  I can't say enough good things about Tyson and his company.  We will keep his card on our bulletin board for future jobs.

I am beyond pleased with the new walk in shower that was done by home time bath. The product is superb and the workmanship was outstanding. I plan on using them again for my next project. They were on time, very courteous, and work was excellent.

Jim's group is excellent. The entire team takes pride in a job done right. Jim and his team are very responsive. They answer phone messages and address your questions promptly.  I would not hesitate to use them again and would definetly refer them to friends or family.  The team is trustworthy and honest.

After communicating Chris from Mr PhxIt returned today 9/6 as we scheduled!  Chris replaced the newly fallen roof tile.  He did reglue pigeon spikes (these were the 2 main concerns of mine).  Additionally, Chris did glue an entire extra row of spikes (not there initially) to keep the birds from roosting at the entry door.  All in all, Chris PhxIt did my roof repairs, tune up, and return visit for a successful job.  Thanks, Chris.

Jacquie Evans was very professional, thoughtful with her recommendations and easy to work with.  I was looking to update my home yet use the furniture that we moved from other homes.  She has eye for visualizing your descriptions and comfortable with making suggestions.  She looks at every room with a fresh eye and doable ideas.  I really enjoyed our appointment and appreciate her helpfulness.

warranty repairs before closing.

Ron was quick professional and right on budget with all of the repairs. Made it very easy and seamless.  I highly recommend this handy man.

This was one of my worse experience in life dealing with Kris. Certainly, it was great at the beginning of our alliance but when it came down to the beginning of the work, it was a disaster. Kris was to design kitchen cabinets, install the cabinets, and the installation of granite. Upon the installation of cabinets, with her FIRST cabinet sub-contractors, which did not complete the job to even basic standards. So poorly that Kris did not even bring them back to the job. Unfortunately, the installation was not the only thing wrong, Kris's wrong measurements also created massive time delays. The cabinets were not squared by the first cabinet installer hindering the granite countertop measurement (more delays). While all these circumstances, her frustration was taken upon by the customer (me and my family). After four weeks of waiting, the correct cabinets arrived BUT the new cabinet installation was not done after two weeks because of ridiculous excuses.  In addition to that, the quotes that Kris gave me were way off my original quotes. I guess, her loss is my loss (who will not succeed in a business like this?)

Inviting Kris or any service to my house requires some form of reverence, correct?  Well.... with here impediment, my family and I were threatened by her. Her exact words I'll have the city, immigration, and ROC on doorsteps before nightfall.    

WHO WANT TO DEAL WITH THIS KIND OF INVOLVEMENT???

She TEXTED, so I have these threats in writing because I am a MEXICAN -AMERICAN. All of the texts are empty threats that shows the racist nature she operates her business.

Unfortunately, the stress and frustration of this job caused a toxic environment in my home and with my family, so I did a stupid thing and just paid her the excessive amount that we had NEVER agreed upon because I just wanted her out of my house.

I'm only giving this place a 2 because of Aaron, the installer, who did an amazing job ALL FIVE TIMES coming out to our home to install our shower doors.  The customer service at this place, aside from Aaron, is nil.  Also the door itself is pretty (and hopefully durable).

We went into the show room because we wanted to pick out our shower door.  We'd seen their flyer at Lowe's and thought we'd go in and purchase locally.  When we went in we were greeted, but once the woman saw we had the Lowe's brochure in hand, she said we'd have to work with Lowe's.  Since Lowe's lacks the displays we went ahead and looked around and found what we wanted.

When we arrived back at Lowe's to order the door, it was about double what our contractor had told us to expect, so we had a consultant from Arizona Shower Doors, come out to the house, via Lowe's.

After we got a bid on a new door that was more in our budget, we had to go back to Lowe's to pay.

We paid at Lowe's and a few days later received a call to schedule the install.  When Aaron came out to install the doors, we had noticed the towel bar option was installed way to high on the door.  Aaron let us know, if we don't sign off on the order, they will fix the problem.  

We didn't hear from Arizona Shower Doors in over a week, we thought for sure they would call and apologize and let us know a new door was going to be ordered.  We finally had to make the call to get the ball rolling.

The next time the panel came out, it was cracked.  It's glass and it happens.

The next time the panel came out it didn't have the protective coating that we paid extra for.

This last time the panel was made to the same specifications as the first.  Aaron called to the shop, and they had our correct panel there, so they put it on a truck and sent it up to our home.  Aaron went to another install and came back to install the panel.

This company truly lacks in customer service.  I suggest that Aaron be promoted to customer service manager and the company adopt his philosophy.
