I called Stans at 8:00 last Friday morning because we had no heat. A technician showed up at 1:00 and made a diagnosis and charged us for a service call.  He told us some one would call that day from the parts department and get us fixed up. I am still waiting on that call. We sat in a 63 degree house all weekend and placed over 5 calls to Stans that were never answered. I finally gave up on them and called another company that came out and fixed it in one day. Do not use this company.

Called Brad at 10:30 am. He answered and showed up at 11:30. Fixed both toilets in an hour. Price was 1/3rd of Radiant. Highly recommend.

Got slow water flow on faucets & toilet tanks. Skylar came to do free inspection and provided straightforward quote. Replaced all faucets filter and toilet valves. Took time to clean shower head which I told him I cleaned already. It turned out he did a better job. My shower head sprays water like brand new again. 2nd time he came prepared with shoes cover since the 1st visit I asked him to take off his shoes. Like people who take your concern seriously. Thank you! Will use again for future needs.

We had a leak in the water line in our backyard! Got a huge water bill and thats how we noticed.  We immediately shut off the waterline and tried calling plumber after plumber to get this emergency resolved.  Majority of the plumbers went to voicemail.  We got one company out who gave us an exorbitant quote.  I am glad we didn't go with them.  We got through Rooter-man and they were able to get someone out within the hour!  Their rates are very reasonable!  They charge a service fee but that goes towards the total cost if they do the repair.  And they don't charge by the hour - they have a price book and charge a rate for a type of issue.  I liked that!  It was straightforward and they were very cordial and competent.  Thanks for the fast service and will definitely be recommending you to friends!!

Update: Gabriel called and explained in a very polite and patient manner why the guys did what they did and convinced me that they didn't just want their customer to spend as much as possible. They also issued a refund of $89. Changing to 4 stars for the great communication.

My irrigation system was having a low water pressure problem after the city replaced the water meter. I had these guys come out to take a look, for which they charged $89. After they arrived, they were quick to conclude that it was a PRV issue after less than 10 minutes of diagnosis. They wanted to dig the PRV up and replace it, which would cost me $600+. I was very skeptical because water pressure was fine inside the house, it was only the sprinklers that had low water pressure. I told them I needed to think about it. After they left, I watched some YouTube videos on how to tweak the sprinkler valves and followed the instructions, and voila, the water pressure was back up.

Needed a water heater installed and contacted EZ Flow based on their reviews here and other sites. Came out at the specified time for a quote and they were significantly more reasonable than most of the other quotes I received. They were able to come out the next day (a Saturday even) and completed the work quickly at the quoted price, with a quality water heater, and bringing everything up to code. They even answered all my annoying questions while they worked. I hope I don't need a plumber's services again soon, but if I do I'll use them again.

I called A&T to re-set a toilet that was leaking around the wax ring and staining the ceiling in the garage below.

Freddy and his assistant Noel showed up within the time window, and texted before they arrived. They both wore masks into the house, and were professional throughout. Their work procedures kept things neat: they used a roll of disposable shop towel to place the removed toilet on, and put all their waste in a disposable bag to take out with them. They also used a small wet vac to suck the water out of the toilet tank and bowl, instead of sponging it out, so they didn't spill a drop of water.

All in all, I'm very satisfied, would hire again.

I interviewed several plumbers when considering who to hire for a fairly extensive remodel on our 1950's Central Austin home. I chose Henderson Plumbing because the owner (Dave Henderson) was the most responsive to my calls and emails. He also gave me a thorough bid upfront, so that there were no surprises.

I'm glad I selected Henderson Plumbing for our remodel. Dave did a fantastic job at our home and was ALWAYS on-time. In fact, he usually arrived a few minutes BEFORE our scheduled appointment time. Also, because Dave lives in the neighborhood, he understands the complexities of the older homes. Dave is efficient, but does not do a rush job.

Since then, Dave has answered any questions promptly. We are currently looking at installing a dishwasher (the house didn't come with one). Dave was willing to look at my choices and give me a recommendation on a dishwasher.

On top of everything else, Dave is very personable, making him a joy to work with.

I'm not sure where to start but I'll keep it brief and to the point. There is no better contractor that I've worked with in 14 years in Austin. We had a water heater go out right before Thanksgiving and our family was in desperate need of a replacement. 10 minutes after finding Abel on Yelp and reaching out through the app, he agreed to purchase a new tankless wanted heater and be at my house by 9am the next morning. It sounded too good to be true, but sure enough Abel arrived the next morning and installed the heater perfectly. The process, efficiency, and handiwork are second to none. Thank you Abel!

I had a leak under my sink and called them and left a message. They called back within about 30 minutes and came out the same day. My garbage disposal needed to be replaced so they charged $100 plus parts which I thought was reasonable. My sink was fixed by the end of the day.

We first met Jaime about 8 years ago when he was hired by our contractor to do the plumbing for a new addition on our central Austin home.  He did all the work for a new master bath, added a tankless water heater and removed old cast iron plumbing from our 1940s home.  Two years later he came back to reroute the plumbing in our guest bath.  He did great work with both jobs and we never had any issues while we lived there.

In 2019, I referred him to a friend who was experiencing a plumbing emergency at his rental.  My friend was super impressed with Jaime's responsiveness and work and was incredibly thankful to have found an honest, trustworthy plumber to help out during an incredibly stressful time.

And in February 2021, we had a pipe break in our new home after the major freeze.  We were panicked that we wouldn't be able to get it fixed timely since it seemed like everyone else in Austin was dealing with the same issue, but Jaime came to the rescue the next day and fixed the busted pipe.

In the 8 years we have called on Jaime, every single experience was top notch. I don't know what I appreciate the most about him: his professionalism, the prompt communication, the excellent work or how wonderfully nice and pleasant he is. The fact that we have been able to call on him to work on every single home we have owned in Austin really speaks volumes about the quality of his business and his work.  Thank you, Jaime, for always being there for us when we need you. Jim at Republic has handled several plumbing repairs and installations around my house.  I always felt as though I was their most important client, every time he came to my house.  Prices were reasonable, work was super.  

He even fixed things that were not strictly necessary to the repair in question, but that the plumber before had done incorrectly.  He asked me first and explained the consequences of leaving it as it was.  I felt like he was doing things the way hewould want them done at his own house.  All this and still at a very fair price.

My shower stopped working and they came in a timely manner and fixed it right the first time just when company was coming for the holidays! Thank you so much!

They replaced a water heater in my attic which was not an easy task--especially considering I have a low ceiling in my attic and you have to crawl to move around it! They took their time and were very careful moving the tanks in and out. They were professional, friendly and did an excellent job. Also reasonably priced. Highly recommend these guys!

We had a problem with our hot water (we have tankless) in our home we just moved into called a cold water sandwich, the water in the shower would start cold (which is normal), then get hot (which is normal), then go ice cold again (NOT normal), then maybe in a while would get hot again.

We hired a DIFFERENT plumber (not Thunderbird Plumbing) to come by, and after poking around for 40 minutes that idiot said I don't see any issues.  It takes a while for hot water to travel through the house, you need a hot water recirculator to fix this, which will involve us tearing up drywall throughout your house and cost thousands of dollars - we'll send you a quote.  

Before spending those thousands of dollars, we found Thunderbird Plumbing on Yelp looking for at least a second opinion.  Their voice mail said they were too busy right now, but we got a call back right away and they agreed to swing by the VERY NEXT DAY to take a look.  Jeff walks into our house, listens to my description, goes to the tankless hot water heater AND IN 3 MINUTES says Yeah, that's not right at all, I'm reproducing the issue, and it is displaying an error code.  Let me call tech support for this particular unit and we'll work through it.  

I sometimes get chills up my spine when the person in front of me fills me with confidence and I realize this is the right guy, right here, right now.  

About two hours later, Jeff says ok, I fixed several thing and I think you're good, but call me if it isn't fixed, I guarantee this work.  Jeff then explains in great detail, The air intake/exhaust wasn't hooked up right, maybe the wind knocked it at some point, maybe it was never hooked up right, but I fixed that and the error code stopped. Also, you are supposed to replace the water filter into the unit every few years and it really didn't seem like it had ever been replaced and the unit is 7 years old - so I replaced that.  Also, I descaled/decalcified the water heater, it was pretty bad, I don't think anybody had ever done that either so I descaled it.  I also went around to all your showers and cleaned out the sediment from all the shower heads.  It's working great now.  Oh yeah, somebody had turned the hot water heater temperature up too high probably to try to fix this incorrectly, I turned it down to the recommended setting.  It's not great to have it cranked that high, bad for the unit.

And from that point onward we had no more issues, everything worked the way it is supposed to, it even gets hot first thing in the morning in half the time.  No thousands of dollars on a recirculator that would not have solved the problem anyway.  No drywall work.  One visit by the right guy.

I'm never calling anybody else ever again.  Jeff is the plumbing whisperer.  He's the right guy.  And he doesn't charge NEARLY enough, not even close.

Mark is a plumbing wizard! We will be forever grateful for his immediate response and accurate, fast work. Our pipes burst in two places following snovid in mid-Feb and Mark visited us twice to repair - once even driving in the terrible snow to help his community. He is polite, informative, cool under pressure, fast, incredibly skilled and fair.

Let me say upfront, I am a perfectionist. I can be the best of customers and the worst of customers. And, I can really appreciate an outfit that attempts to do things right. From pricing and service to workmanship and responsiveness, Fuentes Tile exceeded all of our expectations. We are SO happy we found Olvin and his team! I would have them back in a New York minute and I would gladly endorse him to any friend. Their desire to delight us at every point of the process was evident and the outcome was phenomenal.

Working through our home warranty company they first came and the toilet clog was not fixed. They kept promising dates for 2 weeks and refused to come unclog the toilet. Very rude and unprofessional, BEWARE! Never came back.
