Friday night our toilet clogged and stayed clogged no matter what we did (our other toilet had been removed for a remodel). Over the weekend!  After speaking to several plumbers on Saturday morning, we selected Byron McDaniel simply because he could get here the soonest. I am in a newer home (1 1/2years old) and my master bath tub would not shut off with the handle. The cartridge broke so I had to turn the main water supply off in our garage to the home until a plumber could come out. Cathedral plumbing did all the work when we built the new home. We called them and they were able to make it out same day service. Troy did an amazing job and was super professional and courteous. Job well done Cathedral plumbing. Excellent service beginning with great personal service in discussing my problem to answering my questions.

Own a house in the area and my college-aged daughter and room mates live there.  I live in DC.  My daughter called John to help determine the source of a leak.  He indicated that it stemmed from the toilet being backed up.  John fixed that issue but indicated that a pressure test was needed to determine if there was still a leak.  Over the phone I asked him if he could do the test while there and he said that it wasn't an emergency and would need to be rescheduled.  We scheduled the pressure test for 3 days later with him.  Once he left the job site he sent my daughter a text message telling her that he is cancelling the appointment and to find another company.  I'm not sure if something was lost in translation over the phone or if something happened after I hung up.  Although he responded quickly to the phone call and provided good service I am left confused as to why he cancelled the appointment.  Because of the unreliability and lack of dialog I am rating him lower than I would if he finished the job that he started.
