Best Plumbing Services in Texas
Called this man, Lewis, says he doesn't cater to certain parts of Austin. Almost laughable. State that on your profile dude. Waste of time and no trust when it comes to guys like a Lewis ego after you agree on price, time and day they cone up with I don't go to that area like hello it's Austin not Lockhart man. Get a life. Dude is a jerk.

Kinda an emergency, needed yard mowed quick. Martinez Services call texted back in minutes on memorial day weekend. He got over in a couple of hours on a saturday. Due to appointment running late had to leave him money out. He is very honest, did work. Great job, stayed in contact, sent pictures. Great guy, great lawn guy. Top notch. Hard worker.

These folks are just the best guys ever. They were totally booked up for the week but they worked us in because we are long time customers. If you are looking for great work, wonderful customer service and fair prices, they are the best.

I have a tankless water heater that is less than three years old in my new home. It kept going out and I have had it serviced three times during this time. So I decided to try a different plumbing company. WD Plumbing came out and detected the problem right away. They were quick to respond and very friendly. The parts and service price was very reasonable. I am using them again for another project. I was very satisfied with this company.

We had a water main pipe burst due to a tree root that had wrapped itself around the pipe. Water was gushing out from the retaining wall into the street. I called Neighborhood Plumbing and was pleasantly surprised with how quickly they took action to get our problem resolved. They had someone out within the hour. The next three days he came out to work a bit more and put our wall and the yard back together. From looking at the yard you would barely be able tell that work had been done. Their customer service is excellent as well. I highly recommend these guys.

Jack went extra mile, literally, to check out our W/H that morning, short notice, took a look and let us know what recommend and how much. Cost was reasonable, IMO. Turned out was not water heater but a leaking 13 year old flex hose spraying water everywhere int he attic. David came out that day as promised and got us fixed up. Keeping these folks on our speed dial!

Excellent customer service from the start. We had a whole house plumbing issue. They came out within an hour of calling them. Zen and Jacob found the problem Immediately. These guys were hard working and did great job.
They communicated with us and cleaned up after themselves. I highly recommend Zoom plumbing!

Great attitude!! Initially, the quote for purchase and installation of an ADA compliant toilet seemed high, but it was comparable to the purchase + Installation from a big box store. The single biggest benefit was that I just had Achilles surgery and they were able to leave and pick up the proper toilet to install with a few hours. Took very little time and installation is certainly professionally done!

Needed a plumber, called Liberty Hill Plumbing and left a voicemail message. Within a couple of minutes received a call from Ray, who provided me with a reasonable cost estimate for the work and schedule the job for a day and time that was convenient for my wife and I. On the scheduled date, Ray arrived on time, completed the work (great job) and the cost was as quoted. We will definitely being calling Liberty Hill Plumbing for any future plumbing needs!

Looking at all glowing reviews here on Yelp I called them because I had a leak in my master bath. Two techs came in , looked at the water leaking and said they will charge $385 and spend 1 hour to find the leak. If the leak was not found within the hour then they will leave. I said that was unreasonable and had them call their boss. The boss initially said his techs were right. I had to explain to the boss why they didn't make any sense. Sure , spend $385 without even knowing where the leak is and be left with only holes in the bath from the demo.
Then the boss realized it didn't make any sense and said, oh no, it was just a bad communication and said, they will not leave until the leak is found(thank goodness!) and then give an additional estimate to fix the leak.
Work done:
1. Demo 2 tiles and a small portion of the cabinet to find a leak.
2. What was the leak? 1/2 inch pex T underneath the bathroom sink.
3. Total time spent in finding and fixing the leak: 2 hours to find , 1 hour out for lunch, come back and took 30 min to fix.
4. How many people worked? 2. One was helping with getting tools from the van and cleaning up , the other was the actual plumber.
Total charge: $1,186.70 - Yes that's right. One thousand, one hundred and eighty six dollars.
1. Will I call them again? No
2. Will I recommend them to someone ? Yes, if they are Elon Musk or Jeff Bezos. Otherwise, No, do more research and get some one with a reasonable pricing - don't need to be cheap but reasonable - even 10-20% more.
3. Is it a rip off? Does it even need asking?
4. Why did I go with them? They opened up the cabinet and I didn't want to leave it open until I find another reasonable plumber.
UPDATE:
Julia and others have reached out and heard my concerns about the pricing. Although they didn't change the final price that I was charged, I wanted to make sure to note that - the team that came in was professional to deal with and their work was good. The leak was identified and fixed properly. I am adding one more star to that - but I am still not convinced about the price.

You be the judge. Justin and a helper showed up at my daughters house to install a replacement water softener. The plumbing for the replacement softener was already in place from the previous defective softener. All they had to do was connect the new softener that was already available at my daughters house. They arrived at the house and installed the softener BUT did not program the softener or turn on the power making it operable and functional. Told my daughter she would need to handle this set up? She's a nurse! Not a plumber. They were at her house for 40 minutes and charged her $300. When I called them this morning about coming out to finish the job Justin tells me we install these but do not program and make ready for using. He then became confrontational telling me that I need to contact the manufacturer and figure it out myself. He then went on to tell me that if he came out to finish the job and program the unit he would charge an additional $150. I told him to just forget it. Last time we will be calling this company for sure.

During the busy holiday season we noticed a leak in our faucet. It also needed valves installed as the previous faucet had been installed backwards/not up to code. Thankfully without a lot of notice Chris was able to come in and took his time to install it correctly. As well as remove some buildup. He did a wonderful job and was friendly and great to work with.

We are first time homeowners and immediately had to deal with getting a new water heater. I searched Yelp and looked at reviews before finding BG Plumbing. I also got a few different quotes to try and see what the price would look like.
Tasnko was absolutely top class from start to finish. He was quick to reply, fair with prices and gave me a lot of good information on what I did and did not need. It's not surprise he has so many positive reviews.
If you need a plumber this is your guy! Thanks again.

For whatever reason, He wouldn't follow thru with other service needs I had. I guess they were not as high dollar as the tankless system I bought from him. I would call and I would be told to text the request and weeks went by and no response. I tried on 3 separate occasions. So disappointing.

George came out troubeshoot a leak in one of the zones in my irrigation system. He located the problem quickly and in addition found another area that was leaking as well. He fixed both quickly and the cost was very reasonable. I also mentioned that my controller schedule needed re-programming and he took care of that at no charge. Overall an extremely positive experience and I would not hesitate to recommend George and Diamond Irrigation. He will definitely be my go to guy in the future!

I used to have a very favorable impression of Fox Service. They did the HVAC repair and maintenance for a previous employer. I called to get them to fix my central air system which wouldn't blow cold. I told the representative I spoke with on the phone, I thought it was likely the run/start capacitor.
Their tech diagnosed it and told me I needed a replacement run/start capacitor. After having described the symptoms and the remedy he showed up without the capicitor. He went back to their shop to pick one up.They didn't have one in stock so he fixed it by wiring multiple compactors overed by a torn and shabby cardboard box with exposed wires into my outdoor condenser unit. I was charged for two service calls.
That fix failed in a few days. Approximately $800 later they said I needed to replace the whole system and quoted me far more than their reputable competitors. They wouldn't apply the previous service charges toward the repair either.
Bottom line -- I bought the part for about $20 and fixed it myself. I called and explained what happened and said I thought I deserved a partial refund. Others in the same business in San Antonio (not on competition with Fox) agreed. I never received any financial consideration.
I will NEVER use them again. The second star is only for previous experiences.
