Best Plumbing Services in Texas

Service was prompt (the man came within two hours), but the plumber lacked the knowledge necessary to effectively repair our water heater. Charged us $60 more than quoted over the phone and we will now have to call a more experienced plumber and/or electrician.

UPDATE: After seeing the above review, Wedgeworth contacted me, inquired further about our water heater issue and their service, apologized for not providing the solution, and then refunded us in full.

I communicated with Randy through yelp before hiring him to repair a very old leaking shower faucet. Though the job turned out to be on the bigger side of my estimation  (the whole shower valve had to be replaced)  and along with some unusual surprise (one of the brand-new replacement components I bought from home depot was defective, -_-!), Randy and his pal did a good job and fixed everything. Randy charged me the same promised price (I quoted for labor cost only) without charging me using his replacement component. After fixing the shower faucet, he and his pal put everything back in its original order and cleaned up everything.

I am very satisfied with his work and I will definitely recommend him to my friends for the following reasons:

1. He arrived at the promised time;
2. He and his pal did a good job in a very professional manner;
3. He did the job in a very clean way: wearing shoe cover, putting down floor cover, and cleaning up all the trashes/residuals;
4. His price was very reasonable and no upselling.

Jordan Reed was very responsive literally responded the same day to my Yelp request and was able to come to my house and replace my pipe in the side of the house the very next day. He called an hour before coming to the house and explained what was wrong and helped me understand. He provided a year warranty if anything was to go wrong and went and got the materials the same day. Him and his team got the job done really quick and showed me the fix and how to handle things in the future. I would recommend Jordan and his team for fast and quality work and will use them for anything in the future!

Extremely professional and accommodating. Turns out one of the two drains in question wasn't actually plugged up (user error, embarrassing!) but Gary was so nice about it. He was able to fix the other drain quickly. Prompt service. Highly recommend!

I woke up at 3am and saw that I had a water leak. It turned out to be my Hot water line. I turned off the water and later in the morning I call a different plumbing company and they came out and wanted $1500 and THEN charge more to replace the drywall they cut out. I was referred to Right Choice Plumbing and called them and they took great care of my plumbing. I called him at close to 5pm fully  expecting to be told they can't come out until the next day. When I told him it was the hot water line he came out that night and fixed it within no time. I will not call the big plumbing company that takes full advantage of people, instead I will call Right Choice Plumbing. They absolutely live up to their business name!!!  Thank you so much for your help.

We called Drain Control for a problem at an elderly neighbor's house. Responsive and competent business. The tech kept the area as clean as possible, did an excellent job, and explained the likely cause of the blockage. You cannot ask for anything more.

Based on Hugo's 5 star reviews I decided to use him to install my outdoor Ring camera with 2 lights. He arrived on time, was professional and we discussed the work I needed. He completed the job on time, added something extra for a better install and then made sure the camera was set up and facing the direction I wanted. Plus, he charged what he quoted my on the dollar! I was happy to give him a tip for the extra mile he went for my home. I have been looking for a handyman for odd jobs around my house and I will definitely be using Hugo again.

This was my first experience with Plumbaway and very satisfied (over the moon) with this company.  I contacted Robert on a Friday afternoon (Friday before Christmas) regarding a slow draining tub as well as a toilet making a glug-glug sound after flushing.  He said he'd try to work me in but no guarantees.  Well, he managed to get a plumber to my house after 5 p.m.  Cameron and his co-worker did a great job clearing a clog in the sewage line.  They snaked through both cleanout valves and resolved the issue.  I had questions regarding re-piping the house and Cameron was very informative about the project.  Service was professional, friendly and effective.  Also, I was charged a reasonable price given my last-minute call for help and after-hours service.  After so many disappointments with plumbers in the past, it's reassuring to know I have a go-to plumbing company now.  I look forward to hiring their services to tackle future projects.  Thanks Plumbaway Plumbing!

Used City and Beyond multiple times for plumbing issues and to install a garbage disposal. This time had clean water backed up in the bathtub.
Geovanny and his team came out on Sunday morning and found the problem came from the air conditioning unit in the attic with a blocked drainage pipe going to the bathtub. They created an access in the closet next to the bathtub so easier to work on the pipes if the need arises. They unclogged the drainage pipe.  Honest and professional. Geovanny explained the problem and took photos of the clogged pipe in the attic (see photo). Highly recommend City and Beyond!

On Christmas Eve I was made to wait at home the entire night on a promise that they were working late (I called multiple times to assure that I was being covered that night) , Only to be told via automatic text that I had been pushed back to Christmas Day . I missed a yearly gathering with my family so I could get my pipes fixed last night , I refuse to wait around all of Christmas Day on a maybe at best . Thanks for nothing y'all !!! ( Rescheduled at 10:18 pm after waiting since 6 pm )

These guys are great!  I had a few jobs around the house and EPW Services did a wonderful job.  They were fast and at a great price. I will certainly contact EPW Services for all my future plumbing needs.

I called Texas Best Plumbing for a line that was clogged and expected to be put on a list to where they could get to me as soon as possible. I was wrong they got to me within in a couple of hours of calling and everyone was super professional. Thank you so much Texas Best Plumbing for your great work and professionalism. If I ever need a plumber again, I definitely know who to call!

Everyone needs to know a great doctor and a great plumber and I have found my great plumber.  I messaged Aberle on Monday and scheduled on Tuesday for Friday and this morning got a text with pics of who was coming and when. He called to update me and explain and answered all my questions.

The jets were not working in the whirlpool tub at my rental house. I was worried it might cost twice as much or more (in which case i would have had a contractor take it out and put in a standing shower) but Josh had all the info on cost and options for me once he was able to reach the pump. Fortunately for all involved, I have been through an electrical repair before where it was the least invasive and disruptive to open the wall so I wasn't freaked out by that. He made good clean and tidy cuts which will be easy for me to float and repair.
He also took care to protect my new carpet there and respected my time and my property.

The office staff I interacted with were always polite and very responsive. That's huge to me as well as keeping me informed because I have no time to spare ever.
Great job Aberle. I am glad to be a client.

P.S. For me the mark of quality vendors is when the free estimate hits a snag (like we cannot access the area needed to diagnose) and they immediately stop and call me with what it will cost to proceed and tell me before I ask that that fee will go toward the repair if I elect to move forward, all BEFORE proceeding. Reputable companies aren't doing this to get more money out of me/you They are doing it because their time and skilled labor is also money and if they get the answer and you want a second opinion or to defer repair (or do something different as I may have) they still did work for you. Be a good client to good contractors. They appreciate it too :)

JD Precision are precisely money hungry cheaters. I never paid a penny to this company but their estimate (by Austin) was ridiculously outrageous including completely unnecessary work as proven by independent plumbers and by the equipment manufacturer.

Matt was professional and extremely competent. Did annual inspection and flushed hot water heaters in attic for me. Took care to wear booties in the house. Lost star was not for Matt or quality of service. Very expensive service ($224 with 15% discount), sometimes it's worth it to get it done right. Was scheduled as first call of AM and got bumped by a half hour, but was given an hour plus notice so I knew not to expect them. Guessing there was an emergency call. Took time to explain home care - shut off valves, that the dripping I saw was from AC and should have it checked before anything was damaged and before the busy season was in full swing.

Leaves tools behind on jobs and fails to hook up drain lines. We had to call up another company to finish their job. Poor service.

I assume that in the other websites where Abacus is getting good reviews and five stars, they must be paying the website in order to filter the bad reviews.

These are not repair people, they are sales people. Literally, five minutes after arriving at our house, the guy was already offering to change the whole unit for $18K and dead set on having us apply for a credit. Nothing was repairable according to him. In reality, it was a simple $100 repair.

If you want a salesman and feel like spending a fortune, call Abacus. If you need a real AC tech, you need to call someone else.
