Brad did a great job for us repairing a shower fixture. He showed up when scheduled, the work completed was cleanly and efficiently. We'll work worth him again when there is need. From the one experience I'd highly recommend him.

Had a very good experience with Gilbert. He was the only one who called us back when we had a nasty leak and needed help quickly. He got right to it when he arrived and pulled off a very impressive job, cutting a huge old pipe and splicing it with ease. It's a year later and the job has held up perfectly. The man does not waste time and hes really friendly. Would call again.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Called these guys for my commercial property, and they answered the phone, Chrissy was polite, they checked to see if they could see us the same day, and Curtis arrived at the scheduled time. He was great - found the issue quickly, was polite as well, and asked the right questions about the issue and my company, so he was familiar enough to ascertain what was going on. Would ask Curtis and Rooter-Man back again soon, and hope they work out well to become our regular commercial plumbing service. Thank you.

I discovered a leak beneath our kitchen sink while changing our water filters over the weekend. I made a valiant attempt to address the problem, but after some blood and sweat, if not tears, I elected to let a professional handle it.
Gabriel was willing to come out on a Sunday, which, although more costly, was much more convenient for us--and still quite reasonable. He solved the problem in a timely manner and was friendly and helpful. He also attached a separate valve so that the washing machine could be shut independently of the faucet.
We'll certainly be calling Capital City Plumbing and Drain for our future plumbing needs.

Every homeowner needs an awesome mechanic, electrician and plumber. I have 2 out of 3 nailed down (still shopping for a decent Electrician). Emilio came out on Saturday morning and did an absolutely first class job of fixing 2 massive clogs that were rendering the home unusable. He works fast, he is super professional and did great work. I won't use another plumber in Austin. Thanks to EZ Flow for sending him our way.

Although I ended up not needing a service from them, they responded with insightful information that saved me some money and didn't just try to get a sale. Trustworthy company and they will be my first reach out for future plumbing needs.

My husband and I just recently bought a house and did some extensive remodeling, including all the bathrooms. We later found out that one of the bathrooms only had hot water to it. I'm talking toilet, shower and faucet. We had 3 plumbers come by to figure out what the issue was and give us a quote. They all came back around $1k-$2k where they would have to tear up the brick outside and run lines to the bathroom or run new lines from the attic through the wall, etc. What a nightmare!
After reading Dave's reviews on Yelp I decided to call him for a quote. He came over and after an hour of problem solving, figured out a way to do it without tearing anything up. He came back out today and the bathroom is fixed...and at 1/3 of the price of the other guys! I highly recommend him and will definitely be calling him next time we need a plumber.

Abel took the time to explain the cost saving options and to break down the technical issues with our water heater. He went through a whole list of small changes to try before exploring costly repairs or replacements. He offered to come fix the heater on a Saturday because his next week was booked and didn't want us to go without hot water. I felt like I was in good hands and most importantly he fixed the issue that I had our contractors come out to fix twice!

Working with Standard Plumbing to get my water heater replaced was a breeze.
Braulio quoted me in a few hours over the Request A Quote tool on Yelp. He was one of 3 people that actually gave me a price range through the tool and not just a we can't know until we see it. His price was not only the cheapest, but he also had the first availability. (which is super important when it comes to hot showers)
After he arrived at 8:30AM the next morning, he quoted me a firm price for the install and a ballpark for the hot water heater which was dependant on Home Depot's prices. We shook hands and he was off to work.
He worked alone, but it only took a couple hours to completely install the water heater. It was way less painful than I thought it would be.. I'd recommend Braulio to anyone! But, hurry, because his business is new and I'm sure he'll be in high demand soon enough. I'm stoked I took a chance on this company with so few reviews.

We first met Jaime about 8 years ago when he was hired by our contractor to do the plumbing for a new addition on our central Austin home. He did all the work for a new master bath, added a tankless water heater and removed old cast iron plumbing from our 1940s home. Two years later he came back to reroute the plumbing in our guest bath. He did great work with both jobs and we never had any issues while we lived there.
In 2019, I referred him to a friend who was experiencing a plumbing emergency at his rental. My friend was super impressed with Jaime's responsiveness and work and was incredibly thankful to have found an honest, trustworthy plumber to help out during an incredibly stressful time.
And in February 2021, we had a pipe break in our new home after the major freeze. We were panicked that we wouldn't be able to get it fixed timely since it seemed like everyone else in Austin was dealing with the same issue, but Jaime came to the rescue the next day and fixed the busted pipe.
In the 8 years we have called on Jaime, every single experience was top notch. I don't know what I appreciate the most about him: his professionalism, the prompt communication, the excellent work or how wonderfully nice and pleasant he is. The fact that we have been able to call on him to work on every single home we have owned in Austin really speaks volumes about the quality of his business and his work. Thank you, Jaime, for always being there for us when we need you. You are the best!!!

I would call a different plumber if I were you! At first he seemed very reasonable and nice. He told me he would only charge me for his time and not mark up the equipment he had to purchase in order to fix my water heater. Near the end of the job he stated how much he spent on the equipment, which was substantially higher than what he quoted me so I asked for him to provide me the receipt. He then got very angry and told me he would try and get it for me. Shortly after our conversation he emailed me the receipt from Winsupply and something seemed off. I then called Winsupply and asked them to send me the receipt with the same purchase order. The receipts were the same except for the amount of the pump being substantially less than the receipt he provided me. It's not my place to say if he doctored the receipt from Winsupply but obviously something doesn't add up (please reach out to me if you would like to see the photos). After the job was done, I confronted him to try and understand the misunderstanding and he got furious and threaten to call the sheriff and post a lien on the property if I didn't pay. To make matters worse, after we agreed on an amount owed I signed the invoice and told him I would have a check sent to the address listed on his invoice before the end of the day. He refused and told me I had to pay with CC right now, which I refused. I will be sending him a check in the mail considering he finished the job and worked around my schedule (reason for two stars).

The night of 12/22-12/23 my heating failed. The outside temp dropped to 15 degrees. I've been with Stan's for years. Around 2am I called every hour and got the answering service saying they'll pass my message along & I'll get a callback. By 6am, i realized they're not going to call back. I starting calling & leaving online messages with 3 other companies around 6am. By 8:30 they all returned my calls. By 9am I had a service guy out here. As he was finishing up my repairs I received a call from Stan's around 12:30 pm. They said , we got a message you're having a problem. NOT ANYMORE. It's fixed no thanks to you.
I understand we were going into Christmas weekend & it was cold so they probably received a lot of repair calls. Yet, 3 other places were kind enough to give me a call back.
I sent the CEO a letter almost 2 weeks back & not a word from them. Well, screw them if I'm not important enough to have common courtesy.

I had a leaking 2nd floor shower. Plumb doctors came out, diagnosed within 10 minutes and gave me a fair quote. 1 hour later, I could shower again without a puddle on the floor. He's my new go to plumber.

Saturday morning and my yard was flooded without any rain. Plumb and Order came out when they said they would, found the leak, and repaired it with a smile. Excellent service on a holiday weekend! I highly recommend them!

Jeff and Raymond replaced the water heater in our attic . It was a tricky job. I can't say enough about what a great job they did. On time, professional, and fairly priced. These guys are tops.

Absolute best service call ever!
Just moved into a new home and the water heater light died. Mark came out immediately to address the pilot light on my water heater; after helping clear a path through the crowded garage and and unhinging the door to access it! Fixed the issue with ease, explained the new heater to me, and made recommendations.
Then he fixed my Boyfriends ALMOST perfect food disposal instillation(not even the reason I called)! Totally reasonable price, professional and friendly.
Time from call to resolution less than 90min.

Having been previously screwed over by myriad con artists and incompetents in the Austin area, I now ask these professionals if they're bonded, licensed and insured. I messaged Olvin to see if he could help fix the tile job that had been botched by one such incompetent and this was his response. Looks like I found another one.

Scott is very professional and responsive. I got the quote from Yelp within 20mins, scheduled the appointment the next day. It took him 20mins to fix the broken pipe from the ice storm, also he insulated the pipe because they are exposed outdoor. Really nicely done.

Outstanding work, great prices, and wonderful conversation.
We've had our house for over twenty years and this was the first time that we've had any plumbing work. Had several plumbing concerns and one kitchen faucet with bad shutoff valves that we wanted replaced. Did an excellent job on the faucet and replacement of the shutoff valves. Also found a problem with line to dishwasher and replaced it as well. Replaced hose to ice maker because it was showing signs of stress. On the other questions, gave us good advice on much less expensive alternative in one case and gave us good advice and better longer term solution in another case. All of that for less than I expected.
We are extremely pleased.
