They replaced a light fixture. The job was done quickly and without a mess.

Our kitchen sink clogged overnight and left a huge pile of standing water. Plumbsy was able to come in and clear the clogging water quickly, while stay a competitive pricing. He even checked some potential leakage on the piping that we didn't notice before. I really enjoy working with Kyle. Highly recommend him for any plumbing services.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND:

Had a kitchen faucet replaced (I suppled the faucet- he was cool with that). Plumber also replaced two cutoff valves-one that needed to be replaced right now and one the plumber recommended since it was old. ( He gave me a choice about whether to do second valve ) . Price was fair, comparable to other quotes. Gave me a discount on installing the new valves since it was an add-on.

Very fast next day morning service, prompt arrival at appt. time. Worked neatly (minimal spillage ) and cleaned and dried under the sink thoroughly after the job was finished.

If you have plumbing needs, call David. He is responsive and talks through the work that needs to be done. He knows what he's doing and his charges are very reasonable.

He recently came out and changed a busted water pressure reducer (buried in the yard by the curb) and a couple of expansion tanks on our water heaters. Both were old and one had started to leak, so I asked him to replace both.

He answered my calls and talked me through the work and was very good about communicating schedule and when he would come. He came when he said and did exactly what was needed for a fair price.

I woke up to an emergency water leak around the water shut off value.  I was thrilled when Wilcoxen could come out the same day.  The communication was great and the work was top notch.  They took pictures off the plumbing work before they covered it so I could see what was done.  Highly recommend Wilcoxen!

I had a strange leak on my floor in my house and called Wimberley plumbing to check it out.  I was afraid a pipe in the slab had burst.  Chris came out and diagnosed a leaky hot water heater that was allowing water to seep under the tile and carpet.  He installed a new Rheem hot water heater, but right away I began experiencing spurting and spewing from the hot water faucets in that end of the house.  I called Wimberley Plumbing and talked to J.D., who told me that it is a rare occurrence, but Rheem uses a magnesium diode rod and sometimes the magnesium they use is defective and any complaint or problem I have is  between me and Rheem.  I told J.D. I had bought a brand new hot water heater from him and why should I bear that expense.  His response was that he shouldn't have to bear that expense, either.  He said I could buy an aluminum diode rod and he would work with me and just charge me a half-hour labor charge to install it.  I called Rheem and explained my problem to them.  They said the water heater had a year's factory warranty and they could not believe the installing plumber would not honor that.  To keep me from being left holding the bag Rheem sent a new anode rod to my house and arranged for another qualified plumber to come and install it--all at no cost to me.  They also said since Wimberley Plumbing apparently would not honor the warranty that Rheem would bear that responsibility for the remainder of that year.

Courteous and professional service. He was quick to return messages, arrived on time and got the job done for a reasonable price.  You can't ask for much more than that.  Highly recommended.

Wilson's is the best!  They come out quickly, they do a GREAT job, their prices are reasonable, and they are super friendly, too.  I have used Wilson's for a couple of years now, both at my home and my business, and have never been disappointed.

I don't review much, only when something is exceptional or so bad I want to warn others, the service from Bill Sanchez falls into the exceptional category. I had to call them for work on our septic line at my business, the service we received was great. Plumber was very helpful and honest. Later when I needed a plumber for my home I was sure to call them again and couldn't be happier with all the help I received.

This review is long overdue, but I guess that means that I can testify to the work holding up well. Like some other reviews, I was also referred to Tony and Armadillo by Blue Dragon, who was also great. Since then we have hired Armadillo twice. First, he came out to replace our shower valves, one of which had sprung a leak. Not only did he do the repair, he referred me to someone to do the required tile work and repair the sheetrock damaged by the leak. We couldn't have been happier.
Next, I called Tony back to fix some issues with our water heater recirculating system that hadn't consistently worked right since the install 15 years prior. All is fixed and now we have hot water, no many how many people are in the shower.
As far as price, I didn't really shop around, but the quotes both seemed fair to me.
Would (and have) recommend without hesitation.

My heater was broken a few weeks ago and the temp was in the 30s. I tried to call other companies but they told me they couldn't come out for a few days. I called Woods Comfort Systems and their response was hours, not days!! And their service techs even where little shoe covers to protect your property. Now my heater's been running great, the pricing was very reasonable, and I would definitely recommend this company to any of my friends and family!!

We had a sink that was stopped up.  I called Rod Plumbing and they had a young man named Alex Sosa show up.  He arrived about 15 minutes after my initial call.  Alex went right to work and had a problem fixed in less than 10 minutes.  He listened to my explanation of the problem, was more than polite and took care of the problem quickly and efficiently.  Rod Plumbing and Alex will be at the top of my list when I need a plumber again!!!

I'd heard great things from neighbors, posting in Nextdoor. What I failed to recognize was that each of those recommendations was around an emergency. We all love a hero.  

I needed a simple toilet installation in an existing bathroom. My appointment was for 1:30 and I received a text stating it would be closer to 2:15, I said ok. At 2;30 the plumber arrived.  At 4:15, I was nervous because I had a brief appointment. So, that was rescheduled.  At 4:45 I was super nervous because I had a 5o'clock appointment that was unbreakable.  

Just before 5, the owner showed up and I mentioned I was feeling frustrated. I told him I had someplace to be and he said they could have rescheduled, had they known I was in a hurry.  The upshot, $315 for one toilet replacement and a shrug. Some jobs just take longer.

I called at about 9:30am with a leaking, malfunctioning defective water heater that was only a few years old.

They showed up within 2 hours, had a brand new version of the same model and brand, they checked the manufacturing date on my old one, feb of 2014, it's in warranty, we'll exchange it for you, you only pay labor.

Have a new working water heater by noon, can't believe it, for about a third of what I was quoted by several others for total cost.

Best experience with emergency home repair, ever.

Update: had another issue with the water heater that turned out to be electrical in nature, Joel was the plumber who showed up on time and was extremely friendly, organized, efficient and knowledgeable.

I highly recommend this company, and I'm not easy to please.

Stay away from Salt Light & Electric! They wanted to charge me more than $6,000 for a new electric panel, which would not have solved my problem. Fortunately I found another honest electrician who discovered the problem was a lack of connection on the city's power side. Final cost to me $0 after Austin Electric replaced the connections on their end. Unfortunately, I had already paid Salt Electric more than $300 to check my power outlets on their first trip, which did nothing to resolve the problem. Salt's annual membership fee to obtain a lower price for services also is a huge red flag.

Owner of company (Eusebio) hardly returns calls. He is not personable and is completely hands off. Jorge, his brother on the other hand is the profesional one. He picks up calls, he is resourceful and helpful and does the work on a timely manner.
All you want is for Jorge to be in charge of your project.
