I only had a small problem and he was able o help me over the phone by instructing me how I can fix it myself. Other companies wanted to come by for quite some money but Doug is the greatest. He does a good job, is funny at times, and he gives people a chance to fix it themselves before coming over and charging money. I would recommend that you call him first before you get some of these other companies.

I had the water sensor alarm go off and reached out to Lakeway Plumbing based on reviews and response time. Erik reached out right away and upon arrival, took complete ownership of the problem and resolution (called the manufacturer, arranged for a replacement, etc.). As a single mom, this is invaluable!
Thank you Erik!

Me. Plumber did an outstanding job today for an extremely reasonable price. I am very satisfied with the quality of their work and the care they took with my house. Very highly recommend these guys. Formerly Steve's Plumbing! Rosendo and his helper are awesome for sure.

Plumbing and HVAC calls can be intimidating, but our experience with TX AC was terrific. Johnny and the team took time to answer our questions, the whole process was streamlined and efficient, and install very timely. Everyone passed our Gizmo (dog) sniff test, which further validated we were in great hands. Highly recommend and will continue to use going forward if issues arise!!

Mike has been my plumber for years except for a period when I lost his phone number and tried the number posted on Yelp. His business is NOT closed. It was just my good luck that I ran into him one day and got his number again. As great a plumber as he is, he simply does not advertise beyond having a business card. His phone number is 512-626-8036. Do yourself a favor and hang onto that number.

Apparently they are contracted with Old Republic Home Warranty and were scheduled to re-connect my newly replaced pool heater between 9 and 10 am. At 9:11 am I went to put a note on the front door to let him know to knock on the door if I didn't hear the door bell, to find his card in the door. I immediately called his mobile number listed on the card (9:12 a.m.) and apologized for not hearing the doorbell. He said that it was too late and that he was leaving town. I asked him to please come back since it was my daughters birthday the next day and she was having a swimming party and the pool was 60 degrees. He said, I'm not going to argue with you. You can call Old Republic and tell them! WOW! 12 minutes and he couldn't have even been out of my neighborhood yet...certainly close enough to come back to screw in the two pipes that were already there in order to re-connect the heater to the gas line so we could have heated the pool! It might have taken him a total of 10 minutes to do and I had ALL of the parts already! He was very rude, impatient and I will NEVER do business with them again!

I had an extreme emergency when I came home from work Thursday. I had nowhere to turn. I got on the nextdoor appt to find a local plumber. 1st ac and plumbing came highly recommended, so i crossed my fingers and called. Luckily, they had on call people who were close by. Within 1/2 hour the plumber came, he checked everything. It was an ac problem, so he called the ac on call guy, who came within 1/2 hour of that. Everything was figured out, and presented to me with a fair price for the evening. I took the night to consider how I wanted to proceed with repairs. Calls and texts were returned quickly and obscure questions answered respectfully. I felt like they didnt give up on me and our problem, that we would be in good hands. Ac arrived on time and worked all day until matter resolved. Great job from John, Junior and Ryan. I am definitely adding this company to my cell phone contacts. Thanks 1st plumbing.

We purchased our water softener several months ago and we have been very happy with the quality of the product and the customer service. During the installation, our technician bent over backwards to make our install go as smoothly as possible. We had an that came up shortly after having to do with the wireless connectivity on the unit, but that too was resolved without any hassles. Would highly recommend and you will love the reliable unit. 5 stars all the way.

I've had to call Jon at American Eagle twice: once for an emergency leaking kitchen sink valve that wouldn't shut off, and last week for two leaking sinks and a rusted On/Off sprinkler valve. Twenty-one year old house, everything has an expiry date. All three issues required new sections of pipe and new valves. Jon also spotted a couple of other issues and wrote everything up, explained the charges to me, and then I picked the most immediate problems for him to fix.
I wasn't prepared to get a new hot water heater but it's good to know I need to watch it. Jon is quick, responsive, careful, professional, and cleans everything up. I highly recommend American Eagle.

Tony and his G.I.S. team did a great job removing our old countertop and installing our apron front farmhouse sink! It was not a routine job and several other contractors I contacted for quotes would not even consider the job once they learned it would involve altering the existing kitchen island. The large/over-sized sink required extensive reinforcement that the G.I.S. team framed up nicely. Once the new countertop is delivered and installed I will post pictures of the final results. The G.I.S. team was professional and easy to work with. It is difficult to find a good contractor that can do it all (carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, etc.). Happy that I now have a trusted go to source. Highly recommended!!

Wow! Honest, knowledgeable, and skilled plus great customer service. We recommend them to anyone based on our wonderful experience. Our yard line cracked, and we had to turn off the water. Plumb Masters was recommended to us by another great plumber since he was too booked up to help us right away. They came out very promptly, explained what was needed clearly, and even offered ways to make the job less expensive. Their work was expert and their communications courteous and kind throughout. We will use them again for sure!

The staff at Lanier are friendly and professional. They have been out several times to fix plumbing in my house and I have been pleased with the service. If you have an emergency plumbing problem, they may not be able to accommodate you though. I called on a Sunday and they couldn't send anyone out, but maybe they just determined that my running toilet wasn't an emergency.

I had a cracked main sewer line which had previously been repaired by ARS several years ago. I contacted C&K initially to clear the line, which they did within a day of contacting them. At the time, they also diagnosed the issue- roots getting into the drain within a foot of the access point.
I told Matt of C&K the ARS warranty was still good and I would contact them for repair. I contacted ARS, was told someone would call me back- no one did. A few days later I called again, was told someone would contact me- no one did. I called one more time, same thing, no one ever called me back. I could not wait much longer to get this repaired and had to clean the line again.
Since ARS never responded I called C&K about the repair and was able to schedule it about 4 days out. I had planned to take out the shrubs around the access point anyway and asked C&K if they would work with me on the price if I did the initial digging and they agreed. I was told the amount would vary depending on how much I was able to get done.
They showed up on time and got to work. I had dug far enough to find the issue. It wasn't a crack in the pipe, it was the sleeve ARS put on that had slid off. ARS had told me they put on a flexible joint that would prevent settling of dirt/foundation to crack the pipe again. Well, it didn't crack- their repair didn't hold.
C&K finished up in a couple of hours, completely redesigned the line to take pressure off the joint and said the way it had been done previously was going to fail due to lack of proper installation and not properly packing the dirt upon completion. The picture is the ARS failed joint, I was so happy I forgot to take pictures of the new line......oops. Essentially, they moved the flexible portion off of a 45 degree and placed it on a straight pipe to allow for movement but without the pressure of the angle. It made sense to me.
I will use C&K from here on out for plumbing and refer them to others. They were prompt, courteous, and fair with pricing. They reduced the repair costs since I had dug the hole. It was more than I had originally thought it might be too.
If you have plumbing issues, definitely give C&K a call.

I didn't use Supreme plumbing for my hot water heater emergency. They contacted me within 2 hours of me texting. This was on a Sunday morning at 7a. They were the 2nd plumber to contact me. Went with the first, which responded in one hour. I will have them at the top of my list for any future plumbing emergencies.

Seriously! I have found my plumber for the rest of the time I live in Elgin (although I hope to never need him again). So it turns out I did not have a slab leak, instead the builder put the water line UNDER the driveway! It is about 1 1/2 feet in. My roommate dug and dug until he found the leak and cleaned the area all around it. I called Mike and let him know what was going on. He went staright out to my house, fixed the leak and called me to tell me it was $100 even and he would just leave me a bill. He also said if I leave him the paperwork from the city to try to recoup some of my super high bill, he would sign it and leave it on the front door.
After speaking to so many plumbers in the past few weeks it is refreshing to know I have a good, honest plumber I can count on from now on!
