It only figures that on one of the four days that Austin dips below freezing, our gas furnace went out. Isn't that always the way? But wait, it gets better! It goes out right before a weekend, thus ensuring two long days in which we emerged from our heated blankets only for such necessities as brushing our teeth and the like.
We needed heat, toute suite.
First, we called one of the bigger local shops. You know -- one of the ones whose vans you see all over the city? They came out, did some poking around on our old unit, and told us pretty unequivocally that we needed an entire new HVAC system which they would be all too happy to sell us for the low, low price of $6,000.00.
After we regained consciousness, we (at the suggestion of my oh-so-level headed girlfriend) called TACS. They're right up the road, they're small, they had a great Yelp rating. The technician Brent came out that very day, did his own poking around, and found that our heater's malady was nothing more than a frayed bit of rubber hose connected to the blower. He trimmed the frayed part off the end, and didn't even charge us for the call. The heater works just fine!
These guys are life savers.

Mike has been my plumber for years except for a period when I lost his phone number and tried the number posted on Yelp. His business is NOT closed. It was just my good luck that I ran into him one day and got his number again. As great a plumber as he is, he simply does not advertise beyond having a business card. His phone number is 512-626-8036. Do yourself a favor and hang onto that number.

Richard and his crew have never let me down. Excellent work, great communication, always tells me exactly what is going on. He just replaced our ancient, crumbling water line to our house. Lots of problems to solve, and I know it will last for ages.

Jimmy showed up right on time and answered all questions I had. Quality workmanship on our plumbing needs.

I've used these guys 3 or 4 times over the last 6 years or so for plumbing issues. I've had a different plumber each time, and each time they were courteous and knowledgeable. While plumbers aren't cheap, I felt their costs were reasonable, and in light of the fact they fixed my problems with no issues, their costs were a very good deal. I felt comfortable with each of the plumbers and felt like I could trust what they were telling me. Dan was my most recent technician and he seemed like a pretty good dude. I'll call them again with no hesitation for my next plumbing issue.

Just had ANOTHER great experience with Alamo Water Softeners. They installed our system at the time our house was built, and do the maintenance on replacing filters in the two Reverse Osmosis units we had installed. ALWAYS on time, ALWAYS do a complete and thorough job.
Highly recommend them.

Spoke with the coordinator and set up an appt. for two days later. No one ever showed, called or texted. I left a message and no call back. Very unprofessional.

Called Plumb Masters to come out to unclog a shower and tub drain as well as fix incorrect plumbing under the kitchen sink. Graham Priester was assigned, showed up on time, expediently fixed both issues in record time, explained in thorough detail the issues at hand and cleaned up the areas before leaving. Fantastic work and I am very pleased with the result. Would highly recommend Graham for any future work.

This is my second time to use Lanier. Both times I found them to go beyond the call of duty both in customer service and their work. It is nice to have this family business in Austin.

Pre-plumb loop installation
When Claude came to give an estimate he said they may have to dig from the main line and all the way to the end of the garage so the quote was $1500.
But on the day of installation there is no digging or anything
They just connected to the existing pipeline inside my garage
If you have not done that additional work why was the quote so high?
When called the company and asked for it they said it is for the job and not for the labour.. (even though the quote was based on labour for digging)
I understand that you are trying to make money but this is not fair.
You have to charge based on the labor involved and adjust the price accordingly if the task is completed with less labor work.
If you are going through them ask them the exact work they are going to do and then cross check wether it is worth spending the amount or not.

Can't say enough. I'm a single mom, recently divorced dealing with a house that has all kinds of maintenance issues Im just getting my head around. One night around midnight with three kids in bed, I had a major plumbing crisis ... toilets overflowing...septic backing up. I looked for a recommended emergency plumber on a neighborhood listserve. I found supreme plumbing. This kid responded immediately to my text and showed up first thing the next morning after explaining to me that night how to mitigate the immediate crisis. He is super professional, more knowledgeable than any plumber I've ever used, and completely transparent/ upfront about costs.
We had a pretty complicated plumbing-septic mess that had been going on for a while that no one before could figure out. Supreme plumbing finally got it solved without charging me a fortune.

This company did the plumbing install on our new house. We had problems from the start. We had out clean out clogged several times. Finally the city came out and ran a camera through the pipe. Their report was shocking and acurate.
The pipe had unnecessary bends, was crushed with a large rock and root, and had a blocked off y fitting in the section. What a joke. Totally Inane...
