This review is way overdue.. we have a house with a grinder pump which is something that strikes fear in the heart of homeowners because of the costs associated with them. When ours went out, my husband tried to fix it himself but by 430PM it was clear that wasn't going to happen. I called Lantz's and Tiffany was so sweet and friendly and no kidding- had someone at our house in less than 10 minutes! They identified the issue, were able to get the part and came earlier than expected the next day to do a great job. I can't say enough about their friendly, reliable service- all at a reasonable price. I hope I don't have a plumbing issue in the near future, but when I do, they'll be whom I call.

These guys were great.  I had a broken sewer line under my house.  S&D came out and figured out the best place to break through the slab and tunnel under the house.  They wanted to impact me as little as possible.
They ended up going through the utility room floor and had to tunnel about 6 feet.  They tunneled under and fixed it in just a few days.  It was horrible dirty work, but they were polite and upbeat every time I spoke to them.  They cleaned up after themselves and even stayed late the day they got the line repaired and called me at 8 pm to let me know I could come back home and use the plumbing.  Zach was my contact onsite and was great.

David and his team are excellent. They arrived quickly and assessed the situation honestly. They were able to find the leak and replace all the necessary parts at very reasonable prices. I highly recommend this company!

These folks are great and I would recommend them to anyone. I'd originally reached out for help with an old water heater & the inspection/estimate service was great. At the time they didn't do tankless so I couldn't work with them but the plumber was so friendly & helpful. Years later when I needed maintenance on the tankless they were able to help out with maintenance. They were easy to schedule, very communicative, on time, did the work & threw in some extra fixes at no additional charge. I will definitely call them next time I need a plumber.

I was remodeling a house the last two weeks of the year, in a rush, during the holidays, and Andre was always responsive and completely competent and helped me get everything ready for move-in on time. He's completely knowledgeable, a hard worker, and a heck of a nice guy. Now I'm going to have him back to talk about an outdoor shower I've dreamed up.  I can't recommend him enough for any and all plumbing jobs!

We had several issues that needed taken care of & they got to us within one day.  And, to make it more crazy, they were to go to my moms to fix a leaking bathroom sink, leaking & running toilet & a problem with an outside faucet...plus drain a hot water heater. The night before the appointment my husband was working in our yard & hit a water line ... yep .... I called them & they came to our house the next morning instead & still managed to get to my moms as scheduled that day.  We were so impressed with their promptness, courtesy, efficiency & overall good work.  We will use Lee Whiteaker Plumbing from now on.  Big shoutout to MO for returning all my calls & to the guy who came to our homes & did the work.  Thank you so much!!!

If I could give a neg * review I would. We have a 1/2 bath in our main level. We had the tile flooring removed and to do that had to move the toilet and the sink. The toilet was professionally put back with a new wax ring. The sink was a basic reinstall hooking up the water and drain pipe. Ever since the sink we removed we have had a sewer odor coming from the bathroom. We called Cowboy plumbing to identify the cause. We removed the sink again and even cut away the drywall around the pipes to allow him to see what was there.
They responded the next day and when he arrived he spent 5 mins in the house and told us to keep the pee trap full of water!  Obviously that wasn't the problem. But they charged us $125 for the service call. I called them back and was told they could come again but if he finds another problem it could cost us again?  
Call someone else. Don't use this service. I'm a very unhappy customer and they made no attempt to solve the problem they should have investigated the first time. I hate to give such bad reviews but this poor service deserves one so others aren't taken advantage of like I feel we were.

Our drains started backing up and after a few DIY tries, I finally called Joe. He quickly responded over text and came over to take a look, immediately identifying a collapsed pipe w/ tree roots on the city side. We were able to get the city out to fix the issue the next day thanks to Joe!

Had a fast and good experience with A& A plumbing. Had a water leak in my yard of a main water line. Quick response and service. A bit expensive ($475) but good job done. Job was completed quickly and on a Saturday of a holiday weekend. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Wore a mask. Cleaned up area.

Collie was my service rep and he is great. He helped troubleshoot our water heater problems and even guided us through warranty coverage. They were also there to help us through the lake floods last fall. Highly recommend them.

We are new to the area and one of the joys of home ownership is all the repairs that come with it.  Our water heater was leaking water all over and a quick call to Mike was all it took to get it fixed.  He came in on a Saturday, on time and was so fast in replacing the whole water heater I was stunned!!  He also took the old one and was so courteous and made us feel at ease.

Mike did an excellent job. Very nice and professional. Was able to fix the problem quickly.

Our plumber arrived on the early side of the timeframe given, was pleasant and professional, and got the damaged toilet switched out for a new one in less than 30 minutes. He asked me to inspect the job, I saw that the seat was a little crooked, and he adjusted that in about 2 minutes.

This is our second experience with Mr. Rooter of New Braunfels, and both have been great.

They made an appt to show up to fix my plumbing issue between 2-4 PM.  NEVER SHOWED UP!  I called the owner and asked where they were and he said that he would check and call me back in two minutes.  After 45 minutes, I called him and the call went straight to voicemail.  I missed an entire afternoon of work to meet them.  I will never call them again.

The proposal process was great. I just sent them a picture of the job side.
Joaquin came on time as agreed. Very professional, took any precaution you can think off to keep my our house clean and safe.
The job was done in no time. And the best part, they stayed within the original estimate. Great job, well done and very competitive pricing.

Called these guys to have my water heater changed. They quoted the price and scheduled me next morning. Nice!
I take a day off to let them in. Next thing I get a phone call from them, and they say it'll cost more to bring it up to code and make it legal. How much more exactly? The couldn't tell. Can you stop by and give an estimate? Not until next week.
Apparently normally whatever they do is illegal and you have to pay extra to make it legal. Way to go!

I will start by saying this was one of the worst service experiences I have had with any business in any industry. Here's what happened:

My toilet was suddenly not flushing well this week. After clearing a few separate clogs with a plunger, I decided there must be a blockage and called Reliant to check it out. They scheduled service the very next day and a tech arrived on time. After running a camera through the sink (not the toilet), the tech informed me that I have valleys in the pipes running under my foundation. He explained these valleys cause standing water that disrupt the proper functioning of the plumbing system, and concluded that this was the most likely root cause of my flushing issue.

When I asked if he should also check the toilet before recommending that I let Reliant dig under my house to address the valleys, he briefly acknowledged that I could have him snake ($500) or pull the toilet ($1,200) before explaining that if I didn't address the valleys quickly, the problem would get worse and end up costing me much more.

When I asked if he could run the camera through the toilet instead of the sink to determine if snaking or pulling the toilet was necessary, he said the camera could not negotiate the sharp turns inside the toilet drain. He also discouraged the snake option because it's not guaranteed to clear a blockage if there is one. At this point, I decided I was going to either investigate the problem further myself or call another plumber for a second opinion. (My plumbing system has had absolutely no issues in the 6 years that I've lived here and it seemed like something more acute than sagging pipes was probably at play). The tech said that was certainly an option, but insisted he write up a formal estimate before leaving. I agreed, assuming he would quote the snake and toilet removal options. Instead, he provided me an estimate to correct the valleys in the pipes. THE QUOTE WAS FOR $73K!

After he left, I pulled the toilet myself and found a pair of my son's eyeglasses lodged in the bottom. I bought a new wax ring from Home Depot ($10) and re-installed the toilet. It now works perfectly. Altogether, the repair cost me $10 and 2 hours of my time, including the trip to Home Depot. I'm certain Reliant could have done it in even less time.

I don't doubt that I have valleys in my pipes. And at some point, I may need to address them. However, I think it's absurd that the tech would choose to focus entirely on a $73K solution without exhausting all other possibilities first. I would never trust this company to diagnose another plumbing issue and I strongly advise you to do the same.
