I called Lantz's plumbing from LakeTravisPlumbing.com and left a message on a Friday afternoon, and someone called me back Saturday morning (he called me from a noisy location and I couldn't hear the name of whoever called) and I set up an appointment for 1pm, as we had two faucets leaking.
At 1pm, two very young men pulled up in Lantz's plumbing van. I'm guessing they were about 20 years old. They came in and got to work. The bathroom faucet was leaking because it had the wrong type of plastic pea trap installed. I don't know why the kitchen faucet was leaking, but I believe it was missing a part (in retrospect, I should have exchanged the faucet).
These two young men spent THREE HOURS messing around with the plumbing. One of them stood around cussing in our kitchen. The two of them were having loud conversations that mostly went, F--- this and F---ing that. Lots of bad language, and after three hours I was frantic for them to leave.
They presented me with a bill for $409 for fixing the leak at two faucets and checking the existing plumbing connections. This job would have taken a competent plumber less than an hour.
I asked the boys if they thought that was fair, if they'd done $409 worth of work, and they shrugged and said yes, and that I could contact their boss.
I sent Lantz's plumbing an email (using the contact form on their website at LakeTravisPlumbing.com) and it's been 4 days and no one has replied. Obviously, I'm very upset, and would recommend that you NOT ever use this company for your plumbing needs.

I can't afford S&D again. I have a rental house, which is my old residence, in Manor, TX. I have a new tenant that moved in, and she informed me both toilets were running and one of the bath tubs was draining real slow. I called S&D and was told the Service charge was $79 or something like that. In fairness to my review, the guy did call me and tell me that the toilets both needed a minor rebuild, which would run $382 for both (after i bought the $99 membership which would give me a discount) and to fix the drain was $100. To say i was shocked would be an understatement, but rather than pay the service charge and try and get someone else out, i agreed. Their minor rebuild was no more than changing the water control valve portion for both toilets. That's it. Probably a $30 part, times two. I paid $382. think about that. plus the $99 membership to get the discount. Then i paid $100 for Total C drain cleaner. $582 for two running toilets and a slow draining tub. The guy was there less than an hour. As i said, they did disclose the price up front, and the worker was nice and effcient...but if I were you i would let me costly lessen benefit you and i would certainly try elsewhere if you are having what I would consider small plumbing issues. the money you save may be well worth the effort.

David is responsive, prompt, hard-working, friendly, and knows his business. He replaced a toilet, unblocked the world's most clogged drain (a gift left behind by the previous owner of my house) which involved climbing onto my roof (!), and replaced 60-year-old outdoor faucet heads. I had such a positive experience that I've asked him to come back to replace my other toilet, to deal with a corroded and leaking outdoor pipe, and to do some more un-clogging of sinks.
I have had more downs than ups with most contractors, etc. and it is SO refreshing to find someone you can rely on to get the job done efficiently and cost-effectively. I will be calling David from now on if I have any other plumbing needs.

Austin Plumbery is definitely a five-star company. They are professional, timely, and have reasonable rates. I have used them for my home and for the campus that I manage. Joe was very patient and accommodating through my recent bathroom remodel. He had to come multiple times, and it was always with a smile. Plus, it's a female-owned business, and I am one for supporting women in the trades.

My daughter tried to flush one of her Disney toys down the toilet so we had a problem. I called Cowboy and gave them our available times for a service call and they were out the next morning. They were on time, friendly, and gave me my options/pricing up front. They were able to clear the pipes and get us back to normal. Highly recommended.

Rick is great! He's laid-back (but on time!) and easy to work with. He is also polite, extremely professional, and knows his stuff. He came out to correct plumbing problems left over from a bad remodel. He knew right away how to fix the problem and his price was quite reasonable. I am very happy with his work and highly recommend him.

Great experience with this company! Their receptionist staff was very friendly, clear, and communicated exactly what to expect. I received both an email and text reminder about my appointment, plus a call on the day-of when the tech was 30min away, and a text with a photo of the tech coming to do the repair, so I knew whom to expect knocking on my door. Tech Chris Green was very friendly and courteous. He clearly explained what he planned to do, the cost, and how long it would take. Will definitely use their services again and definitely recommend this company.

While it took a while to get on the schedule, it was well worth it. I had been used to plumbers from our builder that were less than desirable to hire again. The hill country guys were courteous, respectful, and hate to say it, but had all their teeth :D. My biggest regret is that we didnt have them when we built as they are fantastic and please dont waste your time if you have a plumbing issue, call them and let them impress you!

It's sometimes hard to find a reliable plumber. Most plumbers in my area seem to not return my call or make it hard to schedule.
Mr Rooter always answers and has someone to send out. Had two gentlemen come help me remove and water heater and bathtub and they made quick work of the task, were very polite and informed and answered all of my questions about moving forward and what to do next with my bathroom remodel. Price was very reasonable.
Moving forward with any plumbing issues, will be using Mr Rooter.

SAME DAY SERVICE! One of the owners, Joaquin, came out and installed my dishwasher. Not only was he fast, he was so nice, courteous, loves animals and kids and enjoys nice conversation. (his sweet mama recommended him to me!) Great job and great recommendations for other plumbing issues I wanted to know about.

Had an external broken water pipe as the result of yesterday's snap freeze - and it also impacted one of our interior faucets, so we had to turn off water to the whole house. As you can imagine, most other plumbers were unresponsive due to the number of homes impacted by the freeze - but Penningtons got us on their schedule, called ahead to let us know they were on their way, and arrived on time, as promised. Calvin was really thoroughl and got the problem addressed, rewrapped the insulation to prevent a reoccurrence, and then checked again for any other internal leaks. Excellent service all round. I will definitely call Penningtons first in the future should we need a plumber again - and I am very happy to recommend them to other clients.

We had a leaking faucet. We called Reliant and they came out the next day. Ray and his associate were very knowledgeable and did a great explaining the work to be done. We would recommend Ray and his team to anyone.
