I've used S&D Plumbing on two occasions, and both times they went above and beyond to fix my issue! I have a troublesome tub which has given me great grief over the past year. The plumbing configuration is awful, and requires us to pull out our bathroom vanity each time we have to access the pipes. On the first occasion that S&D plumbing visited my home, it was discovered that my drain pipe had disconnected to the tub. Unfortunately, our tub is cultured marble and was probably a custom job when it was made. The result was that the slope to the drain wasn't correct so it made it very hard to replace the drain and have it connect to the pipe. At one point, I had three workers from S&D plumbing in my bathroom trying to figure out a solution. At this point, they had already been at my home for several hours (they also replaced my faucets/knobs which is what added to the time). It was finally decided that they couldn't replace the drain because they would need a special part which would need to be ordered. They left, and I was disappointed knowing that I would not be able to use my tub for quite some time. Thirty minutes after they left, Dan (one of the owners) showed back up to my door (on a FRIDAY) with a part he found stashed in their inventory. Twenty minutes later my problem was fixed.
The second time they came out was to replace the shower diverter which had snapped off. Unfortunately (again!) the handle required an authentic delta cartridge which had to be special ordered because it was uncommon. When they came out to finish the job, Ronnie worked diligently to get the diverter assembled and working correctly again. He even had to leave to go look at an assembly print because the cartridge did not come with a screw that would hold the assembly together. He returned soon after and finished the job.
All of the staff that I have dealt with are very nice and courteous. They can be on the pricey side, but they do such good work that I don't mind paying it knowing that my issue will be repaired properly.

We had a faucet start to leak in our guest bathroom and living in a condo, you really, really, don't want to have leaks because they can damage more than just your unit!
I had heard about Austin Plumbery when they won an Austin Women's Magazine award as a woman-owned, Austin-based business, so I decided to give them a try.
Same day service. Travis showed up after calling to say he was on his way, pulled the faucet and said that he thought he could fix it.
This would be great because we would save buying a new faucet and the service call of bringing him back out to install it. It is a very tight little space to work in!
He fixed it, tested it thoroughly, and then reinstalled it and was pleasant professional throughout. We will be calling on Austin Plumbery again the next time we need help!
Oh, as an additional piece of information, this has to be the most responsive company I have dealt with in ages when it comes to communicating by text and email. Love it!

Our water heater went out right before getting company and so we needed a quick response time! They were able to come out the same day and got it done quickly. Great experience from beginning to end!! Couldn't be happier with the service! They communicated well, very personable, family owned business! Love helping small companies grow! I would recommend them in a heartbeat! They work efficiently and are very friendly. Biggest thing is they guarantee their work and have a great warranty on a good product which speaks volumes!

We are new to having a septic system. Suddenly none of our toilets would flush. I called 3 plumbing companies and nine could help us for 8-10 weeks or just not at all. One of Those companies told me to call cowboy. They were very responsive and friendly. They fixed my septic clog in just a few minutes. I'm now a loyal customer

Our drains started backing up and after a few DIY tries, I finally called Joe. He quickly responded over text and came over to take a look, immediately identifying a collapsed pipe w/ tree roots on the city side. We were able to get the city out to fix the issue the next day thanks to Joe!

Collie was my service rep and he is great. He helped troubleshoot our water heater problems and even guided us through warranty coverage. They were also there to help us through the lake floods last fall. Highly recommend them.

City of Killeen replaced my shut off valve a couple of months ago. This month I go to pay my water bill and noticed that I have used 3X my normal water usage. I checked the main valve and it's under water. I call the city. Of course the water leak is on my side of the meter and could not be caused by them replacing the shut off valve. Called A to Z plumbing. Was quoted 450.00 to repair. Got the impression the guy didn't really want the job. Called My Plumbing. He showed me where the new shut off valve sat higher than my water line and was connected in a downward slant which cause the stress and subsequent leak in the water line. He replaced and raised my water line connection so that is level again. Total cost 285.00. Same day service and more reasonably priced. Will definitely recommend to family and friends.

I received a notice that my back flow system was due for the annual inspection. After finding the list of contractors in the area that performed this service I gave A & D Backflow a call. They were friendly and professional. They also were able to complete the inspection that same day. They notified me that the inspection had been completed and I was able to pay the invoice with Apple Pay. I was very happy with this quick friendly service. He even took a photo of a shed snake skin he found hanging on the valve to warn me to be careful of snakes.

Our plumber arrived on the early side of the timeframe given, was pleasant and professional, and got the damaged toilet switched out for a new one in less than 30 minutes. He asked me to inspect the job, I saw that the seat was a little crooked, and he adjusted that in about 2 minutes.
This is our second experience with Mr. Rooter of New Braunfels, and both have been great.

On memorial day the high winds pushed a branch from a bush covering our irrigation system valve and broke the feed to the valve. I have had such bad experience with all forms of contractors that I usually do all repairs myself; electrical, plumbing, carpentry, etc. However, its just too hot and I am too busy, so I got some referrals from my neighbors and called all the potential contractors. In the end, Connley won my business by following up to my call, and questions. That's the 1st test -- communication.
Also, being capable of the work myself, Connley gave me a small discount realizing that I was on the fence and he had to be more competitive that the other contractors. This was the 2nd test -- flexibility in pricing.
Next, he arrived on time, was respectful, spoke clearly, articulate and listened to me, so I didn't have to explain things 3 times.
Lastly, he finished the repair, tested the water pressure, gave me time to verify things were working, in other words, he wasn't in a rush and left when the job was complete. I personally inspected the work, I am not a plumber, but I develop complex electromechanical systems, and even gluing a couple PVC pipes together can be done in a good or bad way.
Finally, he reviewed the work with me, showed me some mechanical aspects of the valve assembly for future testing and told me about the warranty (3 years, parts and labor) -- can't beat that.
In conclusion, Cannon Plumbing & Drain LLC, is a great local, owner operated business and not a large firm with sub-contractors. With Cannon, seems like you are going to get much better service since reviews like this can make or break the business :) Of course, Connley can only be in one place at a time, so you might need to wait a couple days for an appointment, but I would wait rather than use a larger service.
I definitely will use Cannon again, hopefully, I don't have to call them any time soon though, and nothing else breaks!

Excellent service! Received a quote within minutes and had service within hours. Would easily recommend this plumber to a friend or family member. They came out before a holiday weekend and were honest and upfront about costs, expectations, and arrival time.

Awesome!!! We noticed our water heater was leaking at 3 o'clock today (Saturday) and called Chris. He showed up in 30 minutes. He assessed the situation and was back by 6:00 with a brand new one. He installed it with great effeciancy. He was extremely professional and knowledgable. And best of all his price was very reasonable. I couldn't be happier.
