Lantz's Lakeside Plumbing and AC Plumbing Service
This company was referred to us by a very pleased client. We had a busted valve o a holding tank during the deep freeze of Feb 2021. He got to us ASAP and did a super job of getting our water back on. Reliable and Trustworthy. We will use him again when necessary. His price was reasonable and we appreciate how he took care of us. Thanks.

S & D Plumbing Plumbing Service
Absolutely great company. We have been in Austin for a few years now, and have basically called around every time to find any plumber who can come the soonest. That's how we ended up with S & D Plumbing, and I am now singing a loyalty tune. S & D guys were awesome. They fixed a broken/frozen pipe,  replaced faucet, and did a full inspection of plumbing issues in our house with some great suggestions. The plumbers were fast, efficient, and did a great job of showing me exactly what was wrong and how they were going to take care of it. I joined their membership (which may sounds like a gimmick, but it isn't!) -- you get a nice discount, priority scheduling, and the annual inspection. That inspection set us up with an explanation and solution for our bpoorly-draining sinks (in the past, 3 separate plumbers were not helpful with those milder but annoying issues). Price was fair and the guys were friendly, professional, and to be honest, pleasant to have around! Thank you, S & D!  I'd like to say I look forward to the next visit, but let's hope it's later than sooner (lol) :-)

Austin Plumbery Plumbing Service
After seeing their postings on Nextdoor and finding positive reviews on Yelp, I was eager to use a neighborhood business and gave them a call to schedule a visit for a leaking toilet. Super accommodating to schedule and great communication for appt confirmation and before service appt. Travis and his colleague were amazing, on time and very courteous. Found the problem in a matter of seconds and completed the job in short time. Great service and VERY affordable and accommodating. I am extremely grateful and would highly recommend.

New Earth Plumbing Plumbing Service
I was remodeling a house the last two weeks of the year, in a rush, during the holidays, and Andre was always responsive and completely competent and helped me get everything ready for move-in on time. He's completely knowledgeable, a hard worker, and a heck of a nice guy. Now I'm going to have him back to talk about an outdoor shower I've dreamed up.  I can't recommend him enough for any and all plumbing jobs!

Lee Whiteaker Plumbing Plumbing Service
I called them at 8:00 and left a message. RC called me in less than an hour and was at the house by 10:00. He was super friendly, explained everything and was extremely diligent. I had called other places and they couldn't get to me for days. Whiteaker plumbing was on top of it and took great care of us. They warranty their work, use name brand products, and most importantly they don't overprice the work.

Thank you Whiteaker Plumbing and RC for being on top of great service.

Cowboy Plumbing Services Plumbing Service
My septic tank was backing up. They had to investigate the problem and repair what the initial plumbers did wrong. This is the 2nd time they had to figure out the problem and fix it. The first problem in my shower I had 3 other plumbers come out and they were the only ones that figured out the problem.
Jared and Randolph are the only plumbers I will allow in my house now!

Austin's Best Plumbing Plumbing Service
Upon noticing a drip adjacent to an exterior door I called upon Rick for some assistance. He promptly sent the very capable Len over to analyze the situation. This leak apparently stemmed from the February freeze at a weak point where the copper pipe leading to an outdoor spigot which had been krimped when the house was built over 40 years ago had been weakened by the freeze. Len admitted that this would be a challenge but within an hour and a quarter he had soldered in a new section and corrected the problem. Austin's Best Plumbing...an appropriate name for an exemplary company!!

A & A Plumbing Plumbing Service
It saddens to write another review that is unfavorable to this company because generally they are so nice.  Well, I understand now why one reviewer stated this company doesn't always do big jobs well. First, there was only one small leak in a shower pipe upstairs after we removed the shower that needed repair.  Edward came with another plumber, he shut the door, and I trusted my home to him. He did such good work previously. After he finished, he asked me to check his work, and I was disappointed that he had cut the copper pipe that had a small leak and the hot water tub pipe beside it and replaced both top portions with pex pipe.  The pipe he was supposed to fix was still leaking when I checked--a little more than before.  He checked, held up a finger to the light for his partner to see, who said, What? Edward said, It's leaking, it's our weld. Well, I read copper doesn't weld well with pex, plus copper is more rare and expensive and I fully expected equal replacement, especially because he had fixed the shower  fixture pipe and said pex was twisted on and would leak. I asked why did he cut my copper pipe that wasn't leaking? When I talked to the boss, he said to go above and beyond, but on Monday site supervisor and Edward said to bring it up to code.  It was already up to code.  I said I wanted my copper pipes I fully expected, and after some resistance, I was told yes because it didn't say they would do that in the contract.  The site supervisor called and said he was coming out to do the work himself--new copper.  In the meantime, at 11:00 p.m., the pipe they didn't have to cut had a leak and the water was coming through the ceiling.  I heard a very steady drip drip, and water was rolling rapidly on the inside ceiling bowing the tape. I didn't know how long it had been like that, but the carpet was soaked too. My husband turned the water off. No one answered Friday, January 14, 2022, even though I have the plan for emergencies.  When no one answered Saturday, I went online to chat on their website, and that worked.  The emergency worker came alone, and he cut the leaking pipe on the copper and capped it until Monday when they would replace both with copper.  But the pipe was hot and he dropped it on my rug and burned the rug. Oh, my! The worker who arrived was excellent, but his explanation wasn't--company emailed his report stating it wasn't their fault, after he said it's free because we cannot tell if it is our fault or not.  But it would be too coincidental. They wrote it is the way the builder built the house (What! 22 years ago it was built, and would have leaked before now).  Especially because the site supervisor  who came Monday to replace everything with copper stated, You have to be careful working with these pipes, saying this to my husband also.  They didn't have a report signed, left, and emailed a report with just a horizontal curved line as if it was signed. Anyway, I called the boss and insisted they don't blame the builder on a new report because when they have you sign, they don't show you what they are saying.  To the boss's credit, he changed the report to read it was not their fault, deleting anything about the builder, but I submitted both reports to my insurance company.  The boss said he is sending a carpet company but I couldn't meet them at their time, and he will not give me the name.  I asked can I choose my own company.  Finally, I am happy with the new copper welded pipes. I asked for the site supervisor to come back to put in new fixtures-while the shower is out, it's the time to get new handles. So I think it depends on who you get in this company, and site supervisor and his partner are so very nice, exceptionally so, and did a great job! One helpful tidbit--if there is a slight bit of mold on your sub-floor of the shower when removed, like mine, insist they cut out the ceiling downstairs.  I asked, but the mold remediation company didn't think it was warranted. There was more black mold in the ceiling on one beam.  So God brought something good out of something bad, as it is His habit to do.  Mold remediation was done upstairs and downstairs today.  The downstairs mold grows over time, and, therefore, was not caused by the company, but probably from the previous leak they came to fix.

My Plumbing Company Plumbing Service
I contacted this plumbing company in order to fix my backflow issue. He came and not only fixed the problem, but explained to me what the issue is and if it was worth replacing. I highly appreciate the knowledgeable service with a smile. He followed up with me when an HONEST assessment and ensured he would call back and he did. In a world where trust is a sacred word I would definitely trust this young men to assist in any plumbing or septic issues. Two thumbs up!!!

A & D Backflow Plumbing Service
My pool backflow preventer busted and Mike responded immediately to my call.  He gave me a quick diagnosis based on some pictures I texted him, then gave me a choice of times to come by and take a closer look. He showed up when he said he was going to, explained the problem clearly and showed me what happened, described my options, immediately went and got the part I needed, replaced it, and got the system back up and moving again. He was friendly and did great work and I would recommend him without hesitation.

Longhorn Plumbing Plumbing Service
We've been using Longhorn Plumbing's services for the past 5 months or so.  We found them on recommendation of our foundation company.  We had to reset our foundation and of course this caused a handful of plumbing issues.  We were very impressed with the work of the Longhorn Plumbing team as they spent 10 days working on our home and worked from 7am into the evening.  They are probably one of the hardest working teams we've had do work on our home.  Additionally their quote for a large project was the lowest we've received.  We've also had them perform other smaller projects including hydrostatic testing and again their quotes are the lowest in the greater Austin region.  Plumbing service work can really vary with some companies quoting us outrageous prices for a simple hydrostatic test.  Do yourself a favor and call Longhorn Plumbing for experts at an affordable price!

Cannon Plumbing & Drain Plumbing Service
Connley came out to fix my kitchen sink today, only one day after I put in a request for service through the Thumbtack app. Super fast response!

I have had a clogged sink for about a week now, and haven't been able to do any dishes since the issue started because water kept backing up. I tried using a plunger, poured boiling water, and I used a 15 foot snake to see if I could get the issue fixed myself, but that was no help whatsoever. Connley had it fixed in no time at all. He had a 100 foot snake, which proved to be necessary for my kitchen pipes.

Cool thing about this experience is the fact that he explained everything he did, gave expert advice, and even showed me step by step what he did and told me how to avoid future issues like this. I'm going to recommend Cannon Plumbing to all of my friends in Austin. Great price, great service, and also insured and registered. Thanks bud!!!!

Andre's Pro Plumbing Plumbing Service
I needed a plumber right away to stop a water main leak with the overflow running down the street. After calling several companies, Andres plumbing was available to come out the same afternoon.  I found them to be responsive, reliable and trustworthy.  A crew came out and dug up the yard to get to the leak, and the plumber repaired the leak using a flexible hose to prevent future breaks.  I was sent an invoice via email and then contacted the following morning by the office and payed by credit card.  I was surprised that I wasn't asked to pay on the spot once the work was completed. My overall experience was positive despite the unanticipated expense.

Pennington's Plumbing Plumbing Service
In the process of completing a remodel and called Chris Pennington after extensive research and bad experiences with other local plumbers.  Mr. Pennington was upfront and honest about his pricing and took the time to explain what my best options were during our estimate meeting.  His office immediately called me to set up an appointment and were able to accommodate my schedule.  Nathan and Sam showed up right on time and did an excellent job on the plumbing in my kitchen and two bathrooms.  Was thoroughly impressed at how smoothly the whole process was.  I will definitely use them again.

Reliant Plumbing Plumbing Service
I am so deeply upset. A girlfriend was staying at my house when she said the shower and toilet stopped draining. I called Reliant because of their reviews, and when they came out the next day, I was told that they needed to unclog the drain. I received no videos or anything of the snaking the drain despite being told that I would, and a invoice for $470.

After now having a septic service come out and another plumber from Clark Kent to actually clean the drain, it was as if my technician from Reliant never even came and or actually cleaned anything. The new plumber removed a massive chunk of grease from my pipe and ran it back to the super pump, and now I've had to have three different appointments to solve. Certainly would've still needed for special show list for septic to come, but I wouldn't need them to come again or a separate plumber if it had actually been cleaned correctly. Not to mention that both the services were $250 to $350 each, significantly less than the Reliant pricing. I should've just had my friend pay the appointment fee and never gone through with a clog clearing to only be out $400 extra.
