They were quick to respond to a call,  but charged $325 to clear a disposal and snake the drain.  What a RIP off

I used S&D plumbing for a sump pump problem....... the problem happened on a Saturday and was having several friends over for a Christmas party/dinner on Sunday.   I talked to Lisa and she assured me someone would come out on Sunday morning to take care of the problem.  John Lisenbee showed up at the time they said he would.  He needed more parts but showed me how to manually empty the tank.  We made it through Sunday without a problem and save our event.  The problem is now solved and I have nothing to great, great, great dealings with this company.....HIGHLY recommend this plumbing company.  Telephone calls from them and emails kept me up-to-date....I'm a happy camper.......Robert Harris

We loved working with these guys. So friendly, so ready to help, personable, great attitudes, and did a great job quickly fixing our water heater.

Travis and the plumber he was with did an excellent job. We had multiple breaks in a couple copper pipes and they fixed the problem quickly and inserted a different type of pipe. I could tell they sensed the urgency and problems home owners were dealing with because of the storm.

They acted professionally, moved quickly and diagnosed the problem well. They were also very cost efficient, so we sincerely appreciate their help and would hire them again. Ryan

I was remodeling a house the last two weeks of the year, in a rush, during the holidays, and Andre was always responsive and completely competent and helped me get everything ready for move-in on time. He's completely knowledgeable, a hard worker, and a heck of a nice guy. Now I'm going to have him back to talk about an outdoor shower I've dreamed up.  I can't recommend him enough for any and all plumbing jobs!

Our water heater went out right before getting company and so we needed a quick response time! They were able to come out the same day and got it done quickly.  Great experience from beginning to end!! Couldn't be happier with the service!  They communicated well, very personable, family owned business!  Love helping small companies grow! I would recommend them in a heartbeat!  They work efficiently and are very friendly.  Biggest thing is they guarantee their work and have a great warranty on a good product which speaks volumes!

As teenage girls do, they kept dumping globs of toilet paper while visiting! I called these folks and they agreed to come out early the next morning! The plumbing was totally backed up into bathtubs and showers! A friend suggested that it was probably a septic problem rather than a plumbing problem so I called a local septic service in Canyon Lake and they came out very early the next morning and couldn't find the septic system! He recommended that I get a plumber first to locate the septic system and clear the drains from possible clogging!

I had canceled Cowboy Plumbing by then! I asked the septic guy who he might recommend! He asked who I had called and I said Cowboy plumbing and he said that's who we would recommend!
So called Cowboy back! They came the next morning!
Randolf and his helper were very efficient and were upfront with the pricing and costs. They cleared the lines and used a computer camera to locate the septic system in short order.
I gave this review four stars instead of five because even though they gave me a discount off the price and another small discount for a military discount on part of the work, I thought $517.50 was still  just a tad too much for less than an hours work!
Having said that, they did excellent work and got the job done.
My alternative was to pay the septic folks $75 an hour to poke around with a stick shovel until they found the septic system!

Rick is the best, always willing to explain things, give great advice and fix just what needs fixing at very reasonable rates. Highest recommendation!!

I have used this company several times in the past and was very happy with the service and price.  A couple of weeks ago I had a toilet removed and a new one installed which cost me 1,095.  This seems a little excessive to me as I did not get a receipt showing how much everything cost including labor , just what was done.  I did not even get any paperwork from the toilet they got at lowes telling me what kind of kohler toilet it was and the price.

Why haven't I reviewed these folks yet? Seriously had the best service last year with Colie putting in a Loop. He was hard working, fast, efficient and not painful on the checkbook! I will use these guys every time!

My husband had an issue with our water heater and since Mike could not make it out that day he gave him some recommendations which fixed the problem. He saved us the consultation fee which I am grateful for. He is honest and will care about your plumbing issues like they are his own. Highly recommend over any other plumbing service in Killeen.

This guy was great! My spigot popped off about midnight last night. I requested emergency quotes. A&D backflow  responded within 20 minutes. He even requested an immediate phone consult to determine if he would be able to fix it right then! Unfortunately it couldn't be as the wall needed to be cut into. Anyway, he showed up bright and early. He had everything fixed and back to normal in no time. He answered all the questions I had and explained various reasons why it might have happened and how to avoid it happening again. He was very professional and friendly. I will most definitely be using this company again and HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Home emergency repairs can be scary when they happen, especially when it comes to water. How bad is the issue? How much will it cost to fix? Who should I call?

I'm glad we stumbled across these guys. They really are the best. We've used them several times over the past year and a half, since the beginning of glorious 2020. Everything from a leaking water heater, leaking toilet, busted pipe in our wall, faucet installations, and water heater install. They do it all and each time they came through the quality of service has been outstanding. They have this friendly-neighbor feel to them. Whenever we have a water issue we do not hesitate to call them. Each of these guys perform consistent quality work.

Had a major water leak in the crawlspace in a 50's home. The water was a foot deep in crawlspace! First we got the water pumped out and let it dry out for 2 weeks. Longhorn Plumbing was available, showed up on time, and made the repair quickly. They also suggested we insulated the pipes on the exterior walls while they were there. They did all this work at reasonable costs and were very professional.
I highly recommend them and will use them again myself!

They made an appt to show up to fix my plumbing issue between 2-4 PM.  NEVER SHOWED UP!  I called the owner and asked where they were and he said that he would check and call me back in two minutes.  After 45 minutes, I called him and the call went straight to voicemail.  I missed an entire afternoon of work to meet them.  I will never call them again.

Great pricing compared to most of the local competition. Just needed a replacement hose. Other companies wanted up to $400 dollars! Flexible and professional. I would do definitely recommend them and will use them again. Great service with fast response.

I was at a loss on who to call for a leak issue we discovered after getting a water bill that was for over 3 times what our normal usage was. Friend recommended Pennington's so I gave them a call and they came out the same day. Although they were not able to diagnose the problem that same day, they came back the following day with their leak detection device and discovered where the leak was and immediately began to work on repairing. Because of where the leak was located (underneath a stone stair landing), they had to come back today with a jackhammer to get to where the actual leak was which was caused by faulty installation of the plumbing company who did the original work. All said and done, leak was repaired at a cost a LOT lower than what I was expecting. I could not be more pleased! Thank you Pennington's Plumbing! Y'all rock!!

The bad reviews this company gets in relation to pricing are legit and I wish I didn't use them for this reason. They are highly overpriced but when you have an emergency and don't know any better I guess shame on me. With a large family, dogs, cats, goats and chickens it never even crossed my mind to not get the water back up as quickly as possible.

I had my pressure relief valve break last week and since they were basically the only company available in our area 24/7 I gave them a call. I had to pay the after hours fee of $150 for them to come out. Once the nice young tech was here, he did his assessment and informed me the price to fix it would be around $1300! I had to ask what the price of the parts were and he informed me about $150. So basically the $150 diagnostic fee would be rolled in to the $1300 which means labor alone would be $1000! I was told they charged per job and not the hour.

Another slap in the face is that after paying for the after hours fee and signing that I will accept the bid I was informed that the parts wouldn't be available until the next day which would have given me more time to find more quotes with reasonable prices.

Another interesting tidbit is that a lot of their 5 star reviews are from reviewers with few than 5 and as little as 1 review. BEWARE these!
