I picked lantz's because we were having a grinder pump issue and the specialize in grinder pumps.

The grinder pump failure caused sewage to backup, but when the grinder pump was cleared, one section of plumbing didnt clear. The lantz's plumber cleared it and it was all good.

After a lot of flushes the next bathroom down the plumbing line turned out to now be clogged. I had lantz's come back. This time they used a camera and discovered the clog had moved down the plumbing stack but wasnt a full clog. Water was backing up over time, but could still run through the system.

They cleared the clog and didnt charge for the second visit.

We had Bryan Farris come out the other day and he was amazing! Same day service was awesome. He was courteous and quick and got our water heater back up and running! I even recommended him to some friends who need some plumbing work! THANKS Bryan!

I don't normally take the time to write reviews (shame on me) but I just had to make sure Austinites know how wonderful David Graves plumbing is!  They helped us replace a old leaking water heater in our attic...it required some heavy lifting, definitely not an easy job!  We had a big corporate plumber come out to look at it (after being over 24 hours late) and flat out refuse to do the job.  David's crew not only saved us in our hour of need, they were timely, good-natured, can do kind of guys...such a relief after our previous bad experience.  On top of everything, their quote was affordable and fair :)

David Graves is our go to guy from here on out!

Our house is about four years old, and was already having issues with water pressure; if I had two things running at once, they would both lose pressure, and the pop-up sprinklers didn't even work.

Austin Plumbery sent out Travis who dug around our water line and found that the PRV was rusted. We said thanks and we'd be in touch. Travis came out again a few weeks later and not only replaced the PRV, but some of the line itself with brass. Now everything works like it's new again!

Scheduling was extremely easy, and if you're not a fan of talking on the phone, you can set everything up via text/email. Travis was knowledgeable and courteous, and managed to get everything done before I even had to get ready for work. I highly recommend Austin Plumbery!

We called New Earth Plumbing  to fix a broken water main. Andre was very thorough and saved the day for us as this happened on a weekend.  We were very pleased with the work he did so we then had him install a pressure relief valve. Fantastic work also! Now he is going to  repair a pipe this weekend that is attached to an outside spigot.  We have total faith in his plumbing skills and wished we would have found him long ago. Honest and fastidious, Andre is everything you should look for in a plumber. We highly recommend him!

New toilets installed which needed piping changed.  Appointment was easy to make and he arrived as expected.
Work was completed without any issues.

Great service, smart, quick, knowledgeable, & honest. Did I mention patient? After he explained to me what the problem was, at my request, he called my husband and reexplained to him what the problem was.

I am updating this review: After hours spend on the phone with the City of Austin and the TX Board of Plumbing Examiners, I got to the bottom of the inspection delay. The Examiners had failed to update Joe Caldwell's insurance information for months, which meant the city could not inspect his work. I tracked down someone who tracked down the head of the Insurance division at the Examiners, the insurance was updated, inspection scheduled, and we passed. I still fault APB for not being responsive to our questions about this inspection for nearly a year, but the core of the problem was the delay at the state level -- not the plumber's fault and he has been very responsive since. I would recommend APB for routine work, not for something big like a hot water heater changeout and do thank them for being far more responsive now. Side note -- progress began w/my initial Yelp review, so there we are.  Initial Review: Rick was our plumber for years and was fine with basics, responsive and easy to work with. The trouble came last year when we hired ABP to replace our electric hot water heater. The installation was a mess from the start as it quickly became clear that the crew didn't know what they were doing and left us without hot water over a weekend when they screwed up the job the first time and then still took repeat visits to get it right. Rick offered a partial refund which we appreciated but hadn't  ask for -  and then never made good on it anyway. In the middle of all this Rick retired, left the business to Joe, who months later we are still chasing to schedule the inspection with the city, important to have for resale. We were loyal customers for years and  have been utterly flabbergasted by the lack of professionalism. Do not hire these guys.

Watch your jewelry. 2 A&A plumbers came into my house, the next day I went to put on my wedding ring that was in a tray on my bathroom counter was gone.

While it took a while to get on the schedule, it was well worth it. I had been used to plumbers from our builder that were less than desirable to hire again. The hill country guys were courteous, respectful, and hate to say it, but had all their teeth :D. My biggest regret is that we didnt have them when we built as they are fantastic and please dont waste your time if you have a plumbing issue, call them and let them impress you!

I had a service call that was processed through my rental company. I was ultimately responsible for the invoice, and I contacted Mike to see what the charges were for. He was rude and talked down on me, because I didn't understand why I was charged $89 twice. To which he replied service calls can be anywhere from $89-$400. I just don't think it's fair to be charged $89 for a young kid to come out, and then $89 for the 'diagnostic slab leak test'. Turns out someone had entered my yard and turned my water hose on. So i was charged $178 for this young boy to turn off the water hose.

I thought his customer service was lacking, and his employee was unskilled. I don't recommend this company all in all.

I contacted my father, who is a realtor and also has three rental houses himself. He is use to dealing with different plumbing companies, and even he thought the charges were outrageous.

Mike did an excellent job. Very nice and professional. Was able to fix the problem quickly.

I'd recommend these guys for any job. Andrew was extremely polite & easy to work with. He gave us options to fix our leak, which worked the first time, & he was very reasonable. Great service. I'd use again!!

Had a major water leak in the crawlspace in a 50's home. The water was a foot deep in crawlspace! First we got the water pumped out and let it dry out for 2 weeks. Longhorn Plumbing was available, showed up on time, and made the repair quickly. They also suggested we insulated the pipes on the exterior walls while they were there. They did all this work at reasonable costs and were very professional.
I highly recommend them and will use them again myself!

Excellent service! Received a quote within minutes and had service within hours. Would easily recommend this plumber to a friend or family member. They came out before a holiday weekend and were honest and upfront about costs, expectations, and arrival time.

Will now be my go-to plumber forever. Fast to respond to emergency (a rarity out here in the boonies) and fast thorough work by guys with a positive honest ethics. Highest of recommendations.

Reliant PlumbingTx thank you for showing my family and now friends your true color. My wife tried every company in central Texas to fix the water leaks after the February Winter storm. Not only did your company try to charge a fee just to come out and provide a quote, but Reliant wanted to charge more than the price of a new tankless water heater for a $9 pvc elbow that required no tools to replace. Oh and by the way, I was deployed at the time and Facetimeed the technician who wanted to rip us off with my wife's assistance. Thanks to Ferguson Plumbing for ordering the part for me. I ordered 3 at $9 a pop and received the parts the next day. Love the support your company provides to Central Texas Reliant Plumbing of Texas.

I think you are missing the point. The quote that was provided was very generic and didn't even list the problem. The part was $9 and took all over 5 minutes to repair with no required tools. Simply a hand and fingers. You can continue to hire these employees that take advantage of residents in the central Texas area but I will never use your service or recommend your service. I hope others read this review and realize how much your company takes advantage of people in need.
