This review is way overdue.. we have a house with a grinder pump which is something that strikes fear in the heart of homeowners because of the costs associated with them. When ours went out, my husband tried to fix it himself but by 430PM it was clear that wasn't going to happen. I called Lantz's and Tiffany was so sweet and friendly and no kidding- had someone at our house in less than 10 minutes! They identified the issue, were able to get the part and came earlier than expected the next day to do a great job. I can't say enough about their friendly, reliable service- all at a reasonable price. I hope I don't have a plumbing issue in the near future, but when I do, they'll be whom I call.

Be careful here; the prices they charge are way out of line. I had them come out to repair/replace a garbage disposal and was shown prices ranged from ~ $230 to repair and replacement fees starting at $450 if I bought the annual subscription option to the company's service and it was, I think, $600+ without.
So I called someone else and was given a quote over the phone for $250 for the same HP disposal (new, installed). I also called a local handyman and got a quote of $90 labor if I provided the disposal (the .75HP ones seem to run about $150).
Get a competitive quote or two before you hire these folks.

I have used many plumbers while living in BASTROP David Graves Plumbing is awesome!! Arrived on time, fixed my plumbing issues quickly!
570 Sayers Rd, Bastrop, TX 78602
Been a customer for over four years and one of their master plumbers answered my call and promised me to get back to me about an estimate and never did. Left me completely hanging over an appliance that I needed to have this winter. Completely irresponsible, I even texted him for a week, every day, trying to get his attention. He read every single text message (it gave me the read notification). This is a complete of an operating mess. Stay away.

Andre is an excellent communicator, both before, during and after the job. He allows work to be scheduled for a specific day and time and he hits that appt. His workstyle is quiet and respectful while he is on your property, and he is willing to collaborate with you if you want to be his helper to save time and money, too.
My concern was that I would lose my investment in the art tile that was installed in front of my guest room shower fixture two years ago, but Andre accessed the leaks behind that wall from a hallway and cleaning closet, preserving the guest bath's esthetic.
The great 2021 Texas ice storm was harrowing here, but Andre was worth the wait and we were ecstatic to have running water restored by Andre after 17 days without.

I called them at 8:00 and left a message. RC called me in less than an hour and was at the house by 10:00. He was super friendly, explained everything and was extremely diligent. I had called other places and they couldn't get to me for days. Whiteaker plumbing was on top of it and took great care of us. They warranty their work, use name brand products, and most importantly they don't overprice the work.
Thank you Whiteaker Plumbing and RC for being on top of great service.

My daughter tried to flush one of her Disney toys down the toilet so we had a problem. I called Cowboy and gave them our available times for a service call and they were out the next morning. They were on time, friendly, and gave me my options/pricing up front. They were able to clear the pipes and get us back to normal. Highly recommended.

Rick Lusk became our trusted plumber via recommendation from our in-laws. They have lived in Austin over 40 years, and used Rick for decades. For ten years running, Rick has delivered above and beyond for my wife & I. We trust him. He saves us money and time, and is a fantastic plumber. It can sometimes take a much of a lifetime to surround yourself with the absolute best trades. Rick defines that top tier.

This is a review for Patrick S at A & A Plumbing in San Antonio, Texas.
We had two sinks in the same bathroom that were draining slowly. This was not an emergency, so I made an appointment for two business days later. The person on the phone was polite and helpful and did a good job explaining the company policies about the service charge (about $20) that is credited towards any work done and what to expect when the plumbers came.
I was given a 4 hour window and they came very near the beginning of the window. They called in advance to confirm and then again to let me know when the plumber was actually on his way and the name to expect. When Patrick got here, he gave a description of what was the likely problem and a quote to fix both sinks at once as we agreed the problem was probably past where the sink drain pipes joined up. He promised to talk over any surprises he found before doing anything extra, but his diagnosis was correct and they had both sinks draining wonderfully in less than an hour.
Patrick and his colleague were pleasant and left everything as clean as when they came. They did not push selling me extra services, although they did ask if I had any other issues. I felt the price was fair for the high quality service I got. I will use this company again if we have another plumbing problem.

Collie was my service rep and he is great. He helped troubleshoot our water heater problems and even guided us through warranty coverage. They were also there to help us through the lake floods last fall. Highly recommend them.

We are new to the area and one of the joys of home ownership is all the repairs that come with it. Our water heater was leaking water all over and a quick call to Mike was all it took to get it fixed. He came in on a Saturday, on time and was so fast in replacing the whole water heater I was stunned!! He also took the old one and was so courteous and made us feel at ease.

My backflow burst on Christmas morning and I had to shut my main off. I went on Yelp and tried calling A&D and Mike answered (hard to believe). I explained what happened and he directed me to shut my sprinkler feed and turn my main back on so I'd have running water in the house. Mike came out the following morning and had my problem fixed in minutes. I'm very happy with his professionalism and his responsiveness.

It's sometimes hard to find a reliable plumber. Most plumbers in my area seem to not return my call or make it hard to schedule.
Mr Rooter always answers and has someone to send out. Had two gentlemen come help me remove and water heater and bathtub and they made quick work of the task, were very polite and informed and answered all of my questions about moving forward and what to do next with my bathroom remodel. Price was very reasonable.
Moving forward with any plumbing issues, will be using Mr Rooter.

Leon is our plumber and always will be. We met him when our foundations were bring totally redone, and I would happily recommend him to anyone who wants an honest, experienced professional.

DO NOT USE!! They don't deserve the one star I was forced to submit! Scheduled an appointment a week out. Did not show up, did not call, and did not answer their phones. Very unprofessional!!
Bastrop, TX 78602
Very courteous technician and did a great job of getting my toilet unclogged. Those baby wipes should not be flushed even if they say flushable. He did a great job of resetting the toilet and left everything the way he found it. Reasonable and competitive pricing.
5420 Jackwood, San Antonio, TX 78238
I needed a leak found and repaired. It was a complicated job, but they stuck with it, even when fixing the leak caused another plumber's faulty repair to fail and they had to return the next day to fix that. I will use Pennington's again.

Reliant Plumbing has 312 reviews at this time and 82 are 1 star. That says a lot! My experience with Reliant;
They came out on a Friday for a toilet leak. They left after ~4 hours & $1,330. The leak was fixed but the stool rocked back and forth by a full inch! I have a video. The first time that someone sat on the stool, their caulk came apart. I called Relient and they scheduled someone to be out on Monday.
The Friday crew checked the clean out and ran a snake/router for clogs and they left the cap off the clean out. I didn't find this out till Sunday when I was taking out our trash. The cap was off a 3 inch pipe all weekend! Something could have crawled into my house.
On Monday, the plumber removes my stool and tells me they need an additional $2,600 to complete the repair. Total is $3,900 but they'll credit the previous payment.
I did not pay for the repairs. The Reliant plumber replaced the stool and left us with a rocking, but not leaking toilet. After he left, I checked the clean out. The cap was on but the plumber left a pair of channel locks.
I have some experience with small business and I understand that all construction trades are in demand in Austin at this time. Probably, Reliant Plumbing grew too fast and must be having trouble getting good employees. Good employees don't leave the caps off the clean-out vents and good plumbers don't leave tools at the job site.
For me, I'm going with a smaller plumbing firm and ALWAYS check Yelp.
