I had two different plumbing companies come out to investigate what turned out to be a complicated plumbing issue. Both said they were unsure of the root cause, and then next step would be to demo the bathroom.
Since a demo is not currently an option, when I sent out a new round of request for quotes, Pat was the only one who thoroughly read the description of the problem. He called me shortly after and explained what he thought the problem was and what he thought the next steps should be (and was very clear that the next step should NOT be demoing the bathroom). Others that I requested quotes from clearly did not read any of the background I sent.
Unfortunately, Drain-EEZ doesn't work on the type of toilet installed in the bathroom. However, Pat recommended another company that does, and I ended up hiring them because they are clearly experienced, and also very good at communicating what they are seeing. The best part is, I did not have to demo my bathroom!
I will absolutely reach out to Drain-EEZ again in the future.

Last December my water heater failed on me without warning. I called around to a couple of places and even had a different company come out. I thought things would go smoothly, but when installation time came around they had no idea about water valve hook ups or even where they were located so they left shortly after arriving.

Scotty did an outstanding job. He was very easy to communicate with when it came time to schedule the visit. He was prepared and he was on time (in fact he was even early for the follow up visit). He did a good job and explained things very clearly. The prices were very fair and more clearly communicated than other local plumbers we spoke with for our sink issue.

Dan Molina showed up on time.  We took some time to figure out where the leak was coming from. When he cut out a piece of pipe that a previous plumber put some putty on, the water was still leaking. We found that directly above that pipe was the actual leak. He fixed that one and another one near it. He did great work, and has a good attitude. A consummate professional. I would recommend him to anyone, and wouldn't hesitate to use this company again in the future.

We hired Windy City Plumbing to install a flood mitigation system for our home in Berwyn. We are very satisfied with the work that was performed by Jose and his assistants. They were courteous, thoughtful, friendly and professional. They began the project on time and completed it as agreed. They also restored our landscaping. We had a great experience with First Chicago. We were having a pest problem with our sump and ejector pumps, but, being new homeowners, really had no idea what to do. I didn't even know what an ejector pump was! First Chicago was informative and responsive. I particularly appreciate their ability to answer questions over email, if it's difficult to talk on the phone during the day. They took the time to understand the problem and recommended a great course of action. They were also the lowest quote we got for these services. Highly recommend!

I called the office and Debbie was able to get someone out to inspect a possible leak that day.  Mitch was dispatched to our apartment to look for the leak.  He was prompt, professional and knowledgeable.  I had already removed a section of the ceiling to expose the pipes.   He spent about an hour looking.  Although we didn't find the source of the leak, Mitch suggested I not close up the ceiling for a while.  It's been about a week and no leaks.  He said it could have be my upstairs neighbor.  Since it hasn't happened again, I haven't ask them.  The cost of the inspection was very reasonable.  I will definitly use Sound Plumbing again.Thanks Mitch.

Today, I finally found a great plumber I could trust. Jesus is so amazing in every way. He's kind, honest, super knowledgable, and a great technician. He was able to fix my bathroom plumbing problem in no time and at a reasonable price. What a relief to finally have someone I could turn to when I have plumbing issues. I highly recommend Jesus the next time you need work done. I can't thank him enough!

Fantastic company! Come quickly to fix my water heater and I recommend them whenever you are in need of a plumber. My water heater broke and one of my friends recommended Kevin, he was right on time and adjusted every problem. He brought a new heater and fixed it that day. It was Sunday! Almost unbelievable, but it did happen. I have hot water back and I know it will stay with me for at least another 16 years! Highly recommended and thank you for your quick and professional help.

Just want to say THANK YOU to Adam and his coworker who helped us on the leak we had at our place. First, they were able to be on site right away. Second, very responsive and they communicate well. Third, they will check everything until the find out the cause of the problem. Fourth, very nice/friendly so you don't feel pressured of any kind. I had a great experience with Sims and Sons. Scheduling was quick and easy. They showed up to provide an estimate within days and the work was done shortly after that.  Dino and Eli were wonderful! They showed up right on time, were so efficient doing their work and even made a special trip to the store when we needed matching light switches. They were friendly, kind and very knowledgeable. I will definitely reach out the next time I need an electrician.

I like i got a Quote on Yelp instead of being told they cant give a price without someone coming to the house and then you are potentially wasting days and then you get a too high quote but feel pressured to go with them, so when i got a quote from ABV and thought it fair i made a appointment and they came the next day.

My kitchen garbage disposal clogged and backed up last Friday, so I needed an emergency visit. My regular plumber couldn't get here until Tuesday of this week so I called CJ Plumbing based on these positive reviews. Dmitry answered the call and agreed to get someone over to my house right away.  Lenny was in the area and arrived in about 15 minutes which was amazing!   He is very personable (had no problem wearing a mask and booties), took apart the drain pipe to clear the clog, and put everything back together quickly and correctly.  I so appreciate the quick response, and Dmitry texted on Saturday to make sure everything went well. Mike is awesome! What started out as a simple kitchen drain rodding, turned into an angioplasty of about an 18 section of drain pipe due to excessive amount of grease build up. Then, in spite of the drain pressure build-up exploding sludge all over him, he held his composure and cleaned everything up. Very professional with a great work ethic. Mike is now my new go-to plumber.

Juan was very responsive. He explained the process to me and even went to buy a new toilet once we decided I needed a new one. He and his brother worked quickly and was very respectful of my home. I will definitely call them again when needed.

For two hours of work, a sink faucet, a bathtub faucet, and a few of those wire mesh drain covers, he charged me $495. I looked up the prices for those parts online. He definitely made over $100 an hour for the labor, which is a pretty penny.

He still did a good job, but I might look elsewhere next time.
