I live in a garden unit condo.  The ejector pump died Friday night during the Cubs game.  I called Pat at Drain-EEZ after 10p, and he immediately picked up the phone.  He ran thru some questions, told me not to use the water until he got there, and scheduled an appointment the next day between 10a-noon.  He arrived at 10:30a... Which, in my opinion, was early!  He officially diagnosed the problem, left to get a new pump, and had it all installed before noon.  He and his partner, Jeff, even cleaned up the mess before leaving.  Pat has been doing this for forty years and definitely knows his stuff.  I would recommend Drain-EEZ to anyone in need of plumbing help.  Plus, they take checks and credit cards, which is handy for an unexpected issue.  I am not easily impressed with service, but I was definitely impressed with Pat.  He saved the day!

We are in the process of selling our Chicago condo unit. So we need the issues raised by the buyers to be fixed before closing, which is tomorrow (wish us good luck :-)). I called multiple plumbing companies. Many of the companies with good ratings don't do downtown Chicago, or high-rise buildings, or require owner onsite (which we couldn't because we are out of town), etc. I finally find Fastplumbing, that works in the downturn area, and highrise building, and doesn't require us onsite, and have a fantastic rating!
Mac is extremely kind. When he first visited out building to check the issues out, our doorman didn't let him in because they needed a formal entry permit, even though I informed them by phone ahead of time. So that wasted Mac's time. I was so afraid that he might get angry and not willing to do the work any more. But he came back the next day for the quote and had the issues fixed the day after. For all these, he didn't charge the visit fees. His work is fantastic. And the charges he ask for are so reasonable.
From the interaction I had with Mac, he is a great person with big heart, and a great plumber, who gets the work done! I will recommend him to anyone!

Javier and Alejandro were very efficient and explained the process Step by step. I had a clogged kitchen sink drain and needed it fixed ASAP. I called on a Sunday evening and they were at my house Monday morning. Great work.

I had Scott come by for a garbage disposal clog - I sent over a picture of the area, and based on that, he showed up prepared with a whole new garbage disposal for me, and installed it!! The clogged one was quite old and the trap needed replaced. He did it all, and was super quick and it was affordable, + told me things to consider in the future / other things that may need replaced / etc.

I know nothing about water heaters but luckily this place does.  I had water leaking from a pipe into my water heater.  They identified the problem immediately and noted that the heater is just about to go.  They provided excellent options based on my use and the size of tank I may need.  in addition, they noticed a problem with my HVAC system and said they are not in that industry but to get it checked immediately.  Turns out the HVAC system leaking and had the problem gone on any longer I would have needed a brand new system.  WHEW!  Value added here

We had an emergency where our pump for our basement toilet stopped working. They responded right away, gave us a quote and came the same day, a Sunday. They replaced our pump quickly with no surprise charges. They practiced social distance and wore masks. Very pleased and would use them again. They install quality pumps too, no cheapies.

Chris did an awesome job. Our old garbage disposal was leaking. Chris replace it within half an hour. Now our kitchen is beautiful and clean again.

Long story short, I am in the middle of doing a kitchen renovation and am trying to do most the work myself. When we first experienced plumbing issues in our kitchen sink. I sent over some pictures to see what it would cost to fix and what the problem might be. First Chicago Plumbing not only responded quickly, but was able to give me a quote right then. They also did a great job at educating me what was wrong and giving me different approached to solve the problem.

I would DEFINITELY recommend. I know I will be using these guys for any and all plumbing needs moving forward.

Kevin was super responsive! He called to ask me if I minded movings things around since he had an emergency issue come up but was very respectful if I couldn't move things around. He called to let me know when he was on his way and he came, fixed our toilet and was out in 30 minutes. Happy to find someone I can trust and will definitely pass his name on to other homeowners!

J Sewer responded immediately and came out early Monday morning. I had a handyman fix a dripping bathtub faucet (big mistake). A month later is was worse than it ever was! Well the handyman refused to return my calls (I'm guessing he knew he did a bad job!) and J Sewer to the rescue! And at a fourth the price of the rip-off handyman. The moral of the story: hire an expert to do the job and J Sewer is an expert!

I am a first time customer.   Dan came in a timely manner, and completed a new drain pipe, kitchen faucet, and kitchen disposal quickly and efficiently, for a reasonable price.   Will recommend this service to anyone looking for a reliable plumbing outfit.

Very professional, Came on time,  explained what they were doing , good covid precautions with masks and shoe covers, and even came back to finish a job properly before charging us the final bill.  One less star only because it was a little hard coordinating the first visit with them, with 1-2 missed initial visits.

Adam was called to our condo to fix what the gas company was calling a leak in the line. He pressure tested the line and there was nothing in the line itself that was leaking.  The leak was traced back to the furnace. He came back over later that evening to replace the lines and re-seal everything in and around the furnace connectors. Would highly recommend; professional, courteous, and completed the job all within a day.

I was so impressed with the service that I received from Sims and Sons - I will never use another electrician. They came out the exact same day to fix one of the switches on our electrical box. He took his shoes off at the door, he wore his mask the entire time, and he even gave me a lot of useful information about our electrical system. I told him that our inspector told us to upgrade our electrical box and asked for his opinion. He told me it wasn't necessary - and I appreciated the honesty! I would completely trust Sims and Sons to help me with any electrical projects in the future.

Excellent plumbing service.  They responded quickly when I sent a request.  Pricing was very fair compared to others.  I had them replace an outdoor water faucet that was leaking.  Ivo did an great job and was so friendly and helpful.  I would highly recommend ABV Plumbing and will use them again for my next project.

Quick same-day service to fix a toilet fill valve. Took a look around the house at a couple other potential issues and made some recommendations. Professional and would recommend!

It is hard to find words adequate enough to describe how truly awesome Juan is. I hired him to install a new toilet in my home. I had seen the wonderful reviews about him here on Yelp, and that made my decision much easier. Juan utterly exceeded everything I was anticipating. He was very responsive and communicative. He showed up on time, and even waited patiently outside when I was delayed answering the door. His son was with him, and was such a kind and proficient helper. They both had masks on the entire time they were on and in my property. I had bought this house earlier this year, and the old toilet was an utter mess. It had obviously not been maintained for years, and the wax ring had likely completely deteriorated. Needless to say, it was a very messy removal. However, Juan and his son very carefully removed the toilet, bagged it up, and then took it outside and into my trash bin. They then carefully cleaned the entire surface of the floor underneath the toilet before installing my new one. The installation was not straightforward because the plumbing under the toilet was slightly askew, and also about 1/2 too close to the wall. Juan explained the situation to me, and gave me some options. We came to an agreement, and things went perfectly. He also went above and beyond to ensure that the new wax seal under the new toilet was as tight and leakproof as possible. They also cleaned up another area of my bathroom floor where foam spray had fallen a couple of weeks earlier, and had left some very resistent residue on the floor surface. I was not looking forward to having to try to remove that residue myself, and then lo and behold, Juan and his son just removed it for me. Juan is the type of contractor that you will wish you could hire to do all of the work in your house. He is a true diamond in the rough -- an extraordinary contractor and an extraordinary man. Highest praise possible!

Really nice staff, unfortunately they were unavailable but gave us info on another plumber who was actually quite wonderful. Honest and caring business.
