Most importantly, they asked if I was handy and didn't question it for a second when I said yes, despite being both female and blonde, and then showed me how to troubleshoot future issues myself. I text at 8pm with a concern about my very old water heater, quickly spoke with Matt on the phone, and by 8am the next morning the team (Jim) was in my home and installing my new water heater.  Very responsive, reasonable pricing, highly recommend!!

We discovered gelatinous fluid backing up out of a floor drain and oozing out of a crack in our cement stairs outside our utility room.  We called Rescue Plumbing because they had so many great reviews and hoped they could figure out the problem ASAP.  They did not disappoint; Freddie, Paco, and their skillful team sent a camera through the pipes and quickly determined the issue was a collapsed sewer line. The job was a big one, and once we agreed to do it, it took just two days for Rescue Plumbing to jackhammer up the smallest part of the patio possible, dig a 6' deep trench, replace the pipes, fill the trench, rod out the sewer line to the street and give us video images from the whole job.  
The Rescue Plumbing team was knowledgeable, thorough, and skilled.  I will use them again and highly recommend them to friends and family.

We noticed water leaking from our garbage disposal on Sunday evening and contacted Scott based on his Yelp reviews. He responded quickly and made time for us with short notice. He asked great questions and for pics of the sink ahead of time so he was prepared with all the replacement parts right away. He was fast, professional and gave great recommendations for improving the safety of the wiring to our disposal. I'm so glad we hired him, Scott will definitely be our go-to for any future needs!

What a complete professional, honest, accurate and very reasonable price conscious company! I was frustrated as I had sewer water coming up trough a drain in an apartment that I rent out so I had tenants that were anxious and it was below zero out. The response I got came in less than 2 minutes, they were there and accurately discovered the pipe issue.  Thomas both explained to me and my tenant Matt where the issue was, I got a video of them traveling through the pipe with a camera and 15 still pictures sent to me so I could be aware of the progress and what was happening. Thomas and his crew, fixed the issue, was honest about what could also be another issue, which it wasn't after they completed the job. Showed to another plumber who was very impressed with the video, agreed with the issue and was also very impressed with the price we were told and exactly where the job landed when all was said and done. I'm so happy I found them, can't express enough how complete on all levels our experience was. When done, cleaned everything up too!

I was very impressed with Jose's work. He is efficient,  organized,  courteous, and knowledgeable.  He and his assistants won't hesitate to return to correct any lingering issues. I always recommend him to anyone who seeks a plumber in the near west side suburbs.

Amazing experience and team. Eugene and team were prompt, dealt with me over something like 30 emails, and were super knowledgeable. Took the time to explain when they hit a hiccup and how much extra it would be, and took the time to try to find a replacement versus installing a brand new faucet. They did my faucet and a whole house filter and were very reasonably priced and brought 3 people to get it done quickly!

I hired sound plumbing to install new pipes for a bathroom I was building on my second floor. They were incredible to work with. Kevin was a helpful collaborator who worked around my DIY project and even gave me ideas on how to make it better. They were transparent about their pricing and worked with me to come out under their original estimate. Tried Angies list; all the call backs wanted to charge ($250-400) to even set foot in our house, and couldn't be there for days.

Jesus picked up quickly and was here in 2hrs, at no charge.  Listened and understood our issues, and had solutions for everything. Ended up needing to break concrete and replace an offset pipe in the basement. Can't convey how much work they did in such a short period of time.

Pricing was super reasonable, and he guarantees his work.  His crew were extremely pleasant, and left the place spotless.  Never calling anyone else.

COVID note: these guys wore their masks and gloves the entire time. We've been hesitant to have people work on the house since quarantine. No surprise these guys were very professional about it, without even asking.

Easy to work with, professional and fast.  They came to help me with an easy toliet repair and to look at a tub drain.  Dan was very friendly and knowledgable.  I wish I had seen the Yelp coupon before they came over!!  Regardless, would hire them in a minute to do anything else!

I have an old building.  I noticed the basement dirt ground seemed moist but did not pay much attention.  Then few months back, things got a lot worse.  First, the ground was sinking fast, then the sewer water started gushing out whenever I use water.

I contacted two 5-star popular plumbing services on Yelp.  They looked at the situation and told me that they need to dig down at 3 spots and replaced sewer lines there, but it will take at least 2 days to finish the job, and they cannot start until next week.  They also tried to rot and jet, neither cleared the line.  Frustrated, I searched again on Yelp and found Capitan rooter, and it turned out to be the best choice I made.

Joel was able to provide a quote over the phone based on problem described.  A detailed proposal was sent shortly.  The very next day, Oscar and the crew stopped by and started on the job.  The crew were the most efficient plumbers I met. Oscar immediately identified the main spot of problem, which was different than the spot identified by the other two companies.  I am so glad he made the right call because the other spot did not have the sewer line under the ground at all, which meant if I were to hire those companies, they would have been digging all over my basement.  

Once the crew rotted line clear, camera to locate the issues, each started digging and replacing the broken pieces. They were very careful handling my sewer line as those were made of clay; they replaced the broken pieces with SCH40 and made significant improvements.  They installed a new opening for rotting.  Oscar also replaced an incorrectly installed kitchen drain line.  By the time he reached the broken line, the replacement line was far more than the initial quote covered, but he completed the job anyway because he wanted to be sure that I could have a functioning line on the same day.  After the job was completed, they installed new cement and even cleaned up all the broken pipes, cements, and dust.  I cannot thank the crew enough for their outstanding work, professionalism, care for the customer and their property.  It was a very pleasant experience.

They also gave 5 year warranty on their work, but I am sure it will last much longer than that.  In addition, they also offered 2 free follow-up maintenance rotting.  The company also offer 18-month financing for those who need it.  Did I mention their pricing was better than the 2 other companies I noted?

Overall, I would highly recommend Capitan rooter to anyone with sewerage problems.  They offer the best combination of quality, value, efficiency, and reliability.

Christian, Graham and Ramero did a great job on installing a new electrical line for induction stove. It was a complicated job that took the full day and they were terrific.  Professional and great workmanship. They explained everything to me.

Dmitry was quick to respond to our call Monday evening when our bathroom drain was clogged and my husband couldn't fix it with drano or a snake. He sent Lenny the next morning who wore a mask and put booties on so our floors wouldn't get dirty. Lenny was very professional and knew what he was doing! About as honest and straightforward as it gets.  Great guy and even better plumber!  He explained everything that was going to be done, was flexible around our schedule and most importantly fixed the issue we were having.  I'm glad to find a go to plumber we can depend on with fair and transparent pricing.

We began calling multiple companies as we had limited time in Chicago with my 95 year old aunt before heading back to Florida. Juan was quick to respond and come to give us an estimate. We showed him 3 areas on her 90 year old pipes that had leaks and he gave us a price. During the repair he found the leak was way inside the wall. He said he'd try to reach it through an access hole already in the wall but may need to go by the actual tile/tub side. Oh no we thought. He did repair using the access side. Every step of the way he explained what he needed to do. We also threw in a possible kitchen sink and cabinet replacement which he was ready to tackle with his teenage son and my husband but we decided not to do it in the end. He had already cut a hole in the counter top which was perfect and we are holding onto it for future use. His son Eddie, was a great laborer and very polite. We will never use anyone else for our plumbing needs in Chicago. No one could beat his prices for the amount of time he spent with us. Thank you so much Juan and Eddie.

Noel was fast, courteous and most importantly, clean! I think he left my bathroom cleaner than it was before the plumbing backup.
