Best Plumbing Services in Chicago, IL

My hot water kept dripping in my bathtub, called a couple of places and was told $800 on up to repair, got hold of Pat and he came over started the work, only fixed the hot water faucet, since the cold water was not leaking.  Cost me a quarter of what the other guys wanted and was done in no time.  Drain-EEZ is on my contact list, will call, if needed.

These guys (and Mac in particular) are the absolute best. We had to replace our gas hot water heater recently. They were so quick and so much cheaper than expected. Mac was also nice enough to show us to fix a leaky toilet, and even showed us how to bypass a broken water booster in our condominium... all for free. We will definitely be calling Fastplumbing247 next time any issues come up.

We had the worst experience with this company. The actual plumber that came out was great! He arrived early, was quick and helpful. Once we started talking to the admin staff to get everything in order due to our HOA specifications, it was a nightmare. There was zero organization, information kept getting lost and on the 4th day of trying to get things done, I got an email asking who I was and when they came out and got yelled at by a man over the phone.

Would not recommend. Other than the actual plumber, this company was awful.

I am very pleased with the service  and cost from Scotty's Plumbing. He waited for me to get home from work without rescheduling. Went to  get additional connection hoses that would work for my kitchen faucet replacement, and fixed a pipe with a large hole, all for less than his initial estimate. Highly recommend. Will be my first  call for any other plumbing issues.

I found Rocket Plumbing through Yelp, and called them when a toilet of ours broke and we weren't able to fix it ourselves.

Our technician came out immediately and was wonderful.  I showed him an additional toilet that was leaking on top of the one I called for, and he said he'd be able to fix that one too.

The original problem toilet was quite old and had to have a part specialty ordered, so he returned two days later and completed the job.  I mentioned the Yelp coupon, and that was $50 off too!  

I couldn't say enough about how great my experience was.  Professional, courteous, respectful, and an overall great dude.  I'd recommend them to everyone!

Put simply, they were great. The tech didn't have the replacement parts on his truck. He kept me informed as to when he would be back. He was in constant communication with me. Overall, good experience.

First of all, I've had a leaky shower for a while and my building management is a high-rise in downtown Chicago with a strict license agreement for outside contractors. I messaged Jose who promptly responded by asking about the work that needed to be done, pictures, etc. When I mentioned my building's requirement of having a license and insurance documents with them, he readily sent them over.

He had sent Chris to do the job, who not only was eager, ready, and completed the job in minutes, but chatted about various DIY things to do in my bathroom. He was extremely friendly, professional, and honest. You can tell that this company does their work with human-to-human trust and integrity.

Not to mention they were incredibly reasonable and reliable. They gave me an it will cost you at most... quote which was super helpful considering I was ready to pay an arm and a leg.

Honestly, I would give them 6 stars if I could, and would happily recommend their company to anyone who needs plumbing work done. They're wonderful.

We had a great experience with First Chicago. We were having a pest problem with our sump and ejector pumps, but, being new homeowners, really had no idea what to do. I didn't even know what an ejector pump was! First Chicago was informative and responsive. I particularly appreciate their ability to answer questions over email, if it's difficult to talk on the phone during the day. They took the time to understand the problem and recommended a great course of action. They were also the lowest quote we got for these services. Highly recommend!

Kevin is a amazing.  He's helped us a few times with plumbing tragedies.  When we first called him to figure out why our washing machine wasn't draining he fixed the problem and rerouted the mess of pipes under our sink in a more efficient way.  He's done some other work for us, always friendly, and always reasonably priced.  He responds quickly and always tries to work us into his schedule whenever we have an emergency.  He's a great find.

I can't compliment Jesus enough...5 stars doesn't do them justice. We had a pipe burst in our crawlspace as the polar vortex began to thaw. While I was at work, my wife was unable to turn off our house's main water valve. As I raced home from work to help, my wife spotted J Plumbing (Jesus) entering our neighbor's house to assist them with a separate issue. Jesus was more than willing to jump in and help us turn off the water to avoid any additional damage. He then proceeded to come to our house following completing the work at our neighbors. What initially appeared to be a routine pipe replacement turned into a larger project that Jesus and his crew tackled with expertise. We are back up and running all at a very fair price.  I have a new go-to plumbing company...I suggest you call Jesus if you need help.

Great service. Called at night. Came out next morning. Figured out and fixed the problem. Fair price.

I have to give a detailed review because my experience was absolutely amazing. If you don't want to read the full review but want to know a short version: I HIGHLY recommend MHJSS, not just recommend but HIGHLY!

ok, so here is the fine print:
I've been smelling a sewage smell on my 1st floor, coming from my bathroom for the last few years. It comes and goes and when it goes it leaves long enough for me to forget about it. Just recently it came back and is stronger than ever, so much so that I can smell it moving throughout my home. I have a family plumber I've been using since the '90s and I'm big on small business so as usual I called and got my home rodded. Since purchasing my home in 2014 I get an annual rodding done since I can't watch what my company and children flush down the drain.

Wanting to get a 2nd opinion I googled and came up with Mr. Rooter, sent a message on their website, and set up a date and time for them to come to consult. I took off work since they told me it was a window from 12-3 pm. To make a long story short, I work overnight and was asleep when they called me at 8 am the day of to tell me they would arrive at 12. Since I missed the called they canceled my appointment. I was upset when I woke up at 11 am to get this voicemail. I took to google again, I had no patience nor desire to deal with this (Plus they told me since I lived on the south side I needed to pay $90 extra for the plumber to come south).

Google lead me to MHJSS. I read reviews and called. I can't remember who I spoke with but the guy was professional and gave me confidence that I'd found the right company.

About an hour later, Danny called me to say he was on his way. (Quick appointment, same day, no BS). He arrived on time with his partner Jose. They asked the perfect questions and before I could explain everything, they knew what needed to be done and starting accessing. Danny took his time and explained EVERYTHING so that I could understand all about my plumbing issues. He showed me things I didn't expect to see since my family plumber does frequent work at my home. I was able to get a Hydro Jetting and he immediately told me why we could smell the sewage in the house.

Being a novice to this entire industry, Danny and Jose made sure I knew what was going on, why, and how it can be fixed. They took their time, did things correctly, cleaned up behind themselves, and did so in a professional and safe manner. They worked great as a team and even better as plumbers. I felt like I'd know them personally before today since they were so personable. I wasn't rushed, I wasn't pitched a sales pitch, and I was comfortable with them in my home.

Bigger name companies need to take notes from these guys. I hope nothing about their process changes because from now on I will be using MHJSS for all my plumbing needs and will continue to refer them to everyone I know, as a matter of fact, my neighbor will be using them soon for his multiunit apartment building (I gave him MHJSS phone number, LOL).

Great service and price for a gas line installation. I was originally quoted $2.5k by another plumber and it didn't feel right. I spoke with Adam over the phone, took pictures and gave him an rough estimate of the distance for the piping required and he quoted me a price. He came out in a day and held the price we agreed to over the phone. What better service can you ask for cost savings and quick turn around. I will highly recommend them in the future.

Second time using sims and sons. Highly recommend. The Gcfi plug burnt out in my bathroom. When I called they sent someone out in an hour and replaced the gcfi and the circuit for a reasonable price. Great service and prompt. My technician was Inis (sp?) and was friendly and polite

ABV plumbing did a great job. I needed a plumber they quoted a good price and Ivo came at the time that they said they would. He was very efficient and did a great job and was done in a timely manner. I will definitely use them again.

I've used this company before...always very reasonable, friendly and honest. CJ Plumbing & Heating did quite a bit for my house. They sold and installed me a water heater, replaced our faucet in the kitchen. They also installed a new toilet in the downstairs bathroom. Everything turned out very well. Prompt, professional and not pushy with their services. Very happy to have a good plumber I can call whenever a need arises!!!!!

Mike is awesome! What started out as a simple kitchen drain rodding, turned into an angioplasty of about an 18 section of drain pipe due to excessive amount of grease build up. Then, in spite of the drain pressure build-up exploding sludge all over him, he held his composure and cleaned everything up. Very professional with a great work ethic. Mike is now my new go-to plumber.

They came out early per my request and checked a clogged sink. They explained why it seemed clogged and didn't charge me for the consultation since they didn't have to do any unclogging. Very professional, fair, and trustworthy!

I called Noel to replace an ejector pump, and I couldn't be happier with my decision. He was able to come out within two hours of my call. He gave me an estimate up front that I thought was reasonable, and the final price was in line with the quote.

The quality of his work is excellent, and he left the space clean. He's my new go-to guy for plumbing from now on.

Added bonus: my dog liked him too.
