I requested a quote from Drain-EEZ for replacing a drain stopper that wasn't working.  They responded within a few hours to my online inquiry and provided a quote that was reasonable based on the research I had done, so I scheduled it.  Pat and Kevin arrived 30 minutes earlier than the agreed upon time slot only after confirming that I was available.  I'm somewhat handy and do a lot of simple fixes myself, so I had tried to fix the stopper before even calling them but to no avail.  They came in and had it fixed in about 3 minutes - the replacement wasn't even needed.  I guess that's why they are the experts :)  They charged me a reasonable service call fee and in the end saved me a few hundred dollars.  I would highly recommend them.

It's notable that the other 2 plumbers I had contacted wouldn't provide a quote without coming out to see it and would have charged me a fee for the estimate that would be deducted from the price of the work (i.e., free estimate only if I used them for the work, otherwise, I'd be paying just for an estimate).  Given that this was a pretty straightforward request, I didn't feel that paying for a site visit was necessary, so I never did get their quotes.

I'm not sure how these guys stay in business (that's a good thing btw). My water heater went out over the weekend called Mac Monday picked up right away walked me through some basic troubleshooting on the phone and identified the issue with my tank being less than 6 years old he told me to get a hold of the manufacturer, so they could send out a free part, saving me money. Mac didn't need to do that he could have just done it and charged a marked up price for the part and made money off that too. Next Mac walks me through the simple installation that I had 90% complete from working with Rheem. So, the whole repair didn't cost me a dime!! I'm honestly speachless, somebody pay this guy to do something, so he stays in business.

We had a leaky sink that required a faucet replacement in a very tight work area and Rescue Plumbing did a great job. Pete and Noah were very responsive, helpful and professional. They not only did a great job but also were able to fix the problem without having to cut our cabinetry to make more space for all the faucet parts to fit properly under the sink. We would 100% recommend Rescue Plumbing.

Our toilet flooded in the middle of the night on a Sunday. I didn't want to risk serious water damage, so I did a quick search & found fast response from Discount Plumbing. I requested a quote on yelp and they responded within minutes & they said a technician can come out & gives me a FREE quote with no obligation. They arrived in minutes and my toilet soon was able to flushing like it was brand new! I appreciate them walking in with booties and walking me through the whole process & answering my questions. Definitely took the customer service to another level with that. Plus, the 10% coupon helped..

Scotty is a true professional. Setting up an appointment was easy. Scotty called and confirmed two days prior to our scheduled appointment. He arrived promptly on the day of our appointment and got right to work. Scotty got the job done  in a timely manner and work he did wasn't easy. David and his partner were very professional. They were able to explain what the problem was with our sewer and solve the problem. They were very reasonably priced. I will definitely use them again !

We had a back up in our basement that Windy City Plumbing cleared for us.  They were great to work with.  They explained everything and did a thorough job.  Haven't had a problem since.

I was very impressed with the fast response time and honest opinion of First Chicago Plumbing.  I am currently selling a property and the buyer asked to have the rusted gas pipe to the grill outside replaced per the inspection.  I contacted First Chicago Plumbing for an estimate and they got back to me within an hour to schedule an appointment that afternoon! Unlike some other companies I contacted, they did not charge to come out and look at the issue to provide an estimate which I appreciated. Upon looking at the pipe, our plumber, Eugene, stated that the rust was purely cosmetic and was not impacting the functionality (no gas leaks or weak spots); it was just normal for a pipe being outside.  He recommended leaving it alone because the new pipe would rust in a year again anyway and there was nothing wrong with it. I asked for a write up of his recommendation that I could provide to the buyer and he promptly got it to me the same day.

While I did not have any work done, I will definitely contact them in the future for any plumbing needs as I appreciated their honesty and was more than happy with the estimate they provided if, in fact, the pipe were to be replaced.

* Showed up with everything needed to do the work.
* Utilized state-of-the-art copper crimp fittings. Really cool stuff.
* Utilized the proper tools for each task. Had a puller for compression washers and angle stop wrenches. The crimper tool is mesmerizing.
* Very accurate placement of fixtures. Everything is plumb, flush and level.

These guys really give a shit about their trade. Instead of having to interrupt when things aren't done properly, I spent my time learning a few things.

When searching for a handyman/ electrician it can be very overwhelming as there are so many out there! After doing lots of research I finally landing on Sims and sons. They were able to get me in that week to do an estimate with Darrell after the estimate they told me they needed more time and that another electrician would come out the next week.
The next week Nel came out and he was very helpful explaining to me what was wrong and finished within an hour. Being a young female owning my first condo apartment it can be very frustrating when electrical issues come about because I have no ideas what to do! ha Having an electrician like Sims and sons that are are reliable and good prices makes all the difference!

5 stars! I had a toilet giving the phantom flush and it was loud and annoying! I found ABV and decided to give them a call, based on stellar google reviews. Amazingly, Chris was able to come over in less than an hour. He needed a new part, and was back in a flash. From calling to finish, it was less than 2 hours!

I really appreciate the attentive service and ability to address my problem right away. Not only am I keeping his card for all future plumbing needs but will be recommending his fine service to everyone.

Juan and company were great. Contacted them using Yelp and he was out here the next day with a free estimate. He was able to start immediately which was also helpful and unexpected.
They fixed a severely clogged sink. Some copper water piping replacement that was showing signs of corrosion. Inspected what I thought was a severe leak that only turned out to be a slow leaking outdoor faucet. Even took the time to give me a helpful tutorial on adjusting the water level for my sump pump.
Keeping his info handy for our future needs. Would highly recommend.

Noel was fairly priced and definitely goes above and beyond. I rarely write reviews but he deserves one. He did a great job installing a toilet and fixing our shower drain. Clearly extremely knowledgeable. He also just gave great advice via phone even prior to us hiring him to do the job. He came during the covid crisis and was masked, gloved, etc. we will be going to him for everything from now on!
