Update: I had a 4 star review instead of a 5 based on price...high. It's now 2 stars. The first handyman (Punchlist Plumbing & Bath) hired  took shower head off and it was now leaking (wasn't an issue before). Drain-Eez came out fixed the problems from the first repair that weren't fixed by Punchlist and then took the shower head off, saying I needed a new one & could do that myself. After Pat from DrainEez left, I took out my plumber's tape and reinstalled the shower head...no leaks. What exactly am I paying $685 for when you can't even toss in a few inches of plumber's tape and screw on a shower head  for an extra 5 minutes of your DOCTOR's pay? I changed my mind. I won't be using this person again. It's sort of like a bad one night stand with all these plumbers, electricians, mechanics, etc.  They leave in the morning  and you realize they took your wallet!  I'll add Pat remarked on no one wants to fix or repair their places anymore. I'll add to that- it's because the average person cannot afford to hire people to fix stuff. Most of us don't earn Plumber's Pay.  This repair set me back, seriously...I pray nothing else breaks in the next few months. Now, I know why my poor aunt kept a dishpan under her leaky sink for years.

Pat was helpful and completed the job in a timely manner. He was honest that he couldn't get to my place for a week, he's not in this area (Rogers Park) often. He fixed what a handyman screwed up even worse than it was. He had an assistant with him, so I can understand the high price-kinda. Still, the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is $685 for less than two hours work & that included having to go get the part, changing out parts that cost tops $60 total.  I wanted to cry but what can I do, I've been without a shower for weeks. I'll forgo some groceries for awhile & work overtime if I can. I just don't get on average $300 an hour for almost all repairmen. I mean brain surgery it's not, but unless you are really sure, you won't screw it up yourself & that your place is brand new without any of the glitches that occurs when you own an old place, some things are best left in a pro's hands. I would still use him again for anything that I can't fix myself (which I'm actually capable of doing) & I'm grateful I can now take a shower again.

Mac was quick and responsive when we called on a Sunday, as well as very efficient and fair-priced. Would definitely use his services again.

Jay showed up within an hour of contacting Rescue Plumbing and we could not be happier. We had water coming from the walls and ceilings as a result of an overflowing pipe. He diagnosed the root issue and got it cleaned up in no time and was so courteous, professional, masked, and best yet, kind and resourceful! Could not be happier!!

What a complete professional, honest, accurate and very reasonable price conscious company! I was frustrated as I had sewer water coming up trough a drain in an apartment that I rent out so I had tenants that were anxious and it was below zero out. The response I got came in less than 2 minutes, they were there and accurately discovered the pipe issue.  Thomas both explained to me and my tenant Matt where the issue was, I got a video of them traveling through the pipe with a camera and 15 still pictures sent to me so I could be aware of the progress and what was happening. Thomas and his crew, fixed the issue, was honest about what could also be another issue, which it wasn't after they completed the job. Showed to another plumber who was very impressed with the video, agreed with the issue and was also very impressed with the price we were told and exactly where the job landed when all was said and done. I'm so happy I found them, can't express enough how complete on all levels our experience was. When done, cleaned everything up too!

We had a major plumbing problem, actually it was a nightmare. We needed an inside sewer pipe rerouted, which I new from the start. I called a 3 different plumbers to see who I felt comfortable with and knew what to do. The first plumber saw what needed to be done and ran. The second plumber seemed ok. Then Jose came out, he knew what the problem was and guaranteed his work 100%. This company is the absolute best company I've ever dealt with and I've dealt with many. They came out when they were suppose to. They were very upfront and the only company that was a completely confident in what needed to be done. They worked till 11pm until the job was finished. When have you ever seen that???They cleaned up!!! The cracked sewer pipe is now in the past....  I had Jose come back and re-install my garbage disposal which 3 other plumbers supposedly fixed. All of the other plumbers were to lazy to cut the connecting pipes properly so it wouldn't sit on an angle and leak. I can't believe it took 4 plumbers to fix the problem. It  took Jose less than a half  hour  to fix it...  Don't hesitate one moment to call this company. You won't ever meet better people. Thank You Jose, Bill & Brian !!!!

First Chicago Plumbing and Eugene in particularly were fabulous to work with.  We used First Chicago Plumbing to replace the galvanized pipes in our building with copper and it was a good experience through the whole process.  I especially appreciated that Eugene was very communicative through the whole process and took the time to explain all the equipment installed and what he had done that day or encountered in terms of complications.  Would definitely recommend!

Jesus came over the weekend to fix our clogged sink. I texted him at 10 AM and he was here a little after 1 PM - a huge relief as most places were telling me it would be at least 3 days before anyone could actually fix it. Pricing was reasonable for the short-notice/emergency - he fixed the problem quickly and was able to recommend fixes for the larger problems we have (he's coming back to do those too!). At the end of his visit, we asked Jesus to just make sure pipes under the sink were re-connected properly - he noticed the previous owner had not only used the wrong parts, but installed them wrong too. He was able to get us the right parts from his truck, fixed them and got us feeling confident about our plumbing again. He's a real good one!

The plumber (Tim) from Green Tech was at my house this morning. He came early, analyzed the situation, fixed our problem (leaking tub faucet) with a creative solution and was on his way. Quickly, efficiently.
He was pleasant, respectful and professional.
In these uncertain times, a plumbing problem was not planned for and I was nervous about having anyone in my house. He wore gloves, mask and booties and we kept our distance...actually, I waited outside as he worked. Fantastic service!

Our outside sewer line was draining very slowly after the rain. I requested a quote on Yelp and received reply from Mike in a day. He is able to give ma a quote after I showed him several photos. The repair was scheduled in several days because it was not an emergency. Daniel and Jose called 15min in advance and showed up on time. They were able to get a bunch of roots and dirts out of the drain and used snake to go all the way to clear the drain. Our drain was clear and flow very well after the cleanup. They also explained to us how to keep the drain clean and some maintenance tips. They also offered a 30 day warranty which is really nice. I am very happy about their service and highly recommend Midwest Hydro Jetting to anyone who wants an affordable and reliable service. Five stars!

Great service and price for a gas line installation. I was originally quoted $2.5k by another plumber and it didn't feel right. I spoke with Adam over the phone, took pictures and gave him an rough estimate of the distance for the piping required and he quoted me a price. He came out in a day and held the price we agreed to over the phone. What better service can you ask for cost savings and quick turn around. I will highly recommend them in the future.

I had a fixture changed needed at a rental property I own and reached out to 5 electricians and got zero responses....geez folks I know home improvement is bananas right now but seriously? Then I was referred to Darrell at Sims- not only did her respond immediately but he also followed up to schedule the work when he said he would- amazing huh?
He and his guys were on time, masked, efficient and generally speaking really good guys. He is now my go to person.

Our sump pump failed at night and I reached out to ABV on Yelp and they responded even after hours to address my concern.  They came the next morning and changed my existing sump pump and even showed me exactly what was wrong with the first one.  Ivo was very friendly and helpful.  I would recommend them to anyone looking for plumbing service.

Then goes above and beyond to explain how it is done so you can know how to do it yourself is also a plus in my eyes. Highly recommend Mike! He was great at communication, texted updates & arrived when he said he was going to. Wore a mask the entire time. We had a laundry list of issues - leaking faucet, replacement of shut off valves, wax ring replacement on one of our toilets, etc. He had a cancellation & was able to come back & take care of all our issues the same day. He also fixed minor things we didn't think to ask about (& he didn't charge extra for these fixes) - fixed water pressure, secured a wiggly knob on our sink, etc. He did the work quickly & left our place tidy & clean. So happy we found Mike!

We had an issue turning on our pilot light in our hot water heater and A&Y came out that afternoon. It turned out that we were actually doing it wrong (whoops!) but they were super helpful and informative and walked me through the steps of turning it on correctly.
