Great company!!! My garbage disposal wasn't working and I called and spoke to Pat to set up an appointment.  Rather than charging me to come out (over $100) he gave me a quick recommendation on how to fix it and I was able to handle it on my own!  THAT is service and integrity!  Definitely calling them for any of my other needs.

I called early in the morning and spoke with Jimmy Mac to see if someone could look at my leaking water heater in the afternoon. He asked me to send photos of the water heater and the problem areas. He stayed in touch regarding his arrival time and was professional, genuinely friendly and efficient from the time he arrived to the time he and his partner left. I appreciated that he told me what I would see if I researched the normal lifespan of a water heater and cost of replacement and he was right. My water heater and some pipes were replaced same-day for a reasonable price. He stayed until the entire job was done right, from the levelness of the tank on my uneven basement floor to making sure the water pressure in an old faucet returned to normal, before he left.
Great responsiveness and customer service. Would call them again in a heartbeat.

Our toilet flooded in the middle of the night on a Sunday. I didn't want to risk serious water damage, so I did a quick search & found fast response from Discount Plumbing. I requested a quote on yelp and they responded within minutes & they said a technician can come out & gives me a FREE quote with no obligation. They arrived in minutes and my toilet soon was able to flushing like it was brand new! I appreciate them walking in with booties and walking me through the whole process & answering my questions. We contacted Rocket after reading their glowing reviews on Yelp and were so satisfied that we wanted to add our feedback here, too.

I reached out to Rocket via their website on the day before New Years Eve and heard back within an hour by email (from Adam).

I explained to Adam that we had a banging noise coming from our hot water heater and I was nervous about how long it would last before something more serious happened.

Rocket sent someone out right away and even helped us with the warranty claim to the hot weater heater manufacturer.  Amazing considering we did not buy the original water heater through Rocket!

Thomas and his crew cleared out our main line for a third of the cost that other plumbers were quoting. Instead of installing a new clean out like other plumbers suggested, he figured out how to clear roots using the catch basin.

Save yourself some time and just call Jose @ Windy City Plumbing.  These guys have come to my house several times over the past 15 years.  They are quick to call back.  Their work is also done quickly, efficiently and done right.  Jose does not take shortcuts.  He is honest and dependable and prices fairly.  I highly recommend Windy City Plumbing.  You won't be disappointed.

I can only say wonderful things about Eugene and George!  Our hot water heater started leaking (with nothing to drain it) on Friday night.  I messaged Eugene through Yelp around 10pm and he responded an hour later that he could likely help me on Saturday.  Eugene and George were at our house on Saturday by 1pm to fix our unit and installed quickly.  They even suggested a tray and pvc tubing to drain the tank should we have leaking again.

I would suggest these guys to anyone!  I would also use them for any future plumbing needs.

They fixed our water valve as it wasn't turning off our water. They did the work in a few hours and even helped diagnose/fix a leak in our shower. Another company wanted to tear open our walls to fix this leak when it just needed some silicone between the tub and wall.

I would definitely have them do all future pluming work again!

What you NEED to know is in the last paragraph. TL;DR: This is the best home services experience I've ever had in my life.

We had a clogged toilet at 3 a.m. after hosting a  New Year's Eve party at our new home. Not the ideal way to kick off 2020. Using a plunger, we were able to get the water to flush very slowly and figured we got rid of the clog.

2 days later, the toilet still wasn't working. I requested a quote on Yelp, and Mike responded within minutes. Not only was the price competitive, but Mike offered to give me free advice on how to fix the problem myself in the event that it could save me time and money.

After trying all the conventional methods (plunger, auger) to no avail, I called Mike again to schedule service. He sent Danny who was at the house within 15 minutes. Danny was incredibly polite and thorough moving from auger to removing the toilet. Having tried all standard methods, Danny let us know that he would have to bring in the power rodder and that Mike was on his way to help out. Danny laid tarp along house to wheel in the huge machine, and Mike tried to think of other ways to solve this not-so-typical issue.

They ended up going to our crawlspace and rodding the pipes through there. I'll spare the details, but after a couple hours, the problem was fixed. Danny and Mike cleaned up the bathroom and closet with crawlspace access. And the toilet flushes like new.

I can't speak highly enough of this experience. We couldn't have asked for better service and, quite frankly, didn't know home services of this caliber existed. I would never hesitate to recommend giving these gentlemen a call, even for free advice. They'll be my go-to for any future plumbing issues (knock on wood), as well as if anyone ever asks if we know a good plumber. Mike giving us a discount for finding them through Yelp was a much-appreciated bonus.

Adam and Angelo did a fantastic job fixing my blocked sewer and then cleaning the sewage pit out in our basement. They were quick and courteous and I'm very happy with their work. I have used captain rooter in the past and will be using them again.

These guys are great. They don't upsell you, but they definitely let you know if things are not up to code and give you an option of fixing them. They stayed very late today and fixed a bunch of stuff. Fantastic service and easy to work with. They definitely work with you on price.

I used ABV plumbing three different times and will continue to use them in the future for all plumbing needs. They are honest with pricing, flexible with scheduling, and very professional in helping me understand options instead of just selling one thing. This level of transparency is usually not encountered with services such as these and for that reason ABV plumbing will always be my go to when needs arise.

Good experience overall. Reached out on a Saturday, connected with Dmitri and received two quotes that were dependent on the root cause of the issue (slow draining water) and set up an appointment for the following Tuesday.

Lenny showed up and provided more details on the quotes and was off to work. Within a half hour he called me from my office and walked me through what he did, and showed me the draining issue had been fixed. Quick, reasonable and solid work all around.

I had a really bad kitchen sink clog that I tried snaking it myself with no luck.  Was referred to Mike, called and left a message, and had a return call within 30 minutes.  Mike juggled his schedule to come by same day and had my problem fixed in short order.  Highly recommend calling Mike when you have a need.

Juan came out to replace a wax ring on a toilet. He quickly did the work and the toilet is now very secure. He was  friendly and able to do the work with a days notice. Reasonable price and very responsive. I would definitely use him again for any plumbing work I need done.

I rarely feel compelled to write a yelp review but this guy deserved my time and more.  I called him in the morning as I happened to have the day off and he came by immediately, assessed our problem, encouraged me to call my husband at work when I was unsure what to do/what decision to make (never pushed me to do the pricier option in terms of repair work), then quoted me, bought parts and fixed my issue in a matter of hours.  He was courteous, aware of snowy boots, etc, and I felt that he was honest and professional and in general, just a good hard working guy.  Much prefer workin with a good 'ol irishman like him to the big box guys anyday.
HIGHLY recommend.
