Pat was very responsive and helpful - was able to give me an extremely reasonable quote over the phone and get someone out within a couple of days.  Lou was the plumber that actually came to work on the issue and he was just as helpful as Pat.  Did a great job and fixed the problem within an hour and was very knowledgeable!  Would highly recommend this company for any plumbing work you need!

Amazing service in every way. Called at 9 pm, and after a few questions, answers, and photos, they were there with a brand new hot water heater at 8 am the next morning. Fast, friendly, professional.....couldn't ask for anything more!!

I had Eugene come out an install an ice line for my fridge. I had incorrectly informed the team when they were quoting the job that the valve needed to connect the line was there. When Eugene came out he saw that he needed to go out a buy the piece I needed to get the job done correctly. He worked with integrity and I wasn't charged extra for his time buying the necessary part due my error. I felt their prices were reasonable, plumbing is never cheap, but I felt the price was fair. I would definitely recommend Eugene and First Chicago Plumbing.

Quick service and fair pricing.  YouTube unfortunately couldn't help me fix this issue by myself, so I had to call in the plumber; very pleased with the results.

They were WONDERFUL! Super communicative over Yelp and the phone; fixed our kitchen sink drain VERY quickly after another company came and failed (and tried to get me to do all sorts of extra other work); were super neat, conscientious, and careful; and were lovely to work with. We're asking them to do other work for us, too. As they walked around looking at our house to help do the estimates, they advised us on different approaches to save money and for better effect. Really loved this company.

Adam was very professional and knowledgeable. He helped me clean and maintain my sump pump as well a upgrade it. He gave advice as to how better maintain the equipment. He also looked at the big picture and gave feedback on other areas outside of the issue he was resolving.

We hired Sims and Sons to install an additional electrical outlet and they did a fantastic job. Work was done in one day. We later had another issue when one of our painters (from another company) accidentally damaged the internal wiring. When I reached out to Darrell, they knew exactly how to fix the problem and promptly came in and fixed. They are true experts in their trade and I will definitely go back to them for all of our electrical needs.

We had some major pipe leak in our attic and I was able to get them to come out and figure out the problem and get the leaking under control immediately. They did need to return in a week to fix the pipe problem and they did an outstanding job. Dmitry the owner was great and worked with my landlords insurance company to make sure they had everything they needed. He could have said no to this and moved onto the next job but spent numerous hours talking to an unreasonable insurance company and did not get paid for this. It showed he cared about the customer and was not all about the money. Also, Lenny on his team who did the major work was great and kept us up to speed on everything. This is a great company who I highly recommend. Very trusty worthy and pricing was reasonable as well. Need more businesses like this!!!

I have a tenant in Rogers Park and needed someone who would be able to go to the tenant and take care of a clogged sink. (I do not live near enough to be able to head over on short notice myself.) Mike responded to my request almost immediately, we talked on the phone and I provided him with all the information I thought would be helpful. He gave me a very reasonable quote and was able to schedule an appointment with my tenant and handle everything that needed to be done. The job was not too small for him! So grateful that he was able to come out and handle this for me and quickly! My tenant said that Mike was an awesome dude and everything is now running smoothly. When it rains it pours. Juan and team did a great job on our original issue and then a totally separate issue came about the next day. The issue was messy and did not smell good. Juan and team showed up the very next morning and replaced a pump that had gone bad. Their work is thorough and Juan explains the problem so it's easy to understand. This man deserves any amount of business he wants in this world, or the next, if they have pipes up there.

In the late 1990s I needed a plumber to untangle the Three Stooges hornet's nest of plumbing in my old house, and was referred to Noel. Fast forward to the flash freeze of January 2013, which burst the water pipes behind my drywall: Noel responded in minutes, came over within an hour, provided a very fair estimate and finished the repair in a day.

Two additional factors aren't make-or-break, but are telling of the kind of work and business ethic Noel exemplifies, which I thought vanished a generation ago: First, he approached the problem with great care, pinpointing the source of the problem and minimizing how much drywall he would have to remove... saving me hundreds of dollars on the NEXT contractor I'll need to call. Second, when I thought the job was done and he would be out the door, he asked me if I happened to have a broom and dustpan... and proceeded to leave the work are cleaner than he found it.

One cannot ask for more of any kind of service provider.
