Very quick response time late on Memorial Day evening, Pat spent 20 minutes with me on the phone trying to resolve the issue prior to scheduling the appointment. Came the next day on time and were able to fix quickly!

Hot Water Heater Repair Superheroes!

We had our hot water heater go out 6 hours before a house full of guests arrived - it was a true hot water heater repair emergency! We found Mac at Fastplumbing247 and he was our saving grace! He was here within an hour, got our pilot light working but let us know the hot water heater was on borrowed time. Sure enough this morning, hot water heater goes down for good. My husband called Mac to the rescue and he and Shawn were here right away at 9:04 with a hot water tank in hand!! Amazing. We live in a 4th floor walk-up and they got the tank up and in, moved our washer and dryer out of the way with immaculate care; having seen our tight set up last week, they even came prepared with floor protection. After realizing some of the duct/pipe work was crumbling, they even ran out to buy us new piping AND (poor guys) got a ticket on our street, but still, Mac insisted the price stay at his quote despite the extra labor, materials and ticket. Friendliest guys, amazing care, faster than fast, excellent work - I truly cannot put enough stars behind Fastplumbing. They have now saved the day twice for us and they are officially the only plumbers we will ever use again - your search is over! Especially if your hot water heater is in need of repair or replace, these are your guys.

Wow! Sara V, a representative of Rescue Plumbing, thinks my review is totally false! Yet another reason to never do business with these people. I own the condo that was the subject of this review and I can absolutely, 100% guarantee you that this review is accurate. Sara V is correct that Rescue Plumbing didn't provide a quote to me, they provided it to my single female tenant who they presumably viewed as a mark to exploit. Check out the other reviews that are less than 5 stars. Many of them report similar attempts to overcharge. See specifically, Susana K., Samyukta L., Brandon S., David S. and Michael A. Not sure what else to say, except you've been warned about Rescue Plumbing and you've witnessed, in Sara V's response, their willingness to outright lie to cover up their shady business practices. I'll say it again, NEVER, NEVER do business with these people!

Responsive and gave us honest recommendations to fix issue compared to another company which we got a quote for 4x the amount we ended up spending.

We recently moved into a new home (new to us) and have had a number of plumbing issues.  Sam from Rocket has been great - he is extremely knowledgeable and is quick to tell you when he doesn't think additional work is necessary, which is refreshing.  The only reason this isn't a 5-star review is that Rocket is so busy that it is sometimes difficult to get them on short notice.

Thomas and Dan were professional and responsive. We had a leak issue from our first floor to the basement and Dan had great availability. He came out and fixed our issue- was very thorough and helpful with other questions we had. I will definitely be calling them for any future plumbing issue. Thanks again Thomas and Dan!!

Chris and Julio were AWESOME. They were super courteous and friendly, which is not always a given these days. I called this company to investigate a leak at the base of our toilet -- typically an issue with the wax seal. However, almost instantly they figured out that the leak was from a shoddy renovation job a couple years ago (different contractor); they then fixed it on the spot. This basically saved us from potentially having water leak into the neighbors below us... and all for a very fair price. Highly recommended -- save yourself the time and hassle of shopping around and just give these guys a call.

There aren't enough stars to provide an accurate rating for First Chicago Plumbing. I reached out with an immediate need, our water heater had decided to go out on one of the coldest days in chicago. The entire group of people was the most friendly and accommodating to work with. They had someone out within the same day, had the quote for the new unit within minutes of the site visit, and the new unit was installed within 48 hours. There were several follow ups from them after the installation making sure everything was working properly which was awesome! Everything was explained throughout the work that was being done. I cannot stress this enough, if you need a plumber in the city of chicago you have found them. Highly recommend this group!

Kevin did an amazing job modernizing/ retrofitting the pluming in our condo.  Other plumbers walked away from this job but Kevin thought creatively and did a wonderful job installing a brand new shower where one never existed before, putting in a new washer dryer set up where it never existed before, and replacing the old piping with copper piping for our tub/shower.   I was thinking later about why I was so pleased with his service and realized that it was his attitude (along with his obvious skill).  Other contractors I had come in to look at various parts of the job (particularly the plumbing) were snarky to rude about my budget and the fact that we would be doing most of the construction work ourselves. Kevin was always professional and helpful.

Had a garbage disposal that broke and starting leaking from the bottom which usually means its time for a replacement. Jesus quickly provided me 2 quotes based on if I supplied the disposal myself or if he did. Ultimately, I had him provide the disposal and perform this install. He was able to arrange an appointment to do the job promptly and was flexible with timing. Jesus and his apprentice showed up on time, within the estimate, and left my kitchen in great shape. Disposal works great, no more leak, and would recommend him for any other plumbing work.

I can summarize my Green Tech service call with a single word: OUTSTANDING!  Tim arrived at my home on time and practiced Covid-19 safety protocol.  He was kind, knowledgeable, and very professional.

Had a kitchen sink clog well past the P-trap that I spent hours trying to fix myself with several trips to the hardware store.  Danny and Alex came out the next day and fixed it without an issue.  Very friendly people and did a great job, cleaned up the water and junk that came out of the pipes so I didn't have to ruin my towels doing it myself.  Also very reasonably priced compared to other quotes.

Thanks again!  You'll have my business again next time (hopefully won't need a next time though!)

I left a message on Yelp 4/12 re: a noise made after flushing my toilet and using my sink.  They came promptly on 4/13 and the tech was nice, friendly, prompt and stated that the pump needed replacing.  The amount of $320 was quoted.  Not sure if that was more than what I should pay but since I wanted the noise to stop, the tech was friendly, I went ahead with them.   Since then I have had no issues with job.  Will use them again.

Darrell is awesome! He totally saved the day when we were having trouble wiring and hanging a fan. He installed it in about 15 minutes and fixed a couple of broken outlets while he was at it. He took the time to explain to us our options and made sure we understood what he was telling us. We will absolutely call Darrell again next time we need an electrician!

I used ABV plumbing three different times and will continue to use them in the future for all plumbing needs. They are honest with pricing, flexible with scheduling, and very professional in helping me understand options instead of just selling one thing. This level of transparency is usually not encountered with services such as these and for that reason ABV plumbing will always be my go to when needs arise.

This is the second time we've used them. They are by far the best. They just fixed the drain from our furnace. It was flooding our first floor. The other plumbers wanted way more to do it. If you want fast good work you have to use these guys. I'm glad we have them as our plumbers.

I highly recommend Mike! He came out yesterday to assess and fix a leaky pipe and he was honest and kind and straightforward. He did the work the same day and charged a fair price and worked efficiently. We will definitely be a customer of his in the future!

Noel came on short notice and was friendly, prompt, efficient and did a great job resolving my old building's drain issue.  One of the best plumbers I've ever had to use for an emergency repair.
