Best Plumbing Services in Chicago, IL

At about 8pm, on a Thursday, 2 brilliant gals decide to pull their dishwasher out of its place to clean behind it.  Of course, a tube underneath it starts to leak immediately.

Unfortunately, this was my story last night.  I panicked and went to Yelp immediately, looking for a 24 hr. plumber.  I got in touch with someone from Drain EEZ and they were super friendly, easy to talk to, and walked me through how to shut the water line off.  They offered to come the next day which was great!

Talked me through getting my water heater up and running again and saved me the time and expense of a house call. Knowledgeable and courteous!

We had a flood in our basement and Dex Murati showed up within the hour. He was able to fix the problem, replace our water pump and gave us valuable advice on how to prepare the claim for your insurance company. His professionalism was of the utmost quality. Not to mention that even after his work was done, he followed up twice to make sure that we were being taking care of by the renovation company and the insurance. We were grateful for his help and prompt response/attention.

We noticed water leaking from our garbage disposal on Sunday evening and contacted Scott based on his Yelp reviews. He responded quickly and made time for us with short notice. He asked great questions and for pics of the sink ahead of time so he was prepared with all the replacement parts right away. He was fast, professional and gave great recommendations for improving the safety of the wiring to our disposal. I'm so glad we hired him, Scott will definitely be our go-to for any future needs!

Can I give them 6 stars?? I called the main number and hung up after it never went to a voicemail. A minute later, someone called me back and was very apologetic for missing my call. Within two hours I had someone in my kitchen with the necessary tools and supplies to replace my garbage disposal and kitchen faucet. Marlan was wonderful! Friendly, clean, and helpful. They gave me two options for a chrome faucet that they had in their truck. Unfortunately, the faucet I selected didn't have proper water pressure (faulty model?) and when I called Marlan the next day he offered to come back out the next business day he was available to replace it. The following Tuesday he brought a new brushed nickel faucet that he knew would match my appliances! I hear angels singing every time I use it. Highly recommend.

Great experience all around. Quick response, easy to communicate with by text and phone. Showed up the next day, right on time, and got the job done. Highly recommend.

The most horrible thing that has ever happened to me was my kitchen sink becoming clogged. I didn't even know that was a thing that could happen since I have a garbage disposal and am very careful what I put in there!
Anyways, I tried the Yelp app feature of asking for estimates from different plumbing places, and first Chicago was the only one that responded with an actual dollar amount estimate right away.

They fixed the problem for the amount of money they estimated. I will definitely use them for my future plumbing needs.

I will say, they changed our appt time the day of because the plumber had to bump is to see an emergency. Of course, if I have an emergency in the future I would be happy if they came to keep first so I get it. But, if you are a person that is very impatient or anal about time you have to consider that.

Sound was prompt and fixed a broken external faucet that had been leaking for a while.  Everyone was very friendly and pricing was fair.

Jesus came, explained the issue, told me the price and fix the problem. Very knowledgeable about his line of work and friendly. What else can you ask for.

If you ever have plumbing problems, call him first. Hopefully I will never have to use his services again, lol, but if I do, I know I can't go wrong.

What you NEED to know is in the last paragraph. TL;DR: This is the best home services experience I've ever had in my life.

We had a clogged toilet at 3 a.m. after hosting a  New Year's Eve party at our new home. Not the ideal way to kick off 2020. Using a plunger, we were able to get the water to flush very slowly and figured we got rid of the clog.

2 days later, the toilet still wasn't working. I requested a quote on Yelp, and Mike responded within minutes. Not only was the price competitive, but Mike offered to give me free advice on how to fix the problem myself in the event that it could save me time and money.

After trying all the conventional methods (plunger, auger) to no avail, I called Mike again to schedule service. He sent Danny who was at the house within 15 minutes. Danny was incredibly polite and thorough moving from auger to removing the toilet. Having tried all standard methods, Danny let us know that he would have to bring in the power rodder and that Mike was on his way to help out. Danny laid tarp along house to wheel in the huge machine, and Mike tried to think of other ways to solve this not-so-typical issue.

They ended up going to our crawlspace and rodding the pipes through there. I'll spare the details, but after a couple hours, the problem was fixed. Danny and Mike cleaned up the bathroom and closet with crawlspace access. And the toilet flushes like new.

I can't speak highly enough of this experience. We couldn't have asked for better service and, quite frankly, didn't know home services of this caliber existed. I would never hesitate to recommend giving these gentlemen a call, even for free advice. They'll be my go-to for any future plumbing issues (knock on wood), as well as if anyone ever asks if we know a good plumber. Mike giving us a discount for finding them through Yelp was a much-appreciated bonus.

Giving this company a 3 star due to prices seem a bit high, total was $365 for a flap and valve replacement, $325 after the new customer discount from Yelp. Issue was the toilet would not fill up properly and also would not flush without pouring water in the toilet. Pat showed up within a half and hour and job was complete within an hour. Good customer service. This is a good company for emergencies, but their prices are higher than average.

Nice enough and responsive scheduling via text. However the cost vs effort put in to look at our leak was not worth it compared to other vendors I've worked with. If you have a trickier issue, I'd say look elsewhere.

Awesome customer service and the technician really knew what he was doing. Even made recommendations on what to look out for to maintain a heathy plumbing in the house.

I called them after multiple pipes had frozen, thawed, and burst in our home. They got back to us right away and helped us the following morning. Dmitry methodically figured out each issue, checked in to explain what was happening, fixed the issue, and got us back on our feet in a day. And did so with care to preserve as much of our fixtures and bathroom as possible. An honest, responsive plumbing company we will be sure to call the next time we have an issue.

Great place. They had to come out twice. We had water noises, bad smells, and bubbling through our toilet. They came out and identified 1 significant contribution. They corrected the problem for the price the quoted and they outlined what they may need to do next if that didn't resolve it.

It didn't resolve all of the issues, so they came back out the following week. Did more work again for the price they quoted.

Not only did they do a great job at a fair price, but they explained everything to me along the way. Probably spent 8-10 hours working and explaining.

Great people. They are my go to from now on.

I would HIGHLY recommend Noel to any Lakeview homeowner. The basement toilets in our duplex down suddenly stopped flushing today.  I called Noel at 2 PM thinking it was just a clog.  He arrived less than 2 hours later and uncovered that we had a broken ejector pump. He offered to wear a mask (We have a baby at home.) and took the time to educate me on our home's mechanicals. He even gave me good tips to keep our plumbing in tip top shape!  He had a replacement pump and all the tools necessary to finish the job in 3 hours.  We have a very tight mechanical closet so it wasn't an easy task.

Noel is a consummate professional and a very kind person as well.   We will be repeat clients!
