We had a leaking toilet - called Drain-EEZ based on 2 previous great experiences with them. Although it took 2 visits to complete the project, they helped us fix the problem and were just wonderful with their customer service.

Mac is truly a good man. He was honest, transparent, and really helped us out with our water tank. We were being overcharged for an old, over-sized tank, and Mac leveled with us on what would get the job done. This will save us a ton of $$ over the long run on electric bills. On top of that, he was a positive and upbeat guy which just made him enjoyable to work with. I would highly recommend Mac and Fast Plumbing!

Thank you to Rescue Plumbing quick service, and especially to Pete and Noah for their professional communication, clean and timely service.  I appreciate the phone call 20 minutes prior to their arrival to let me know they were about to arrive.  Pete and Noah were able to quickly install our RO filter system for under the kitchen sink, and replace a leaky faucet hose.  There was a minor product leak (not purchased from them) that they were able to find and fix it.  I will defiantly call and ask for them again.  Thank you!

Our toilet flooded in the middle of the night on a Sunday. I didn't want to risk serious water damage, so I did a quick search & found fast response from Discount Plumbing. I requested a quote on yelp and they responded within minutes & they said a technician can come out & gives me a FREE quote with no obligation. They arrived in minutes and my toilet soon was able to flushing like it was brand new! I appreciate them walking in with booties and walking me through the whole process & answering my questions. Scotty is a true professional. Setting up an appointment was easy. Scotty called and confirmed two days prior to our scheduled appointment. He arrived promptly on the day of our appointment and got right to work. Scotty got the job done  in a timely manner and work he did wasn't easy. I will definitely be calling him again for any more plumbing issues I might have.

Returned my call very promptly,made an appointment and plumber called on day of to keep me posted on his timing. He was very professonal,quoted me a price before beginning work and was in and out in no time. Would definitely reocmmend and use again.

Thomas was very communicative, he came out to the property to provide a free quote, and he promptly sent the quote pdfs. I was disappointed after talking with another plumber at how Thomas seemed to be trying to up-charge us for repairs and procedures that were not necessary to fix our problem. I don't think I will reach out again to Thomas, despite his good communication, as trust was broken by the amount he was proposing charging.

For potential clients reading this review: A year passing since this quote was sent makes my review all the more relevant. We ended up having the check valve and sump pump replaced for $1300 total. Chicago Sewer & Drain quoted us $1100 for camera/hydrojetting the main sewer line, $1600 for an ejector pump replacement, $1200 for a sump pump replacement, and the check valve replacement would be included with other repairs. We had significant savings with the approach we took (over $2000), and everything works perfectly fine over a year later. This is why I characterized the quotes as upsell.

My mainline was clogged up because of tree roots and needed it to get rodded out. I contacted several businesses and Windy City was the most affordable. Chris and Adan came out and did not disappoint. They didn't waste any time getting to work, explained what was going on and cleaned up everything afterward. Very professional service and very pleased with the work they did.

Sound Plumbing came out again for a potential water leak that I've been losing my mind over for 6 months. They were kind about opening holes in the wall in unseen places so I wouldn't have to patch and asked me to confirm I felt I needed to open a visible hole elsewhere with their recommendation/insight before doing so. VERY professional and easy to work with.

We had very good experience working with Kevin. I did not meet him personally, I was not home when he came to do the job but communication with Kevin was very easy. I am way past due writing this review, but came back to Yelp because these guys 100% deserve 5 stars.  Long story short, my kitchen sink clogged and started leaking on Thanksgiving.  After another plumber failed to get the sink unclogged and whose next step was intense (read: expensive), I decided to get another plumber out to see if they could resolve the clog.  Enter Midwest Hydro Jetting, who sent two wonderful guys out that not only unclogged my sink in a matter of minutes (and this was 4 months ago and we're still going strong), they also corrected the hookup to my dishwasher to make it run better, and they stuck around to make sure the everything was working properly.  Everyone was super friendly and professional, from start to finish.

We had a distressing evening full of gas leaks and a late night shut off by People's Gas. Captain Rooter was the first emergency 24/7 plumbing provider to return our call.  Adam was an exceptional resource and help on a difficult project. He and his colleague David assessed, provided a price upfront, pressure tested before and after the work, and labored diligently for three hours to complete the job. People's Gas came and verified a job well done and our gas was reconnected less than 24 hours after the turn off. We really appreciated Adam's resourcefulness and creativity and would absolutely recommend him for future work.

Amazing company. They've helped me 3 times in the past 2 years. Today, Darrell, the owner, came to fix my circuit breaker. He arrived quickly; 45 min after I called him as I had no electricity. He fixed it in 15 min and didn't even charge me. He is a so very helpful and a nice guy. The other electricians that have been here from Sims are also just as nice and reliable. I highly recommend these guys. It's hard to find reliable electricians and these guys are just that. Reasonably priced, come as soon as you need them, fair, knowledgeable and amazing. What a relief that I called them today. Thank you Darrell!

Completely recommend ABV Plumbing! Very reasonably priced, extremely prompt to reply and flexible scheduling. I had a toilet job at my condo that when ABV came out determined the water shutoff valve was rusted so I needed to reschedule service after working with the association to shut off the water. They were flexible with the changes and also made other recommendations they noticed were wrong with the toilet. Very thorough in every aspect. I'll definitely use ABV again!

Dmitri was amazing!  After our previous plumber had repaired a leaking kitchen faucet, we noticed the water pressure had dropped significantly.    We called this plumber for some help trouble-shooting; the owner was completely uninterested in helping us, and failed to even return my call.

I then researched local plumbers on Yelp and noticed that CJ Plumbing in Evanston had received spectacular reviews.  I called and talked to Dmitri, the owner.  He said he could probably correct the problem with minimal time and effort; he volunteered to come over and do this free of charge!
That's exactly what he did this afternoon, and our water pressure is now restored.

I am always thrilled to come across a company which puts long-term customer relationships over short term financial gain.  All our future plumbing business will, of course, go to CJ Plumbing.

I had a really bad kitchen sink clog that I tried snaking it myself with no luck.  Was referred to Mike, called and left a message, and had a return call within 30 minutes.  Mike juggled his schedule to come by same day and had my problem fixed in short order.  Highly recommend calling Mike when you have a need.

I had a leak in my water heater and put a request on Yelp for a plumber. Juan was the first to respond and gave me a quote over the phone. 30 minutes later, he was at my house doing a hands-on inspection. He came back the next morning with a new water heater. He noticed that some of the pipes attached to the old heater were out of code, so he replaced them at the original price he quoted over the phone, even though the job took much longer than expected.
he noticed a small gas leak coming out of the area where the gas shutoff valve was and he replaced that as well. There was an extra charge, but I was happy to pay it.
I was very impressed with Juan's responsiveness, professionalism and price. I feel like I got more than what was expected for a lot less than I expected to pay. I highly recommend A & Y Plumbing
