Best Concrete Contractors in United States
Nick and his amazing crew redid part of my large backyard and I am so thrilled with what they did! First of all, Nick came up with a great design idea. I knew that I wanted pavers and artificial turf and Nick gave me some great ideas that I would not have thought of on my own. He was patient with me and was respectful of my budget. I was able to host a large Easter lunch this past weekend because it was so functional and beautiful out there. I did also get other bids and did some research regarding pavers and turf. Nick does the job as it should be done - without compromising the integrity of the work. Yes, I did receive a lower bid however the other company told me that I didn't need to use certain materials and techniques which I learned (by researching it) that the potential for problems in the future were magnified without doing the job the right way in the beginning. I am confident that the job ScapeTech did will last a long time because they did it the correct way and with high quality materials. I am very happy with their professionalism and expertise. Thank you Nick and crew!

This place has everything you need to build an amazing backyard. We all had such a great time looking around. The staff is very knowledgeable about all sorts of things. The selection of vegetation is immense and almost overwhelming. All the plants inside looked happy and healthy. I'm not an experienced plant person but I was not overwhelmed because they were there to help.

I would not recommend you hire this contractor especially in the area of Masonry. In talking with Luis, business owner, at time of hire I specifically asked for 4 retaining walls. Luis assured me his team had Masonry experience and would provide professional quality workmanship. Luis and I were able to work together on my first concern (picture attached) I came home disheartened to find first run placement and mortar joints were not of quality workmanship. My second concern was I asked for PVC sleeves to be installed at time of wall build for a new dripper system to be placed by another contractor. The walls that had pipe placed were not usable and the wall in which the pipe was forgotten Luis team cut a square hole in first run (picture attached) which ruined the esthetics and completely unusable as PVC pipe is ran underground all of which I would expect a professional landscaper that does complete remodels to know. My third concern was vertical rebar was not placed at time of foundation pour. I called 2 contractors on this they both stated that ideally most contractors will place vertical rebar and tie to horizontal rebar at time of foundation pour for strength but technically you could install after pour. Contractors both stated vertical rebar would need to be drilled down properly and epoxied into footer, when I talked to Luis on this before he installed vertical rebar he disagreed with what the contractors told me he stated he hammers in and that is stronger. My fourth concern was Luis had poured fresh mortar late afternoon on February 20th, rain hit the valley hard starting that evening for a couple days at which time Luis did not call or come over to check on and/or cover walls. After this fourth concern as any homeowner would do I lost a little faith so I started educating myself on retaining walls. This led to some significant concerns on the foundational components of the walls Luis built which two experienced contractors came over and confirmed. Luis and I did not agree on foundational concerns and the importance of drainage, our only option was to part ways. I have since had to have the walls removed and redone. A proper footer and rebar are essential to a retaining walls strength and durability. My concerns were confirmed at time of removal inclusive of shallow trenches, round footers, horizontal rebar placed on bottom of footer, horizontal rebar placed on top of footer, and thin footers ranged from 2-4 inches each piece inconsistent. There are a handful of other items that in my opinion would fall under poor workmanship pertaining to the walls Luis and his team built all of which I have pictures and video to substantiate this review.

Completely dependable, willing to re-evaluate their initial resolution to correct a building poorly constructed (by a different company), A-1 Concrete created the needed remedy. My job was relatively small, but still they chose to address my problem thoughtfully with attention to the aesthetic side to the repair as well.

American Materials came out and poured two sections for me. Footer for the back yard and front driveway extension. Guy was awesome and worked with us in getting the truck in the back to pour. Was recommended by Rock Solid. Keep in mind this is a mix on site truck and not a ready to pour truck. I guess it makes a difference in consistency for the cement. Either way these fellas did a great job and my finisher nailed it. Thanks fellas.

Crash of Rhinos Painting is an outstanding company. Mike Rickert is honest, friendly and professional. Kim Rickert was very helpful in assisting us to choose the right color for the exterior of our home. She came out with several paint samples and was so patient while we mulled over the choices, eventually coming up with the right one. The crew- Lalo, J.J., Juan and Fernando- did an excellent job and completed the project in a timely manner. They were consistently courteous, skillful and friendly. Meticulous attention was paid to every detail along the way. I wholeheartedly recommend Crash of Rhinos without reservation.

Juan was fast to reply and came by at my convenience to provide a quote. The work was done quickly and within a few days my weed problem was gone. I've now hired Juan and Desert Sage to provide monthly services at my house. Great work!!

I have not used them personally but my experience with one of their drivers was uncomfortable
They apparently are doing a job here in our community in Buckeye.
Driving up Indian School in the middle of the day / this particular driver switched into my lane without signaling and very abruptly. Had I not of been paying attention and slammed on my breaks / he would have hit me. I hit the horn to get his attention / he started waving his arms around and gesturing at me. I was wondering what in the world made him get over like that. When I looked ahead about a 1/2 a mile the lane was ending but he had plenty of time without cutting me off.
As I passed him / he again gestured and was laughing while looking at me.
This is not a guy I would want representing my company so I wanted it out there. Bullying a woman alone in her car - not great

We recently had our backyard patio and basketball court acid stained and they did a fantastic job. The work done on our concrete looks amazing and we love it! The crew was immaculate too. They taped off the entire area where they worked so there was no overspray, and when the job was completed in just a few short days they left the yard spotless. We couldn't be happier with their customer service, the communication, and the results. We would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to have their concrete stained or finished.

I cannot say enough good things about Rick and Charlie from Arizona Foundation Works. They are both funny, honest and decent people, who are very skilled at what they do. They take a lot of pride in their work. Mine was not an easy repair - the crawlspace beneath my house ranged from about two and a half feet at the southeast corner, to zero at the northwest corner. It involved a lot of creative problem solving to figure out a solution. Rick is an excellent communicator. He listened to me to be sure he understood what I thought was needed, and then explained exactly what needed to be done to achieve those results. The cost was definitely reasonable. There is a small travel charge to come out and estimate projects outside of the Phoenix area, but it is deducted from the total charge if you go with Arizona Foundation Works to complete the job (and I cannot imagine why you would not). I am so grateful to them, and I recommend them highly.

George and his crew are professional, honest, and perform great work. George came out personally to give me the most accurate quote possible. They stuck to the timeline and exceeded my expectations!

We asked Valleywide to come out and give a quote for quite a bit of demo work in our back and front yards that included haul away, concrete demo, block demo. Initially, Ben was so friendly and promised quite of bit on behalf of his company. His initial consultation with us even gave hope that he could eventually help us do some extensive remodel to the back door/patio of our house and the back wall of our master bedroom. When it came time to estimate the project, Valleywide advised they were equipped to do not only our demo and haul away, but also construct a new block wall, lay a new cement slab and install new gates for us. We were so excited to have found an all-in-one company, so we scheduled our project as soon as they were free.
Once the project started, it was downhill from there. They first advised they'd be a day late, then days late, then over a week late. Once they began, the demo went okay aside from a cracked drip line that we repaired ourselves. The pivot from demo to construction was atrocious. We were told a mason was scheduled to come out to construct our block wall. They didn't show for a week. After some serious questioning from our neighbors and HOA, we pressured Valleywide to get back out ASAP, and they ultimately did show up the following Monday but without a mason. Ben and his partner, who didn't appear to be masons, spent the better part of three days trying to figure out how to properly align our wall. They laid slab over the footings and ultimately created an uneven base for their project. We don't love the end result, but the wall was finally finished after the mason arrived on Thursday that week. In short, it as a sloppy finish that we'll have to sand down before we paint.
Lastly, the real kicker for me is in the details. From the beginning of this project, our biggest concern was installing new gates that properly fit the fence openings, opened and closed with ease (unlike our last RV gate) and did not offer any openings big enough for our small dogs to fit through. Late Friday afternoon, the final day of the project, one guy was left on the job installing the gates. They were installed with a substantial opening at the bottom that our dogs could easily crawl under. The gentleman was nice enough to adjust the height at the end of his shift. When I opened and closed the RV gate, i realized they overlapped slightly and will not close without some force. Worse off, you have to throw your shoulder into the gate to get it to open. And as if that's not frustrating enough, they used the smallest screws to attach the composite slats to the frame that do not go all the way through the slat. In less than 2 weeks, most of those screws popped right off and are completely incapable of holding the fence slats together. When I asked Ben about the construction and size of the frame, his answer was that's as good as we can get it. We'll be in the market soon for a properly fitted gate to replace the complete waste of money this gate ended up being.
If it isn't clear by now. I would not recommend allowing this company to take your money and contract out some truly terrible work. Their demo quality (the namesake of their company) was fine. Do yourself a favor and put in the extra leg work to have other professional companies do the rest of the job.

If 6 stars was an option, I would give Advanced Concrete Lifting six stars! We had Charles come to lift our slab and fix numerous cracks throughout our house, and a very, very blown-out stem wall. He did an amazing job for a very reasonable price.
A few weeks later, we noticed some new cracks in a completely new area of the house, right before we were scheduled to have our new floors installed, and he came out last minute and spent the weekend fixing it so that it was taken care of before the installers came. That meant working on the weekend. Not only do we greatly appreciate that he came out to fix the issue, but he did so quickly, on the weekend, and did a fantastic job.
If you have any issues with your concrete, I highly recommend Advanced Concrete Lifting.

One of the best companies that have done work for me! They replaced my driveway because my old one would flood my house every time that we had a hard rain. They were quick to come out and draw up plans to show me how they were going to accomplish this. It turned out beautiful!! They were finished in a couple of days and cleaned up everything. i would not hesitate to hire them again. You will not be sorry if you hire them!!

James Belville came out and gave us a quote; we accepted the quote and scheduled a time with him. He says his crew will be onsite by 7AM on the scheduled date.
On the scheduled date, no one shows. I tried to call multiple times. His phone just goes to voicemail. I sent text messages. He doesn't answer the phone, does not respond to emails or to voicemails or to text messages. They just don't show.
DON'T WASTE YOUR VALUABLE TIME WITH THESE GUYS.
