HISTORY

Established in 1992.
ROCK SOLID was started by Craig and Diana Tanner in 1992 with the dream of building a Ready mix Concrete business to meet the needs of small and medium sized contractors in the Phoenix metropolitan area of Arizona. Today we have 75 Mixers and 5 Plants that serve the Greater Phoenix area and Pinal county. With approximately 100 employees, ROCK SOLID continues to serve the need for concrete to the small and medium sized concrete contractor in the Phoenix area. Integrity, Quality, On Time Delivery We still hold to our core beliefs of Integrity, Consistent Quality Product, and On Time Delivery. We are honest and up front with our customers, employees and suppliers, and admit when we make mistakes or are wrong. I have not used them personally but my experience with one of their drivers was uncomfortable

They apparently are doing a job here in our community in Buckeye.

Driving up Indian School in the middle of the day / this particular driver switched into my lane without signaling and very abruptly. Had I not of been paying attention and slammed on my breaks / he would have hit me. I hit the horn to get his attention / he started waving his arms around and gesturing at me. I was wondering what in the world made him get over like that. When I looked ahead about a 1/2 a mile the lane was ending but he had plenty of time without cutting me off.

As I passed him / he again gestured and was laughing while looking at me.

This is not a guy I would want representing my company so I wanted it out there. Bullying a woman alone in her car - not great

We had some concrete work done last week and our contractor used Rock Solid Concrete. The driver Vince showed up on time and was very professional and courteous.
Once everything got going, there was a new guy learning concrete and Vince was very outgoing in helping train the new guy and being bilingual was a plus since this played a vital role in helping train the new guy.
Vince also shared his knowledge with me, the home owner, on what was going on, the terms and signals that were being used, just general overall concrete tutoring basically.
Vince is not just typical driver fo xyz company, he legitimately cares that he is professional, outgoing, caring of the job at hand, and wants to make sure the job is done right and that the customer is well take care of.
Great job hiring Vince! He will be a great leader for your company.

I had the opportunity to work with Rock Solid QC Department as a student at Arizona State University. Staff was very supportive and donated many hours to my project. The QC manager was always available for questions and advisement.
