Best Electricians in San Jose, CA
Arrived on time, did the work, left it cleaner than when they started.
Quality work and quality parts. They even added a few extras that will help me out later - that I didn't even hint or suggest. Can't ask for more.

We've had a number of electrical issues that have been piling up in our home. In the middle of the day, I decided to try and get some quotes. I saw Jason's company on Yelp and the great reviews. He immediately answered my call to request a quote. He was extremely busy but took the time to listen to my list of repairs and outline the estimate over the phone. Amazingly, he was also able to squeeze me in that day! He mentioned that he'd take care of as many things as he could before his next appointment. He got me out of the dog house with my wife by taking care of the most important repairs and I'm ready to schedule getting the other items done. I would highly recommend Jason and Wolfe Electric for his good work and professional demeanor. Thanks Jason!

Not one bad thing to say about this company! After we ordered our Tesla Model Y, one of the first things we did was inquire about getting a NEMA 14-50 outlet installed in our garage. This company was on the Tesla website and I definitely wanted the work to be permitted so we went with them.
Response time to our initial inquiry and questions was fast and very professional. We were able to get something scheduled within days of our first contact with the company. Today, the crew came within the earlier side of the arrival window, were so nice and helpful in explaining my options for outlet locations and making sure the outcome works for our intended charging situation. They finished the work quickly and other then the addition of the new equipment, the garage looked untouched as if they'd never been there. The other thing I appreciated was the thoughtfulness they have towards their customers in providing a hook to wrap the charge cord as well as the NEMA adaptor if you need it. It does cost money but I like the fact that bundle of services is the perfect way to set yourself up for EV life.
I still need to have the city inspection but since they are handling the whole thing, I feel free as a bird! I have no worries about getting the city permit and I have my new NEMA to charge my Tesla so I'm ready to go whenever it arrives!

Tesla, EV owners read this!!!
Minh came by to install a NemA14-50 outlet for the Tesla Mobile Charger. He quoted me the lowest price from all the other electricians in the southbay with no BS. From the very beginning to end he knew everything about EV charging and where to install it properly. He does a very clean install and does it with great efficiency.
Throughout the project he communicates thoroughly. He will explain to you what he is going to do and why.
You can learn a lot from Minh.
He also labels the breakers, switches and outlets. Very professional!
Don't hesitate and give Minh a call with all your electrical needs.

I called California Power and Light over the weekend with an emergency situation, we had a breaker that was repeatedly tripping and we couldn't figure out why. It was urgent because my wife and I have 18 month old twins and their room just happened to be on this breaker, which meant no night light and no white noise machine for them, which means they had trouble sleeping and so did we! Henry came over personally on a Saturday to troubleshoot the situation, he was upfront on fees and charges and advised us to wait and see if it happened again, no pressure to spend money we didn't need to, no hard sell. He answered the call himself and came when he said he would, he left his card and asked us to call him if it happened again, which it did, the next day. So I texted Henry on a Sunday morning and he said he would have someone out to our house between 1-2 that afternoon. Sure enough, an electrician was here, prompt, courteous, and professional. He replaced two breakers for us and stayed to ensure everything was working. This company is prompt, friendly, local, they know their stuff and their rates are reasonable. I'm sure we'll have electrical needs in the future, we have an older home and it will need upgrades, California Power and Light will be at the top of my list to call. Henry is focused on quality and customer service and he answers the phone on off hours when most folks will send you to voicemail. Call him and give him your business if you need an electrician, you won't be disappointed!

Brayan from Electric Heroes installed a light fixture for us today. We were very pleased with our experience. It was easy to get a quote. Ana from Customer Service was friendly, and was responsive in answering our questions and setting up an appointment. Brayan called before arriving and did a good job on the installation. He was courteous and cleaned up after working. The price was as quoted, with no surprises. Everything went very smoothly. We would definitely work with Electric Heroes again.

Hired Dan to install an EV charger in my garage (240 volts 50 amp). He definitely knows his craft and did a clean, thorough job, all of it within a day, as promised. Also very reasonably priced compared to what Tesla installers would charge. 5 stars!

Jim is the man if you are looking for an honest, patient, helpful, and reasonable priced electrician.
I had a problem with 2 rooms of outlet with no power. After trying to locate the source of the problem and failed, I called Jim. He was on a remodeling job and was not available at the moment to come out. He offered to help by providing me instructions on diagnosing the problem over the phone. This way, I may be able to save on his service call fee. This was very nice, helpful, and I learned some troubleshooting techniques.
I end up not been able to find the problem after trying due to time and other factors.
After he was available, he gave me a time and was punctual and polite.
He quoted me before coming in and how long it would take for him to find and fix the problem. Jim was right on both estimates.
I also admire that he would put on booty over his shoe to protect the interior of the home.

I was scared to call an electrician to fix the wiring in our detached garage so I delayed calling someone for a couple years. We inherited a maze of wires when we bought this house and I could not figure out what was wrong. I finally called Fast Handy Electric and was asked to text my address. Next think I know, they texted that they will show up in 20-25 minutes! Edwin arrived and made the scary process I had in my mind so easy and helpful. You can feel the passion he has for what he does and helping people and making sure everything is safe. He was like an electrical surgeon troubleshooting the issue and fixing it quickly. I can not tell you how happy I am to have found Edwin and Fast Handy Electric! I am so happy and have a peace of mind now that our garage is up and running again! I will definitely reach out again when needed!

I'm very happy with the work they did.
I was trying to get the outlets done over the weekend and they could accommodate me in a short notice.
David and his assistant came on time, gave me an estimate that was reasonable. I have had extra work that needed to happen and they could do it on the same day.
The work was immaculate. All the gluing and taping the wire connections were perfect.
I had some issues with a pipe that went through the line. David explained how we can reduce the work by not going around it, even though it was gonna reduce his cost.
I am really happy about the work and I would hire him again in a heartbeat

I had a really bad experience today. The technician tried to take advantage of me by asking for $500 for a simple fix without a receipt. And he did not fix the leak - I checked on 5/17 and there is quite a bit of leaking now (check the attached picture). At all, stay away from this company/technician.
Here is the story:
My AC had a leak. It did not blow cold air. I found Fuse because it has a great Yelp review score. I thought I could trust this company.
The technician (Chirill Z.) came around 6:00pm as scheduled. He tightened/glued a few places and added a few pounds of Freon. At the end, he did not even bother to use the tool to check if the leak is fixed. And he asked me for $500 bucks without a receipt !!!
There were a few things wrong here - at the beginning, he was not transparent - he did not reveal the price for the work and just did it without asking. Second, he said there was no receipt he would give to me. Basically he did not want to give me any evidence! Third, he said he did not charge by hourly rate. He charged people by the work!
A few thoughts:
1. the technician is dishonest and unprofessional. He took advantage of people when he thought he could. It was not likely the first time he did so. I am curious why Fuse is still using this technician.
2. He has poor skills and did not work in a professional way either. He took off screws from my furnace but did not put them back on (There are three not put back!). And he accidentally added excess Freon in my AC. The AC's sub cooling is expected to be 11. And he made it to 15.8. And he did not bother to take them out. I searched the internet. In AC, it is not higher the better. The high number reduces the AC's performance.
3. He did not do diagnosis proactively and throughly. He only checked the valves outdoors and believed they were the cause, and claimed the fix. I had to ask him to check the indoor connection with Furnace. There was a leak there too. Mostly, he did not double check if there is a still a leak after the fix -- it turned out that he did not fix the problem at all.
Ending: I refused his ask. First, I knew the price range -- My AC had the leaking problem last year and another company did the same thing and charged much less for the work. Second, I need a receipt to know how I was charged. Third, I heard that Fuse has a warranty. Without a receipt there is no proof to get the warranty, in case something went wrong. I called Fuse. The manager waived the service fee for me. Thanks to the manager.
I think it is worth to write down the experience so that people can expect what could happen and know what to do if it happens again to you, even for a 5-star yelp company.

The last electrician we called out to install a socket showed up three hours late, doubled his estimate, and walked out the door without doing a thing. We called Velo and Carlos came out on time, did a very professional job, cleaned up any dust from drilling, and beat the prior estimate too! We couldn't be happier. Thank you!!

Mike and Anthony represent the best of service and--true to their name--courtesy with electricians.
I had several small tasks lined up that needed their help, counsel, and expertise to do for our house. A new chandelier needed to be hung in an offset position from the original. A faulty GFCI circuit needed to be troubleshot (I replaced the GFCI myself earlier, but the problem still existed). An 240V NEMA 14-50 outlet needed to be installed in our garage.
Mike answered my request for estimate the same day from when I sent it out via Yelp. He scheduled the following Monday to come out and do an assessment. 2 days later, I had a reasonable estimate in my email inbox.
He was patient as manufacturing and shipping delays delayed our lighting fixture arrival for months. Once it arrived, we worked out a scheduled date for him and Anthony to come back out to do the job.
While they were here onsite, they quickly went to work to work on each task. Dividing and conquering when appropriate, and collaborating when they needed to problem solve. During the time they were here, they were friendly, courteous, and collaborative.
With the chandelier, the short offset create a challenge of how to run the wiring and the hanging ceiling mount points. I had an idea of running a low profile raceway, but Mike--really wanting to provide an aesthetically pleasing and tidy solution, went through the trouble of fishing the short run and establishing a new tidy mount point for the fixture cap.
For the 240V outlet, he worked with me to recommend a good position for the EV charger, ran a tidy flex conduit line from the panel to the outlet, positioning the charger in an optimal location (better than what I originally had in mind).
Both Mike and Anthony really went the extra mile to look after us by problem solving more creatively than what we had expected. They are tidy and fastidious with their work and keeping the work area clean as they progressed.
I couldn't ask for more from an electrician team. Both these guys at Courtesy Electric are my only go-to electricians for electrical work in our home from now on.
Thanks, Mike and Anthony!
