Best Electricians in San Jose, CA
Completely professional, efficient and competent. I contacted Voltz after not receiving any response from some other yelp electricians and Voltz sent James out for an estimate in just a few days. He listened to what I wanted to do and also provided necessary input to help me visualize what sort of finished product they would produce. I wanted to install outdoor light to 3 different locations (2 in front, 1 on side yard) and the estimate I received seemed reasonable in price. I got an email later that day with an official estimate and scheduled the work for 2 weeks out (business must be good). On the day of the installation, both installers arrived exactly at the time of the appointment and after a quick review, they started immediately. The work took less than a day and when they were done, everything looked and worked perfect. I could not be happier with the install or the customer service. I recommend Voltz and will use them again when I have another project.

Thumbs up to Jason! He's responsive to calls, messages, was punctual, and came out on a Saturday evening. He arrived, had a hunch of where the issue was, looked around, fixed the lost of power to a part of our house within an hour. Very friendly, professional, and respectful gentleman. I definitely recommend Jason, Wolfe Electric for your electric needs. Will be contacting Jason again when we have any issues.

Had these guys instal a Level 2 charger in my garage. The quote process was detailed and very competitive. Because of my specific setup, they installed a dedicated sub panel in my garage and routed everything cleanly to a nice tucked in spot for my Tesla mobile connector. The guys worked cleanly, patched any dry wall, and were prompt and efficient. There was some weirdness I noticed when they left- my sub panel door latch actually would hit the reset button when closed- but the guys came out during the inspection and quickly adjusted it for me. Really great service and I couldn't be happier having the ability to add 25 miles an hour of range at home!!!

Minh help me installed NEMA 14-50 outlet for my Tesla at my garage. He is very professional and the work was done very nicely.

Absolute power is the real deal, they are bonded and insured electricians. During the rainy season moisture got into my main panel and caused an electrical fire. I reached out to Julio on Yelp and he was at my place in 30 minutes. There was not much that could be done with my old panel, but he was able to restore temporary power. Julio was able to save me a ton of money by guiding me through the whole permit process (which is an experience to say the least). Due to the weather, PG&E cancelled on me six times, Julio was very accommodating and was able to reschedule. Several of the times they were already on site and started working. Heck Julio even clean my gutters well he was on the roof well we were waiting on PG&E. Finally after multiple rescheduleung due to PG&E I was finally able to get my new panel installed. Absolute power did such a great job the San Jose city inspector was impressed with how clean, proper and above code the installation was.
TLDR: if you are looking for an honest electrical contractor with fair pricing and quality insured work go with absolute power.

Wow, after over a month of stumbling in the dark trying to raid the fridge for midnight snacks and suffering over non-stir fried dinners (my husband refused to make his signature chef dishes without a proper stove exhaust fan), Roger came over this afternoon and quickly identified the faulty wiring that was making my life miserable. Instant light and happiness! Roger is personable, his rates are reasonable, and he definitely knows his electrical stuff. I would recommend him 110 percent!

We hired Duke Electric to fix a wiring problem in our master bathroom. They very quickly identified the issue, and came up with a short term solution. They were able to come back out and put in place a permeant fix. Not only did they do a fantastic job with the wiring, but he also coordinated the repair work (sheet rock/painting). We then hired Duke to replace our main electrical panel. They showed up on time, completed the work, and were on top of dealing with the city for the permits. I would 100% use Duke Electric again next time we need such work!

California power & light was recommended to us when we had our gas fireplace installed. At the time, he not only installed the fireplace but put in two new lights for us to complete the job. More recently, when our kitchen lights (installed by previous home owner) started going out one by one, I called the fireplace company to get Henry's number! He was able to have a technician out and worked with him to replace our old lights and all the old housing, all in the same day. Super quick, super responsive, super friendly and trust worthy. All around great guys and company--would highly recommend them for your electrical & lighting needs.

Nadav is amazing.
I recently put some heavy machinery in my garage (lathe, CNC mill). Getting industrial electrical in a residence has been not entirely straightforward.
There were two decent electricians in the area, one with a high yelp review the other recommended by a contractor I use. However it was always a PITA to get ahold of them. Either they wouldn't return phone calls, or there would be promises they could be out in a couple of weeks. (And I'm not a difficult customer! I paid cash the second the job was completed: no run around, no argument about price, no bounced checks or CC fees.)
I got fed up and called Nadev after seeing yelp reviews. First time he was out the next morning and lowered his rate b/c there was difficulty getting one machine working (not his fault). The next week when my CNC mill wouldn't power up he came over the next day, fixed it (despite never seeing its internals before) and rewired the 3 phase power so my lathe would not run backwards. He charged $50!!! Unbelieveble. I would use him for anything w/o hesitation. High quality work and no bullshit.
In the past I'd work around or ignore any electrical problems I was having; now I'm actually looking for additional things I can have fixed on the house since he does such good work.

Electrica provided excellent service. Nick came on a Sunday and installed everything (240V NEMA 14-50 outlet) quickly and cleaned up after (I've had contractors who left me with a huge mess to clean up afterwards).
I definitely plan to use them again for future electrical needs.

We were extremely pleased with the entire process working with Dan Matthews Electric. From first contact to completion Dan is a consummate professional. We needed to replace light fixtures in our family room and entryway and have a new light installed in our dining room. Dan and his son took great care to minimize the dust and debris when working through the sheetrock and creating a new mounting fixture and modifying the existing switch outlet. The entryway light needed to be relocated which required the installation of a new support bar for the heavier new light. While installing the new light switch Dan discovered that the dimmer function for our kitchen lights was wired incorrectly. He quickly fixed that problem as well despite not being within the original scope of the quote. The finished job looks amazing, the price was fair, and we will definitely be contacting Dan for any future electrical work we encounter.

I will always go with Jum for all my electrical needs. Finding a good, honest electrical guy is almost as important as finding an honest plumber.
Needed an electrical problem solved so got a bunch of quotes on Yelp. There are the whole slew of players...The non responsive guy, High end expensive guy, the shady guy that will do it without a permit and the worst...the guy that lured you in with a free evaluation then throws down a huge bill.
I remembered talking to Jim and he provided a fair quote and was no bs. It was a these are the services I provide and this is how much I cost. If you want cheap and I permitted, I'm not your guy but in a very professional and nice manner.
He was booked out a week, but i always remembered that conversation. Especially when I got the guy that gave me the free evaluation but wasn't really free.
Fast forward a few weeks and I needed my main panel upgraded. Jim was one of the first guys I called. A lot of guys that will upgrade your panel, but Jim quoted me a very reasonable rate but with all the permits and things done the right way. He delivered. Showed up on time, took care of all logistics with PGE/city. Did the install in a day with his assistant.
He did a fantastic job.
We ended up having another electrical issue a few weeks later and Jim was the first person I called. Instead of coming out and fixing the issue, he talked us through the easy fix and didn't even charge us.
If you want an electrician who knows his stuff, is honest and will actually be the guy that shows up at your door to fix your issue, Jim is your man.

Edwin and his team offer a truly 5 star service. They helped set up our home network, with a combination of fiber, copper cabling, and 3 point WiFi, in record time. They also coordinated the trenching needed to pass new conduits and re-wired the garage.
All of this with permits. Highly recommend.

I had a very good experience with Fuse. Our furnace stopped running, granted we had already diagnosed the problem. We were able to schedule a repair. Our technician Chirill was very professional and knowledgeable. He did the repair quickly and efficiently. We were happy with the repair and the price. We were glad they were available to help.

Caio came by to install an outdoor cam/floodlight and also ran a conduit into the garage for power. He was super easy to work with, very responsive and reasonably priced. I'm not an electrical expert, but as far I as I can tell, the work looks clean and he cleaned up after himself when complete. Highly recommended, would definitely hire again. Thanks again Caio!

Jack was the only person on Yelp, who agreed to get me out of trouble with a mess another contractor created. Hepled fix all the issues (basically redid project completely) and worked with San Jose Permit office to get everything properly inspected. Super fast in communication, always notified me upfront about next steps. We'd be lost without him. Highly recommend!

Carlos was very professional and pleasant to work with. He arrived right on time, was very knowledgeable, and completed the job efficiently and flawlessly. I highly recommend Velo Electric and will definitely use him in the future.

Mike was awesome. Recent storm caused my breaker to keep popping. They sent Mike out and he got it all sorted out. Could have taken me for a ride, but the guy was honest and fair.
