Hormoz and Edwin from GES did an amazing job for us at our Bakery shop. I went on Yelp and submitted my request for a quote to change our existing kitchen lighting to LED. They contacted me right away and offered to come onsite during our business off hours so that they don't impact our kitchen's operation. After giving me full details of the job and explaining everything A to Z, they sent me the quote same day and offered to start the job next day. They did not only performed an amazing job but also a clean job.  There was no trash left behind and we were able to enjoy new lighting next day. We absolutely recommend GES. My townhouse was built in the 80's.  Over the past 17yrs I've had several shorts occur (a receptacle melted, a switch burned up and a wirenut melted)  The breakers never tripped.  I assume it was faulty receptacles,  switches or connections in gang box in the wall.  I had another short a few days ago and and could not locate it myself.  I called a electrician I knew (who does commercial) and was referred to David Electric.  I called left a message and Albert called me back quickly.  He came out the next day he was on time and ready to work.  As soon as he opened the door on my breaker panel, he told me it was a major fire hazard and needed to be replaced.  The panel was known to not trip a breaker when it should and thus wires in the house get hotter and hotter in an overload situation until there is a failure - just like I had multiples times in the past.  I later looked up the details on the panel (Zinsco GTE-Sylvania) and found many reputable sources and news articles indicating the breaker panel had been recalled/pulled from market in 1984 (4 years after my home was built) and was a major fire hazard.  Albert quoted me $1500 to replace the panel with my choice of Siemens or GE panels labor, parts, and tax all-in. (I looked up pricing and in the Silicon Valley that is a fair price.) Permit was all set. He even offered to do the online application for the permit. He then proceeded to find where the short was and gave me a very good quote for that too.  He spent 2 hours searching and troubleshooting, including working in the attic.  The repair took another hour in the attic and about 30 mins rewiring two sets of switches in the primary bedroom. (troubleshooting, new wire, materials and repair $380)   He noted I had a freezer in the garage and offered to put a new dedicated circuit GFCI receptacle in for that which would reduce future break trips as my garage and primary bedroom were all (unfortunately) on one circuit and thus spread the load out. (new receptacle location parts and labor $160).  

David was friendly and very respectful of my home.  He was neat and clean, cleaning up after himself.  He communicated with me and answered my questions.  I did ask for an estimate and he gave me numbers via text message which was fine.  He did give me detailed written invoices.  He communicated via text message quickly and clearly. His pricing is very fair based on what I saw in the marketplace and I have no doubts that his work was to code and done very well and professionally.   He's a nice guy and just wants to do a good job.  I would absolutely call Albert and David Electric back if I need any further electrical work.   I'm so happy with his work, I'll be recommending him to my Homeowners Association as we have 10 other townhouses with the same dangerous breaker panels.

I want to start by thanking Mike for his upmost professionalism during this process. When I started vetting contractors for our job (recessed lighting) I was met with some push back from other contractors and also some downright rudeness. Mike took the time out of his busy schedule to come look at the project and give me a fair quote on the job. Him and his team came over and worked though some tough situations due to the way our home was built, 1977 build. He explained everything along the way and kept me in the loop before he did anything extra. My wife and I are extremely please with the job done, and would recommend this crew to anyone. Mike did a majority good work, and replied fast in the beginning, the reason to give 3 stars is because he didn't send me a final invoice after the job has finished for ~2 months and after many times reminders.  Still waiting..

If I could give them more than 5 stars I would. I needed an EV charger installed immediately. The owner, James responded so quick to my yelp request and offered to come to my house that evening to give me an estimate. I asked how soon he could install since I was in a panic since my car came in way sooner than I anticipated. He had a big job he was doing the next day but offered to have his employee come out at 6 am then next day. WOW! It's not like my job was a huge one but for him to offer this made me so appreciative. His employee showed up right on time (can't say that's ever happened before) he was professional and did an amazing job. Very clean and finished earlier than estimated. I had a bad outlet inside the house that he even fixed on the spot.

I can't say enough great things about JCM electric. I 100% recommend them for all your electrical jobs.

I contacted Gary after finding him on Yelp and he gave me a competitive quote for replacing a water damaged Amazon Ring light fixture. He arrived on time and installed a new weatherproof junction box and added sealant to prevent rainwater leakage. He also helped adjust the camera and lights so the driveway would be properly monitored and illuminated.

We  had a small electrical issue, one call  to Richard,  problem solved. he was very through, efficient, I wish I could give 5 stars in this case. Professional, cost was better than expected. I will  use Richard in the near future, with upcoming projects.

A+ service all around!  We needed to install a 240V outlet in our garage for a Level 2 EV charger.  Dmitry was prompt in all aspects -- from replying and coming out to discuss alternatives and give us an estimate, to scheduling the actual installation.  He gave us his recommendation and explained why.  Before he left, he even fixed a couple of small electric switch problems in our house!  The estimate broke each component down, it was very complete (which I appreciate).  The installation went smoothly, he even found a better route for the overhead conduit from the panel to the charger.

I will defiinitely call Arsen Electric for future electrical needs!

Over the last couple of years Mickey has done a few jobs at my house. He is an outstanding electrician as well as his customer service attitude is exemplary. He did the electrical for an outdoor island that was installed in my backyard. Work very high quality, can do attitude and very fair pricing. From then onwards he is my go to guy for all electrical jobs.

Hewlett Electric absolutely deserves five stars.  I had concerns about
my house, built in the early 60s, having some old wires that could cause fire hazards.  Meigs thoroughly and selflessly explained to me why I should not be so worried.  He told me the only thing I need to watch for is overusage of our space heaters, which are common culprits of house fires.  He spent about 15 min with me on the phone giving excellent advise, knowing that he was not even making any money off me.  That is what I call honesty and integrity.  If needs ever arise for any kind of electrical work, I am definitely calling Meigs of Hewlett Electric.

Highly recommend Raphael from Electricians on Duty. He helped us install a EV wall charger in August 2022. Raphael was really professional and prompt with communications. It was good experience with CA electrical company, my electrical panel created some problem, I didn't waste my time because I have heard a lot about CA electrical Group on social media so I called them, they came within the given time slot and sort out my problem
There prices were super fair and reasonable and even gave better pricing for bulk work. They showed up on time and got everything done in a clean and professional manner.

After browsing a long list of Tesla charger installers, I ultimately chose Fruitdale Electric. Within days of my initial contact, they visited my home and provided a quote, which was much faster than I expected.

On installation day, their technicians arrived promptly. They installed a Tesla gen 3 charger, surge protection, and ran electrical wiring through my attic to the opposite side of the house. Despite the terrible weather at the time, they delivered flawless work.

The location of the charger was a challenge due to the tight space, and I had anticipated conduit running outside of my house. However, they exceeded my expectations and executed an incredibly clean installation with no visible wires or conduits, leaving just a Tesla charger on the wall exactly where I wanted it. Most importantly, my car now charges at a rate of over 40mph, a significant improvement from the previous rate of 4mph.

Jamil and his crew are outstanding. He knows his stuff, honest and forthright and does a thorough job. I engaged him a few times, once to fix some sagging doors and the second time to put up some industrial racks at my garage.
