Best Electricians in San Jose, CA
I have had to call in an electrician twice since we bought this 26 year old construction house. The first time we had a short in one of the BRs and we found someone from Cragis List to do the work, but what ever he did only lasted 3 weeks before the same problem appeared again. We gave the guy a second shot, but when that circuit went out a few months for the third time, we called Cross Electrical.
They gave us a fair estimate and did the job RIGHT! We have not had any problems with that circuit since.
Another time the tube lights in the garage were out and I checked all the circuit breakers, finally called Cross again. They came over promptly and in two minutes he discovered that one of the GPC outlets had tripped and set it right with a push of a button. Duhhh!!
I offered to pay something but Doug said don't worrry about it. Guess who I am calling when I have an electrical problem or upgrade that needs to be done??

Gomez electric was very fast to respond to all of our questions and were able to slip us into their schedule sooner than we had hoped. The work was done quickly and efficiently, and it looks great! We just had a small job with installing some extra outlets for Christmas lights And they made it look like it was original construction!

I have an odd-shaped, loft-style condo with super high ceilings that presented many lighting challenges. Dave did an outstanding job designing and installing a monorail light system. He basically had to spend 3+ days on a 20-foot ladder and get the monorail lights to line up correctly in a living space that looks rectangular but is actually slightly curved and wider at one end than the other. I know that getting it correct was a major headache. Nevertheless, he was very professional and on budget. I was very happy with his service and love my new lights and ceiling fan.

Bob did a great job with fixing our 3 hallway lights and patio light. The hallway lights had never worked since we moved in, and there was no current flowing to them. Bob figured out where the switches were, and that the previous owners had put a blank wall plate over the switches in a botched remodeling project. It was a complex problem, and we are really glad we hired Bob. He clearly knew what to investigate and was very thorough. The simpler problem of our patio light only took a few minutes for him to fix. Bob is clearly an expert electrician, and if we have any more problems we are definitely calling him. He is reliable and responsive via text.

Cale by in the evening and performed the installation which took a couple hours. Clean installation process from start to end. He knows his stuff and will definitely recommend him.

Alpine Mountain Electric were recommended for replacement of an electrical panel. They did an excellent job and as an extra bonus --when I beagle got loose and ran into the woods, one of their staff took off and caught him. Highly recommend Brian and his team.

Rick and Chris were EXCELLENT! We had a short circuit in our house, and I had troubleshot it as far as I was capable. Rick and Chris came in and listened to my explanation of the problem, what we were doing at the time, then dove in and started troubleshooting! They were far more thorough than I was, including going into the attic crawl space looking for signs of burned wiring. They were able to trace the problem down to a wire that I had excused as ok, with better technology. Testing and repair and we are back in business, for less than I originally thought it would cost us!
I highly recommend B & B Electric!

Mr. Bene is a wonderful, wonderful man.
I had an issue on Thanksgiving Day where my panel was destroyed over a tree root entangling the PG&E live wire, and PG&E was forced to shut my power off. The initial electrician I contacted unfortunately ghosted me after a week in a half.
Still homeless, I reached out to Mr. Bene.
One thing I was impressed with Mr. Bene was that he KNEW the problem right away just by looking at the pictures and could even IDENTIFY the brand of the panel. He was very truthful and honest and even came the next day to look in person free of charge.
But one thing I appreciated is how Mr. Bene went out to bat for me. He constantly communicated with PG&E for me and navigated through their bureaucracy and advocated that I was without power for nearly five weeks (at that point). He has contacts with the city and was able to get the permitting done just like that. The day he came to actually replace the panel he was considerate, wearing masks and feet covers, and finished extremely quickly. I expected a full day; he was done in only two hours. All while cracking jokes and making me feel less alone in a miserable situation.
Mr. Bene takes care of everyone, especially those who live in Pleasanton. Reach out to him first. He is simply the best. His prices are reasonable and he cares for those who get the raw end of the stick. He is very responsive via email, cell or on the phone. I've recommended him to every single one of my neighbors, and those who met him while he was working on my panel asked for his business card because he is someone we all know we can trust.
You wont' regret using his services.

We hired this company 2 weeks ago to fix a breaker that tripped and wouldn't reset. As a result the entire south side walls of our condo did not have electricity. The consult happened without incident and we were advised the electrical panel in our 2,001 square foot condo needed to be replaced at a cost of $750. The two electricians completed the job in about 3 hours and the repair seemed to work fine until a few days later.
We discovered the electric heater wall baseboards throughout our condo would not turn on. We called the company with the complaint and they came out to fix it. Only problem was they could not figure out what the issue was and left without repairing it and without suggesting an alternative. It was clear to us their repair caused the problem since our heaters worked before they replaced the electrical panel.
We found another electrician referred to us by family and he quickly assessed the issue. Apparently the original company did not set the wattage high enough for the electric heater wall baseboards and that's why they were not functioning properly. This electrician also advised the company cut too large of a hole in the wall to install the new breaker box and they inserted the new breaker box too far into the wall. The nose electrician was repositioned the breaker box correctly and was nice enough to add more sheet rock around the breaker box to fill the holes the previous electricians left.
While we try very hard to support small and local businesses, we are quite disappointed with the service from Anthony Electric. More knowledge of electrical work appears in order for their electricians and a better customer service guarantee for the work should be the standard. Simply stating they don't know what the problem is and leaving us to resolve it is unacceptable. Unfortunately we don't recommend using this company based on our experience.

We needed to relocate an electrical panel before our insurance would approve us. Francisco and his team were very responsive, friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. And the work they did looked great. Highly recommend AOE.

Esed came off a bit rough around the edges in the beginning of our first phone conversation, but by the end, he was friendly and informative. He was the only electrician to come up with an out-of-the-box idea to convert my unique garage wiring into a viable NEMA 14-50 outlet. Other electricians were looking to charge 3K+ and Esed was able to do the work for 1K. His creativeness and integrity were much appreciated.

I called Gus the other night with a questoin about an electrical problem I was having at my house. He spent 20 minutes with me on the phone to help me trouble shoot the problem and could not have been nicer about it. He later called me to share some additional information he obtained about my situation from talking with one of his friends in the trade.

No wonder this business has excellent reviews!! Eugene deserves it 100%! Amazing in every aspect - extremely polite, very thorough, honest, great professional. He came out on a Sunday a few hours after i called, already had the parts with him. Completed everything quickly and efficiently, explained everything, didn't rush, answered all our questions about other repairs that are needed or soon will be needed for the house. He even asked how is our roof? Tried to save us money by offering the necessary repairs sooner in order to save a lot of money and a headache later.
Very calm, thoughtful, professional and pleasant person!
We highly recommend him!
