Best Electricians in San Jose, CA

My wife and I just recently bought an original home in the peninsula, half the house was old knob and tubing and the rest romex. I wanted to make sure my house was safe with the current electrical and also add some recessed lighting to a couple of the rooms, so I called a few electricians for bids. Bart by far was the most thorough in his inspection and emphasized safety and was reasonably priced, thats why we went with him.

The day of work, Bart and Carlos showed up early and was done by the afternoon! The lights looked amazing in the living and family room, especially at night with dimmers. On full blast the place lit up brilliantly.

The thing about Bart was that he saw some funky wiring through out the house, and fixed it without a second thought or increasing his price. On top of that we asked him to do a few extra things, which he had no hesitation to do for a good price.

Overall, a fantastic electrician who does beautiful work with emphasis on safety. Gladly hire for any electrical work.

I needed an ATS panel to be disconnected from the main panel. Juan quote was reasonable and he sent his team member who showed up promptly. The job was done to my satisfaction and he cleaned up the site after his work. I would definitely recommend Brother Electric.

Norman did a great job, patching 20+ holes, and several medium sized patches in orange peel (textured) drywall, fixed doors that previously wouldn't close, took out phone jacks and patched hardwood. He did everything to meet our high standards. He was polite, good communicator, and did his work for a fair price. We'll be sure to call him back for future jobs!

Just had Mikhail from Fuse over to take a look at replacing an exhaust fan in our bathroom. He was incredibly courteous and gave me tips on how I might be able to do this on my own. He was gracious enough to take a look at a light fixture in our kitchen and was able to quickly fix an issue that was causing the light to get disconnected.

Would absolutely recommend Mikhail and the entire Fuse HVAC & Electrical team for any home repair or home improvement project.

Contacted them on Yelp, scheduled an appointment, came on the day schedule (without me needing to call them), they proactively called when their technician was delayed from earlier job, completed the task and automatically sent me the invoice.    Would use their services again in the future.

Tom and Julian were awesome.  We had to get a whole new service panel installed, as well as some fans and light switches, and a few other things around the house.  We called up O'Connor and Sons electric and now everything is done!  We are very happy with the work!  Not only are they very knowledgable they are also very down to earth, respectful, fair and honest.  We had a great experience dealing with them and will be calling them in the near future for additional work.

Bottom line... If you need any electrical work done you would be smart to give them a call!  They won't let you down!

Had 3 dimmer switches that failed. These guys came out the first day after the request, did a diagnosis, and installed replacements (non dimmer switches).

They even included a warranty. Overall would call again for any electrical work needed.

This is the second time we've contracted RB Handyman.  The first was for a bathroom remodel (review under Amy M.), and this time to repair a leaking copper line after we noticed that our drywall was bulging with water.

RB quickly opened a work order and sent Jason to find and fix the issue the same day.  Jason found two issues, a leaking valve connected to our refrigerator and a second leak in a copper pipe on the opposite side of the wall.

Jason was professional, thorough, and demonstrated real skill in both the repairs and the finishing work.  As with our previous experience with RB, Jason also did a fantastic job of protecting our home and cleaning up after each visit.  He was also generous in explaining everything to us.

I called AMZ electric for an estimate, he was very responsive and immediately scheduled one. His price was very reasonable. But due to an unforeseen situation I need to cancel the work, and he was very understanding and handled the situation very professionally. Will definitely reach out to him for any future works.

Unexpectedly lost power to part of our upstairs area with lights dimming and outlets not working.  Contacted Mark and he came out the next business day.  Within a couple of hours, he identified and fixed the issue. Reasonable price, great communication, and excellent service. Definitely recommend and will refer him to my real estate clients.

I was stuck doing a Do It Yourself job on Saturday when the parts I needed weren't available at the Big Box.  
After I called, Jacky stated he could come by that evening, which he did and discussed my issue.  He willingly gave me parts I needed and lots of advice.  While he didn't do work for me, if I needed a job done I would certainly consider hiring him.  Very nice man and willing to share his experience and parts.
