Best Electricians in San Jose, CA
I had Dave Stallings, Stalling Electric, and crew do some electrical work for me an electrical generator and circuit for central air conditioning. Dave and crew are reliable, respectful and do the work they agreed to for the price they quoted. Excellent customer service. I will hire them again.

We used Darius Kraus Electric for three different jobs: to redo our knob & tube wiring in our 100+ year-old house; to investigate a shorted out light and to replace said shorted-out light (as well as our dining room light). All three jobs were done thoroughly and professionally with great attention to detail. I highly recommend Darius for jobs big and small. We'll be sure to use him again in the future.

I found Zack on Yelp. I was in the bay area remodeling my mother's condo. When the contractor finished, a few outlets didn't work and he suggested I call an electrician. This was Friday afternoon. With only a weekend before I had to leave, I contacted Zack. He came over on Saturday, assessed the problem quickly and accurately and did the job at a fair price. He really knows the business as he has been doing this since 1977. He was dependable and on time and is now my go to electrician.

Tony is just exactly what you hope to find someone who is good at their job, nice, carries the licencing and keen to do a good job. We had one electrical audit (required for insulation) and a faulty canned light which he came and resolved quickly. As others have mentioned, he is busy (this is a good thing remember) so leave a message if you can't get through right away.

Hormoz came over on the same day, which was tough to find. In short order, he and his partner found and repaired the short in an outlet that had tripped the circuit breaker. They were efficient, professional, polite, quick, and clean. Plus they came in $150 less than another quote I had received.
Would definitely recommend this business!

Fuse Electrical installed a Tesla wall connector for me. They were very professional, right from estimation to installation of the charger. Nick was very responsive about the quote. Slavic was knowledgeable, and he answered all my post-installation queries. I would recommend them.

The outlets in my bedroom (which would function only with a light switch) went out a few months ago and I put off calling an electrician. Then my garbage disposal stopped working so I put out a request for an electrician at 7:30pm - Ken was the first to respond (in under 20 mins) and was willing to come tonight. Ken was at my door in less than an hour from my first request. Originally, he left within 15 mins because we thought he fixed/addressed everything. But within a few mins the outlets stopped working. He then drove back to my house (after 9pm on a Monday) to finish the job. Ken was able to locate the problem outlet and even do a lil rewiring to ensure my outlets worked without the need of a light switch. In less than 3 hours Ken was able to confirm time slot, identify the issues, and fix them. I would recommend in a heart beat.

Lex and his team did a great job replacing our old lighting and installing recessed lighting throughout our entire house. Communication and follow through was seamless, he had valuable insight into every inquiry, and we're super happy with the quality of their work! Electrical work isn't something we would ever mess with and it's comforting to know that Lex is so extremely qualified. We will definitely be using ONE10 for all future needs and will refer him to our family and friends- they'll be in good hands.

Bay Valley Electric has been my 100% go to company for over 16 years. Not only have I had them install fairly extensive electrical work in my past 3 commercial/industrial business locations, I also have used them for work in my own home. I think it is amazing that they have jobs ranging from tech company server rooms to custom 12,000 square ft. Atherton homes to small industrial buildings. During the past 16 or so years, Bob at Bay Valley has been nothing but friendly, reliable, and fair. Their work is absolutely of the highest quality as they have fixed many issues caused by previous professional electricians. Bay Valley is not your over-night side work shop. They do things correctly the first time, and other contractors have even complimented Bay Valley's work as other professionals often notice the little things that we don't. On top of their great work, I appreciate the fact that Bay Valley's employees always do a perfect job cleaning up after the work is done. They show a lot of respect for my property and the areas where they are working which is a huge plus in my book as I absolutely hate writing checks for an invoice and then getting the mop and broom out to clean up after a contractor leaves. All the above is why they deserve 5 stars!!!!

Just had an excellent experience with Altap. Previous electrician had quoted us a price of $5,000. Altap came out and did the work for $170!!!!

I called on a Monday afternoon and Craig showed up before his other appointments the following morning. He methodically found the issue and corrected it while teaching me a few things about how to avoid the problem next time!
Thank you!!!

I'm really glad I decided to work with Geoff and Ronda at Williams Electric for my service panel upgrade. My old panel was too small for an anticipated solar upgrade and not up to code due to the proximity to our gas meter, lack of proper grounding, and a host of other problems. They scheduled a virtual walk-through (FaceTime) where I showed them my old panel and answered a few questions, and they were able to provide a competitive quote for the work needed.
Geoff did a fantastic job relocating the panel, properly grounding and securing it, and elegantly re-routing the conduit -- navigating the nearby chimney, trees, and internet service drop while avoiding any damage to our unique stained glass windows and antique brickwork nearby. It even looks better than it did before and is solid like a rock! In short, it was a hard job done properly.
Geoff was incredibly knowledgeable, polite, and patient with my questions throughout. Working with Ronda on scheduling was easy, communication was prompt, appointments were on time, and work was finished sooner than expected. Goeff was mindful to not leave us without power overnight or for too long a stretch, and avoided cutting power to our sump when there was rain. He and Ronda worked with PG&E and the City of Oakland to get our permit approved quickly, and waited patiently when the inspectors were late (and kind of rude too, but Geoff handled that professionally as well).
If I ever need more work done, I expect to call Williams Electric as a first stop. I actually already did, and Geoff was able to replace some old fluorescent fixtures with modern LED ones, install a ceiling fan in place of an old light, and upgrade some ungrounded outlets to GFCI (he had pointed a couple out as potential risks on the first visit) -- and tucked that all in quickly the same day as a planned visit. Thanks again Geoff and Ronda!

Responded to call within a day and were able to come within a few days. Communication was good and they arrived on time with a mask. Work was excellent and they went out of their way to make sure work was to my satisfaction.

I called Wright Electric when another electrician crapped out on me. After a cursory walk-through of my house by the first guy, he told me he couldn't give me an estimate of the cost for the project because you don't know what you're getting into until you start working on old wiring. After weeks of delays and non-communication I finally gave up on this guy.
What a pleasant surprise it was to deal with Kody Wright after such a horrible experience with the first electrician. Kody conducted a thorough inspection of my home, and talked to me in great detail about what I wanted to accomplish. After a couple of days he provided me today with a detailed estimate of the time and cost of the project. Kody and his assistant, Adam, worked diligently to complete the work on my home. They were courteous, flexible to my desire for minor changes in the plan, and were very professional. They finished the job early and came in on budget. They returned about a week later to test all the circuits and label my panel so that it will be easy for us to identify specific circuits and what they control.

Use this place only in emergencies.
Scheduling an appointment was easy. The plumbers and the phone/dispatch were all professionals. The giant flaw with this particular experience was with their diagnostics and pricing.
Check out the attached photo; it's a screen shot of part of their invoice/work order. That's a Moen faucet which retails at Home Depot for $143. Check out the pricing that Bellows gave me: $829 (this includes install). I said nope. So they said they could back out $500 if I provided my own faucet. Again, I said nope that and I got a second opinion. Apparently I didn't need all this work done, and all that was needed was some tightening of some valves - W T F bellows!?
These plumbers poorly diagnosed my leaky faucet and tried to gouge me. I've used them before and they gouged me then too. Plumbing gougefest.
There seems to be some sort of racket and/or price fixing; Roto-Rooter Plumbing are a bunch of crooks as well. They charged me $500 to unclog a kitchen sink.
Regular people don't know enough about plumbing to ask questions. When you have a leak or your water isn't running, you become desperate and you stop asking questions and getting second opinions (I get it) - these plumbers have become accustomed to this and now they are brazen AF. Let's get the power back - ask questions, pick apart their arbitrary work order. . . or don't - who cares.

I e-mailed Sam at Hi-Tech AV to redo some wiring and correct some blatant mistakes committed by an installer before. Sam showed up the same day evening and gave me a quote in a couple of days. All the other people who gave me a quote either were too high or not a professional and I choose to work with Sam.
On the day of the job Sam showed up on time and did a very professional work. He ran into so many surprises but he struck with it and finished a high quality work.
Sam at Hi-Tech AV is affordable and a real professional, who knows his stuff.
