My husband and I worked with maybe 8-10 vendors of all kinds as we freshened up our older house before we moved in.  Jeff is the only one who didn't  give us the runaround or cut corners. I've referred him enthusiastically to anyone who will listen!

Jeff is incredibly knowledgable on a huge range of topics and somehow does them all well. Most importantly, he shows pride in his quality of work. For us, he put in a large drywall patch, installed a new medicine chest, put in our tricky kitchen faucet, shimmed floor squeaks, replaced a door casing, and more. He took the time to answer questions not related to the work he was doing (first time homeowners!) and point out things we should know to care for the work he did properly.

Jeff is up front about costs and a friendly and fun personality to have in your home. He was so essential to getting our home situated that my husband and I invited him to our housewarming party. We will certainly continue working with him!

Why doesn't Yelp provide a 10- star rating?!  You know what I'm talking about when you receive such outstanding service from a company/individual that deserves that recognition.   Nick is a walking encyclopedia when it comes to knowledge in the construction field and know-how.  Over the years he has fixed many things for me. I have referred him to my neighbor,  and he currently is working at my mother's house, which is a 60 year old home.  He is doing electrical work, dishwasher repairs, new door installation,  handicap grab bars in the shower and at the toilet.  He has fixed cabinet doors in her RV too. Repaired her hardwood floors and installed new kitchen lighting. Oh and gate repairs.  He was busy last year and couldn't get to me on such short notice.  I hired someone else...NEVER will I make that mistake again.

JLG did a great job removing an old inverter from my home solar system.   He correctly installed a new inverter to replace the old broken inverter.  They know their wiring.

Dan and Jesus were both very professional, patient and proactive about fixing our lighting issues. They didn't have all the replacement parts for the fixtures I had so went out and got them and were back fast to finish the job within 2 hours!

One of the fixtures was hard to get to and the day they came the stores were out of stock for the replacement bulbs. I got one a few days later and George went above and beyond by not charging me even though he sent them both by to help me get it in (a 5 min task) and they were kind enough not to make me feel to bad I couldn't do it myself

Anyway, fantastic experience with the team, I would recommend them to anyone very highly!

We just recently purchased our home in Santa Cruz. We hired Chris to upgrade our electrical box and install/update lighting throughout our home. Chris and his team performed the work beautifully with an eye for detail and creating magical spaces. We completely trusted Chris with his expertise and he delivered! Excellent, excellent work.

My house is built on a slightly sloped grade and the floor was not even throughout the house, in some rooms, the difference of the floor height is over 3 inches. I interviewed three contractors and selected Renopro to work on my project. They replaced the original wooden posts with the permanent screw jacks in the crawl space in a professional and fast way and then adjusted the unevenness utilizing an electrical leveling gauge. I am extremely happy and amazed by the result. Thank you Renopro Construction!

Our front door Smart Lock deadbolt wasn't sliding into place properly, and Dave was able to assess the issue and fix it in a matter of minutes. Adjusted the level of the door, fixed the crashplate position, and now our lock works as good as new. We also brought up our kitchen faucet which had come loose from the counter, and he tightened it up for us. Very happy with his speed and efficiency, and will definitely hire him again for any other issues that come up in the future.

We hired Mark to install a Tesla Car Charger for our house with a permit. He responded quickly and gave us a very reasonable quote. We will definitely be hiring him again for any other work.

We have used JET Electric multiple times since we moved to Gilroy 16 years ago and have always been thoroughly satisfied with their response time and quality of work.  Nice people!

I highly recommend Hourmouz of Bay Sun Electric. He installed 10 LED recessed cans in 3 rooms with dimmer switch and 1 ceiling fan.

He came and inspected our house which very few electricians. I have at-least called 3 more electricians who just gave me an random quote with out even listening to what I want. He promptly communicated with us in email for the final quote with clear description on what he will cover.

He came on time on the day of the job and finished it promptly. He was very detail oriented, honest, detailed oriented and did an excellent job, trust worthy.

I worked with Carlos on adding Recessed lighting to my house. He was very professional, responded quickly, and communicated very well. He explained to me all of my options every step of the way and was able to bring in extra workers to finish the project in half of the time that was estimated. I am very happy with the entire experience. They took a look at the wiring around my house and answered all of my questions that were outside of the scope of the project. They didn't push me for any additional services, and did an amazing job explaining all of my options for any additional work, as well as potential solutions I could do myself to save money. I will definitely be using Flores Electric for any electrical work I need in the future.

Dave was great! Glad I got connected with him for my issue. He diagnosed the issue quickly and fixed it quickly even though we were chatting it up the entire time. Very friendly and professional. I found a coupon deal for tune-up work, so I had someone come out to do the work on my furnace and a/c a couple weeks ago.  Although I can't be sure, the tune-up work seemed to be good, and the technician was friendly.  When he was outside working on the a/c though, I got this feeling that a huge charge was coming down the pipe.

Sure enough, he walked in holding a part from the a/c that looked like a small can, and he said it would cost $500 to replace it.  I was taken back.  When I said it looked like something that would cost $40 at Home Depot, his demeanor changed..  He became impatient.  Good thing I held off on the part.

A couple other hvac companies later told me that I really didn't need to replace the part, but that if I wanted to, they would do it for $100.  They also said Service Champions is a franchise.  They'll come out, for example, on tune-up work and then overcharge on parts that may or may not need to be replaced.  The technicians make commission on these parts.

Long story short..  The tune-up work seemed to be good, but because of the gimmick this technician tried to pull off, I was left feeling stressed.  I won't be using them again.  Thanks for their comment below!
