Cham is the tech whisperer...and a super nice guy as well. He and his team assessed my home for security vulnerabilities, recommended a video surveillance system, and installed it quickly and seamlessly. They also upgraded my WiFi and cell phone reception, with excellent results; installed a Sonos wireless sound system in my home and back yard; and rewired for and installed a flat screen TV in a tricky spot. I no longer call anyone else for my technology needs - truly, Cham's expertise is mind-boggling. If you want top-notch work done at a reasonable price to upgrade or install security, music, and/or home theater systems, fix internet/phone service issues, resolve computer problems or even just learn how to easily manage online passwords, look no further than Regent5. Cham and his team are the BEST!

My husband and I worked with maybe 8-10 vendors of all kinds as we freshened up our older house before we moved in.  Jeff is the only one who didn't  give us the runaround or cut corners. I've referred him enthusiastically to anyone who will listen!

Jeff is incredibly knowledgable on a huge range of topics and somehow does them all well. Most importantly, he shows pride in his quality of work. For us, he put in a large drywall patch, installed a new medicine chest, put in our tricky kitchen faucet, shimmed floor squeaks, replaced a door casing, and more. He took the time to answer questions not related to the work he was doing (first time homeowners!) and point out things we should know to care for the work he did properly.

Jeff is up front about costs and a friendly and fun personality to have in your home. He was so essential to getting our home situated that my husband and I invited him to our housewarming party. We will certainly continue working with him!

It's nice to finally find someone who I can depend on for household maintenance issues. I requested an estimate to clear our dryer vents. Nick was quick to respond. Even though his schedule was full for over a month, he squeezed in an after-hours appointment knowing that I haven't cleared our vent for over 5 years so as to avoid a possible fire hazard. While discussing my dryer concerns, he requested detailed information so that he could be well-prepared and bring the appropriate equipment and tools. I got an estimated arrival time within a short 30 minute window. Nick texted when he was on the way and arrived on time. He got the job done efficiently and resolved an additional issue that I didn't even anticipate (there was a kink in the dryer duct that created a tear). He charges by the hour and since he didn't take up an entire hour, he offered to do other mini-jobs. I asked him to balance my washer and clear my shower drain too.

He finished the hour and I started to ask him to do other mini-jobs but he was honest about his after-hours rates and advised that I reschedule with him during regular hours so that I'm not paying too much for such simple jobs.

I appreciate the kind, honest and professional work he did. I've permanently added him to my services contact list. Thanks Nick!

Jaime helped installing a sub-panel,  outlets,  and times in my backyard.  He is friendly, professionally, project himself.  We get the permit successfully.  I recommend Jaime to all my clients who are looking for a licensed electrician.

Highly recommend!  Had friends and boyfriend do some electrical work, and of course it started acting up.  Found george and his company on yelp, called and he came out right away.  Fixed all the issues that day and even recommended fixes that were less expensive rather then trying to get more money out of me, very refreshing!  I feel safe knowing he's looked over my wiring, and will definitely call him if I ever have any new projects!

Ricardo did a great job installing the outlet for charging our electric vehicle. His prices were reasonable and he was able to fit us in within a couple days. I will recommend him to anyone I know buying a plug in.

I made a number of request for quotes for wiring and installation of a  flush mount light and a ceiling fan in two of our bedrooms and Mike was the first to respond.  Mike came out and quoted the job quickly & competitively.  Mike and his crew were quick, efficient and easy to work with.  They were creative in the installation to help avoid unnecessary drywall work. They were diligent in cleaning the area after the job was completed too.  I would highly recommend Mike and the Green State Electric team for any electrical needs.  We will definitely be using them for some future projects.

Richard is the BEST!!  He fixed a recessed light that two other electricians could not fix.  He is now helping me with a temporary 220v outlet.  He is prompt to reply, timely and charges a fair price.  You can't go wrong if you choose Richard for your electical work.  I am glad I found him.

Chris returned my call within a couple of hours and showed up as scheduled. He
did an excellent job updating our home with a few extra outlets and installing an EV charge station. I'm very happy and wouldn't hesitate to call him again.

Problem: some outlets inoperable on the same circuit.
Analysis: did basic troubleshooting such as:
Resetting circuit breaker; checked GFI plug; validated wire continuity in case of an open. Sent Yelp request for assistance.
Resolution:
Ron took time from his busy schedule to call and stopped by the house to troubleshootNTF and provided a couple of suggestions based on his extensive experience. For safety, I replaced the GFI and manually checked all the plugs and mapped to the circuit breaker box.
Thank again Ron. I validated that the kitchen plugs are in a different circuit hence the remap of the CB.
Root cause: User error. Unable for provide a cost value because the lessons I learned from Ron are invaluable. However if cost must be a factor, price is reasonable. I would call on him again should I have electrical issues that need resolution.

William is very responsive, always anticipated my concerns and questions, addressing them even before I asked. I am very happy with their service and quality of work. Highly recommended!

Very pleased with David's service. Sent him a text with the specific details of the project - hanging of a waterproof outdoor TV storm shell and mounting the 65 TV that went inside. He responded with an estimated bid and came out the very next morning with one other guy. Completed the project in 1 1/2 hours and for a very reasonable price. Definitely recommend!!

**Side note - he used to work for another handyman in the area. He was the guy who came out to do 3 small projects for us last summer (replacing caulking in sink & shower; replacing weather stripping on the bottom of our garage door). We were very pleased with his work then too. Glad he started his own business!

Mark was referred to me by a friend who had a home charger installed by him previously and spoke highly of his work. Mark is a knowledgeable, straightforward, and overall nice guy, and did a terrific job installing the charging unit for my home. Highly recommended!

Over charging without a quote: I called Jet Electric for having a problem with my outdoor fountain. Jim called me back. I trusted him as he is local in Morgan Hill where I live. I cancelled a previous electrician appointment which was from San Jose with a very reasonable price. Jim never gave me a quote on the phone and unfortunately I assumed his technician will give me a quote on site. When his electrician Jake arrived to my house he reset the GFI and told me I needed to replace the pump taking less than 10 minutes of his time. I asked him for a quote. He said he does not deal with money and that I will be getting an invoice from his office.  Later I get an invoice for Jake's 10 minutes visit way more than I expected and much more than the previous quote which I cancelled from San Jose. They even wrongly included a call fee. When I called Jim about it, his conclusion was telling me to let this be a lesson for me to ask for and to receive a quote prior to agreeing for any service person to come to my house. He even threatened to sue me if I didn't pay his invoice, although I never indicated that I will not be paying it and merely asking him to review it and reconsider. Not a good way to treat a customer.  Please be careful with these guys and request a written quote prior to accepting their services. There are plenty of electricians in San Jose with more reasonable prices.

My wife and I wanted to install overhead lighting in the living area of our new house before moving in. We called Bay Sun Electric and Hourmouz came over that evening to go over our options and give us a price quote. His quote was lower than another electrician we had contacted by phone and Hourmouz's quote included re-finishing the ceiling (which the other guy wouldn't even do).

Hourmouz was extremely professional. He arrived right on time and installed all 5 light fixtures installed, patched and painted the holes in the ceiling he used to run the wires and cleaned everything up in less than a day. The LED bulbs he recommended are fantastic and the light fixture installation looks great!

I highly recommend Hourmouz and will be going back to him anytime I need an electrician in the future.

I had some electrical issues that I had no idea was wrong. Called, made an appointment, and next thing you know everything was working great.

Daniel and his son are very professional as well as very friendly. I highly recommend their service to anyone looking to get any electrical issues fixed!

Jesse came out to troubleshoot and fix a melted circuit that caused the breaker to trip. He arrived early, was prompt, professional, and fixed the issue! Check out the wires in the attached photos. He explained the issue in a way that made sense to me (I have zero knowledge of electric other than knowing I don't want to accidentally electrocute myself lol). He also explained some considerations I should take moving forward when it comes time to update the panel. Thank you, Jesse and Alpha Omega!

I had the same experience as the many others. They are fast, efficient, neat and the job gets done right.

Dave responds promptly to queries, his quotes are reasonable, he is extremely knowledgeable and takes pride in his job. He has installed recessed lighting for me  and has also added a 240v outlet in the garage for car charging. Both jobs were done with utmost care and came out really well. I would wholeheartedly recommend Dave for anything electrical. He's a pleasure to work with.

I'm frustrated with Service Champions Heating & Air Conditioning.

Since some time back my HVAC has the error HE0 lockout due too many retries
The company told me to get new Ducts, new control Chip in the circuit board and new thermostat but after doing this,  the problem is still there.    It still happens randomly.

It is very sad and frustrating to spend so much money for something that does not work as it should.

Update on 12/23/2017:
After the problem was fixed it came back last week after a very cold night.   Now the issue is pressure switch (!!!)
I wonder why this was not found before?
I have to wait that the part is available by the manufacture!

My conclusions about this problem are:
1. Few technicians understand the problem lockout due too many retries.
2. The technicians that have more knowledge  need to perform a better and more thorough exam of all components in the HVAC in order. This will avoid the house owners to waste time and money.
3. Almost all HVAC companies in the Bay Area have technicians with very poor technical knowledge.
4. There is almost no HVAC technicians in the Bay Area qualified to deal with the error HE0 = lockout due too many retries
5. If you have this problem with your HVAC make sure the technician who is working with the problem check ALL parts of the HVAC system.

Update on 12/30/2017:
The technician brought the new pressure switch and replace it but the furnace today has the error E0.  So it still does NOT work as it should.

Update on 01/01/2018:
The furnace still has the error E0 this morning!.

Update on 01/02/2018:
The furnace is working again, other technician came, the conclusion is that the system is fine(!), the system blocks itself when there is too much water, the system is too smart.  
When the error HE0 appears again I was told to check the pressure tubings to determine if there is a problem between the Inducer Motor and Ignitor.

I will keep this review with this rating until I don't see the error HE0 anymore or better solution is provided when the error is displayed again in the circuit board.
