Cham has worked on multiple projects for my family and I.  We initially contacted him to troubleshoot some work other installers had done.  The difference between Cham's skill set and that of others we've used is dramatic.  He really knows his stuff and doesn't cut corners.  He recently completed an entire house audio/video system for me.  Multiple zones, multiple sources, multiple tv's, etc... and it's working great.  He knows the equipment, what's worth buying and what's not, and is a great problem solver.  Whether you're looking for someone to fix what someone else has done, or need a system installed from scratch, call Cham.  You won't regret it.

Wife and I am fortunate to have found Jeff on Craigslist. We recently acquired a home in the south bay that required a lot of work. Jeff helped us tremendously and we are very happy with the quality of his work and the level of service he had provided.  This guy is very talented and can do just about anything around the house.

Jeff is very easy to work with, honest, and has great communication skills. I appreciate Jeff  being upfront about the costs and how long each project will take. There were a few things I saved money on by doing it myself. Jeff basically showed me what I need to do and how to do it. If you're looking for someone to do high quality work in a reasonable amount of time, go with Jeff.

We initially wanted can lights only, but take a look at what Jeff ended up doing for us. Below are a list of things Jeff had worked on:

This review took far too long to post and I apologize. Anyway I just wanted to give a glowing review to this most excellent handyman who went above and beyond during his visit.

Because I have bad arthritis and my wife has MS we can't really do all of the tasks around the house we used to. So every now and then we have to hire a handyman which hasn't always had the greatest result. However this time we were very pleased with the service and anticipate calling him back again soon to a couple more things.

We specifically called in order to get help in installing a wall TV mount and also mounting a wall lamp. We also needed to tall bookcases earthquake strapped 2 wall studs. The main issue with our apartment being that the studs are very strange and not always where you would expect them to be based on any reasonable kind of construction normals. He was able to find studs for our mounts and get everything installed in very short order as well as attaching the earthquake straps to our bookshelves. While he was doing this he actually went to the trouble of showing how I could figure out using a tape measure in particular measurements to find the studs in our weirdo apartment.

So we would like to give a great recommendation to this most excellent jack of all trades. His costs were also very reasonable and actually less than the last handyperson we used who was a complete disaster. They were up in Seattle though so you don't have to worry about them.

Absolutely fantastic experience with Jaime and crew of JLG Electric! They replaced my 1950s vintage electrical panel and installed a Tesla wall connector, with the extra challenge that the panel is located about 100' from the garage.

Super responsive over text, email and in person, Jaime showed up on time and as promised every time, from estimating the job to being there for all the county permit inspections for the county and PG&E. Speaking of permits, he shepherded me through that entire convoluted process, giving me clear information of the forms needed and how to meet requirements such as the mandatory smoke/carbon monoxide detectors. He was very considerate and flexible about scheduling when the power would need to be off to least impact my busy SIP/WFH Zoom work meetings. He and his team wore masks the entire team, even when working outside in the open. I especially appreciated his attention to detail, they cleaned up after themselves after every visit. Jaime also sourced a stucco repairman to finish the job as the new panel is a different dimension than the old one.

I recommend JLG Electric wholeheartedly and will be inviting them back to do more work in the future.

Ricky was very professional in his approach to our problem. We had a forty year old panel and was arcing. This led to power being cut off for a day. Our request was not only for restoration of power but also to upgrade service to 200A. Ricky managed to complete a service upgrade to new panel 200A within a day. It was a challenging project since it involved a lot of work and co ordination with city and utilities. He stayed at our place from morning till evening 9pm to make sure we had power for the night. I'll hire him again for future projects.

Chris and his team were fantastic. The electrical wiring both for several ceiling fans and for 2 motorized shades was done in a timely, professional and trustworthy manner.

Ron was the first to respond to the requests I sent. I had 3 come to provide estimates. I accepted Ron's and I'm glad I did. He and his crew were professional, dependable and a pleasure to work with. His team installed recessed lighting, a ceiling fan, and a pendant light. He will be doing all my electrical work in the future. There are many good electricians and I met three. But, I'm glad I hired Ron.

Dave was very responsive to my request for someone to update a small bathroom.  Everything but the shower was replaced, including the flooring, paint, vanity, etc.  This is an older home and remodels can be tricky when floors are not level, etc.  Dave has the experience to know how to handle unexpected issues.  I will hire Dave again for our next project.

I want to recommend Artisan Electrical & HVAC for anyone who is looking for the services they offer. I originally found the company in a local ad and was very grateful that I did. Mark, who is the owner of the company came out to my home in Brentwood to give me an estimate for 220 electrical hook up (future spa). When Mark saw the job that was at hand, he realized the only way to get the electrical to my backyard was to run conduit metal piping along the bottom side of my house. This is to keep the look clean and professional. Not only did Mark give me a very fair estimate, he completed the job above my satisfaction. Mark hooked up an above ground spa, and took the time to show me options for future backyard projects.

We got Hourmouz to install recessed lights in three rooms, two with attic access and one without. Hourmouz visited the place and gave us a quote. The quote was very reasonable. He finished the work on time. Hourmouz and Alan did an excellent job. We were extremely satisfied with their work. They even patched the dry wall and ceiling, textured and painted it. They even fixed a three way switch which wasn't working correctly (I didn't even have to ask for it) Hourmouz and his crew are very professional and excellent in their work. I worked with Carlos on adding Recessed lighting to my house. He was very professional, responded quickly, and communicated very well. He explained to me all of my options every step of the way and was able to bring in extra workers to finish the project in half of the time that was estimated. I am very happy with the entire experience. They took a look at the wiring around my house and answered all of my questions that were outside of the scope of the project. They didn't push me for any additional services, and did an amazing job explaining all of my options for any additional work, as well as potential solutions I could do myself to save money.
