We hired Regent5 for fire alarm installation in a mult-unit office/warehouse space in Burlingame.  We worked with Tony on this project and he was a professional who kept us posted on the progress including working with the City of Burlingame to get final certification.  Cham was always reachable and responsive as well when we had questions and issues.  It was a pleasure working with Regent5.

My husband and I worked with maybe 8-10 vendors of all kinds as we freshened up our older house before we moved in.  Jeff is the only one who didn't  give us the runaround or cut corners. I've referred him enthusiastically to anyone who will listen!

Jeff is incredibly knowledgable on a huge range of topics and somehow does them all well. Most importantly, he shows pride in his quality of work. For us, he put in a large drywall patch, installed a new medicine chest, put in our tricky kitchen faucet, shimmed floor squeaks, replaced a door casing, and more. He took the time to answer questions not related to the work he was doing (first time homeowners!) and point out things we should know to care for the work he did properly.

Jeff is up front about costs and a friendly and fun personality to have in your home. He was so essential to getting our home situated that my husband and I invited him to our housewarming party. We will certainly continue working with him!

Our Andersen bathroom window, awning type, needed a new crank operator.  Besides the parts which we were able to order, there was a tricky operation involving a 36 in. piece of trim wood.  Nick was familiar with the problem we were facing and was able to remove and replace this fragile piece of wood as part of exchanging the old operator parts with the new ones.  His work was clean and efficient.  I highly recommend Nick both for jobs he has done before (there are many types) and ones that he has to learn how to do freshly.  If you have a household problem, call Ye Olde Handyman!

Just worked with Jamie on three installs of some pretty complex chandeliers. They showed up and was very careful with the room(s) by laying down tarps and cleared the work space.
They took their time and was patient with each fixture even when I asked to move them around and work with the placement. Even when we ran into an issue they worked out a solution.
I'm an interior designer and I have worked with my share of tradesmen, Jamie was definitely one of them most professional I have encountered. I'd highly recommend him.

George, Dan and team are seriously the best! We had made an appointment for them to move a light switch, change a light to recessed lighting, add an outlet and move our 2 vanity lights in the bathroom. We had a few things go wrong (on our side) and the team was so helpful and patient. They ended up having to come back three times since our vanity lights arrived late, but they made it work since we had the painters there and needed them to patch up the walls from the electrical work. We had such a great experience that we will definitely be using them for all of our future electrical needs.

Green State's helped me with everything from lights, to fans, to wiring new buildings to putting in hot tubs to installing a Tesla wall charger in my garage with a whole new panel. Never once had an issue and they stand behind their work and recommendations. Been working with them 10+ years and am intending to do more with them soon.

I had an issue with a possible circuit blowing after I bought an electric car and tried charging it at home. Even though it was late in the day, Ricky responded within minutes, came over that same evening and fixed the problem for me on the spot. He was very professional and honest, and I would recommend him to anyone looking for an electrician, without hesitation.

This company is as good as it can get - professional, efficient, prompt, dependable and trustworthy. Chris and his team did troubleshooting, repairs and a few light installations. They were on time, communicative, neat and clean. We were very pleased and will use them again, no doubt!

My house is built on a slightly sloped grade and the floor was not even throughout the house, in some rooms, the difference of the floor height is over 3 inches. I interviewed three contractors and selected Renopro to work on my project. They replaced the original wooden posts with the permanent screw jacks in the crawl space in a professional and fast way and then adjusted the unevenness utilizing an electrical leveling gauge. I am extremely happy and amazed by the result. Thank you Renopro Construction!

Dave responded to my request for bid and proposal right away by quoting $2500 for the job.  Understand he hadn't even seen the job site at this point.  

So I came back and wrote, well that's a bid but what's your proposal?  What do you propose to do for that $2500?  To which he agreed perhaps he should see the site.  And I agreed and told him that my week was free, just name a date for the visit.

He never responded to that after more than a week had passed by.

Dave might be the best thing since sliced bread for fixing floor problems, but he's totally missing proper project management skills.  He doesn't seem to know what a request for bid and proposal means.  At least with me he didn't show that he did.

I do not recommend him because of his lack of management skills.

I'm impressed by Mark's professionalism and response time. When I first reached out to him, I got the voice mail that he is on vacation. But he still replied right away to my inquiry which is amazing.

He provides detailed explanation of what to expect and estimates. He can apply for permits which I found many electricians don't have the experiences doing so.

I appreciate he took the time to educate me what is expected to install the EV charger and the transparency of the price.

We had an issue with a couple outlets in our house not working and our washer and dryer constantly going out without any ability to resuscitate it. We are so happy we found Jim, as we placed a call one morning and he was out at our house the next day! He quickly diagnosed our issue as being a burnt circuit peace, and he was able to not only fix it, but install a few more outlets in our garage to ensure that our washer and dryer would safely operate from here on out. It was such a relief to have someone who not only understood exactly what needed to be done, but was also an absolute joy to learn from and talk to  throughout the process. Thank you Jim! We now know who to call if we ever have any other issues!!!

Hourmouz did a great job putting in 28 LED recessed lights (some upstairs, some downstairs) with dimmer switches in our home.  He's professional, meticulous, and communicates well.

At the time, we had gotten another quote from another guy (not licensed), and the prices were relatively comparable. We decided to go with Hourmouz even though his bid was slightly higher.  Basically, his pricing is very fair, and you got top-notch quality work for the money.  Hourmouz is also a licensed electrician, so you can feel more assured about the safety and quality of his work.  He also did a good job patching and painting the areas where he had to cut through our drywall.

He's also done lighting work for my in-laws and some family friends.  We all love working with him, and all of us can wholeheartedly recommend him for your lighting and other electrical needs.

Excellent service from D&C Electric! They came to install ceiling fans for us today. They were prompt, efficient, extremely professional, and did an amazing job with each installation. I was working from home today and had to deal with a lot of phone calls and meetings. Daniel and his father were so patient with me. They had questions to ask to ensure that everything was done correctly and I appreciated the fact that they patiently waited for me to finish my calls whenever they had a query. They left everything so clean too. I am very impressed and I will not hesitate to hire them again for my next project.

We used them for a large home remodel project. The workers that came were excellent. Ray (not the owner -- diffferent Ray), came first and helped us decide what we would be working on and then gave us a detailed estimate. The installation team came next and did the work. Everything was extremely professional and focused on details. Would definitely use them again!

I called Dave their owner to ask him to come out and check my alarm system as it was going off every time I would plug in a light for my sons science project in the same room.  He was very honest and told me that it was my wired smoke detector that needed to be replaced and that it wasn't a short.  I was insistent that it was a short but he explained confidently that it was the smoke alarm.  If you want to use a company thats owner will tell the truth even when it will cost money by missing out on a potential call pick this company!  Oh and by the way he was right, was the alarm.

I started using them to do maintenance on my old unit and since they did such a great job with that, I decided to move forward with replace both furnace and AC with them. I did after i got several estimates, and even when they were not the cheapest, they offer the best finance options and had a great reviews.
After sitting on the estimates for a while, I called them and they were ready to schedule the installation and were able to keep the same price. Everything during the installation when smooth except for a little detail. To get a nest thermostat installed, they had to run new cable and made a whole in my hardwood floor. This little detail became a huge deal because they couldn't anybody to fix it, so i had to get my own contractor to do it. Then to get a refund, I had to send several emails to finally get it.
So 4 stars because they just couldn't go beyond what was expected
