Cham is the tech whisperer...and a super nice guy as well. He and his team assessed my home for security vulnerabilities, recommended a video surveillance system, and installed it quickly and seamlessly. They also upgraded my WiFi and cell phone reception, with excellent results; installed a Sonos wireless sound system in my home and back yard; and rewired for and installed a flat screen TV in a tricky spot. I no longer call anyone else for my technology needs - truly, Cham's expertise is mind-boggling. If you want top-notch work done at a reasonable price to upgrade or install security, music, and/or home theater systems, fix internet/phone service issues, resolve computer problems or even just learn how to easily manage online passwords, look no further than Regent5. Wife and I am fortunate to have found Jeff on Craigslist. We recently acquired a home in the south bay that required a lot of work. Jeff helped us tremendously and we are very happy with the quality of his work and the level of service he had provided.  This guy is very talented and can do just about anything around the house.

Jeff is very easy to work with, honest, and has great communication skills. I appreciate Jeff  being upfront about the costs and how long each project will take. There were a few things I saved money on by doing it myself. Jeff basically showed me what I need to do and how to do it. If you're looking for someone to do high quality work in a reasonable amount of time, go with Jeff.

We initially wanted can lights only, but take a look at what Jeff ended up doing for us. Below are a list of things Jeff had worked on:

Nick is a very friendly and experienced handyman. He came to my house earlier than scheduled. Went through all the details and made sure we're aligned on everything before doing any work. He's got all the tools and materials ready in his van so it was zero work for me. It was super awesome, and I would definitely work with him again in the future

JLG did a great job removing an old inverter from my home solar system.   He correctly installed a new inverter to replace the old broken inverter.  They know their wiring.

I need to install a charging station for my new Tesla, and had the most challenging situations one could imagine. Not only did we need to upgrade the circuit breaker, but there's a bee hive right behind the panel!

George came on the same day for a free consultation, and immediately came back the next day to provide a short-term solution, so that I could start charging the car right away. And then he worked with PGE and the city to deal with permit, etc. Most impressively, he and his team worked patiently with my bee specialist to deal with the panel upgrade and solve the bee problem all in one shot! I couldn't be happier with the results!

Ricardo and his team were super awesome! Came to our house from across the bay and made it on time!! Super reliable and honest. He came and took a look at our socket issue and will come back again tomorrow to check if there are still any issues! Will definitely recommend! 5 star service!

Mike was quick in response and helpful in suggestions to solve an urgent issue related to our master breaker and panel. He answered our questions, came up with an estimate and was flexible in being able to help us and work with the county. I really appreciated his help in this matter.

Just spoke to Ricky, and he has to be one of the most professional, polite, and honest contractors I have had the pleasure of speaking to; in fact, he explained why I didn't actually need the service for which I was calling! I really appreciate his style and honesty. I will certainly call him when I actually do need help!

I am new to Santa Cruz and we are renting a house. It's an older home, and when I started blow drying my hair I blew a fuse. Normally this isn't a huge deal, but after extensive searching, calling our landlord, it became clear that locating the breaker box was going to be a massive challenge. The landlord didn't know where it was, and meanwhile hour after hour was passing without power to half the house.

I called Coastline Electric and even though no one was able to come out to the house. They walked me through a solution over the phone. Fixed via phone consult. I was really impressed that someone took the time to talk me through it on the phone.

Strongly recommend if you want friendly help from people who really care!

I needed a 2nd Level 2 EV outlet.  Ron responded quickly to my phone call.  He came out and did an estimate.  He was kind, friendly, thoughtful and creative in minimizing the work and cost.  He has a great personality.  His quote was very reasonable, much better than I was fearing.  He did the job efficiently.   I will definitely use his services again on other electrical work.  He's a keeper.  You won't go wrong with him; you will be very happy with his services.

Working with Renopro was a pleasant experience throughout the construction. I chose William's team to work on my skylights because William was the only one who gave me very detailed plan and useful suggestion among the three contractors I contacted. We were extremely happy with the result. His team was always courteous, friendly, and professional. The project was completed in a timely manner and at a reasonable price.

Dave responded to my request for bid and proposal right away by quoting $2500 for the job.  Understand he hadn't even seen the job site at this point.  

So I came back and wrote, well that's a bid but what's your proposal?  What do you propose to do for that $2500?  To which he agreed perhaps he should see the site.  And I agreed and told him that my week was free, just name a date for the visit.

He never responded to that after more than a week had passed by.

Dave might be the best thing since sliced bread for fixing floor problems, but he's totally missing proper project management skills.  He doesn't seem to know what a request for bid and proposal means.  At least with me he didn't show that he did.

I do not recommend him because of his lack of management skills.

Just had my Tesla home charger installed by Mark and his team - Artisan Electrical & HVAC. You won't see any wires or mess, the job is done very clean and tidy. The team is very kind, courteous, efficient, and on time explaining everything from beginning to the end. I'm very pleased with the professionalism and service provided by Mark. Thank you!

Jim sent Jake out to try and find out why our exterior lights suddenly stopped working.  Seemed that one of the deer had stepped onto an exposed pipe joint breaking the pipe at ground level and in so doing crossed a wire shorting the fixture and three others.  Jake worked the problem backward until we found the broken pipe and spotted the short.  He had some of the grey pic parts and I had the others in stock in my home.  All together and in 45 minutes it was operating just like new.  Jim kept calling and bothering him on the cell phone urging him to work faster ( not popular in view as Jake was working diligently and safely).  Anyway, we had one other circuit that needed attention but since we hadn't put it on the original call, and since Jim the boss was harassing Jake again we just decided to call someone else. Ah well.

Hourmouz installed recessed LED lights in our living room, office and one bedroom, he replaced all our old LED lights in the bathrooms and kitchen, and he installed a chandelier in our master bedroom. The living room has 20', sloped ceilings, which I thought would be a difficult installation, but he made it look easy! The lights look great, he aligned them perfectly, and installed them in exactly the right place on the ceiling. Hourmouz takes tremendous pride in his work, and he pays attention to all the details. For example, the installation of the recessed lights required opening the drywall to access the wiring. He made the smallest possible holes, and then patched and re-surfaced them perfectly. We had three offers to do this work, and Hourmouz was the only one who included the dry wall repair in the offer (the other two contractors refused to do it). He was also significantly less expensive than the most expensive offer, and competitive with the other. I'd recommend Hourmouz to anyone, and I'm very happy to have his work lighting up our house.

I had some electrical issues that I had no idea was wrong. Called, made an appointment, and next thing you know everything was working great.

I was VERY pleased with the work that David at Absolute Electric 510-501-3818 preformed.

I found David when I was searching the Internet for an electrician to do some electrical work for my business, replacing ballasts in 20 lighting fixtures. All the reviews that I found stated that he was reasonably priced and very professional.

I contacted him and received a quote for performing the electrical and found that his prices were very reasonable and that, like the other reviews, was very courteous.

Other companies I contacted wanted me to clear out our manufacturing area, so that they could bring in a scissor lift to access the lights and David said that he could do it without having to disturb our operations and that he can access them on a ladder, without moving anything! He was here, along with another person, the day we contracted him for and not only took care of our ballasts, but rewired several of our emergency lights so that they worked properly without charging anything extra.

He did such a great job for me at my business that I talked to him about doing some work at my home. I don't like to have strangers in my home, but I really felt comfortable with them and David's ethics of doing what is needed and not overcharging because he can, that I will be having them add a sub panel and rewire several circuits.

I would highly recommend David and his employees to do any work you need for your business or your home.

Jake Owen serviced two of our heaters. He was very knowledgeable and professional.
Explained all the issues and the necessary preventive maintenance action items.
I was very impressed.
