Cham and Regent5 are great. After some really bad luck with another vendor (here's a tip: if a sales guy ever says But I won't make any money if I do that! then find another firm) I asked for a home automation system that I could program and change myself, as my husband and I are both highly technical and want to own the stuff in our house, not just license it. After no other vendors would even respond to me, Cham finally did. Instead of upselling me on Control4 or Savant -- which both have their uses, just not in my home -- he told me to just go with Harmony. He was the only vendor with the correct answer.

He and his team came in, yanked out all of the old stuff, put down drop cloths and taped up dust shields, and went to town. In three days I had things mounted and reinstalled and working perfectly.

Cham is trustworthy, smart, and best of all he listens to your needs and sells you what will solve your problem, not what will make him the most money. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Wife and I am fortunate to have found Jeff on Craigslist. We recently acquired a home in the south bay that required a lot of work. Jeff helped us tremendously and we are very happy with the quality of his work and the level of service he had provided.  This guy is very talented and can do just about anything around the house.

Jeff is very easy to work with, honest, and has great communication skills. I appreciate Jeff  being upfront about the costs and how long each project will take. There were a few things I saved money on by doing it myself. Jeff basically showed me what I need to do and how to do it. If you're looking for someone to do high quality work in a reasonable amount of time, go with Jeff.

We initially wanted can lights only, but take a look at what Jeff ended up doing for us. Below are a list of things Jeff had worked on:

JLG did a great job removing an old inverter from my home solar system.   He correctly installed a new inverter to replace the old broken inverter.  They know their wiring.

George, Dan and team are seriously the best! We had made an appointment for them to move a light switch, change a light to recessed lighting, add an outlet and move our 2 vanity lights in the bathroom. We had a few things go wrong (on our side) and the team was so helpful and patient. They ended up having to come back three times since our vanity lights arrived late, but they made it work since we had the painters there and needed them to patch up the walls from the electrical work. We had such a great experience that we will definitely be using them for all of our future electrical needs.

Ricky was very responsive, on time, and professional.  He was very knowledgeable about the recessed wafer lights we wanted throughout the house.  He knew city code requirements and easily passed the inspections for our permit.  Ricky is a one-man operation and completed every electrical item on our punch list.  He tried his best to make minimal cuts into the ceilings to minimize drywall repair. Ricky was very neat and tidy and wore shoe covers inside the house.  He used third hands to build a floor to ceiling tent with plastic sheeting around himself anytime he cut into our ceilings to keep the drywall dust from flying all over.  He used a HEPA fan to suck the loose drywall dust and also vacuumed.  We highly recommend Ricky and he will be our first call anytime we need electrical work in the future.

I have been communicating with the owner, Chris, and although my friend helped fix the problem :-) I can't tell you how impressed I was with Chris's professionalism.

I will definitely be calling Chris if I have any sort of electrical problem. He sounds like a very trustworthy, professional, and nice guy.

My house is built on a slightly sloped grade and the floor was not even throughout the house, in some rooms, the difference of the floor height is over 3 inches. I interviewed three contractors and selected Renopro to work on my project. They replaced the original wooden posts with the permanent screw jacks in the crawl space in a professional and fast way and then adjusted the unevenness utilizing an electrical leveling gauge. I am extremely happy and amazed by the result. Thank you Renopro Construction!

This guy strung me along even though I was willing to help get things done when he gave excuses.  He is not professional and am not sure why he was high on the search for a responsible handyman.
Run from this guy!  He left me hanging at the last minute and still wouldn't be any help when I offered to pick him up when he gave a weak excuse that his truck wouldn't work.  I simply needed him to view the job and give a quote, and I was willing to wait until his truck was fixed to do all the work required.  A true loser handyman.

Mark was very friendly and knowledgeable while installing a NEMA 14-50 outlet for charging my Tesla Model 3 in my garage. Very good price as well. I would highly recommend Mark to anyone needing an EV charger installed.

Jim the owner was very helpful, sent his partner out within hours to help us out a and identify our grounding.  Three other companies couldn't come out for weeks to months.  One company was going to charge us to find our grounding.  Jim is knowledgeable, kind and efficient.  We so appreciate your quick response and help.  Thank you both.

My wife and I wanted to install overhead lighting in the living area of our new house before moving in. We called Bay Sun Electric and Hourmouz came over that evening to go over our options and give us a price quote. His quote was lower than another electrician we had contacted by phone and Hourmouz's quote included re-finishing the ceiling (which the other guy wouldn't even do).

Hourmouz was extremely professional. He arrived right on time and installed all 5 light fixtures installed, patched and painted the holes in the ceiling he used to run the wires and cleaned everything up in less than a day. The LED bulbs he recommended are fantastic and the light fixture installation looks great!

I highly recommend Hourmouz and will be going back to him anytime I need an electrician in the future.

I may have misunderstood your statement. Your statement threw me off by thinking that your president is a licensed engineer in California and not just someone who studied engineering. Unless you are licensed engineer, by the state of Ca, you can not design or sign off on electrical work. Your president's electrical experience back at home, does not meet any building codes or standards in California.

Alpha Omega Electric came to install a new 240V line for us when we switched from a gas range to an electric range.  They did a great job and I would highly recommend them. (They were recommended to us by a friend).

Jesse came out at gave us a quote which we appreciated and answered all the questions that we had.  Luis came on the day to do the job and he was extremely nice and very professional and knowledgeable.  He did the job in the estimated 3 hour timeframe and the work was very neat and clean.  He even fixed a couple of other issues for us.

The job cost quite a bit but since we needed a lot of copper wire, this was expected.  Their cost also compared favorably with the estimates we got from two other companies.

We would happily use Alpha Omega Electric again.

Ray and team installed an electric vehicle charging unit(Tesla) ; realized that my 200 amp panel has a subpanel that was inadequate in having a dedicated electrical line to charge my Tesla. Ray did both in an informative and methodological way
He also identified and resolved a electric short on chandelier in our foyer in a professional manner. I am highly recommending Flores Electric for identification of the problem efficiently, executing a strategic plan and resolving the electrical issue.

Dave is totally awesome!  We hired Dave to add a dedicated circuit for our heater.  He showed up on time for the job and was very easy to work with.  David was very professional and he even helped me to troubleshoot and fix other electrical issues in my house.  I would highly recommend Dave to everyone.  I'm 100% sure that he will get the job done right at a very fair price!!!

It pays to have regular tune ups on our HVAC. The technicians from Service Champions really know their stuff and they do a great job on a diagnostic as well as cleaning & inspection. I joined their club membership program and got 20% off on doing a repair.
