Best Electricians in San Jose, CA

Our new home came with a Lutron Radiora2 and Lutron Homeworks QS lighting and shade control system. First off, this stuff is very cool as long as you have a good team at your side to reprogram and make changes. I didn't at first, the home builder used a complete numbnuts for this and screwed the system royally. And we went through three different electrical contractors and spend a considerable amount of money trying to get the system to work properly, and no one seem to know what they were doing. At one point we even considered pulling the system out completely and going with traditional light switches and controls for the window blinds and light fixtures out of total frustration. Then we found Cham on yelp, go figure. I actually never thought of using Yelp to find an electrical contractor for something this complex but I am glad I did. Cham walked in for the initial consult where I wanted his company to help me pull the system out completely, but he convinced me not to throw away the Lutron gear and to let him reprogram the system. I was very skeptical at this point but figured I had nothing to loose. He plugs in his laptop and within 45mins, gets the ground floor lighting to work properly...amazing. Cam back four days later over the weekend and reprogrammed the whole house within 4 hours with two more of his co-workers. Presto, all the lights, and scene based keypads work beautifully. And the electric shades open and close now. Amazing team and definitely the go to company for technology needs in the bay area.

My husband and I worked with maybe 8-10 vendors of all kinds as we freshened up our older house before we moved in.  Jeff is the only one who didn't  give us the runaround or cut corners. I've referred him enthusiastically to anyone who will listen!

Jeff is incredibly knowledgable on a huge range of topics and somehow does them all well. Most importantly, he shows pride in his quality of work. For us, he put in a large drywall patch, installed a new medicine chest, put in our tricky kitchen faucet, shimmed floor squeaks, replaced a door casing, and more. He took the time to answer questions not related to the work he was doing (first time homeowners!) and point out things we should know to care for the work he did properly.

Jeff is up front about costs and a friendly and fun personality to have in your home. He was so essential to getting our home situated that my husband and I invited him to our housewarming party. We will certainly continue working with him!

At the time of this review, Nick is currently replacing some light fixtures at my home. He was prompt, professional, and explained everything he was doing. I will definitely be contacting him again for future work.

Not enough room to say how nice it was to work with them. Jaime is wonderful and so responsive. We were having flickering lights and I had several electricians out to take a look. No one took the time and effort to troubleshoot that Jaime did. He oiled and checked the connections in our entire box instead of just guessing and telling me we needed a new box, which every other electrician had. We needed to switch out the light switches themselves to be compatible with LED lights. He didn't even charge us for that. Earned my trust immediately with the care he took.
Next, we have called him for two other jobs- one inside and one outside and he and his partner stayed late into the evening to get the task done. It is so rare to see that kind of work ethic I feel and I have just been very impressed with this company and how they explain issues and go about solving them. Call them now!

GE Richardson Electric did a fantastic job installing my NEMA 14-50 outlet in my garage to charge my Model X much faster.  They are a Tesla Certified electrician as seen on Tesla's website.  

The owner, George, had really good communication throughout the whole process.  We communicated over the course of a month because I needed to get my HOA approval and he helped me along with that.  He did load calculations beforehand, suggested the best way to run the conduits to the outlet, got the city permit, and came for the city inspection as well.  They are licensed and pay worker's comp in case your HOA needs it like mine did.  

For the install, his team took 3 hours on one day, and then George came by for a short 20 minute inspection with the city inspector on another day.  Usually they can do it all in the same day, it just depends on when the city has availability.  

They're an all-in-one package making everything easier for you.  Plus, their price was the best in the Bay Area for a Tesla Certified electrician.  

I highly recommend them to anyone looking to get a NEMA 14-50 outlet installed!

Ricardo did a great job installing the outlet for charging our electric vehicle. His prices were reasonable and he was able to fit us in within a couple days. I will recommend him to anyone I know buying a plug in.

I was replacing our outlets + switches and got about half to turn on, and was stuck on where the problem was. I got in touch with Mike and he was very responsive, offering to come out that evening to get our house up and running. Mike was able to fix the problem quickly and give me a few tips for next time. Thanks again Mike, will definitely use you in the future!

Ricky was very professional in his approach to our problem. We had a forty year old panel and was arcing. This led to power being cut off for a day. Our request was not only for restoration of power but also to upgrade service to 200A. Ricky managed to complete a service upgrade to new panel 200A within a day. It was a challenging project since it involved a lot of work and co ordination with city and utilities. He stayed at our place from morning till evening 9pm to make sure we had power for the night. I'll hire him again for future projects.

Chris and Lenny are the consummate professionals.  Not only is their electrical work perfect, but they have a great eye for what will look nice too.  We are so pleased that out contractor for our kitchen remodel brought Coastline to the team.  They were super pleasant, always on consumer oriented, and left us with a beautiful product.  I have no doubt they may not be the cheapest electricians, but you certainly get everything you pay for and more.  I cannot recommend them highly enough.  Hire these guys and you will not be disappointed.

Was looking for a structural contractor to help inspect the foundation of a home we were closing escrow on. I talked to William who was excellent at providing information and estimate cost of repairs needed which helped put our minds at ease. Highly recommend the company for their quick response time. My sink had terrible water pressure and the hot water wouldn't work at all. Found Dave on yelp he replaced my sink had everything back up and running within a hour. He was on time, very professional, and did a great job! Would definitely hire him again.

Hourmouse did an excellent work in installing fan and recessed lights. He came to the site, looked at the electrical connection, recommended lightings and provided quote. When we purchased LED lights, he checked all wires and ensure that it is compatible with our connection. His work is also prefect and delivered a high quality work. He used to cover our stuff to prevent debris. Some of the paint did not match, but that's because Lowe's could not provide the exact match.

I had some electrical issues that I had no idea was wrong. Called, made an appointment, and next thing you know everything was working great.

Daniel and his son are very professional as well as very friendly. I highly recommend their service to anyone looking to get any electrical issues fixed!

I did some troubleshooting myself, but could not fix the CFGI socket.
He arrived on time and fix the problem within 20 minutes.

Dave is totally awesome!  We hired Dave to add a dedicated circuit for our heater.  He showed up on time for the job and was very easy to work with.  David was very professional and he even helped me to troubleshoot and fix other electrical issues in my house.  I would highly recommend Dave to everyone.  I'm 100% sure that he will get the job done right at a very fair price!!!

Zach came out to perform the biannual service on my HVAC system.  He was very knowledgeable and discussed how the system was running and what was replaced. He is very friendly and doesn't pressure you to purchase additional things. He was on time and wore booties in the house to keep my floors clean. Zach is a great asset to the Service Champions family.
