Ed did a great job installing our ev charger. We got the Wallbox pulsar plus and Ed installed it pretty clean on our wall. We are pretty satisfied with the quality of his work. We highly recommend Ed to everybody who needs EV chargers installed.

Scope of work:
- Install 12 recessed lights (6 in the living room, 6 in the family room)
- Update power switches to remove 'switch' functionality
- Install a power outlet in the bathroom near a bidet(hate running an extension cord to power)
- Install a new ceiling fan in one bedroom

Timeline:
12/13 @ 1PM: Estimate Request went out to several contractors
12/13 @ 3PM: Gustavo(Owner) was in my house for an estimate
12/15 @ 8AM: Work Starts
12/16 @ 5PM: Work Ends

Communication:
Excellent communication throughout the entire project. Corresponded via Yelp, Text, Email and over the phone. Gustavo's understanding of the work/scope was on point and he was able to give ideas on how he'd execute the work for the project.

Pricing:
After receiving several free estimates from other electricians GNH's pricing was very competitive and fair.

Professionalism:
Extremely professional and is very thorough with his work. Gustavo's YEARS of experience really shined through during the estimate walkthrough. It was VERY evident that he knew what he was doing and CLEARLY understood my asks. Always showed up prompt and on time for the work. Wore shoe coverings every time while walking on the carpet.

Execution of Project:
Gustavo and his team were AMAZING. In the event decisions were needed, Gustavo did an excellent job looping me in on the details and his recommendations. On the day of the project, I gave him a curve ball and asked him to install 2 more recessed lights and he took on the new scope with a smile. The end product of the project was GREAT! The effort and detail that Gustavo and his team put into my home was outstanding. My new recessed lighting and updated electrical makes my house feel BRAND new!

Conclusion:
One of the best contractors I've worked with! I have Gustavo's contact details saved and ready to be leveraged for future projects. I've already started to brag about his EXCELLENT work to my friends and family! Personally I'm looking forward to continuing to leverage GNH's services for many years to come.

Moices came over to tackle our bathroom light and fan that was hardwired from long ago. He and his team were responsive and give a good estimate and came on time and did the job and left the plaice as clean as they found it. Would definitely use them again.

Roman was amazing! He gave me a very reasonable quote and then was able to come do the work the next week. In fact, he even re-arranged his schedule to accommodate my schedule. The work was done neatly, quickly, and looks and works great.
He was flexible to my needs and thoughful about his suggestions. Saw we liked wine and even made a great suggestion for some wine as well!

Wow this company is amazing! We had at least five other electrical companies come out for estimates before we found Dalcon. Hiring them was a no-brainer after meeting the others. Our electricians were/are Rey I. and Rafael R. They were completely professional, knowledgeable, communicative in every way (especially texting which is so handy), clean and both adorable guys to boot.

We have 66 yr old knob-and-tube wiring in half of the house. We wanted a couple of the outlets upgraded to the latest, and we needed an outdoor flood on the front of the house replaced. They gave us two new AFCI switches on the panel, plus new junction boxes under the house for each of the rooms. The junction boxes provide a path to further upgrade the house which I don't believe the other electricians mentions). They taught us almost everything we need to know going forward to upgrade the rest of the house.

For this job, I wanted everything done to code and with permits. I provided drawings of the house and made marks where I wanted the rewired receptacles. They took care of all the permits. To my delight - they were very knowledgeable about all the current electrical codes.

The guys that do your estimate also do the work. How rare is that? With other companies a great guy comes out and does the estimate, then he sends someone else - possible very junior - to do the work. Not so with Dalcon. We got to interview and know the guys doing the actual work prior to the work day.

The tricky thing was tying off the old knob-and-tube so that the rest of it worked correctly. Also fitting the new AFCI switches in the panel box was interesting. The work I couldn't see - stapling the new romex to the underside of the house - I have a feeling it was done precisely since everything else they did was done so well.

They each drove their own truck with the company logo. They had shirts to match and wore booties everytime they came inside so they wouldn't track dirt. In doing the original estimate they used a company-wide pricing book. They take visa with no extra fee.

So they installed all the stuff we wanted, then helped us fix some minor things for no charge. I can't promise you'll get extra things for no charge from them. We are always very nice to our contractors - so I'm sure that helped. (I recommend being super nice to your workers - hey - why not?).  Dalcon appears to be a largish company with at least 15 electricians. I like that so in 5 years if something breaks, they are there to fix their work. I can't wait to have them out again to upgrade the rest of our wiring. Thank you Dalcon, Rey and Rafael!

Additional comment: George from Dalcon came out to help with getting the permit approved by the city. He's a great guy and was very helpful. Another wonderful experience with Dalcon!

Andrew was amazing he was on time, polite, knowledgeable, and quick he was able to replace my old water heater quickly at a reasonable price would highly recommend Andrew and his crew

James is one of the most professional, honest and thorough contractors I have dealt with.  After finding great reviews for him on Yelp back in April I called him for a project I needed done.  I have since had him out to do more and every single time has been a great experience - quality work and very fair prices.  He more than earned all of the 5 star ratings you see for him here.

Thus far he has moved all the electrical outlets for our kitchen so that the outlets are mounted under our cabinets, replaced all the recessed lighting units, and  and run a new outlet for our over the fireplace mounted TV.   And really, every single time I have been pleased with his work and recommendations.

One other thing that I like is that he is honest and isn't trying to make the issues you have bigger so that he can charge more.

I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone who wants the job done right.

Knowledgeable and detail oriented approach provided. Needed upgrades to the electric panel to accommodate the switch from a gas to electric water heater. The team was able to diagnose the issue, fully communicate the available options, and help create a plan to address the situation. The team is RESPONSIVE and will definitely use them AGAIN. He was very accommodating with working after 5pm which was really helpful.
I had a dishwasher draining issue. Chuck showed me how to drain it manually. Checked the water flow and instead of billing for hours to pull it apart suggested that I call the manufacturer and see if this problem has already been reported.
That way I could purchase the needed part and get him back again.
This saved me money and I appreciated the help (because I was lost and Utube were sending me down a dark path with do it yourself suggestions).
Get a professional in to do the job right - CHUCK is your man.

Finding a reliable electrician is hard.  Finding one that stands up for his work and ensures satisfaction is even more difficult. Emanuel is someone who makes sure he gets things right and gets you pointed in the right direction.  If you want someone who really cares about his profession and about making things right for his clients, I would highly recommend him.

Talked with Henry yesterday and his appointment at my house was to be between 3 and 4 p.m. today! Here it is after 6 p.m. and with several calls to his establishment, there hasn't been ANY return calls to me! I've been waiting all day for what I believe is a short in my wall, (my neighbors had a short and the house caught fire), But this seems to be of NO concern to henry,(a small h for a small man), and to   and Calif. Power & light! If this vendor had any miniscule amount of professionalism, someone could have at least called and said he couldn't make it today and would be out tomorrow!  I can no longer support this type of unprofessionalism and wish others to consider, (better), vendors that this!!

I was having some electrical problems with our house, and contacted Fred to see what could be done. Fred was super responsive, and gave great advice during our initial troubleshooting. He helped us resolve our problem quickly and got everything back to normal quicker than I had hoped!

This review is for the quote process. Contacted David through Yelp requesting a quote. He got back to us quickly and happened to be in our are (Aptos). He uses text and email promptly so this was nice as well.

5 stars to David because he was nothing but honest with us about what updates we needed and what could wait. He didn't try to upsell us or anything which is very much appreciated. His quote was very fair and reasonably priced and was the best deal we found in comparison to other quotes we heard about from others.

For this reason when we need electrician work we will definitely call him!

Zhang installed NEMA 14-50 in my garage today. He did a great job and was very responsive from the beginning. I'll always recommend Zhang to anyone at my community.

All the lights went out in my kitchen and I couldn't figure out what to do. I called up these guys and they responded super quick and came by and helped me out right away. I never leave reviews but Ronnie was super professional and helpful that I had to say something. U don't get quality honest help like this now a days. Definitely give these guys a shot.
