Best Electricians in San Jose, CA
Rick was amazing. He showed up on time, called when he was on his way so I didn't have to wait all day. He was super informative, friendly, patient, and told me all the options I had to install a new 110 outlet for my microwave install.
The day of the job Rick did a great job, was timely, and the end result - I have a working microwave!
I even spoke with the owner, Shane, and he was just as pleasant. His company really strives for customer service, and that's what I really appreciate. I am a single girl who has no idea about contractors or electricians but I felt comfortable letting Rick do what he needed to do. They took great care of me. I will use them in the future and definitely recommend them to others.

Being a first time home owner it took me a couple of electricians to find Jesse and Alpha Omega Electric. This is Jesse's second time out to my house and it's great to have a relationship where I can text Jesse in the morning and he can squeeze me in at the end of a long day later that day.
I'm not super handy and it's nice to have things explained to me in a way that's easy to understand and not feel like I'm being talked down to. After watching him replace the outlet, I probably could have replaced it myself but I wouldn't have known about the tape to help insulate the outlet inside the junction box. I appreciate Jesse's expertise and professionalism! Thank you, Jesse and Alpha Omega!

New to Brentwood and being a homeowner. We've got lots of projects to take care of but the one thing that had to get done ASAP was take down and replace a rather ugly (in my opinion anyway) ceiling fan that was in the center of our living room and replace it with a modern looking light fixture. It was so super important to get a reliable electrician since this is the center of our home and one of the first things you see when you walk in. Greg was very responsive from letting us know how to measure our ceiling height, to providing a bid and then scheduling an appointment.
The chandelier we chose was not an easy installation-not only was it going to hang from a high sloped ceiling, but it also had a complicated design. Greg arrived exactly on time during his appointment window and did an amazing job. As you can see from the pictures, making this piece look level and dealing with the way it hangs was not easy!
He also took a look at some other work we're considering but not ready for yet, which was truly above and beyond.
100% recommend him for your electric needs.

Rostislav and Vlad helped me with hanging a overhead garage storage rack. They were both very friendly and professional. It you are looking for a hardworking team you can count on them. In fact, I will hire them for future projects.

I hired Mark, who owns this business, to do about $2500 in electrical work. Though his hourly rate of $100/hr. was more than the average of $80/hr., I decided to hire him because of his immediate availability. He visited my home in person to give me an estimate. He took notes and explained what needed to be done. In fact, he tended to exaggerate the work that was needed and the difficulty. For example, he said that my existing plastic mounting boxes were fragile and should be replaced with metal ones. Then when he came to do the upgrades, he said that the plastic boxes were secure and did not replace them.... talking about bait & switch. Also, he used an assistant who's less experienced so the quality of work was probably not as good. Even with his assistant, he had difficulty threading wires such that he took twice as long as estimated for that task. He kept on complaining how he would be underpaid because it took longer. In fact, he used foul language many times such that I had to leave the room to avoid his moodiness. In regards to quality, he did not tighten a glass lampshade that he installed. Six months later, the glass lampshade fell off the ceiling and broke! Thank God I was not sitting under it 'cause there could have been major injuries and a subsequent lawsuit. Nevertheless, the lampshade set me back about $50. I recommend hiring another electrician because Mark's work is ok at best and definitely overpriced; I think I overpaid by at least $500.

I had Jesse fix the Internet wiring in my house. I also needed some new electric outlets so I could put the router etc. where I wanted it.
We encountered more problems with the old wires than Jessie and I had anticipated. He had to troubleshoot and fix just about all of them. Jesse took the time to do it right, and he was also very helpful with some old light switches and he provided some good advice regarding indoor lighting that I plan to do myself. I will definitely use JMG again.

Had to install a Tesla Wall charger and Ivan offered the best quote after a quick visit, provided his recommendation, booked an install appointment. The entire process was smooth, prompt communication, showed on time and performed a quality work. A+service. Will hire Ivan again and will refer him to my friends as well.

I asked Brian to help me with an update of a property of ours' meters. Brian made this process easy to handle. He was polite, knowledgeable, and very professional. He was really easy to work with and he answered communications quickly. He was fast at getting this project completed and his pricing very fair. He was a great help and he will be our go to electrician. Highly recommended.

Seems I am the first one writing reviews for Mega Power. They actually had more reviews for the LA branch. I read those reviews and I can tell that Gary really cares about his reputation.
OK, my story. I was thinking of installing solar in early 2022, after learning NEM 3.0 in California would be delayed indefinitely. I started my journey with energysage.com, and got quotes from 6 local installers, including Mega Power Electric Inc. I've also reached out to SunPower, and left my contact at Sunrun in Costco. I finally decided to work with Mega Power for these reasons: 1. many positive reviews; 2. their price is very competitive; 3. I work directly with the owner German (Gary), who actually does the job. No sales; no project managers. While those sales people are nice and professional, the process is just as as efficient as talking directly with Gary. Mega Power does everything very fast. Gary came to our house and took some pictures; went back and shared his initial plan; we wanted two additional panels; Gary revised the plan (within 24 hours). One or two weeks later, Gary and his people were on my roof. Installation of 24 panels was done within one day. City inspector initially had questions about the ground wire. Gary and his team came back another time, and finished #4 ground wire upgrade within a couple of hours. Passed city inspection. Getting approvals from PG&E (final step) was a long story. Gary and Mega Power did whatever they could to help and I appreciate that. Overall experience with Mega Power was quite positive. Definitely recommend Mega Power for their efficiency, work quality, and communication. Additional data points I would like to share: while Gary and his team worked on installation, I was busy filing complaints with another company for their no show activity in the very first scheduled meeting. Oh, my wife and I already recommended Mega Power to another lady. I probably should collect some referral fee from Gary.

Very glad that we found Tyler through Yelp! Right from the start, he was hyper responsive, which I really appreciated. He worked very quickly and efficiently to install a light fixture in my home office. Would hire him again for sure!

The company had a special promotion on tuning up your furnace with a 21 point inspection and inspecting your heating ducts for $88. I called and made an appt with Service Champions and they assigned Rich Sanders to do the service call. Very punctual and will contact you before arriving to update you his status. Upon arrival, wore booties before entering the house and went straight to work checking and cleaning the heater furnace. Very pleasant technician made the whole service call comfortable. Although he wasn't able to do all the diagnostic checks and cleaning of the furnace as stated in their promotion advertisement, but it's no fault of his since my gas heater furnace is quite old, but functional. Afterwards, he went up to the attic to inspect my heating ducts.
The tune-up special is not a gimmick and they will perform all the safety check, but for older furnaces, they will find inefficient parts/areas that will advise you to consider replacing with newer efficient furnaces and/or heating ducts that show signs of leaking air on the connections seams.
Rich is a stand up guy and he won't up-sell you anything you don't need. But he did advise me to set an appt. with someone from their company to do an estimate for a new gas furnace and/or heating ducts on another day. Before he leaves, he will call someone in the office to set up an estimate for an estimate to come to your house to estimate a new furnace and heating ducts.
Also be informed that they will present to you an opportunity to join their value customer membership that offers you a discount on repairs and and/or parts and a free annual safety check on your furnace and some other benefits all for approx. $10 a month, with the first month free as a trail period. I guess the company trains all their field technicians to offer this membership to all their house call visits to their customers.
This is the extent of my experience with Service Champions. If you have an older furnace that hasn't been cleaned or tuned-up for a long time, maybe you should consider a tune-up and/or safety check, as long as you don't mind the pitch of joining their valuable service membership afterwards.

Ivo was quick to respond and super knowledgeable. He was helpful in providing me options and communicating clearly. Extremely trustworthy, as I could not be at the property while they were doing the installation I actually had them do the entire installation and testing without me there. They locked up behind themselves and did a great job sending pictures of the functioning light after installation. Only reason for 4 and not 5 stars was that the price seemed a little steep. Ended up paying $400 for a little less than an hour of work to install an $100 light. Compare that to earlier in the day, paid $150 to have a new dishwasher installed (and old one hauled away). I was in a bind, so I made it work - but I'd probably shop around a bit next time.

They are expensive, and they are worth it for complex work.
Each person who has showed up has been professional, on time, and good at communicating scope and cost of work. They seem to have pride in their company, and they will turn down certain jobs rather than take on something they think they can't do well (which is a pain sometimes).
Divine will estimate and bill some jobs at a fairly high flat rate per task, instead of billing by hours spent on the task. This can lead to large estimates for simple stuff like replacing light switches or fixtures. You may want to look elsewhere for handyman-level work, but use Divine when you need something complex done right and on time.

Very professional and reasonably priced. We had to go with another vendor because John was so busy, but would definitely recommend.

Wilson was prompt, knowledgeable and did good work. He gave a competitive bid to install an EV charge Point hard wired into box. Really nice guy. I'll definitely hire him again.

Sam was terrific helping me fix the issues created when we had a PG&E transformer blow up on our street. It blew out my garage door opener, my doorbell, 2 GFI outlets, my Keurig coffee machine, my Sonicare toothbrush and several other things in my house. Sam came in and quietly and efficiently fixed everything, and at a very reasonable price.
Thanks. Marilyn

Trust can be an issue when choosing an electrician. Jim is someone you can really trust. He knows his stuff, provides a fair and complete estimate of what it will take, and he shows up on time! He is everything you would expect from a professional Electrician.
Jim recently installed a Schneider Electric EV Charging station for my new Ford C-max plug-in Hybrid. He found a cost effective way to install the unit in a perfect location with a minimum of materials and wire pulls. I was impressed and it was done in a few hours! The install was perfect and I sure know who I'll call if I need electrical work again.
I don't think you will go wrong with Jim and Los Gatos Electric for your electrical needs.
