Schedule for my garage got moved up. Needed electrical for sub panel roughed in for inspection so we could pour concrete. I called Don, told him I had accepted his quote but had a schedule change. Don came out, checked job site and said he could start the next day.  They got the trenching done and conduit ran from main panel, under house, out to trench and stub up thru garage floor. Got my inspection and approval in time to meet schedule. Don and his crew were courteous and professional. Jacob could not have worked harder to help meet schedule.
This is the third time I used Main Stream Electric and I have been happy every time.

Juan was very professional, quick to respond to get out to our home, and gave a very helpful assessment of services he could offer to help with our tricky electrical upgrade. I am definitely using them again!

Well it was 3 years since I worked Greg, I called back then, he was on Vacation in Hawaii, and was able to take of my issue via phone. Didn't cost me a dime.
Called again with electrical outlet problems since I moved in to my home, always suspected the previous resident had done some do it yourself repairs (very amateur)
Anyway, got an appointment setup within 1 day. Greg and Jared arrived, after the greeting with our dog, they went right to work. Have to say their troubleshooting expertise is impressive. Quickly moving on to the next step to solve the problem, I watched Greg & Jared work together like a symphony. 2 hours later, all fixed. His prices are very reasonable. You can't go wrong if you call Greg's Electric.

I needed a TV Mount to be installed, along with bike racks, curtain rods and fixing the toilet flush tank.

Rostislav and Vlad were very professional and did a great job with all the installations. They were on time and completed the work as promised. The TV mount installation took longer than promised but they did not charge me for the extra time.

We own a very old home (1880) near downtown Livermore.  It is a rental home, and while we want to keep it presentable, we don't want to invest much in it.

The other day, some of the electrical failed in the home.  After trying my handyman's best, I couldn't resolve the problem.  So, I reluctantly started the search for an electrician.  I was dreading the arrival of someone who knew little about what they were doing, and the ultimate ridiculously high bill for an iffy fix.  I have been down this path.  I ended up reaching out to Mark of Precision Electric, and he wrote a different ending for me.

First, he was relaxed but professional on the phone.  Next, he found a way to finish up his other work and get to our place the same day.  He told me the minimum charge for working the issue (after he asked me a few questions to explain it),  He contacted us while heading to the place.  He showed up on time.  He found the issue quickly, fixed it well, and cleaned up any mess.  He charged us only the minimum, which was quite fair.

I now know who I will call with any other electrical work in this or any other home.  I recommend Mark for your residential electrical needs.

Jesse came on time to replace our old main breaker box. He did a good job and also helped us replace several broken outlets for free!!!

He is kind and professional, will definitely consider hiring him again.

From start to finish, from estimate to project completion, Ivan was the consummate professional.  He was always quick to respond to my questions and concerns.
He is friendly and extremely knowledgeable. His work is absolutely first class. No detail was overlooked, no matter how small.  I have a 100 year old house and have dealt with many, MANY contractors in the past and no one has been as pleasant to work with as Ivan. His goal is not just to complete the job, but to ensure that you are happy with the job.

Seems I am the first one writing reviews for Mega Power.  They actually had more reviews for the LA branch.  I read those reviews and I can tell that Gary really cares about his reputation.

OK, my story.  I was thinking of installing solar in early 2022, after learning NEM 3.0 in California would be delayed indefinitely.  I started my journey with energysage.com, and got quotes from 6 local installers, including Mega Power Electric Inc.  I've also reached out to SunPower, and left my contact at Sunrun in Costco.  I finally decided to work with Mega Power for these reasons: 1. many positive reviews; 2. their price is very competitive; 3. I work directly with the owner German (Gary), who actually does the job.  No sales; no project managers.  While those sales people are nice and professional, the process is just as as efficient as talking directly with Gary.  Mega Power does everything very fast.  Gary came to our house and took some pictures; went back and shared his initial plan; we wanted two additional panels; Gary revised the plan (within 24 hours).  One or two weeks later, Gary and his people were on my roof.  Installation of 24 panels was done within one day.  City inspector initially had questions about the ground wire.  Gary and his team came back another time, and finished #4 ground wire upgrade within a couple of hours.  Passed city inspection.  Getting approvals from PG&E (final step) was a long story.  Gary and Mega Power did whatever they could to help and I appreciate that.  Overall experience with Mega Power was quite positive.  Definitely recommend Mega Power for their efficiency, work quality, and communication.  Additional data points I would like to share: while Gary and his team worked on installation, I was busy filing complaints with another company for their no show activity in the very first scheduled meeting. Oh, my wife and I already recommended Mega Power to another lady.  I probably should collect some referral fee from Gary.

I had them come to my home today to do some work. They were prompt and got the job done quickly. I know it wasn't cheap but it was reasonable. I have paid much more for other electricians in the area. Highly recommend Al Smith Electric.

We hired Natalie to mount and install a flat-screen TV and some speakers on a newly-installed entertainment center. She was never anything less than prompt, accommodating and attentive, and her work exceeded all our expectations. We'd be thrilled to recommend her to anyone who needs electrical work.

Tyler was punctual, professional, straight forward, efficient, and reasonably priced. We needed wiring to complete our car electric super charger installation that our new home construction builder failed to complete. We will recommend him and use him again when other projects arise.

Be-aware of this company!, They promise you a lot and do not delivery it, I had one of the nightmare with these people, they charged me $89/- and the first Tech guy just climbed up and with in 30 secs came down and asked me to change my motor, (I PAID THIS AMOUNT SO HE CAN DETECT ANY FAULTS WHICH HE FAILED TOO, ACTUALLY THE ISSUE WAS IN COMPRESSOR AND NOT THE FURNACE) when agreed to go for it he recommended its better to have the system changed so they can service us for next 10  to 15 years with 10 years of warranty, then comes the second Tech who uses his charms and sets us up for the system change and assures us all will be fine also quotes us that he can beat any market price as his price is the lowest, and quotes 7k for the system, after two days the third and fouth tech comes way before the appointment time and pesters us to open the door, (inspite we had requested a certain time during the covid period)
In July/August you need an AC and not a Furnace, they changed my furnace and demanded 9k more to replace my AC, this is how they rip you, and we consider them as a locals to give business, but just to replace my Ac I had to talk to almost 9 different Tech, this it self shows how PROFESSIONAL are these scammers are.

It's still in dispute and when produced several quotes cheaper than them they went back on their word of matching the price, also I had three days to cancel the deal which I did, and they were to come and pick up there stuff installed, which never happened. and now they have put a lien on my home,
Sure I will fight this off.

First appointment, they called 15 minutes after the plumber was scheduled to be here to say he wouldn't be coming due to a family emergency. Okay, no problem. Next appointment, no show, no call. I call them, they don't know what's going on. Will have dispatch call me. No call from dispatch. 90 minutes later the plumber calls and says he's on his way. I told him to forget it, I didn't have the time anymore. Disappointing.

Ryan was amazing. I asked for a referral and he hit me up immediately. Was able to come the follow day first thing in the morning. I needed a disposal and faucet replaced and a clog undone. He was very professional and wanted to do everything 100% correct. He spent a lot of time and got everything done. I will for sure be calling him back to do more things. Highly recommend. A++++.

These guys are professional, on time and do it right. We had them do a bunch of various things from installing lights in the ceilings and exterior lights where there were none and running electrical power here and there.

They guys John had at my job did a great job, were helpful and courteous.

I felt like I got extremely good service from them and the price was very fair.

If you live within reach of Santa Cruz, make certain, these guys are included in the list of people you get quotes from. If their price is ANYWHERE close. I'd recommend using them.

Wilson was prompt, knowledgeable and did good work. He gave a competitive bid to install an EV charge Point hard wired into box. Really nice guy. I'll definitely hire him again.

Sam was terrific helping me fix the issues created when we had a PG&E transformer blow up on  our street. It blew out my garage door opener, my doorbell, 2 GFI outlets, my Keurig coffee machine, my Sonicare toothbrush and several other things in my house.  Sam came in and quietly and efficiently fixed everything, and at a very reasonable price.

Should've listened to the negative reviews but sadly, I thought the 5 star ones might be legit. Now I'm wondering if they're written by friends. After signing contract and having the most difficult time getting a reply from Jim (he seriously LAGS after he gets your the initial deposit in hand), he finally did some work. UNFORTUNATELY, this man does NOT do honest work nor operate in good faith. Work seemed legit when he asks for payment and only after very close inspection and actual use, we realized that was not done correctly and stopped working quickly after he left, impossible to reach or get Jim to come back out afterwards to fix the job. He completely flat out refused and we were stuck hiring someone else from scratch. This company is a fraud. Use at your own risk.
