As an ex-contractor I have to admit to being picky, quick to judge, even over involved, whenever I hire someone other than myself to do a job.

So it is with real admiration and gratitude that I give five stars to Alpha Omega Electric. From the first call to the completed job it was pro all the way.

It was a job that had languished due to two previous failure to launch bids. Alpha Omega took the call, showed up on time THE NEXT DAY, made a clear and e-friendly (total on-line savy with this crew) bid, and on the job the next week, done in one day- form disconnect to finished service upgrade. Wow. E-mail docs for every step. Very satisfied costumer.

Greg's Electrical Is Outstanding
Today, Greg and another electrician Put in  a Schneider Homeline Square D Electrical Panel. Breakers and Surge protector. They did an excellent professional  job. Greg's Electrical Co. is the best I have ever found. I highly recommend them.

With numerous 5-Star reviews, I'm surprised at the 'non'-service received in our experience.  Called JMG and spoke with a nice gentleman who scheduled a 9am Thursday appointment for us.  

Per request, I then texted JMG our address and left a voicemail with our address for the Thursday appointment.  

Thursday morning comes and goes.  No show, no calls, no cancellations.  No one at JMG picked up the phone at 9:20am.

If the job is too small, or too inconvenient, let us know.  Please do not schedule an appointment and not show up (and not call to cancel).  We, like most people, made arrangements to make sure we'd be home for the appointment.  A quick text to cancel would have been appreciated.

Ivan replaced my old electrical subpanel. Previous one was too old. Ivan explained me the options, caveats and mandatory/optional things to do. After discussion with him I had a clear picture of the project's scope. He provided a quote in a timely manner, completed the project within discussed timeframe and left the job site clean.  Picture of the project attached. I would definitely recommend him to a friend.

Excellent service from Brian. Saturday morning, half the power in our home was out and we were desperate for help. Brian was the first to respond that he was available and came out within the hour. No other electricians were able to come out. He was professional, identified the problem, explained everything, resolved the issue quickly and the price was reasonable. Seems I am the first one writing reviews for Mega Power.  They actually had more reviews for the LA branch.  I read those reviews and I can tell that Gary really cares about his reputation.

OK, my story.  I was thinking of installing solar in early 2022, after learning NEM 3.0 in California would be delayed indefinitely.  I started my journey with energysage.com, and got quotes from 6 local installers, including Mega Power Electric Inc.  I've also reached out to SunPower, and left my contact at Sunrun in Costco.  I finally decided to work with Mega Power for these reasons: 1. many positive reviews; 2. their price is very competitive; 3. I work directly with the owner German (Gary), who actually does the job.  No sales; no project managers.  While those sales people are nice and professional, the process is just as as efficient as talking directly with Gary.  Mega Power does everything very fast.  Gary came to our house and took some pictures; went back and shared his initial plan; we wanted two additional panels; Gary revised the plan (within 24 hours).  One or two weeks later, Gary and his people were on my roof.  Installation of 24 panels was done within one day.  City inspector initially had questions about the ground wire.  Gary and his team came back another time, and finished #4 ground wire upgrade within a couple of hours.  Passed city inspection.  Getting approvals from PG&E (final step) was a long story.  Gary and Mega Power did whatever they could to help and I appreciate that.  Overall experience with Mega Power was quite positive.  Definitely recommend Mega Power for their efficiency, work quality, and communication.  Additional data points I would like to share: while Gary and his team worked on installation, I was busy filing complaints with another company for their no show activity in the very first scheduled meeting. Oh, my wife and I already recommended Mega Power to another lady.  I probably should collect some referral fee from Gary.

Thank you for patiently explaining the electrical problem in a way that made it understandable. Thank you for coming on such short notice. Thank you for not charging me an arm & a leg for great service. I would recommend Al Smith Electric in a heartbeat!

Bene Electric gave me a quote promptly after I reached out.  He guided us through the entire process if installing recessed lighting inside the house.  The work was started just a few days from when he gave us an estimate, showed up on time, did the job in the time line provided during the estimate and did a great job.  We love the lighting - it transformed the look of the house.  His suggestions to make some minor changes went a long way to improve the house.  Great job!

This is now the 4th time i have used Sam aka Alpha General Electric.  He is so concientious and diligent with his work. He is extremely versatile in his skills and being able to handle unusual installations and repairs. Here are some of the unusual projects we have done....

Our home was built in the 70's and has the original electric panels.  As a safety precaution, we had Jim check it out.  Jim was very understanding and was easy to work with.  He was very knowledgeable and what he didn't know he was not afraid to say.  He did tons of research before coming to us with the best solution.  We felt comfortable enough for him to do the upgrade while we were away.
