I recently had a sewage ejector pump fail that caused a major backup at my home in Boulder Creek that required quick action to resolve.
Jim was quick to respond, and correctly identified the root cause of my problem. Jim worked with me to find a work address the overflow issue and was able to replace the ejector pump in less than 24 hours from when I called him.
Not only did Jim fix my problem quickly, he was honest on time and materials.

I recently called Mike again for some plumbing issues I had with my sink. He was available within the hour and resolved the clogging issue instantly. He even showed me the problem and how to fix it on my own the next time it happens. I appreciate his quick service and quality job. I consider him a friend and a great business owner. He really takes pride in his work and always leaves his customers satisfied.

Super Helpful. I called The Plumbing company at 7:00 in the evening because I heard a sound coming from my toilet. Ugh they were clogged and plunging them didn't help. I spoke to a very helpful woman that was ready to send some one out. She did tell me that there would be an after hours charge but would be happy to send someone if need be. I opted to wait till to morning as she said she could send someone first thing. In looking at my schedule I found that I couldn't be available till noon. The Plumbing Company was more than happy to work with our schedule. BIG bonus points for that. Thanks. As for the service they lived up to all our expectations and like true pro's there were quick to figure out the issue and get it resolved.

We had to get hammock chair fixed indoors on my ceiling for my kid. I reached out to Nikolai, he was very responsive. Showed up and was able to get the job done on time and professionally. I'm planning to call him back for some other work at home as well.

I was charged by not only the hourly rate the company was agreed originally, but also additional charge (hidden fee that I wasn't informed when I first called for a quote/rate). I was told about that extra charge only after the plumber started working on my home.  The reason that the company was given for the hidden charge was because the extra equipment usage. I ended up paying double the price I was first told. I would not recommend anyone to use this company.

Steve is just amazing!  He came out the day I called after he had completed a whole days work.   A simple clog turned out to more than that,  but Steve handled it with grace and ease.   He is most definitely better than the rest!!

I can't say enough positive things about Avalon. I contacted three plumbing companies and each provided an estimate. I decided to go with Avalon and I am so glad that I did.  They are honest, fair and have great customer service (they answered all of my annoying questions).  The team that was sent out replaced a collapsed sewer line for us, they were very professional and great to work with.  The work was of high quality and they did a great job of cleaning up.  The actual cost was on target with the estimate, no hidden costs!  From here on out they will be our go-to plumbing company.

We had what we thought was a clogged/backed up bathroom, after trying to fix it ourselves we realized it was a bigger problem. Began calling plumbers around town as it was late in the evening. The following morning we received a call from Matt, he asked what the problem was. He then said he could come in the afternoon. He showed up earlier than anticipated, wore a face mask and shoe covers to enter our home. Assessed our toilets and then said it wasn't our toilets but the line from the city. He said we could call the city to get it fixed, or he could fix it with a snake, we were worried about how long the city would take so we had Matt fix it. Turns out there's a big tree on our sidewalk that had some roots coming into our sewage line, and it was affecting our home's plumbing. Matt was prompt to fix the issue, under an hour and charged a reasonable price! Out of the plumbing companies we called, he was the only one to say I will be there without hesitation and get the job done. Definitely keeping his contact number handy!

We moved into our new home and didn't have any hot water coming out of our shower. After reading all the terrible reviews about the company that our home warranty recommended, I decided to contact American Home Plumbing Service instead and I am so happy that I did!

I requested a quote and he returned my call within 20 minutes. Right off the bat, he knew we needed a new cartridge. He came by our place within a few hours and confirmed this was the issue. He texted me the exact part we needed and came back the same day to install it (and in record time!)

I can't express how thrilled I am to have found Raheb. He was professional and courteous (and took his shoes off without me asking!) I would not hesitate to recommend him on every level.

Lateral clogged Friday afternoon. Talked to Amy at 2:45 (very nice woman), Oly -- very friendly-- came at 3:15 on a Friday, ran the snake three times and fixed the problem! $120. Everything professional and well done. Highly recommend.

Exec summary: There guys are great, professional, workmanship is excellent, and they work had. Are they cheep? Some people would say no, my thinking is that major plumbing jobs are not an area you want to revisit in the future, pay up now so you don't have to deal with it again later.

Lets face it, finding a really good plumber, electrician, roofer, etc is a bit of a cr&p shoot. Most of us don't know what 'good' is and a lot of them are not that good. I am an avid DIY'r and can spend hours on the smallest thing making it perfect (for me), I also know my limitations, so when I hire someone to do a job it have better be perfect. I am not going to pay someone for poor professionalism, dodgy workmanship, wasting time, etc.
I discover that I needed my pressure reducing valve and house shut off valve replaced as both were completely worn out. My house pressure was 120PSI, it should be around 80PSI, and I couldn't completely turn off the house main (found that out while replacing a shutoff to a toilet). This is one of those jobs where failure would be a problem, so I need help.
Savior was recommended to me by my fixture guy, usually a good sign. I called them, set up a time (8:30am). At 8am Tom called and said he had an emergency and asked if I would mind waiting until 10:30am, small hassle, but my situation could wait a few hours, and he did give me the option of saying yes I would mind'. Tom called me as soon as he was leaving his emergency job so I would know when he would arrive, (professionalism). As it turns out the the emergency was a busted in the home, if the situations were reversed I know I could count on Tom to get out here and fix it ASAP.
Tom got right down to business, he looked at both valves and also noticed the leaking irrigation valve, something I was going to fix but only saw the day before. Anyway, he told me what he parts he needed, explained what he wanted to do, and gave me options of the cheep way to fix it or the more expensive right way to do it. I know enough to know that the cheep way would work but if I was doing it I would spend the extra and do it the right way, my preference. So he had his apprentice excavate the area while he went and got the parts. His apprentice, wish I could remember his name  (Sam maybe), worked hard, he had excavated the area, which I know was difficult because I started it earlier in the week and it took me an hour to make a hole a quarter of the size, he finished the entire thing in 45 minutes. He then cut the main line back to a point where it was now straight and not crushed like it was before, removed the old copper piping, valves, and irrigation valve, and prepared it all for soldering (didn't waste a minute). Sam came back with the parts they dry fitted it all and soldered it into place. They also added a new sprinkler shutoff, adjusted the water pressure, and cleaned up the entire job site (professionalism). I took a look at the results, and it looks great joints are tight, soldering looks great (workmanship), and the reconfiguration makes it much easier to shut off the water to the house and the sprinklers. Oh, Tom also gave me a 20yr warranty, these guys stand by their work.
So why 4 stars? They are probably a 5 star, I will absolutely be using them again. I will update after the tankless hot water system goes in.
