I appreciated the fast and professional work by Xtreme Plumbing. Our company needed to have a valve installed for a new fridge right away. I called their company in the late afternoon, was greeted with friendly service, and they were able to send someone out the next morning. Their pricing was very reasonable and the work was done within an hour.

Needed a new water fountain installed at our business and not only did Jason help me find a great deal on it but got the work done fast and painless. He worked around our members and busy facility with ease. There were a few issues the Jason took the time to examine prior to starting the job and because of his preparation he was well prepared to get things done in an efficient manner. I called 2 plumbers (my mistake, not Allstate) on New Year's Eve before noon who are in my neighborhood and Yelp'd well. NYE is not a holiday, but many people knock off early. I get that. Neither responded making me think maybe this is a 'thing' with plumbers. Fortunately I'm persistent.

I figured plumbers would be closed New Years, so not too surprised the other 2 didn't call.
Called them both again on Saturday around 1:30p. Left messages. Never got a call back. I've left corresponding reviews for them both.

The fact that I had a significant leak (about 0.5gal/hr) and requested in my messages at least acknowledgement of my call didn't gain me anything.

While waiting for the never-going-to-happen call backs, I did another Yelp search focusing on highest rated. Allstate came up.

Within 15min of leaving a message at Allstate, I got a call back, and I had guys at my house 1.5hrs later. My faith in plumbers has been restored, and this shows some plumbers understand business.

The price was a bit more than I expected, but this wasn't something I've ever done before. It took the guys a little over 2 hours to fix my problem (including needing to leave to buy parts they didn't have on the truck) so clearly I had underestimated the level of difficulty. They reduced the price with a Yelp coupon I didn't know about only further improving my opinion of their business ethic and concern for customers.

I have a few other minor plumbing issues I'd like fixed and also need to re-pipe my house one of these days (with PEX I think), but I don't think I need to do any more searching. I've found a good plumber :)

And explanation step by step of what they were going to do. They had to cut up our walls to change some pipes and other things to fix the problem. And were very neat about everything. Reached out to LM plumbing for installation of a tankless gas water heater. They told me that they do not install tankless water heaters.

Steve just left my home a few minutes ago and I would recommend him to any and all for plumbing issues.  Let me start at the beginning---a few months ago.  The faucet in my laundry room developed a leak.  It wasn't a leak, it was more like a gusher.  Asked husband for help; which never came so I decided to do the next best thing.  I wrapped up a new faucet as a Christmas present.  It sat on the end table for a long time.  I finally asked him if he was going to be able to install it for me.  His answer was that he probably didn't have the right tools for the job and to go ahead and get someone in to do it for you.  So, I looked at all the Yelp reviews and called someone (not AWP) and left a voice message.    I even sent a request through their online contact information.  I waited and I waited and I waited (7 days).  I called back again and again got voice mail and this time I politely requested that if they could not do the job to at least please call me back and let me know so I could find someone else.  Guess what, I'm still waiting for that call.   I gave them 2 more days for a response and then I called AWP!  To me there is such a thing as common courtesy.  Don't tell me that someone couldn't have called and told me that they were too busy, didn't have the manpower or bandwidth to help me.  

When I called Alfred Williams Plumbing--first thing, I didn't get a voice mail; I talked to someone directly.  They said I would have a call back within 15 minutes.  It wasn't 15 minutes it was more like 2 minutes!  I explained what I thought (notice  the word thought) I needed and also asked about my dishwasher.  Steve explained I really needed an appliance repair person for my dishwasher problem.  So, he gave me the name and number of his go-to person.  I will be calling them soon.

We set up an appointment for today (Wednesday) between the hours of 12-1.  I was
delighted to have him show up at my door about 11:25 AM.  I took him back to my laundry room and showed him what I thought (again that word) was wrong and that I had a replacement faucet which I purchased at OSH.  Steve gets to work and once he has removed the old faucet he realized that the new one wouldn't work.  I thought I was doomed.  Not so fast---I still had the part that I had taken over to the hardware store.  So, I gave it to him and lo-and-behold, he just replaced a rubber gasket.  Which, by-the-way, I had asked the clerk in the plumbing department at OSH if it was possible to do.  He advised me nope; easier to replace the faucet.  

So, if it weren't for Steve and his plumbing knowledge and repair capabilities, I would probably still be without a working sink.  He was efficient, took great care with his work and I was delighted with the cost.  We have cats and he took care to make sure that they didn't escape out the front door when he had to go out to his truck.

Steve did a great job; he explained things to me so that I understood the problem and the solution and he tested the faucet several times before he finally signed off on the job and left my house.

I recommend these folks highly and now I know whom to call when I need a plumber.  

I am sorry that this is such a long review but I wanted people to know the steps I had to go through before I found AWP.

He fixed our electrical problem over the phone without a visit and without charging. We have knob and tube wiring and one of our lights was flickering. I checked the fixture and the wiring in the attic and could not find a short or other problem. With a series of questions he narrowed the issue down to something that I could handle. He is a font of practical wisdom. I will use him for all of our problems going forward.

Avalon Services is our go-to company for all plumbing related issues.  Will and his crew came through for us when our water main broke recently and he has also worked on our water heater and external hose bib in the past.  

We called them frantically in the morning and they were out the same afternoon to determine what the problem was.  Within 24hours they had us back up and running!  They had to dig about 120 feet of trench (through poison oak and underbrush on a hillside) from the meter to the house and suggested adding a spigot at the halfway point in the line to make it easier for us to water the garden.

We bought some new faucets and a garbage disposal and after looking at the  installation instructions, decided to turn to the professionals!  Aaron came to our house within a couple of hours of our call, and had all three items installed within a couple of hours. He was very friendly, very knowledgeable, and we will call this company again for any plumbing needs.

The Powder Room is the best place to go for Kitchen & Bath plumbing needs in the bay area. We recently had a problem with our shower fixture. We were told by other stores to replace it with a new fixture, since our current fixture was made by a company that had gone out of business.  Kathy and John helped us pick out a replacement fixture, but they also encourage us to review options to fix the current fixture. With John's coaching, we were able find an industry standard part to fix our current fixture. This saved us money as well as help keep our current bathroom design intact. They have an incredible network of suppliers that allow them to get products quickly. What separates them from other similar businesses is the in-depth knowledge and amazing service of Kathy and John. I would highly recommend them for your Kitchen and Bath plumbing needs. Thomas B

Our toilet in 2nd floor leaked and showed up in 1st floor ceiling. Raheb responded quickly and showed up with Alan. They found out the sewage drain under the toilet is broken, and fixed it quickly. They also did other fix in the house, and answered my questions patiently.

Came out when they said they would, did a great job, charged a fair price.

Bought $70 worth of plumbing supplies at 1 pm on Saturday afternoon an hour later I return these off the shelf items and they charged me a 25% return charge.    What da heck!  25%!    Last time I will ever purchase anything from these folks.

I had a great experience with this company. They  went out of their way to get a plumber to me at a time that worked for me and was very short notice. Everyone was exceptionally friendly and reliable especially the lady who answered the phone (I think her name was Tonya) and Sam, the plumber who came to help. They called me back when they said they would, appointments were kept at the times they set them for, ETAs were accurate, the work itself was done in an efficient and dependable manner.
