Best Plumbing Services in California
James came out to fix our water heater. Turned out we might have to replace the whole unit since it's still under warranty. He talked over all of our options, offered advice, clearly had a huge amount of experience and knowledge AND at the end of the day he didn't even charge us for his time. We will definitely call James when it comes time for installation.

I'm a bit disappointed in them. They did an ok job installing a water heater a few years ago. However, I've contacted them twice since then because of some problems with the water heater, and also for potential new works. They did not respond either time.

We had a serious clog in the bathroom drain. It laughed at our efforts to remove it. I saw Ameer was available on the weekend, sent a message, and got a response fast. He came out within the time frame given, cleared the drain, and made sure everything worked in less than 45 minutes. Exactly what we needed. Good service, good business. Happily recommended.

Stay Away, not honest, and ripping off!
I called The Plumbing company last Thursday when my water heater broke and I could not turn on the pilot. A welcoming rep took the call, and I asked about their service. She said they can have a service man coming to our house.
The first red flag, not giving diagnostic fee info on the phone: I asked the rep whether there is any diagnostic fee, she said there is NO fee, and a quote will be provided when the service man arrives. The service man arrived later in the day, and indeed called in advance of coming. After minutes of arrival, he said there is $179 diagnostic fee! I said, the call rep did not talk about this, he said, well, there is a fee if we are coming! I said, you could be transparent, etc. Nevertheless, we negotiated the diagnostic fee down to $80.
The Next red flag: quoting a high repair bill pattern: He tried to turn the pilot, it failed. He said, with a high probability, is thermocouple. And, the cost to replace it is $409 (labor). I said, this is too high, how much is the parts, he said this is not about parts, it's the labor that is expensive. And, if I replaced the thermocouple, and it's not it, and it's your gas valve, the replacement charge for this is $510 + parts. I declined any repair, and he left with $80 of diagnostic fee!
Then, I went to the internet, and did a bit of research on Thermocouple, and noticed that he even did not do a good diagnostic job, others in the videos make certain that this is the faulty part by actually measuring the voltage, etc.
After a bit of research, I found that is a pattern in this industry to just come to service call, collect diagnostic fee, provide high quotes, customer declines, and they move to the next diagnostic job! A complete rip-off.
Another issue is that I found later that my water heater has been under warranty. And, finally, I had a service man contracted with the manufacturer to replace the parts, and fix the issue for only $225 (labor + free parts from the manufacturer). And, I found this issue indeed by a 3rd service man from another company that I called on the same day, and he came to our house, he pointed this out, and asked me to call the manufacturer. He indeed did not charge me at all! and he said I better go the manufacturer route. This new service man indeed gave me hope that there are still good guys in the market, while the service man from the Pluming Company did not let me know about this, at all, even though charged me $80 diagnostic fee, as well.
So, I had a really bad experience with this company, and the method they want to make money out of customers! Not being transparent, quoting high to just collect the diagnostic fees quickly, no proper diagnostic, and not explaining the options including any warranty coverage, etc. Stay away, if you can!

Literally came over to my parents Julie past 9pm on Memorial Day weekend to help us move a fridge. It was one of those urgent and important tasks and it was awesome to get his response asap and have the whole situation resolved in an hour. Thank you!

Called Allstate on a recent Sunday morning for a line backup affecting the whole house. The response was both prompt and courteous, and we can't say enough kind things about the service we received from Miguel. He worked very hard to clean the lines, pointed out a small leak in a line connecting the toilet to water supply, and then cleaned his work area in both bathrooms better than the bathrooms had been cleaned before. The service isn't particularly cheap, but good service is worth paying for. No question we'll use Allstate the next time we need a plumber. Thanks, Miguel!

We have an older house in Sunnyvale. A couple of weeks ago we started having sewage back ups in our home. I called Master Plumbing to come and take a look at the situation. A very nice man by the name of Jake was at our door to survey the situation. Jake was very knowledgeable and recommended to us that we needed a new clean out to help him with the blockage. Then he suggested to remove the toilet to remove the blockage for us, and we can get an estimate later for the new clean out. Thanks to Jakes quick thinking we were up and running in a couple of hours. My family so very thankful and appreciated of Jakes professional attitude that we would recommend him to all are neighbors and friends. Thanks again Jake!!!!#

Luis is prompt and professional. He diagnosed multiple drain issues for me and suggested a few things that will avoid future problems. I would recommend him for any plumbing-related issues. I also wanted my water heater flushed, Luis examined the unit and recognized it as possibly being part of a recall. I will call him back once I contact the manufacturer and confirm. All in all, 5 stars for LM Plumbing and Luis.

I found Alfred Williams plumbing on Angie's list. I called many other plumbers first to have them come out to clear a blocked drain in my tenants home. Other highly rated plumber charged between $!25 and $175 just to come out. Another charged a $250 flat rate for drain clearing. None could come within a 2 day window. Then I found Alfred Williams! They charge no base fee to come out. In addition, they could come out that day. It turned out that the tenant simply did not know how to disengage the bathtub drain, and there was no blockage at all. Steve was very pleasant about the whole thing, and we agreed on a very nominal fee for his coming out. I just encountered another plumbing problem. Steve returned my phone call within 5 minutes and will be here tomorrow. I recommend this company without hesitation!

We thought we had water leaks, so we contacted Noman right away. He responded quickly. He and his plumber are very knowledgeable and professional. They identified all possible issues and walked me through it patiently. I will recommend his service. Thanks!

Best part: Really smart and concise communication. This company would be great for an HOA big job because Will would probably explain to the HOA board well. I had called several plumbers before I talked to Will. He was the most communicative of all. He explained what my options were including the most comprehensive way to fix my water heater issues as well as several other options. So I chose an option and Juan was to come out the next day. He did and that went fine. They were both very professional. However there ended up being a mistake with the heater size that was picked up. There was some compensation after discussion for the inconvenience. Juan returned the next day with the right sized heater. The rate was priced for the job and it was for a special sized heater unit that was shorter than the average 40 gallon. 1750.00. According to my conversations I had with other plumbers, that is about right for a heater that did include the extras and an odd sized heater. I bought a pan for underneath too. And Juan did say he did something for me that was to do with the pipe and that was part of the package pricing / job price. That was nice. I would use and recommend in a heartbeat.

We went to Powder Room on Monday afternoon 30 minutes before closing time. The old man didn't seem to welcome me and my kids. His tone and physical gestures implied that me and my kids shouldn't come this late. Nevertheless, I tried to behave and talked to him nicely to let him know that I was a serious buyer. He did treated us nicer after I asked him for help. Overall, I would say I didn't feel like I was getting proper treatment from him. Maybe he had a bad day or maybe he wanted to claim his right to refuse service to any person for any reason.
I told him that my husband and I would come back the next day to make the final decision. He simply asked me who was buying? The pumper, the husband or you?
Whatever he meant, I decided not to come back to his store.

I contacted Rahib, the owner, and once I explained the situation, he made a thorough assessment on two potential issues related to the shower head not completely turning off. He provided a quote and was very professional. Once he came to the home he quickly identified the issue and replaced the cartridge in the shower lever. He ensured the area was clean when he left. In addition, he provided good recommendations related to a water softener system. Highly responsive, professional, excellent assessment and corrective action, personable, and fair pricing for services performed. Thank you, Rahib!!

Excellent!
I gave them a call.
They reply in one hours; we schedule to the next day; the technicians came one time, finished ASAP AND did a good job.
What more can you ask!

I have have always wanted to support locally owned businesses. This place shows that they do care about their clients by given me a return phone call in a timely manner even though it's the holiday weekend. In addition, they do know their stuff vs the other plumbers that I have talked to.

I have used Savior in the past and have been satisfied with their ability to handle simple jobs. However the last time I used them they were not up to the job and the result was extremely disappointing and expensive due to their inexperience. I cannot recommend them. Because of their plumbing service manager's unfamiliarity with Rohl shower valves it took three visits and much expense to find out that he was not able to complete the job. Had he admitted his unfamiliarity early on I would have hired someone with the necessary expertise and saved hundreds of dollars. In the end I had to use another company to finish what Savior could not. That plumber completed the job in less than 2 hours. Hallelujah!
Finally, their billing policy makes service calls more expensive than they should be. If a call extends just one or two minutes into the next half hour you are billed for the full half hour. That is especially annoying when the call extends into that half hour because the technician is writing his service notes and preparing the bill. I've never experienced any other contractor that padded their billing in that manner. .
