James is a very experienced plumber and a great guy.  I hired him to fix a leaking toilet that my usual plumber couldn't get right.  James had it taken care of in 30 minutes and did an overall inspection of my other facilities as well.  He explained everything in detail -- including his recommendations -- and encouraged me to watch him work so I could understand how my toilet worked.  I know that sounds less than thrilling, but as a fairly new homeowner, it was INVALUABLE.  I will never hire anybody else!

I had a major leaking problem this morning on my backyard, the Water flooded all the way to the front of the house and neighbor.

I called the company, the company assigned the Steven to my house within 20 minutes. Steven is so professional, He found the root cause very soon.

He began to dig and showed me the leaking pipe. The pipe was broken because of the pressure of tree root.

The repair cost is very reasonable, and most appreciation is Steven always keep my place clean.

The problem finally fixed.

Ameer was amazing him and his crew were fast and efficient. A job that was supposed to take all day they did in a half day. They were all friendly and was able to answer any questions that we had. They are definitely our go to plumber now. Thank you guys again.

The folk came out to my house and did the roto-rooter job on the main line. I was told that the blockage was due to tree roots and was charged $272.00. A week later, the line was backup again and I called back the comapny and was told that I have to pay $272-10% discount if I want them to come out again. If the clog was due to tree roots, how could it possible that the roots will grow back just within a week. Obviously, they did not do a good job the first time. Hell NO! will not reccommend.

We had to get hammock chair fixed indoors on my ceiling for my kid. I reached out to Nikolai, he was very responsive. Showed up and was able to get the job done on time and professionally. I'm planning to call him back for some other work at home as well.

I was charged by not only the hourly rate the company was agreed originally, but also additional charge (hidden fee that I wasn't informed when I first called for a quote/rate). I was told about that extra charge only after the plumber started working on my home.  The reason that the company was given for the hidden charge was because the extra equipment usage. I ended up paying double the price I was first told. I would not recommend anyone to use this company.

Jorge helped my out today with both my plumbing problems, my kitchen sink and my bath tub. He was quick, nice and clean in his work, he left no dirty spot behind! I recommend him, seems experienced for a good while in his line of work and can give you tips on how to avoid the problem next time.

I was referred to Alfred Williams Plumbing by Richard over at Nelson Plumbing in San Jose. They returned my call quickly and Steve came right on time as he specified in our conversation to my parent's house. Friendly and affordable. I was pleased by the job and was told they have a 4 day warranty if any issues come up. Also, received a $10 off card for the next service. We will use their services again if needed.

I just got off the phone with Norman. He emailed me and he called me twice. This second time I was able to answer the phone.  Norman had a huge wave of customers once Groupon put their deal for his services on their website.  However, there were issues with the Groupon deal with regards to the service areas advertised and other difficulties.  I won't go into the details here  --that's between Norman and Groupon.  He has given complete refunds to unsatisfied customers and Groupon holders.  Also, even though I received a refund from Groupon he offered to honor the deal of 2 hrs of handyman work for $39.  I'm not going to take him up on it b/c Groupon is refunding my money.

I found someone much more geographically closer to me to take care of my closet system installation and I told Norman I'm going with them for this project.  I will need help with dog and cat door installations so I will contact Norman about those when I need help.

Norman told me he's been in business for 40 years and he says he stands by his reputation. From what he told me he did find some new customers through Groupon who are really pleased with his work. He said he's not someone who would take advantage of customers.

Understand that in this economy people who've never once had to advertise their services or products have found the need to do so.  Groupon is one way to advertise.  Groupon has some really good deals but I've experienced purchasing service Groupons twice and had problems with them. I'm going to stick to restaurant deals or at least call the service company first before I purchase another service Groupon.

I would very much like to have Norman help me. I was impressed with the projects that were done and shown on the website.  I purchased a Groupon for $39 for 2 hours of handy man work.  I called the toll-free and the 650 area code phone numbers and left messages but no one has returned my calls. Today I was able to get a refund from Groupon.  It was time consuming to have to go through all of this.

I have a John Louis closet system which I would like to have installed in my closet. I can email a PDF of the instructions to the person that will work on this project for me.
Also, I will have other projects such as installing a dog door and a cat door.

If Norman would contact me I would be happy to discuss an estimate and scheduling.

I'm giving four stars because I want to give this business the benefit of the doubt.  I understand how busy handy man businesses and contractors can get. I don't want to say anything negative because I don't think it's fair to judge someone or their business just because we were not able to connect.  I will post an update if I still don't hear from them.

By the way, I live in East Palo Alto. I have experienced other contractors not contacting me back and I wonder if it might be because I live in EPA.  I've had at least a dozen contractors and handy men come to my house and they have never had any problems.  

For some reason I cannot access their website. It appears to have been shut down.  Or maybe it's a computer problem on my end?

Mr. Rabi is THE BEST!  We had a leak from our tub due to the overflow and it damaged our ceiling (the tub is on the 2nd floor). Raheb went out of his way to take care of us.  We were referred to Raheb by my cousin who also utilized his services for a pipe leak in their home.  Raheb is extremely knowledgeable in his field and he explained everything to us without being condescending or confusing. So my water heater had given up.  It started leaking and I was cleaning rust from my faucet every day.  I sent a message on Friday asking for help.  On Saturday 2 workmen showed up and  2 hours,  I had a new water heater.

Also good service. I have used Savior now 3 times for various work and each time prompt, professional. Dave came out this time to fix slow running hot water issue and explained and fixed the problem.
