Yes, James the plumber is great!  Local guy.  He has done my septic clogs for many years.  Very reliable.  I have had him come when nobody is home, do the job, leave a bill, I mail him a check. Of course he knows where I live! --------------------- [4/13/11:  He recently installed a new water heater and told me where to get one myself so I did not have to pay him to fetch it.  There was a very  minor problem with the installation and when I called him I told him no rush, anytime this week to fix it.  He was there the next day fussing and highly apologetic.  It was obvious that the imperfection bothered him more than it bothered me.]

Mike's a legit good guy. Gave him a first-world emergency ring at 7PM on a Wednesday with some fun back-flow out of our tubs and toilets. YUM!

He was there in a bit and identified the issue for us. Or at least so we all thought. Next time we try to do laundry, here comes the back-flow again. It seems we have something a lot more serious going on. Mike came out for free in the morning to look it over and let us know the deal.

We had a serious clog in the bathroom drain. It laughed at our efforts to remove it. I saw Ameer was available on the weekend, sent a message, and got a response fast. He came out within the time frame given, cleared the drain, and made sure everything worked in less than 45 minutes. Exactly what we needed. Good service, good business. Happily recommended.

We had to get hammock chair fixed indoors on my ceiling for my kid. I reached out to Nikolai, he was very responsive. Showed up and was able to get the job done on time and professionally. I'm planning to call him back for some other work at home as well.

I had them work on my water heater - came in and did the work. Two weeks later the same issue re-occurred on a Friday evening. When I called them, they said that they would charge me again - for their night & weekend rate - minimum $176!!! Since the alternative was to go without hot water for the whole weekend, I gave up and paid, but will NEVER use them again. Charging a repeat customer who has already spent 100's of dollars with you for the same service twice in a couple of weeks is just BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE. For the record, it took them 20 minutes to fix the problem the second time...

Finally, found a plumber in Tracy that operate his business with honesty, guaranteed workmanship, and efficient. I had three previous plumbers check
same leakage and unable to fix the problem.
LM Plumbing Technician asked me to purchase small disposal from Home Depot and rearranged dishwasher pipes. No more leakage!!!!!!!
In conclusion to summarize, honesty and knowledge is very important and many plumbers forgets to refine their skill

Norman and his crew at San Mateo Handyman did a great job handling a recent semi-urgent plumbing issue for us. They weren't phased dealing with our nearly eighty-year-old plumbing system, and were able to quickly and efficiently get our one-and-only shower running again. We called them because we hoped they would be able to be deal with the whole issue, including diagnosing and finding the leak, fixing the eighty-year-old pipes, and patching and repairing our lathe-and-plaster ceiling, and we weren't disappointed. We'll definitely keep them on our short list to call in the next semi-emergency (which likely will be sooner rather than later).

Will and his team were really exceptional and even though this was a job that threw some really difficult circumstances at them, they came through with great work and were friendly, communicative and professional throughout.

We had to replace a huge sewer lateral that wrapped halfway around the building with multiple turns.  It went under a nice finished concrete patio and he was able to sawcut just one clean hole to access the 90 degree under the patio.  I expected some cracks at the edges or some sawcut lines and there were none at the end.   He also had to take up an extremely old brickwork path and they carefully laid the same bricks back down at the end. It was like they were never there.  Totally exceeded my expectations.

We also had a schedule snafu that forced his crew to work on site at the same time as some electricians *and* another excavator and they couldn't use the driveway yet still everyone got along great and even my other contractors had kinds words about these guys at the end too.

Definitely exceeded expectations and I definitely recommend.

Matt has completed several plumbing installations and repairs on both our home and rental property. He and his assistant are quick to respond, keep their work space clean and do top notch work. We highly recommend them!

I called Scott to look at our plumbing as our sewer pump alarm was going off. He was able to come out same day and quickly discovered that both of our pumps were broken. He ordered new ones for us and fixed everything quickly. We have called for some other issues and he comes out quickly and does a good job. Great family owned local business.

This was the best experience with a plumber I've had. He came the same day, within the time window, fixed my garbage disposal in about 30 seconds, and wasn't going to charge me anything. I realize it was a quick fix but most plumbers charge for showing up even if they don't do anything.

These guys are great! Very reasonably priced (was quoted almost twice that elsewhere) and did a great job replacing a gas pipe and a hot water pipe that leaked. Friendly, professional and quick. Highly recommended!

Open on weekends? YES! So, when big corporate supply stores close on Saturdays at noon, and closed entirely on Sundays, A Street Plumbing, is open on weekends, what? Yeah, a huge help when I work on the weekends and customers need a water heater of great quality.
I always look to, A Street Plumbing, whenever I can when I'm in their area, as well as, when I'm not in the area. Just to get the job done that day for the customer. Instead of having to wait 1-2 days until Monday or Tuesday, due to holiday schedules, when big corps are closed for inventory, etc.
All employees have always been so very helpful. No issues ever. They all have gone out of their way, went above and beyond, what a customer can ask of a business worker. Even gone out their very own personal lives, to assist me in getting a specific plumbing part, an Assemby or a heater unit, I needed direly, to complete any of the jobs I've encountered that they've been my go to plumbing supply first.
I've referred customers or other workers of the trade, in going on by to, A Street Plumbing.

They are very reliable and quick.  I was very happy with their response time. We called 10 different companies but they were they only ones that made it happen.
