Asylbek gave me a very competitive rate and was able to squeeze me in with short notice due to urgency on my side. He was very diligent as the house is the brand new construction in Palo Alto and we were very sensitive to ensure minimal wall intrusion. He hanged two wall mounts inside and outside with new outlet in both locations. He also hanged about 8-9 various wall decors. Highly recommend.

Clogged toilet. Definitely tried to convince us we needed a new toilet. Our manager had the sense to wait and see and our toilet has worked just fine since. 198$ for the visit. Please follow the same cautious attitude when they send someone out. They know what they are doing technically and sales wise too

Earlier this month, Palo Alto Plumbing repaired our shower faucet cartridge.  The charge: $315.00.  There were two screw covers the plumber had a hard time replacing so he suggested that he order new ones.  

In the meantime, the shower faucet began to intermittently groan when we turned on the water.  I called to ask that someone come out to check the problem and asked whether the screw covers had come in.  Turned out they were unavailable so the dispatcher suggested that they just be put back on.

I said, great, when the plumber comes out to check the problem with the shower, he can replace those covers.  Long story short, the shower made no noise when he tried to duplicate the problem we were having.  He replaced the plastic screw covers and I got a bill for $27.50.

I've had many, many dealings with plumbers, appliance repair people, electricians.  In my experience, the screw covers would have been replaced as part of the original job.  No new bill.  No new charge.  And we would have been encouraged to call again if we continued to have problems with the shower.

I will have to work with them to fix the original repair, but I will not call them for anything else.  Nickel and dime-ing customers makes no sense in the long run.

They lost a customer.

Josh Fisher just finished Plumbing my house. His price was good, he was extremely respectful and professional, he and his guys were fantastic start to finish. I am a contractor, and I base my business around quality work and service. I am not easily impressed with other contractors. I was looking for a recommended plumber.  I did a few instant quotes via Yelp and only one plumber replied and those prices were very high. So I kept looking for a plumber and I found Vince with VIP Plumbing. He came highly recommended by several people on NextDoor, so I called and spoke with Vince. He worked with my schedule and we set a date and time for him to come see the items I wanted updated.

When he arrived, I showed him what I wanted done and expected him to give me a bid and schedule a time to come back for the repairs. He gave me a bid that I thought was fair and said he could do the job now. Wow! Now mind you I had two fairly minor items for him to update, but he made the repairs right then and there! He did a great job and gave me peace of mind having the updates completed.

Vince is now in my contacts. He's now my go to plumber and I will recommend him to my friends, family and clients.

Last week I had a toilet badly in need of attention. It had clogged, and when I tried to plunge it myself, it overflowed all over the bathroom. Eww. I've never actually needed to call a plumber before, but I know when I'm out of my depth. So I turned to Yelp.

When I called they picked up right away. I explained the situation and they said they could have someone there within the next two hours. Hallelujah! In truth, a plumber and his helper/trainee arrived in less then an hour (with a phone call first to let me know they were on the way).

Fortunately they didn't even cringe at the disgusting situation in the bathroom, and got right to work. They used an auger to clear the clog, made sure the toilet was all clear, and were in and out in under 15 minutes. They were both polite and professional.

I got the bill in the mail a few days later. It seemed a bit steep to me - $146 for less than 15 minutes of toilet snaking - but I really can't complain. They swiftly rescued my only toilet in its hour of need!

I called today, Kevin came out to the house -nice guy.  He was here for 1 hour and 15 minutes, snaking out what he said was 5 ft of pipe, and cleaning debris out of a couple other ones by hand.  For this we were charged $315.  He had the audacity of suggesting I might want to clean up the debris so it doesn't go back down the drain.  You mean that's not part of the deal, I asked incredulously.  No, not really he replied.

We usually use another plumbing company in Morgan Hill but they were not doing home service due to Covid, so we had to look for another plumber and decided to try Thomas plumbing -Morgan Hill. First time experience and it was a very poor quality service. Took 2 trips and 4 phone calls for the work to be properly completed.
I purchased a faucet for my parents house, and contacted Thomas plumbing -Morgen Hill, to remove the old one and replace it with the new one. Their technician came in at 1:31 pm, installed the new faucet , texted me at 2:46pm that he was done. And we were sent a bill for $296.
I went over my parents and saw the faucet  was loosely installed , water leaking down into the vanity drawers and under the sink. I called Thomas plumbing to report the leak issue and requested fix. I was  put through Dave, who appeared to be the owner . he denied any workmanship issue then accused me of trying not to pay.  I send him video and pictures, of the loose faucet handles and water under sink. Then called Dave back on to follow up, he agreed to sent the technician back to fix it. This was while no apologies made or empathy for the inconvenience. After they corrected the faucet and when I went there to pay, I asked for a breakdown of charges . They stated $296 was for 2 hours of labor. I informed them that their technician was there for a total 1&1/2 hr . They referred me to Dave. So I Called Dave the next day, I told him that my parents are elderly and on fixed income so I want to make sure they pay a fair charge. Dave insisted that we must pay for 2 hours despite proof i had via Ring camera and technician time of text. Dave said that tech spent 2 hours and part of it was the paperwork he was doing while in his truck.
I agreed to pay the due bill but I won't do business with them again. Thomas plumbing Morgan Hill is poor workmanship Quality, poor customer service, and were dishonest about the charges.

Sewer line was blocked and caused my downstairs toilet to overflow. Yuck!  Called Mike and he showed up within a short time and went to work. He didn't just clear the blockage but figured out how the line went in a very methodical way and found the cleanout right in front which was buried under soil and I didn't know about. Snaked the line and cleared and told me what to do so if there's a blockage next time, the problem shows up outside and not in the house. And all this for a very reasonable price. You can count on his analytical approach, honesty and integrity.

If you need your lines snaked don't even think of calling anyone else. Just call He-Man Plumbing.

Owner(Jerry) was responsive,timely and professional .  He made repairs, cleaned up completely and charged a very fair price.  Would recommend him without
hesitating.

Chico was really great.  I needed a new gas line run to my stove.  He agreed to meet me quickly for a quote, and even came on the weekend.  The price was very reasonable, and he and his crew were courteous and careful and completed the job the next day!  He identified a few issues for me to deal with in the future.  Cannot recommend any more highly.

Eric and Jacob helped me from the initial softener selection to the final installation and showed very professional spirits. I have a shelf in the  garage which made the space very tide. They still helped me designed different position plans with pros and cons. The final result is amazing. It is safe, easy to add salt later and also I can keep the shelf space. The whole experience is great.  Highly recommended!

We live in a 100-year-old Craftsman whose heating system, furnace and ducts hadn't been cleaned in at least a decade. I got a couple of quotes via Angie's List. PCE wasn't the cheapest (actually about $200 more than a local contractor) but I was impressed with the service right from the start. The technicians came on-site to provide a quote. That seemed a bit unnecessary for a fairly simple job, but the visit gave me a really good impression of the company's technical capability and service standards and I signed up on the spot to have our system, furnace and ducts to 10 outlets cleaned. The team came within a week and did a thorough job. After the visit, however, I couldn't get the system to work. Another technician came out to do a follow-up inspection and got it working right away at no extra charge. The problem may have been user-error, to be honest, I'm not sure, but the tech checked everything anyway. Really good service.

Had an appointment scheduled for Saturday and they canceled my appointment that morning with no alternatives but to wait a few days.   I don't know why I decided to try this company but I thought why not, my mistake.  I decided to contact Mr. Rooter who I had used in the past and they came out that day and completed the job quickly.  I will never call Benjamin Franklin Plumbing again.
