Raheb, fixed our shower valve in the master, our line to ice maker in kitchen, leaking faucets at a couple sinks....Replaced/remounted toilet. So happy with his service.
Why 5 stars: responsiveness, coming out prepared with parts (he asked for photos and descriptions ahead of visit), quickness of work, communication of what jobs entailed and time estimates, ball parking costs, just the right balance of friendliness and overall professionalism.
We had a pipe leak in our laundry room on a Saturday night during Memorial Day weekend. I had hard time reaching any plumbers, but Raheb at American Home Plumbing answered right away and was able to come within less than an hour. Raheb is great to work with, knows what he's doing and his charge for the emergency service was reasonable. Thanks Raheb for saving the weekend for us!
Let me say first off, don't waste your time with other plumbers, American Home Plumbing is the way to go.
Raheb is super friendly, respectful of your house, takes his shoes off and applies covers to avoid messy clean ups, and super receptive and responsive over the phone and via text.
Raheb first did a regulator for me and was literally half the price of ROTO rooter and other companies I called. I continued to ask for more worked to be done since I was so happy the first time.
He did a number of faucet leaks, cartridge replacements, shower valves, outside hose valve, and RO piping replacements with no problem.
Recommended to my neighbor for some leaky bathroom sink issues involving piping and the cartridges and was literally 1/3 the price of the quote my neighbor got previously from a chain plumbing service.
American home plumbing is fully licensed and I fully recommend their services. No BS, up front with parts costs etc.
Raheb is extremely quick with responding and coming over to my house to take a look at the issue. He is knowledgable and reliable, and patient with explaining the problems thoroughly in layman's terms. Checked out the problem, bought the replacement valve and returned to fixed my leaking water heater all in 2 hours. Highly recommend this service and will forever be my go-to plumbing solution.
We have really bad clogging that dirty water floods the garage. Raheb is very nice, came right away and fixed it really fast.

Our 15-year-old water heater started leaking yesterday and stopped making hot water! Raheb was referred by a friend and responded to us after hours to schedule the appointment for the next day. Less than 24hours later, I have a brand new water heater in my garage and no more cold showers!

I had a shower leak where I was concerned that water might be leaking behind the wall. When I called American Home Plumbing, Raheb answered immediately and said that he could be at my home in 15 minutes. Raheb was fast, pleasant, knowledgeable, and charged a fair price which included a 1 year warranty on the repair
Thanks Raheb for rescuing me after my hot water heater decided that its burner screen was too dirty to work any more! Got me up and running again in about an hour. Pointed out some issues for me that need to be addressed to get it up to code (yay old houses). Thanks for the fast and professional service in these crazy times.
Raheb is very responsive and professional, I've contacted him multiple times for semi-urgent plumbing problems and he was able to fit us into his schedule quickly. He did a great job dealing with a variety of issues with our toilet, faucets and washer & dryer at a reasonable price.
One of the things I really like about Rahid was how easy it was to get a hold of him. You call and he answers. If he doesn't answer right away, he calls you back. You deal with him, not an intermediary.
Wearing a mask, Rahid was a few minutes early to our appointment. He came in and quickly replaced the kitchen faucet he had suggested I buy. When asked to look at a dripping bathroom faucet, he determined it only needed tightening and he fixed the problem.
I was more than satisfied with work and the outcome. Really makes me appreciate good workmanship and soooo happy to have a reliable kitchen faucet again!

These guys are the real deal. Raheb responded immediately, and was very friendly. On top of top notch work, prices were very affordable. Finally found a plumber I can trust and depend on.
I found a bad leak in my backyard water piping right after moving into my new home. Raheb was very responsive, coming to help right away even on a weekend during pandemic social distancing time. He was able to drill into my cement and fixed my issue promptly. He is very knowledgeable which I can tell from his explanations about techniques and options. He wore a mask which was very professional. His rates are very reasonable and he even offered a warranty period. Our toilet in 2nd floor leaked and showed up in 1st floor ceiling. Raheb responded quickly and showed up with Alan. They found out the sewage drain under the toilet is broken, and fixed it quickly. They also did other fix in the house, and answered my questions patiently.
Replaced our 6 year old water heater. Placed my trust on him based on all the wonderful yelp reviews.
Probably felt a little expensive, but I will give him the benefit of doubt. Happens a lot with our neighborhood.

Amazing service! We used the Yelp messaging service on a Saturday afternoon and they answered within 5 minutes. Raheb was then at our house within 90 minutes. Incredible.
We have some old plumbing but Raheb was able to diagnose and fix our blocked drain within an hour.
Definitely using them again. Worth every penny!
Lost all water pressure in the house. Requested a quote on yelp, Raheb replied within 15 minutes on a Sunday evening. I messaged him this morning about if he had availability to come out. He called back within 5 minutes, arrived at my house within an hour of calling me back.
He asked questions to gather the needed information on the problem and then started systematically troubleshooting the problem. He identified the main shut off valve to the house was the problem and quickly worked to resolve it and had water pressure restored expediently.
While validating flow/pressure was restored after fixing the valve, he also identified my water softener was not working correctly as well.
Beyond happy with Raheb. Will use American Home Plumbing Service in the future.
These guys are incredible. Talk about great service and pricing. It's not often you find great, honest, reliable plumbing companies. American Home Plumbing Services is just that. They show up on time, are honest about the work, and take great pride in their work. I used them in a remodel that has been a major pain in the butt. Professional -- that's the best way to describe Raheb. I am blown away by Raheb's ability to not only solve our plumbing issue but to do so in an efficient, cost effective, and professional manner. Having dealt with other plumbers in the past, I can confidently say that getting this type of service is unique and hard to come by. That's the short review; here's a more detailed one:
My wife reached out to multiple plumbers through Yelp because we had a few leaks in the house. From the first interaction with Raheb to the last one, he demonstrated the utmost amount of professionalism and expertise.
When Raheb arrived, he asked a few questions to fully understand the issues we were having. Raheb went the extra mile and identified other potential issues we could have in the near future. Great service!
The sink was clogged and I requested a quote and Raheb was one of the first ones to respond asking for my contact details so I can explain to him exactly what happened and he gave me a quote on how much it will cost to fix. He was very upfront about the cost and I didn't feel pressured to commit in hiring him. After a few days, I contacted him again and he came right away, assessed the damage and gave me a fair price. And now, the sink is working again. :)
What's also good is that, he accepts card payments...how cool is that? The other ones I've contacted take only cash or check which can totally ruin my budget.
Next project....leaky faucets....

Needed him last minute for a quick fix with my kitchen sink's pipes, he came over and found the issue in a matter of minutes and quickly repaired all damages and fixed it up like it was nothing. What can I possibly say that other customers haven't? I respect businesses who actually care about customer service - Raheb definitely goes above and beyond! After contacting him via Yelp messenger, I received an immediate response. Excellent service!
I had an unexpected plumbing issue in my laundry room Sunday evening. Water started spraying abruptly all over the place. I quickly went to Yelp, and researched who would be a good professional to call. I ran into American Home Plumbing Services, and was very pleased with the many positive reviews, and proximity to my location. I gave Raheb a call, and he was available to see me the next morning.
Raheb arrived punctually on time (literally to the minute), and was very professional. He was able to access my issue very quickly, and went right to work. I appreciated that he was very careful in his work, and also very neat and conscientious. His pricing was extremely fair, and the work was performed very quickly.
I am extremely happy in how the entire experience went. I went from a little stressed out about the water leakage, to being a relieved and happy customer.
We have been ignoring our minor plumbing issues for some time now. We finally decided to get them addressed, but we worried about finding a plumber that was not going to rip us off.
Our friends recently had a pipe explode underneath their house which created a HUGE mess for them. They told us that Raheb came to their rescue and they were quick to recommend him. We figured if he could help them out with an emergency like that, he could certainly help us with our issues.
We were not disappointed. Raheb stopped by installed a new kitchen sink, a new valve for the cutting off the water to the kitchen sink, a new cartridge for our shower faucet, and new guts for our leaky toilet.
He was quick, courteous, and polite. He took his shoes off without being asked and cleaned up after himself. He was straight forward about what he could and could not do (hence a new kitchen faucet, but only a cartridge in the shower), and estimated the cost for each job and came in on target for the estimate.
We were both very satisfied with Raheb and would recommend him to not only you as Yelpers but to our personal friends as well.

This Saturday, we wake up with the kitchen sink being locked. We tried the known procedures to make the drain going , but no luck.
Calling for urgent help never work too, as all are fully booked. I called the American plumbing and Raheb came to me live, no answering machine. I explained to him the urgent need. He was so kind of put me on his priority list for the day. He promised to come soon.
After almost 30 mints with no show up , he called to confirm coming and apologizes for the delay!
He came , after looking into it, he explained clearly the issue and the options.
I went with one of them. It wasn't that easy to open using his machines. He kept trying Until it gets back into working.
His service is so professional and clean , his price isn't bad .
I fully recommend Raheb to such work.

Great service! We are selling a condo and our disposal went out so we needed a speedy fix. Raheb responded the same day that we called him. He was courteous and professional. He determined that the disposal only needed a quick wrenching and good as new! He wouldn't take any money for the task and that really told me what a great guy he is. We will use him for all our plumbing needs in our new house!
Raheb was amazing! Such a great vendor to work with. I was looking for a gas leak specialist and he came to the rescue. When it comes to gas leaks, it's very stressful and unanticipated due to the uncertainty and urgency of the situation and he was extremely responsive and knowledgeable. He was able to come later that day, assess the situation and immediately get to work. He communicated the situation very clearly, was very honest and transparent about his process and made things very simple. Also, very pleasant and customer oriented. Highly recommend him!

Raheb did a wonderful work installing a whole house water conditioner/filtration system. My place has a narrow tandem garage and I had to keep the filter all the way in since there wasn't enough space to keep it right next to the city water pipe coming in to the house. Also the builder didn't expose any loop. So Raheb had to find the loop, cut, weld and do a lot of hard work. Ultimately after 1.5 days he did a very good job of installing it. Though the work was very demanding he never once complained which I really like about him - Very professional and genuine.

I called Raheb for a common plumbing issue that seems to show up a lot in these reviews (Moen shower cartridge requiring replacement). I had another Moen fixture with the same problem recently, so I knew what the problem was. Raheb was very good at calling back and was able to come out within a day (he had to change the appointment a few times with another issue he was dealing with, but my tenant fully understood). Raheb's work was great. The problem I have is his charges. Raheb charged me $250 for the job. I had the exact same job done by another plumber for half the price six months ago (my normal plumber was on vacation so I used Yelp to locate a nearby plumber). The cartridge itself is not that expensive of a part, so I do believe his hourly fee to be excessive. For that reason, I will not be recommending him.

I called him to check on a leak coming from upstairs bathroom. The sheet rock ceiling was open and he was unable to find the leak. He said everything was fine. Taking him at his word, I proceeded to have the sheet rock patched. The very next day the leaks appeared again after I had paid someone to put the ceiling up. When I called him to check it out again and and figure out what was wrong he said he'd call me back in an hour as he was going to a meeting. He never called and did not respond to my subsequent phone calls or voicemail. I just wanted him to make up for his mistake by providing a legitimate diagnosis and finding the source of the leak. Horrible service.
I have a 50 year old house with the original galvanized plumbing. I had no idea what was wrong and Raheb understood my disjointed explanation of the problem. I ended up needing to have the sewer line snaked and the pipe braced. Raheb was very friendly and professional. He did the job efficiently, arrived on time, and answered his phone himself. Most importantly treated my family, property and me with respect. I'm VERY happy. Raheb is now in my contacts as my go-to plumber.

I contacted Rahib, the owner, and once I explained the situation, he made a thorough assessment on two potential issues related to the shower head not completely turning off. He provided a quote and was very professional. Once he came to the home he quickly identified the issue and replaced the cartridge in the shower lever. He ensured the area was clean when he left. In addition, he provided good recommendations related to a water softener system. When my usual go-to plumber did not respond to my voice message after more than a day, I called American Home Plumbing based on the great reviews here. SO glad I did!
Raheb answered my call and said he could come over by 4:30 the same day, and instead he arrived around 2:30, just a couple of hours after my call. There was a leak under my sink which he could easily fix. I also explained that I had a couple of other problems that I've been wanting to take care of for a long time but just hadn't gotten around to them. I thought he'd have to come back another day to take care of those things but said he could fix all of it at the same time and gave me a quote. He was able to not only stop the leak but fix the other problems within a couple hours, and even charged me less than he quoted (unheard of, right?).
I would definitely recommend Raheb, especially for those who have a plumbing job that needs immediate attention.

Raheb's work is QUALITY.
He came out on Christmas eve day, my water heater would not stay lit, I had a house full of people coming over for dinner, disaster, right? Nope. He came out within the hour then had GE ship me a replacement part since the water heater was still under warranty. He repaired it replacing the thermal coupler and followed up. Fantastic Service.
Raheb was extremely Profession and Personable.
Water was gushing from our side of the water meter. We managed to turn the water off at the meter and called American Home Plumbing Service. Raheb was here within a few hours and had our water back on.
We will definitely call him again and will recommend him to friends and family.
My shower drain was broken due to poor installation from the previous plumber, a friend recommended Raheb, he came over took a look and within minutes he knows what the problem is, he came back on the day he promised and fixed my drain, now I am so happy I can use my shower again. Our water heater stopped making hot water. I called and Raheb was at my house in five minutes. He diagnosed the problem and had the necessary part in his truck to fix it. He worked carefully and efficiently. We've got hot water again, yay!! Thanks to American Home Plumbing Service!!!
It was an excellent experience dealing with Raheb. Most other plumbing services were charging a fee just to come in a diagnose the problem, and than would provide an estimate making the whole arrangement very open ended and uncomfortable. On the other hand Raheb just told me he would by take a look and didn't feel it was a very serious problem. He was pretty straightforward that he would give a quote and if I liked it he would fix the issue than an there.
He came home looked at the flush that I felt was draining water back into the bowl and figured that the flushing mechanism had deteriorated and that and the seal needed to be replaced. He finished the whole work in an hour or so for a very reasonable estimate.
Would definitely recommend him and go back to him for my other plumbing requirements.

We moved into our new home and didn't have any hot water coming out of our shower. After reading all the terrible reviews about the company that our home warranty recommended, I decided to contact American Home Plumbing Service instead and I am so happy that I did!
I requested a quote and he returned my call within 20 minutes. Right off the bat, he knew we needed a new cartridge. He came by our place within a few hours and confirmed this was the issue. He texted me the exact part we needed and came back the same day to install it (and in record time!)

Professional!! What else I should say? Raheb installed non-salt based water softener at my home.
He quoted really fair amount initially compared to other plumbers. But, the work was not simple at my house. But, he installed it very clean and looks perfect.

The gentleman who answered the phone when I called American Home Plumbing Service informed me that his equipment was broken and referred me to someone he said he knew and trusted named Gary. When I called Gary and asked for an in home estimate he said that plumbers do not usually offer that - which from my frantic research over the last 2 days I know to be untrue, but he said he could see what he could do so when I asked him when he might be able to come check out the problem he said to text my address and he'll try to get to me on his way home. When I pressed him for a time so that I am not waiting on standby all day, I also let him know I have others giving estimates today too because I have never needed plumbing work done, and needed to know what a fair price was. He flat out declined to work with me stating that he doesn't work on top of other plumbers. Obviously I don't need two plumbers at the same time, but I am certainly not going to let myself get taken advantage of so I WILL price shop, I am allowed that. But apparently that worried him - so, good thing I dodged that bullet. Bad referral, and bad treatment, and sadly it reflects poorly on this company for referring me.

This was the best experience with a plumber I've had. He came the same day, within the time window, fixed my garbage disposal in about 30 seconds, and wasn't going to charge me anything. I realize it was a quick fix but most plumbers charge for showing up even if they don't do anything.

Don't even waste your time with anybody else, don't try to fix it yourself after watching a few YouTube videos, just call Raheb at American Home Plumbing Service. I'm so glad we did, he's a life saver! Our shower knob started leaking water and it flooded down into another condos garage storage area, it was a disaster. Raheb was able to come out shortly after we called, he was extremely professional and knew exactly what needed to be done. We were back in business in no time, and for literally thousands of dollars less than some of these other top 10 plumbers on yelp in San Jose, CA wanted to charge us. Seriously, don't waste your time with anybody else, we just found the best plumber ever. You wont be disappointed. I wish I could give a 10 star rating and I will go out of my way to recommend him to everyone I know.

I gave this business a five start before. This time is kind of disappointing. I need to replace my kitchen faucet and may be the one in bathroom, and may be adding water filter under the kitchen sink. I called them last Thursday, text the pictures, and never hear any thing back. I text again on Tuesday. I used them before, and I was happy with them. So I want to give me another chance. The lady on the phone was very apologetic, and sounds nice. But I have not heard from them. So I hired someone else to change the kitchen faucet.

Raheb - excellent - knowledgeable - efficient. Shower/bath tub valve was leaking - called him - he fixed it that afternoon - replaced the entire fixture/cover and all - If we have future plumbing problems he will be the first plumber we call.. BRAVO - Excellent Service!

My washer had been leaking water for the last 1-2 loads. And I had been looking for help. I had identified the issue to an extent, but was unable to fix it, because I have fractures on my back.
So I 'YELPED' for help, and looking at the best reviews, I called up Raheb. Even though he was away from work on Personal family event, he took time to answer my call, and later messaged me an appointment time for Sunday.
He came right on time, and looked at the problem. Helped fix it, and checked it again. I was already impressed at his work.
I was expecting some labor cost, but he did not take a single penny from me, saying 'I did nothing'. He did this free.
Now Raheb becomes my go to guy for all the plumbing work.
This is kind of too bad. Reading the reviews makes someone think that kind of experience is what to expect. I guess I would give this company more slack if it didn't advertise that it gives 100% response time within 1 hour. See, I haven't even gotten that far.
I went to their website, filled out a request for quote form (because it isn't an emergency) on Monday afternoon. Waited. Called them Wednesday afternoon at 1:20pm because it's not an emergency but I am trying to get a quote, and left a voice message with all the details I put in my request on their Contact Form - and mentioning in the voice message that I filled out the Quote Request on Monday. Today is Friday. Nothing. No, it's not an emergency. But four days to still not reply to a request for quote when they advertise what they do is what is disappointing. I don't doubt the great reviews from other people, and I am a pretty patient and understanding person, and maybe it's just unlucky; but to advertise the response rate the way they do is disappointing, something people should hear about, and reason for the one star. They might notice that.
I needed to have two shower faucet cartridges replaced that had become worn out and had started malfunctioning. I called Raheb because he was nearby and was open on a Sunday. I couldn't believe that he answered my call at such an off hour. But he answered my call, and requested I send him a photo of the faucet. He offered to come to my home that night, but I said the next day would be fine. He agreed and came to the house as promised the next day with the necessary parts to make the repairs. Raheb really knew his trade well, and made the repairs quickly. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. If I have plumbing problems in the future, he will be the first one I'll call. I was really pleased with his service.

I can say that Raheb is a good plumber, response fast and so on, but the thing that impresses me the most is integrity, you can be assured that the job will get done and with a very fair price.
He came in to change what we all thought a simple fix, which ended up being an arduous task that spanned three days, he stuck to it because the alternative is a massive work that would involve taking out the pipe.
Safe to say, we have found our go to plumber :)
Completely satisfied with service provided. 1 hour response. Relatively complicated fix was provided quickly. Price was not low, but I believe it was reasonable. I expected to pay much more.
No doubt will call this guy again if I need similar work.

5 stars for Raheb! Last night we had a backed up sink that we couldn't get to clear and after calling a handful of rude plumbers this morning, Raheb was a breath of fresh air! He was so nice on the phone and told me he could come the next morning. Later he called back and said he had a cancellation and could come this afternoon! He got here so fast and was very pleasant to work with. He had the problem fixed in no time! He was very respectful of our home and was very good at explaining what he was doing to fix the problem. Plus, the price was much lower than I anticipated it to be!
I found American Home Plumbing Service through yelp after finding a solid leak in my main water valve. Raheb answered right away and was here in less then 20 minutes. He was willing to come back early (630 am early) just so I could get to work on time the next day. Instead he made a point of coming back after our consultation to fix the problem so I wouldn't get penalized on my water bill. Raheb was quick, professional, funny and knowledgeable. In other words this was the most enjoyable experience from a bad situation. Definitely use this company if you have any plumbing issues.
Apparently Thanksgiving and the aftermath did a number on my kitchen pipes, and I had a terrible clog with standing water in both sections of the sink. Neither plunger nor liquid drain-declogger did a thing. I saw the great reviews for American Home Plumbing Service, called first thing this morning, and Raheb was here before noon! He took care of the clog, was meticulous about cleaning under the sink, gave me some good advice about what to put down/not put down the disposal, and was friendly and professional. So happy I called!

Our hot water tank failed on a Sunday afternoon, so I quickly Googled best plumbers in San Jose. This company was listed in the top 10 so I called. Raheb got back to me within 20 minutes of my voicemail and came the very next morning to give us a quote and replace our tank. He contacted my landlord to get pre-approved for all of the work and costs before getting started. He finished the job quickly, cleaned up after himself, and hauled away the old tank. He also made sure to choose a quality replacement tank. Very professional.

Quick, prompt service and a nice guy too!
Like another reviewer, we tried to switch out an old Moen shower cartridge but the whole interior of the cartridge slid out and left the plastic housing stuck in place. Now we couldn't turn the water back on because the shower valve would leak. And because life is a bowl of cherries I had to get food poisoning at the same time which meant a lack of running water for the toilet was a BIG issue.
But then we called Raheb this afternoon and he was at our place within the hour!
After some careful extraction work, he was able to remove the darn thing without scratching the brass surround (which would have meant a very costly repair), replace it with the new cartridge and put everything back the way it was.
Since he was there, we also asked about a sink in an unused bathroom that stopped flowing. He fixed that in 2 minutes - showed me how to unscrew the piece at the mouth of the faucet to release the build up of minerals was preventing flow from the tap (doh!).
So within an hour, we had 2 items fixed and our water back on.
Hurray for Raheb!
I've had what I thought was a trivial toilet problem which came and went away for months. After trying to fix it I finally gave up and called Raheb. He is an absolute gentleman and arrived exactly on schedule and on short notice. Problem solved. Highly recommended.

Raheb was prompt when we called him for a water heater repair. Although he could have charged me for parts and labor that does not need to be replaced, he made the right diagnosis and fixed the issue in no time. It was a simple pilot light issue. Looking at his work, I also requested he fix a kink under my sink and he did a quick fix right away. I loved his work ethic and his straightforward feedback on issues. Would recommend him any time and would call him back if any plumbing issue arises.
Wow, American Home Plumbing was a life saver he came and helped out our family when no other plumber could and did not take advantage of our emergency by charging a ridiculous amount. He will forever be our go to plumber! :)

First rate service. Raheb came out to fix a clog and returned the next day to help me find a leak. If you need plumbing work in San Jose call American Home Plumbing Service and you won't regret it.
I considered 6 plumbers for a job to replace the Water Main Shut Off Valve and Pipe. Raheb gave me the best quote and was available within the next day to do the job. He arrived on time and his workmanship was excellent. I won't hesitate to call on him for future plumbing job.
Raheb came out right away and replaced the seal around the toilet. He was very professional and his price was reasonable. I will definitely use them again if i ever have a need for plumbing setvices.

Rahib is as good as it gets. Arrived promptly, professional, friendly, solution oriented plumber.
I needed a kitchen faucet hooked up along with a garbage disposal and an under the sink reverse osmosis water filtration system.
At first, I was looking for a best quote from multiple plumbers and Rahib was onsite for an estimate. He did not pressure me to do the work even after matching my best quote. In fact, he said we can schedule something for the next day and that will give me time to find a better quote if I choose. Rahib was the guy for this job!
He took time to make sure everything was functioning properly. That water filtration was a finicky one and he took care of it with precision and care. In fact, there were two parts he got (one from his truck and another from a store) that he did not charge me for.
And there's one more, he helped install two outlets to match my kitchen countertops because I had the parts there. He did not charge.
An honest plumber who knows his work depends on word of mouth. I will be referring business his way.
Maybe I'll help create a marketing slogan for him, he does service with a smile.
You have to at least give American Home Plumbing Service a call.
I found the best plumber in the world. Raheb is efficient, thorough and punctual. Not only does he get the job done fast, he's very technical and educated in his field. I highly recommend him.

A good Professional service. Raheb came to our house within 30 minutes of our call. Knowledgeable. Flexible. We have a running toilet which we almost fixed by replacing the part. It just needed tightening and he was upfront about it that we fixed it ourselves and he just tightened it. Will definitely call them for any plumbing service we need in future.

I decided to try and change a shower cartridge myself and when everything was disassembled, I couldn't get the thing out, even after soaking it in vinegar.I had the water off to my house so needed help right away to fix this.
I called and Raheb answered immediately. He was at my house within an hour and a half as promised and with his special tool, got the thing unstuck and changed for me. He was very courteous and neat, even took his shoes off in my house. I couldn't be happier with the service and the price was reasonable. I will definitely call them again the next time I need a plumber.

We had a leak in the garage and called Raheb. He promptly returned my call and came the same day unlike several other companies that I called, who didn't even return my call. Once at the location, he quickly figured out the root of the problem. Since it was a simple rubber pipe from a water softner getting loose kind of issue he was kind enough not to charge us for the visit. Afterwards he did a quick scan for other potential issues and reassured us that we are leak free in the garage! We will definitely be using his services in the future!!
Raheb got back to me quickly. Needed a new thermocouple for my hot water heater. He went and got the part and I had hot water a few hours later. He made sure to check for gas leaks after his work was done. I had a good conversation with him while I observed his work too. Call him.... He will give you an honest quote and he does good work.

Raheb from American Home Plumbing saved the day! My wife and I were out of town for a long weekend when the plumbing leading into our water heater decided to begin leaking. It was a Sunday, of course. Called Raheb. Explained the situation and that we were not home, but, my 14 yo Daughter and Mother-in-law were. He was at our house in 15 minutes. Diagnosed the issues and suggested a short-term fix and a long-term solution. The cost would have been completely reasonable for a weekeday, much less a weekend. I would recommend them to anyone. We had a great experience and will schedule time to have Raheb come back to discuss the long-term solution.
I found Rahib from American Home plumbing on Yelp and was very pleased with his service. He was professional, his quote was reasonable and most importantly did the job well.

I was looking for a quote to have my bathroom piping reworked and tried a few local services. In the end I went with American home Plumbing - good choice.
Raheb came round for the initial quote within 24hrs. After some haggling he undercut the best alternative quote. The job he did was amazing. Note only did Raheb rework the plumbing, he installed the bath tub which was not part of the original quote. Moreover, during the day he was very patient when I had to go and by additional components - my bath tub required some whacky non-standard overflow pipe assembly. On completion of the work he offered to come back free of charge and fit the tap/shower attachments once I had completed the tiling.
As he spent many more hours than I anticipated the work would take, I offered Raheb more money for the job - he did not accept.
I cannot recommend this company enough.

I tried out American Home Plumbing Services based on a recommendation from my neighbor. My hot water heater was leaking and needed the repairs done quickly. I recalled my neighbor had re-piped his whole house using American Home Plumbing and he was real happy with the job. I spoke to the owner and he and one his guys showed up that very same day. They made a few recommendations that made sense, like installing a higher capacity water heater to meet our needs. They bought the parts and completed the job by the next day. The owner even called back a week later to see if we were happy with the work. I would totally recommend American Home Plumbing.
If yelp could give me 10 stars, I would give it to Raheb. He is the best there is when it comes to plumbing. I had to move my washing machine into my garage, which did not have a water line. With different plumbers coming in and giving me quotes on the job, Raheb gave me the best one. At first, I was skeptical because it was a pretty good deal, but I decided to give his company a try, and I'm glad I chose him. Raheb is very respectful toward his customers and their home, and he cleans up after himself! (not like those others who expect you to clean up after the job). I was so happy with his work, I recommended him to my brother-in-law who also needed work done on his home. Let's just say, if i need have a plumbing work to be done, I know who to call! I called and Rahib said he'd try to work me in on New Year's Eve, which sounded great especially on short notice. Unfortunately he wasn't able to because of another job, so he said that he could show up at 8:30 AM on the day after New Year's instead. In light of the holiday and my difficulty in finding someone else, that sounded okay. This morning he didn't show up, didn't call, his voice mailbox is full, and he did not respond to a text message. I can respect that on short notice, someone may not be able to fit me into the schedule. If they tell me as much, that's no big deal; I can find another plumber to help me out. But when someone does give me a specific time they're going to show up, I expect them to be there. This experience did not impress me at all.

After calling late morning Raheb was at my door by early afternoon. He did a complete re-plumb of my kitchen sink and garbage disposal. He used high quality materials and eliminated a lot of excess piping under the sink that 3 prior plumbers never were able to do correctly. He was quick, efficient and friendly - not to mention extremely affordable. Will definitely use him in the future and will refer our friends.

I had a leaky bath tub faucet. Within 15 mins they were at my front door ready to fix the problem. They did the job extremely quickly and without any complaints or hassles. The guy also had the part on hand so he didn't need to order it or pick it up. I was pretty impressed great service and I highly recommend them.
Mr. Rabi is THE BEST! We had a leak from our tub due to the overflow and it damaged our ceiling (the tub is on the 2nd floor). Raheb went out of his way to take care of us. We were referred to Raheb by my cousin who also utilized his services for a pipe leak in their home. It's really easy to like American Home Plumbing. I had a sudden problem with the plumbing in my bathroom, and my after-hours call was promptly and courteously handled both in terms of accurately diagnosing the problem and coming up with an affordable solution. I agree with all of these reviews. Rahib was phenomenal. I called in the morning..45 minutes later he was here to evaluate the issue. I needed a new water heater (mine was way past it's prime). He came back in the afternoon and not only installed a new water heater but also noticed an issue with my washing machine and fixed that as well. It was very hot outside and all the parts around my water heater were old, but he did an impeccable job. He told me 'he works on his customer's homes as if it were his own.' It's true and it's rare to get that kind of service these days. Highly recommend American Home Plumbing Service.

I found my sewer pipe (crawl space) under the kitchen was ruptured and disconnected, then the second day I called a contractor to give me an estimate. The contractor came and suggested to cut the wall in order to fix the sewer pipe, and his estimated cost was very high and was way over my expectation. So, I called American Home Plumbing Service in the same day and left a voice message. Less than a hour, I got a call back from Raheb and he said he will come shortly. Rabeb arrived on time, and went into the crawl space. When he came back, he gave me a new approach that does not need to cut the wall. And the price is great and fair. As I myself went to my crawl space as well to take a look, Raheb's approach was perfectly matching my expectation.
Three days later, Raheb arrived on time and fixed the problem quickly and professionally. Not only fixing my sewer pipe as planned, he also gave me a good advice about how to handle the wet spot in the crawl space. His advice is very useful and probably saves me over a thousand dollar of restoration service. Compared with the first contractor, you can tell the first one is just about making money from you, and Raheb is really about solving your problem efficiently. I am sure that I will go with Raheb again if I have any plumbing service. Raheb is great!

Raheb was willing to come out on a weekend to install our water filter. He also services outside of San Jose. Some plumbers don't work weekends or only service a certain area, so this was a great convenience. Raheb came on time, gave us a quote and got to work. 3.5 hrs later, filter was installed. He even used a snake camera to show me that there was no leak from the new fittings. The whole time he answered my questions and I learned a few things for myself. Overall, pretty good. Recommended!!!

I do not often receive exceptional service; however, with American Home Plumbing I did! From the first contact via the phone to the initial meeting and the final result i was very pleased. My water heater was leaking (badly) and needed to be replaced. I wanted to increase the capacity from a 40 gallon to a 50 gallon. Unfortunately, there were a few constraints in my garage such that it appeared I would not be able to upgrade. However, with a little creativity American Home Plumbing found a way to install the 50 gallon. The work was done professionally and the job site was left cleaner than before. AND- the job was done at a very competitive price. I could not have asked for more. I will definitely call American Home Plumbing the next time I am in need of plumbing services.
I had an issue with my kitchen sink faucet. Over time it had become loose and wobbly at the base and was showing hard water residue deposit and rust. Decided it was time to replace the faucet but due to the hard to reach location under sink, decided to call a professional plumber. As always I searched Yelp and checked the reviews. I am very happy that I came across American Home Plumbing Service. Called Raheb before noon on a Saturday and since he was doing a job in my neighborhood, he graciously agreed to stop by later in the afternoon to take care of my plumbing need. He is a real professional. Very courteous, knowledgeable in his field . I asked for recommendations on a quality replacement faucet and he was kind enough to tell me what brands to buy and what to stay away from !! He showed up on time and fortunately turned out that the faucet had simply become loose and could be tightened up without a need for a new replacement. He quickly took care of the problem and to my surprise refused to charge me for his services, even though he spent more than half an hour working on this issue to make sure all was in perfect working condition and that there were no leaks. I am going to use his services for a potential water softener installation due to extreme hard water in this neighborhood. Again quite impressed with his professionalism, his great work ethics and caring for the customer's best interest and not pushing for unnecessary replacement. I would not hesitate to call him for any and all plumbing needs I may encounter in future. I will be a customer for life. Great Job, Raheb.
