We have had both the owner Van Tran and his excellent  technician Tim Knollmiller work on plumbing issues in our home. Someone always arrives within hours, which is so appreciated. All problems have been quickly diagnosed and expertly and efficiently repaired. I highly recommend A.B.E. Sewer Drain and Plumbing Repair!

Sorry for the late review. After a brand new water heater installation a little less than a year ago, the cold water connection to the heater started leaking. I wrongfully thought the issue was with the water heater and called OC Plumbing to discuss the matter. They immediately responded and sent Octavio in less than 15 minutes and fixed the cold water connection in 5 minutes. Finding services in SF bay area is already difficult let alone high quality ones. OC Plumbing is very easy to work with.

I would not not use Bailey Plumbing for sewer lateral inspections. We used them recently, they charged $200 more than other providers to do the inspection. They didn't deliver the inspection video for 2 weeks and they failed the inspection. They kindly offerred to repair the sewer line for $4000+. I'm getting the repair done elsewhere by a licensed comnpany for $1000.

Contacted Kenny on a recommendation from a friend that had work done.  I had 2 bids out for replacing the main sewer line from the house to the city connection (street).  Kenny came out same day, reviewed the layout, suggested a much less intrusive way to accomplish the task, and his bid was 40% lower than others (a big deal when your talking thousands for a sewer line)! Other bids included tearing up 15 feet of aggregate walkway and pipe bursting.  Kenny explained the good and bad about these options, and laid out a plan, that did no concrete, plant, or sprinkler damage. Truly awesome when you think about the tight spaces. Kenny left to check another job and said he call that night with timing and the final price.  He called on time and we agreed on the price.
Kenny's crew showed up at 8am the next day and started to set up, and his foreman explained everything to me in real terms.  They had already conducted a city survey and all was marked and good to go.
All in all these guys are professional, timely, and left nothing to clean up.  Very please and highly recommend for a tough job like sewer systems, but also his crew is top of the line when it comes to standard house plumbing.  Not sure how he does it, but  he explains the most cost effective way to get the job done and you feel good about  your decision to call him.

Axel responded to my request for bids on replacing my sewer lateral, was responsive and helped me understand the differences between options. D&Ws TrenchFree technology was what fit my situation best. They completed the job quickly, barely disrupted our yard and garden and came at a good price. I'd recommend them for anybody.

A) They guy says cant you see that on yelp itself?

This is ridiculous. This is a standard question I am going to ask you regardless of what I see on yelp.

2) Have you installed seismic gas shut off valve?
A)  I do everything. From a to z. You can see my license. It should tell you everything.

Again ridiculous. Its very obvious to ask if you do a certain job and if you have done that before. I asked again, can you confirm though if you have done this type of work before. The guy says no and hangs up.

Be better in your conversations.

We called them on a saturday afternoon hoping for a monday appt. Luis said he was tied up but could he come in about 2 hours. Showed up exactly as promised, got right to work, came in $40 under estimate, pleasant, professional, definitely will use them again

The plumbing guys is awesome and highly recommended. We need to replace new toilets. Aaron responded my inquiry within an hour and scheduled a technician on the same day.

Our technician-Cesar is the best. He called us before our schedule time to confirm. He helped us bought new toilets and installed them perfectly.
After installation, he make sure there is no leakage and wiped the wet floor. He is very honest and told us there is one year warranty if anything goes wrong. I will definitely keep call the plumbing guy for any future needs.

I had a sewer back up on Saturday and tried to run a snake myself, that didn't work. I called Alert Plumbing on Sunday and Joey came out and tried to get it unclogged. He was polite, friendly and explained everything he was going to do ahead of time. He was not able to get the problem fixed but made suggestions on how to proceed. The next day Ruben came out with him to look at the situation and also made some suggestions on what to do, which was dig a replace a suspected broken pipe. They were very accommodating to answer all my questions and even made a recommendation that could take business away from them. They went out of their way to try and fix this by grabbing a city crew they saw down the block and bringing them by. I felt like the were truly trying to do the best for my situation and I appreciate it. As it turns out, my issue ended up being fixed by the City (a few days later) and I did not need  Ruben's services. Alert Plumbing earned my respect any any future business as well as recommendations to others. Thanks.

You can't do better than Rich Briscoe for a plumber.  He responds quickly, appraises your needs thoroughly and accurately, explains exactly what he's going to do and why, and answers any questions expertly and honestly.  His prices are very fair as are what he charges for parts.  If he's got a spare of what you need he may not charge for it at all.  He's also very personable and while fixing or installing whatever it is in a jiffy he's never in a hurry and is very pleasant to talk with.

I called Miracle Plumbing for toilet leaking and I was told the Y pipe under the toilet bowl was clogged with some stone-like stuff and need to be cut and replaced. Then I paid twice of $249 for the exploring diagnosis fee that by the end cutting 6 holes on the ceiling and the walls without a decision. After each hole cutting, the technician would go out to call his supervisor for a long talk. By the end of 6 holes, I was told I need to make another appointment tomorrow so he'll bring his supervisor in to further investigate. And I need to pay more of this kind of $249 until they can start to take action. I was so upset with this kind of exploring diagnosis. It means the technician having no clear idea where the pipe would go. And he doesn't use a stud detector to find the hollow place but cut where he was guessing. The worst part, two of the cutting edges his saw cut into the electrical wire. I couldn't see the professional skill that in any sense matches him to the rating of 4.9/5.0. When I got home, I checked the YELP reviews about Miracle Plumbing, and felt really bad about my experience. I should read review beforehand. I cancelled the next day's appointment. Although I still have to spend another big lump to hire drywall professionals to fix the 6 holes, I am fortunately enough not to lose even more money for nothing.

Aptos plumbing came to the rescue when we had a major septic issue / blockage. Bruce and his great crew of guys came in force and had all the right gear to isolate and repair.
Kept areas of work clean given they were digging major deep pits to find the issue, replaced my pavers ( and did a good job at it)
I added riser extensions (their suggestion) since I was deep into the project and am glad I did.
While I've seen posts about possible higher costs from Aptos, you get what pay for, I paid for urgent need, excellent service and got it.

I found this local plumbing company through Yelp, and boy did they come through in replacing my leaky water heater!  My gas-fired, 50-gallon heater had a good run (model year 1996), but yesterday night the supply valve failed and water was leaking to the bottom and slowly spilling over the catchpan.  Despite Yelp listing that they close at 7pm, I called a little afterwards and managed to talk to a person to get an appointment next morning.

Boris came and did an excellent job with the replacement. In 2.5 hrs or so he managed to drain out all the water, remove the old unit, replace with the new unit, connect up the piping, valves, and exhaust, and do a test run.  Plus, he managed to clean-up all the water from the previous leak.  Friendly, fast, and Stress Free - so 5 stars!

The new heater works great - hot water back in 45 minutes!  Looks like the unit is a little more efficient than the old model, 40,000 BTU/hr vs. 50,000 BTU/hr from the old model.  So hopefully I get lower PG&E bills too.

Definitely recommend Plumbing cares, and for Yelp of course!  Boris commented that they are mostly a 24/7 company, so don't hesitate to call them anytime if you have an urgent plumbing need.

Wally is the best plumber we have ever had.  Our kitchen sink drain clogged occasionally, we had a service from AAA, they just did some unclogging from the sink casually.  The problem never got fixed. We don't cook regularly and are very cautious to use drainer and garbage disposal.  I feel lucky that I called Wally this time.  He was patiently to use the snake to reach down and found out the real clog was deeper all the way down.  He came next day with all equipments and worked in the crawl space to clean all the pipe joints.  We are so happy now that finally we have a nice flow.  I highly recommend Wally 's service::))

Just had Rene fix my backed up sewer and replace a rusted out supply line. I called him the night before and he showed up the next morning promptly. He does very good work and I highly recommend using his services. As a plus, he is open on weekends! Hard worker.

We had a great experience with FUSE Electrical. They removed old indoor fluorescent skylights (wiring/ballast was hidden in the attic), replaced with new wiring/LED lighting. We also had some questionable old indoor switches/wiring redone & updated to smart switches. They also installed new exterior lighting, and new indoor/outdoor outlets. We are very happy with the whole process. FUSE was very easy to schedule (it required 2 iterations of estimates as we figured out what work we wanted to have done & 2 days to complete the work). They communicated well about their arrival, as well as being on time for all appointments. Our technician Adam was a great help in recommending different ideas for our projects that we had not considered, as well as specific parts to choose from. He convinced us to convert to smart switches which has been a great choice. While the work was being done he checked with us frequently to make sure it was what we wanted down to the details, and explained what he was doing so that we understood how things worked. I appreciate how interactive the process was, and that he was respectful and took time to educate us. We highly recommend FUSE for the quality of the work and how smoothly the whole process went.  Job well-done!

Marcos was superb on a very challenging job.
We had some water damage and hired multiple plumbers and remediation contractors to come out to find the source of the leak.  Nobody was able to find it, much to our disappointment.  However, Marcos succeeded, with his dedicated effort and good intuition.
Furthermore, Marcos is great with his communication and promptness.  We are very pleased to have found him.
