HISTORY

We started this adventure in 1993. My father started Rescue Electric Inc. As the years went by I got established and owned Desert Canyon Electric Corp. We merged our companies together and ran as father and son team and grew every year. I had always wanted our family name as our business so I started Wahlborg Electric Company.

Ernest has 24 years experience and followed his father also named Ernest who had 40 years experience and he followed his father Alfred who had 40 years experience as an electrician. From apprenticeship to where he is today, Ernest has a solid foundation in the electrical field.

I woke up early on a Sunday morning to an electrical issue and called them based on a recommendation on NextDoor. AJ called me back right away and was at my house within 2 hours. He was incredibly thorough and fixed the issue quickly, and even replaced a switch not related to my issue for me since he was already there. He did a great job explaining my problem in a way I could understand even though I have no clue about electrical. He was friendly, honest, and affordable and I would wholeheartedly recommend Wahlborg Electric to anyone.

As a result of a home inspection prior to the sale of our home, we had several electrical items to address. I left a voice-mail for Wahlborg Electric and A.J. was very quick to respond. After discussing the issues, we agreed on a time and date. A.J. showed up right on time. He was extremely knowledgeable and got right to work. He explained how he was going to fix the problems -- and explained them in easy-to-understand language. He also answered fully and completely any questions I had. Within two hours, he completed every repair or modification without a hiccup. I will definitely be calling Wahlborg Electric in the future and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. It's nice to experience a professional tradesperson that is genuinely invested in the customer, Wahlborg Electric Company. A.J. stopped by shortly after my call. He was thorough in explaining my options for the work and provided a balanced assessment of the pros and cons of each. The next morning he and Juan were at the house, on time, and completed the work efficiently, quickly and they were sure any mess was cleaned up. Very pleased with the outcomes and will be sure to give Wahlborg Electric a call the next time I have the need.

My spa suddenly stopped working last week, and I knew it could be due to the circuit it was on (with 3 bathrooms). I messaged 4 electricians with high ratings on Nextdoor, AJ reached out same day, and came out next to see what was going on. He found that contractor who installed our patio 20+ years ago did electrical wrong, he repaired that, and replaced the inside outlets and GFCI the very next day. There is an issue with spa itself also, but he has me ready to go with proper electrical when that issue fixed.

FYI - I messaged 4 electricians twice (won't name here). 1 replied after 2nd message, but said 1st availability was May 4th, 6 weeks out. Other 2 never even replied.

Big thank you to AJ Walborg and Juan for their service. I may be adding lights in my garage, and they will be who I call.

Very responsive and knowledgeable! After the storms we lost power to several outlets. We called Wahlborg After hours and left a message. Wasn't expecting a call back until the next business day however we got a callback that evening with a message explaining some troubleshooting we could do. AJ was able to make time to come by the next day to assess and was able to figure out the problem within minutes and didn't gouge me with a trip charge. Awesome service and we would recommend him to all our friends and neighbors!

I had them out to install electricity for my garage door, not only was the job done professionally it was done cleanly and efficiently. I posted the pictures of before and after. I am extremely happy with the work. AND it was done for a very fair price!!!

First off. It is nice when an electrician is responsive and answers their phone. You don't always get that in Phoenix since it is such a busy area for the tradesmen. Mr Wahlborg is an extremely knowledgeable electrician and I felt he was up front with me about the electrical situation in my home and what was up to code and what wasn't. I didn't feel forced at all to make any changes that didn't fit my budget, rather felt more informed than before.

After rewiring and moving some outlets he was able to hang some ceiling fans and wall mounted lights. What makes Mr Wahlborg great was his attention to detail. My wife and I bought some high end fixtures from Houzz and he treated them with the utmost care. He made sure the fans were flush and the wall mounted lights were level.

Thanks for help and having our back while we try and transform our older home into something more beautiful.

AJ just left my house and He was excellent! He was punctual, nice, clean, and fast! I had AJ install an outlet in my bathroom. I figured it would be messy and difficult to come off of one outlet to make another one but AJ made it look easy! My wife and ai are super happy with the job that was performed. AJ was great to work with, he protected the countertops with a new cover before he did any work. The cleanup was perfect and did additional work not in the original work order.

You don't run into companies like this one often. One of my friends down the street owns a yoga studio and has run into issues with the electrical system. She called an electrician and they wanted 7,000 for the job. I told her to get a second opinion and gave her Wahlborg's number. He came in and fixed the problem for less than 300 dollars. She then called me to say thank you for giving her AJ's number. This is the type of company that's honest and is there to take care of the customer. In this day and age that's tough to find. Thank you AJ and Wahlborg Electric Company!
