Victor was very professional and extremely responsive (responded to my texts on the weekend and gave me a call while I was at Home Depot picking out locks). His prices were roughly what others were quoting, but he is well-spoken, knowledgeable and friendly so I went with him. I would recommend him and will use him again in the future if needed.

Lost my key and I had no idea where it was. Phone was about to die and it was raining. Needless to say I needed someone as fast as possible. Called pop a lock and the guy said 30mins (actually got here in 30mins) and price was actually really great for opening and re-keying my place. I would recommend this for anyone who gets as unlucky as me and needs to get into their house quickly.

Eric is responsive and knowledgeable. He wanted to make sure the programming of the fob worked before he cut the key. Then he made sure the key was cut correctly. He took his time to make sure everything was working.

Outstanding service!  As soon as I emailed a request, he responded w/in 1 minute - blew my mind.  He came early the next morning and changed all of my locks. He wasn't pushy or "salesman-like" at all - just straightforward, friendly, incredibly knowledgeable, and super fast!  Will definitely call him again for any locksmith services.

In process of moving.  Accidentally locked all keys in Casita.  Called and very quickly responded.  Took about 5 minutes to open the casita door.  Shocked when told bill was $199.00 for 5 minutes work.

We had two homes re-keyed one due to a lockout one was a new purchase . The service was timely and technicians arrived on time, the quality of work was excellent and Moses the first technician went out of his way to free my locked in dog !! Outstanding company!!!! Terry came to my house and re-keyed every exterior door at our new home. He was on time and very respectful. He was so much cheaper than the other crooks I had called. His prices are better than fair. Terry cares about his customers and his work is top notch.

I had expected the worst when I asked for their services but honestly I received the best service I have ever had. I just can't say enough about Terry and his company. They advertise that they are a veteran owned business and they sure conduct business like they are. I am a veteran and I try to give all my business to veteran owned businesses.

Yes, we too, found our locksmith on Yelp!  Jeff and Michael did an outstanding job.  They showed up on time, provided excellent service, were respectful and knowledgeable, charged very fair prices, and they cleaned up after themselves.  What more could you ask for?  These guys are very thorough, detail-oriented and efficient.  They don't rush through a job, they make sure they get it right the first time and we appreciate that!

Got locked out of our truck at 6am. He answered right away when I called and came within the hour to help us. Got us back in the truck in 5 mins. Thank you!

I sent several quotes and used Yelp for help with my truck and almost everyone that answered said my town was too far (even though they had my town as part of their area of service.  JJ answers my quote and although he was over 60 miles one way, he said he would come and help me.  He made several stops along the way for equipment and by the time he left, I was in my vehicle and keys made.  He was very professional and although I know he is in this business to make money, he did not flinch of driving 120 miles round trip to not only help someone, but he gained a future customer.  Thank you...

My MIL is bedridden and her caretaker locked himself out of the house with her stuck inside.

I called Alcatraz and the man I talked to was so nice. He knew he couldn't get someone there right away so he gave me the number of another locksmith who was able to get out.

How wonderful to find a business that cares more about the customer than getting the money!

Requested a quote and within minutes had a response, The technician was on the way and within the hour or-so, my antique family China hutch was open!

Great customer service.  Easy to schedule.  Expert showed up, and not only re-keyed 7 doors, but labor effort also included installing two (2) door knobs.

In addition, he (Steve) adjusted two (2) of the doors to lock more effectively and open/close smoothly.

Definitely would use the Lock Shop again.

The locksmith was hired to install new door locks and deadlocks on the house's exterior doors. Additionally, the locksmith was also hired to re-kay all new door locks & deadbolts to be the same key. This service was contracted due to the fact that I purchased a new house and wanted to change out all exterior locks.
Total number of doors to receive new locks = 5
Total number of keys requested to be keyed alike = 6
The locksmith arrived and started his work. Upon completion of the above-stated scope of work, the locksmith stated he had checked all doors, locks, and keys. The locksmith handed me a set of six keys and asked that I also check the doors/locks and keys to ensure they worked.
I walked the house and tested 2-3 random keys in each lock, turning each key to engage the lock and ensuring they turned freely and locked as they should.
The locksmith took my credit, charged me for the service, then left. My family and I then went out to lunch and ran a couple of errands. Upon our return, we unlocked the security front door and attempted to unlock the main front door deadbolt. The lock would not move or operate.
I went and tried the side door that had a new lock installed, and the keys unlocked the deadbolt and doorknob locks - however - there is a security door frame lock installed on the other side of this door, so I was not able to open the door.
I promptly called the locksmith back and explained to him that the front door deadbolt was not functioning and that my family and I were locked outside (in Arizona heat with a five-year-old and eight old and dogs kenneled inside the house). The locksmith immediately began arguing with me that the fault was mine for not checking every key in every lock. I explained to the locksmith that regardless of not checking every single key in every lock (I checked 2-3 random keys in every lock), the defect was most definitely caused by the installation process and not caused by a double-check process. The locksmith also admitted that he was responsible for checking every key in every lock, which did not happen.
The locksmith stated that he would see if there was someone he could get out to the house to drill out our brand new lock and let us in. I received a call from another locksmith company who *Ace Locksmith had, called to help me. This new locksmith stated it would cost me $200 - $300 for him to make an emergency call and perform a drill out of my lock. So *Ace Locksmith's support and resolution of their failed installation was to charge their customer to fix their mistake. I declined the service and called the original locksmith back.
When I called *Ace Locksmith back, I was told again that the issue was my fault and that there was nothing he could do for me. I requested that the original locksmith come to my house to let my family and me in and fix his mistake - which he declined to do. I then asked that the original locksmith refund me 100% of the charges for the services as my only resort left was to break into my house. The cost of repairing the broken window or door that I would need to break to get in would cost more than the total of the original botched job that the locksmith had done. He also declined to refund me the total costs.
I ended up having to break into my house, damaging my door frame, so I could finally let my children inside.
This locksmith performs poor quality installations and does not stand behind their work as a craftsman. The company's customer service is horrible. I now have keys that I paid for that do not open my front door and a broken side door frame.

Super friendly, quick, really reasonably priced, open on weekends and easy walk in service!
