Lost the key to my Jeep and replacements were back-ordered at my dealer. Found an OEM replacement on-line and brought it here to be programmed. Took about 20 minutes and they charged a bit less than their quote. Note that they also sell replacement units here and programming is a bit cheaper if you buy the unit here. All in all, very happy with my experience.

I needed a second key programmed for a used car I just bought. I was headed to the dealership until my mechanic recommended The Lock Shop. Saved a lot of money (they charge far less than the dealership)! They have a huge selection of keys but didn't have the right one for my car. But it's okay because they got it ordered in one day. Talked to two different people on the two different days I was there and both were super knowledgeable, helpful and friendly which are things that always make me want to come back and also to share my experience with others!

Little side note: for a few extra dollars, ask them to make a metal key for your car. It won't have a computer chip in it so it won't start your ignition, but it will unlock the door and if you ever need another key programmed, it'll save you money because it can be used to make one of those programmed keys. Seems like a good idea to have that on hand!

The lock mechanism on one of our French Doors broke and, without The Lock Shop's involvement, we would have ended up having to replace the entire door set. Window Mart (who manufactured the doors) was being problematic in honoring their lifetime warranty because the hardware had been discontinued (but was still available aftermarket). Kathy at The Lock Shop worked with Window Mart to settle our warranty claim and order the parts. Stephen came out several times and had to do some modification to get the parts to fit, but he kept at it and now our doors are as good as new! He was polite and professional and a pleasure to have in our home. We are very grateful for everything The Lock Shop did to help us get this resolved without having to replace what were otherwise perfectly good doors. Two thumbs up!

Do not go to your dealership to purchase a spare key for your vehicle. The dealership MIGHT charge you twice as much as these folks. The dealership MIGHT not even have the key in stock. The dealership MIGHT not tell you they will have to order the key while setting up your appointment even though they already have all your vehicle information on file.

Lastly, don't even bother with another locksmith if you are expecting fast, easy and friendly service. Other locksmiths MIGHT give you attitude and make you wait before realizing they cannot help you either.

These lovely and professional folks were the best ever. My friend died and her religious sisters came from minnesota to help me clean up the house. the deadbolt was broken and they were afraid to sleep in the house. Lock Shop came right over and repaired it for very reasonable price and the Sisters slept peacefully and safely the rest of their stay. Extra credit for being so kind and patient with the three of us very old ladies.

The doorknob on the side garage door turned, but the internal mechanism would not retract the latch. So, for the next two weeks, I began a journey of sweat, toil, and anger.

I searched the Internet and YouTube for answers and tried several hopeful remedies. Removing the door hinges was first, but after viewing their configuration, it was not possible. I won't go into everything. I tried hoping tomorrow I would win.

On my last day trying, the thought of destroying the door came to mind but faded after some rest. I searched the Internet and saw a conversation post about others with the same problem at their wit's end. A person replied with a simple solution, "You may have to call a locksmith."

A month prior, a family member had all their locks rekeyed. They gave me the name of this company, and I called the next day within minutes of them opening. They scheduled me the same day and within a few hours of our availability.

The technician immediately retracted the latch and opened the door. I felt dumb, although I was told there was nothing I could have done since these situations occur. Instead, a new internal mechanism was installed with the same knob.

Expect a service fee and other related costs. In this case, I should have called earlier. It was worth it.

During the last 3-years, I have had many contractors of many specialties at my house for big projects. But unfortunately, their excuses, shoddy work, and laziness have jaded me where I dread calling anyone to provide service.

The BIG deal of our interaction with the Lock Shop was the promptness, friendliness, and straight-to-the-point service, with no upselling. Lock Shop, you have broken the mold and restored my faith that awesome folks are still in business to provide quality service.

We just moved from California and we didn't feel safe with the current locks in our rental home. Because of the great reviews from Yelp I decided to give them a call. After putting a quote request online late in the evening, I received a response first thing in the morning. I was able to schedule a date and time for them to come in.

I appreciate they are family owned because they definitely make you feel like a part of their family with great customer service and sincere care. They are very knowledgable and I am grateful to Kathy for saving us from having to spend extra $$'s to change all of our locks when it wasn't even necessary.

Jeff came out to fix our current locks and install a night lock. I explained my concerns and he right away was able to examine and fix the problem. Also I recently had a Hello Kitty key copied at Loews and he was generous to rekey it to match our locks without me asking. He did an amazing job in fixing our locks and adjusting our door so that the locks would latch on securely. I feel so much better now and I can sleep better knowing our doors are secured.

The Lock Shop is absolutely amazing! Jeff came out to my business to install some new commercial door handles. These needed to be keyed to a 2 key system. He interpreted what my needs would be and tackled the job. He knocked it out of the park! It was done in a very timely manner and he was very professional in every way. Normally, locksmiths cost an arm and a leg and just do an OK job. Not here! The cost was below what you would find at other places but WITH outstanding work. This place deserves your business! Don't miss out and go to the other guy. They offer so many services and really put the customer first. The Lock Shop is the only locksmith around as far as I am concerned.

We locked out keys in the car and had to go and search for a locksmith and found the lock shop on Yelp. They were quick and good priced. This was our only key to our car and we realized they can make keys with the chip in it for a really good cost and were able to fix a door we were having issues with. Great company and great service. We are so happy to have chosen The Lock Shop to service our new home! From requesting a quote to completing the job, The Lock Shop team was courteous, thorough, and provides service at a great price. We ended up needing a couple deadbolts and they were kind enough to go to Lowe's up the street from our home to pick them up and install them as part of the job. In total we had something like 8-10 locks that needed to be re-keyed, plus 3 garage remotes paired, and a garage key pad re-set to a new pin. Everything was complete in about an hour! He had us test all the keys, remotes, and new pin before requesting payment, and even showed us the somewhat scary DIY job the previous owners had done on a couple of the locks (zip-ties!). I would highly recommend The Lock Shop for anyone's future needs.

These guys rock... I had a lock that was broken. The service that they offer is exactly what you would expect from a reputable business. They are not the cheapest, but I appreciate that as I want them to be around the next time that I need a lock repair. The lock that I had was in a security door, so it was generic. They had to figure out what would work. They ordered installed the lock, and now it works perfectly. I will definitely use them for any locksmith needs in the future.

First, I telephoned after 3 PM and spoke to Taylor. She made me feel secure and the pricing she gave felt honest, as well as excellent. It is a family owned business and so her brother, Jeff, came to my home. And...it was the same day, about 20 minutes later! Unheard of!!! Customer service is an absolute lost art these days. That said, the family at The Lock Shop definitely have a passion for perfecting that art and providing that to their customers.

To preface this review, I had been having car starting issues. I had a very old and janky remote/ chip key and the car would intermittently start.

I placed two calls into AAA the first of which sold me on a new battery. The second call when I continued to have issues assured me it wasn't my battery but was my key.

So when I finally placed a call into "the LOCK shop" I was clearly a bit exhausted with all the running around.

The LOCK Shop eased my frustrations from the very beginning of my experience. The representative on the phone was very knowledgeable, asked all sorts of questions and actually listened. Within 30 minutes I had a technician, Jeff, I think his name was, out to my house to swoop up the key and cut it at the shop. He was back to my house within 30 minutes and programming my key.

Jeff was able to diagnose the starting issues I was having to be an overlooked joint on my battery that was loose that he ended up tightening down for me which resulted in my car starting every time. So, while I didn't necessarily NEED a new key right away, I got one as a result of AAA telling me it was my key and I was GLAD about it even though It was their overlooking the problem that caused me to spend an unexpected chunk of money on a new key.

Thanks to Jeff and the rest of The Lock Shop, I now have a brand new key which works amazing, my car starts every time, and I can rest assured knowing they gave me the best deal and the absolute best customer service.

I went in with a brand new key fob and left with a broken one. Informed cashier that the key release on key fob was broken and she replied "that's how it was". I was expecting more-
1. Own the fact that you broke the key release on my key fob.
2. At least offer an apology and a discount for your error.
3. Offer to order me a new one.

I paid full price for their service and left with a broken key fob.
Very disappointed, this is not how I do business.

Word of advice: take a picture of your key fob before you hand it over.

I was in a desperate situation - locked out of my car and late for work. I called three other locksmiths - one of whom didn't even answer, and the other two took messages and said they would call back. The Lock Shop answered immediately, put me on hold to see where their technician was, and since he was nearby, sent him immediately to help me. Great customer service. Easy to schedule. Expert showed up, and not only re-keyed 7 doors, but labor effort also included installing two (2) door knobs.

In addition, he (Steve) adjusted two (2) of the doors to lock more effectively and open/close smoothly.

It was quite late in the afternoon when I realized I lost my key. I had been highly recommended to The Lock Shop but figured it was too late to have someone come to issue me new keys for the new thingee they had changed for me. At least I now knew if my lost keys were found, they wouldn't work on my old thingee ever again!!!
Taylor handled my call and questions so, so kindly and pleasantly, and she advised that Stephen would be out to service my needs within 30 minutes...AND HE WAS!!!!!! He arrived smiling and friendly and proceeded to do his job quite skillfully. He quoted the same price Taylor had advised me. I highly recommend the Lock Shop! Jeff and Steve and the staff of The Lock Shop were amazing. We could not get the key to turn in the ignition to be able to start our RV. Jeff and Steve came out to our RV and found that the ignition cylinder was damaged. Since a replacement would have taken a long time to get, and was very expensive, Jeff took apart the cylinder and repaired it. Now our RV is up and running! I've stopped in here probably 4 or 5 times now for various keys (I am a property manager). The best part for sure is that everyone is so friendly, and they have adorable keys. I would recommend them to anyone looking to get key copies as well as any re-keying you might need. Do be aware though that you need to purchase at least $10 worth of stuff to be able to use your card I always forget and end up with an extra key being made. .

P.S. If you are getting a house key I really recommend going with a large base for the key, I got the largest one they had and now opening the house is a breeze while carrying everything from the car.

Needed a spare key which I provided, for my vehicle cut and programmed. They were able to get me in, no appointment necessary, had the new remote programmed without a hitch, new blank cut, and were done in under 10 minutes. It took me longer to drive from my house then it took them to get all of it done. The price was the best in the valley as I called around, got quotes and did my homework. Friday, June 29 I place a call to The Lock Shop and requested to have
someone to come to my home and take care the lock of my security
door since I had problem and I couldn't lock it correctly.
I made the appointment for Monday July the 2nd. between 9.00 and
11.00 in the morning and a few minutes later I received The Lock Shop
confirmation, but to surprise nobody show up for the appointment on
Monday, no explanation, no courtesy call, just didn't show up, period.
Bad servise, bad customer care. Shame on you people of The Lock Shop.

So I locked myself out of the house today. I was freaking out. The only thing I had was my phone.. I had no water, no car keys.. nothing. The son, Jeff, is a "ZZ-Top-worthy" bearded young guy who was not only friendly, but very knowledgable, and customer focused. Jeff, Senior, should be proud because his son represented the business amazingly. I am a single mom who works from home, and my child is 16 months old. If I could give the Lock Shop more than 5 stars I would! You know a business is great when you sign up for yelp just so you can leave them a review. They are an incredible local, family owned shop that offers great work and unbeatable customer service. After moving into our new house, we hired them to rekey the doors. They came to us and had the doors rekeyed quickly and without any trouble. Afterwards we were telling them that we were wanting to get new knobs and hinges for the bedroom doors. Fortunately for us, we were able to purchase the new hardware from them and they even came back to the house to do the installation. If you are trying to find a great locksmith look no further. You wont find a better locksmith business than the Lock Shop. Thank you very much Howards!

Full service locksmith! In a time where it's becoming increasingly more difficult to find honorable professionals, The Lock Shop is a breathe of fresh air. Family run and operated. Do yourself a favor and use these folks for all your locksmith needs. They have come to my house and made keys for a truck that we lost the keys for, and I have brought locks and handles to the shop for keys to be cut from code. These guys and gals can do it all.

Taylor helped me order a replacement key for my explorer, she was very helpful and followed back up with me when the key came in. Only took 15 minutes after arriving at their shop for them to finish programming and have my car ready. Very professional and reasonably priced!

Awesome customer service. Scheduled the appointment and the technician Stephen showed up on time. He was courteous, professional and took great care in doing a nine lock re-key for us. One of the sweetest guys I have ever met came to my house and got my locks undone, done with in 5 minutes or less. That is for the whole transaction including payment. I will use them again if I ever need a locksmith.

A woman gave me a used product! I went all the way home, opened the package and could tell it was used because it was scratched and certain parts were missing and wasn't able to assemble. When I tried to return it the same day, she pulled a guy out ... husband? I don't know. They refused to give me a refund and said "either keep it or return it without a refund." Never again. How disappointing. Do not recommend. First locksmith experience in Arizona. There was a language barrier and I wished I stood up for myself.

I e-mailed Jeff at the lock shop, I had two Dodge key with the fob attached needing to be cut and programed. Jeff quoted me a very fair price for both keys to be cut and programed. The local Dodge dealer wanted about 20 dollars more. Jeff even gives a Military discount of 10%. Jeff's wife and daughter completed the cutting and programing of both keys within 15 minute with an out the door price that I could take my wife out to dinner with the savings.
I did call one other key shop ACME I think it is called wanted 2 dollars per side to cut plus the programing. They wanted more then the Dodge dealer wanted.
Jeff is a very fair person and his family provided a great service.

This is a great place for all your lock and key cutting needs. We had only one key fobit for our VW van and they were able to program a new one we had bought on Amazon for the best price in the valley and way cheaper than the VW dealer wanted to do it for. Very friendly gal did the work.

I recently locked myself out of my house (don't ask). I called several places on Yelp to get some assistance and every business was too busy or didn't answer their phone. I then noticed the ad on Yelp for The Lock Shop so I called hoping I wouldn't get the run around like the other places I called. To my surprise, a very pleasant lady answered promptly and got Jeff dispatched to my house right away. Even though she said he would be there in 30 minutes, he was there in less than 15 minutes. Jeff was professional, friendly, and just my kind of personality that makes me want to support this business 100%. I also received a follow-up call from Taylor and a 10% discount and thank you letter in the mail. The Lock Shop is great and I will definitely use them again for keys, lock outs, etc.

This is a true legitimate owner owned and operated business and I could tell by the professionalism of the person that contacted me and the person who came to do the work. They actually care! They moved around their schedule to accommodate me and came the next morning on a Saturday to do the work. When the technician was here he noticed another issue with my framing and tried to fix it but didn't have the proper equipment. This had nothing to do with the service they were called out for. Then after the technician left they called me and said they didn't feel right about my door frame and went and bought the tool that would fix it and were at my gate to fix it free of charge. Wow!! I am amazed. This never happens anymore and most are just looking to make their money and leave as soon as they can. I'm am so impressed as a person who has run a few businesses I am a tough critic. This business will now always have my business!

Wow. We locked ourselves out of the house on a Saturday night after 7. They answered their phone and dispatched a tech within 20-30 minutes. The Tech quickly determined how best to get us in our house and took care of the problem efficiently. The charge was very reasonable; especially considering it was after-hours. They quoted me a 30-45 minute wait time but the Locksmith arrived even sooner than that. I think it was only about 20 minutes. Jody was fast & friendly and he went above & beyond just helping me with being locked out, he also helped me with a domestic issue that occurred while he was there. Besides being a great locksmith, Jody ended up also being a life saver. Forever grateful for good people who do the right thing even when it involves a complete stranger. So impressed! We called The Lock Shop to come change locks on our new home. We selected them based on Yelp reviews - so I wanted to come back and let you know that they really are as good as everyone says they are!
From our first contact, we have been impressed. The woman answering the phones was prompt, friendly and helpful.
We had 11 interior locks and 3 gates that needed rekeying. Jeff arrived on time and his bright and friendly personality was a welcomed sight during the stress of moving. He had some great ideas that saved us from having to carry around a set of keys that would put a janitor to shame. A master key that unlocks everything and then separate gate only keys for the yard/pool companies. Genius!
He had knowledge about the knobs/locks we have on the house that was helpful information for us to have.
He worked quickly and efficiently and their prices were great!
They are our new go-to for all of our locksmith needs - HIGHLY Recommended!

The lock shop has a customer for life. Their staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They work fast and I love that they have reasonable time slots for service!! With most companies you'll get an outrageous 4 hour time frame for service but The Lock Shop gave me an hour window and were right on time. No waiting, no jacked up unreasonable prices. You won't regret using them!

I have never left a review before but I feel compelled after the fantastic service Jeff and team provided tonight. I had so many questions around getting new key/ignition for my vehicle and Taylor was patient and knowledgeable through them all over the phone. Jeff had to come out and rekey my Jeep and was quick and efficient, even in the dark with minimal lighting! Jeff and the entire crew are awesome! Jeff replaced a lockset and rekeyed the locks on my park model a year ago. My deadbolt jammed recently and I could not turn it to open the door. Jeff was here within 90 minutes, solved the problem, plus checked the door alignment and tightened all the screws- at no charge! Everyone I have dealt with at The Lock Shop has been courteous and professional. They treat their customers like family- such a refreshing experience!

These guys are awesome, came out same day to rekey all our office locks. They made us several copies and made sure they all worked. Very professional family owned business and I just loved their customer service. They really go out of their way. We screwed up and my assistant left the wrong key for me and when I called at 5 am they were ready to help me out. Couldn't believe they answered that early so they handle emergencies. Just WOW!! I lost my only set of Honda car keys. I worked through a different locksmith to come and make a backup key. One week later, my wife found my original set. The new set changed the program so my old set did not work. Plus, my old set had the wireless entry, which also didn't work. I asked around for someone who could make sure both keys worked. I started with the dealer ($160? No thanks.). So I started asking around on Yelp. Taylor, the business owner reached out and gave me a price that was 50%-75% lower than other offers and more important, it was a FLAT RATE. None of this "starting at" nonsense or random fees or charges. I made an appointment and met Taylor at the shop. Literally 10 minutes later both of my keys worked and my wireless entry was programmed as well. Super fast, friendly, and responsibly priced. I will definitely look to use Taylor and The Lock Shop the next time I need something done. Thank you so much!! A+++

LOVE this place!

After taking my new Ford Explorer to the dealership to have the oil changed, a strange "My Key" feature started working on my car (which causes the car radio to turn off unless your seatbelt is on, and won't let the vehicle go over 80 mph - which stinks when you are trying to pass someone on the freeway). I called the dealership to ask them how to get rid of this feature and they told me that I would need a second key (which we lost right after buying the vehicle) and new reprogramming, at a cost of around $200.00. NO WAY was I paying $200! So I went on Amazon and found a new key blank for $20.00 (instead of $110 at the dealership) and then shopped around for a locksmith to cut and program it.

The Lock Shop was by far the cheapest of all the people I called. They charged around $5 to cut the key for me and about $50 to reprogram my original key and the new one. So they programmed TWO keys and I got it all for about 1/3 the price the dealership quoted me.

Taylor was very friendly and got the job done quickly. I think I was there for a total of 30 minutes. (The dealership told me it would take one hour to program - to justify their high cost, I guess.)

I will definitely be using The Lock Shop again - THANK YOU!!!

this is a top notch business from this xperience. jeff, the technician was on time, courteous, conversational. he was open to options to resolve the situation. we're glad we took his suggestion to replace the door knob as the old knob spring was all but sprung! apparently we xplained our problem well on the phone to set up the appointment, as the price was xactly as quoted. this is a very straightforward business based on this xperience. highly recommended
