I just moved to Scottsdale and wanted a couple of keys made.  I found Mercury and went in, they were very friendly.  I had 2 house keys and 2 mailbox keys made.  I went home the house key was fine but the mailbox key didn't work.  I went back and I think the owner was there and said he would come to my house and fix it.  I couldn't believe he came here and fixed it in 2 minutes.  Now that is service.  Love this place.  They will always get my business

A+ Experience. Called on Thursday and got a Friday morning appointment to change locks at our new house.
Was advised they would call when they were in route.  Down to business on arrival. Very pleasant and professional, and priced reasonably. No complaints whatsoever and would not hesitate to recommend. Found our new locksmith!  Many thanks Scott and Terry for a job done right.

Peter did an AMAZING job for our clients! We are real estate agents and had a client who moved out of the country and took all his keys to the home, expecting us to use the electronic keypad for access. That worked great until the battery pack died and we had zero access to the home for sale!! Peter was able to arrive quickly, gain access to the home, rekey the entire home(with smart locks) and change the battery pack in the electronic keypad - all for a very reasonable price. We highly recommend Peter and his company, Surprise Locksmith, for any and all your locksmith needs!

Just like everyone else who has to call a locksmith: "Damn!  How dumb was that?!"  Frustration mounts because, well, in most cases you blew it by doing something stupid.  Needed to get a MTB off a locked roof rack and had forgotten the key.  United answered on the Saturday of Labor Day weekend and was here to help in 30 minutes.  Job accomplished with great service.

NOTE: If you are reading this review and have a locked ski rack or roof box, try United versus trying to find a master key.

There's all these 5 stars for a reason, their service was awesome!! They called to ask me a few questions before the appointment and once I got there, it took less than 10 minutes for them to replicate the key and program the new fob to my car. Plus the price was half of what the dealer was requesting for the same thing. Would 1000% recommend.

Standing in long afte waiting for 1 and a half hours   for the locksmith to show up after there dispatch said 25 Muints. The lock Smith was rude condescending and totally in un, professional. Ge stsrted telling me it would take 3 or 4 hours to rekey a tsilgste lock . His boss said it would not be a probelm but it was for him .After talking with the owner of company he did the job . I have used Scottsdale lock and safe for years with no problem.... I will rethink where i do  business in the future. Customer service lacking customer service. Very poor here reconsider doing any business. There are three people waiting here hours. Not a good pelis

I called JT's with great desperation for them to fix my mailbox lock. I had misplaced my keys... aka gone forever and I had a package with perishables in my mailbox.

I went to the post ofiice hoping to obtain a new key where I was greeted with warm and welcoming arms.. oh wait who am I kidding?! I was told it was my problem and they didnt have a key. I called the locksmith they recommended but they couldnt come out for 4 days. After a quick yelp search  JTs popped up. Good reviews.. sold... I called and told the receptionist (his wife) about my problem and she was sooooo kind and understanding. She gave me a quote and explained everything. She put me on the books for the next day! Jeremiah the next day after a call from his wife that he was on his way.. can you say customer service?! When he arrived he was sooooo nice. I explained jow I tried to fix the problem myself but made things worse. He didn't  sweat it.. I'm pretty sure he was done within 20 minutes if that. He came back to the door and provided me with 3 keys. The lock he used was a usps lock. The service was incredible.  They got me in their schedule quick and the job was done in a jiffy. 10/10!! I'll be using them for every locksmith problem I encounter.

Called to ask a few questions as I am new to buying a safe. The man that answered the phone told me just to go the website or come in.  He definitely did not want to take the time to answer a question. He was rude and abrupt.. I then told him that I would call another safe company as I thought that he was rude. He responded OK and hung up. Not the kind of person that I would want to do business with. Not customer oriented. I then called another safe company. They were totally different. Answered my questions and told me to call back if I could think of any other questions. Yes, we are going there today to buy a safe. Great customer service skills.

I don't ordinarily gush about a lock and safe place but i am about to gush. I went to two places to get my 20 year old worn out car (door and ignition) key copied. I had been to two places prior each saying that the key was too torqued and too worn to work with. They generously tried but created keys that didn't work (didn't open the door or start the car). They both said, "Go to Prescott lock and safe". I did. The guy there (i think the owner... at least he said he had been doing this for 19 years (or such)... was a total master. A guru. An expert. He looked at the key and worked his magic. I explained that previous folks failed and he mentioned how the wear on the key made it tough... he had to adjust be a couple thousands of an inch (not cut as much as my key suggested) in order to accommodate for the decades of wear. After several excited (as in he loves what he does) trips between his shop and the car, he touched up the keys, improved with each effort... hand filed for perfection etc. AND, he lubed the locks until he handed me two keys (for 5$ total) that were perfect! The locks and keys worked better than they had for nearly 20 years. I kept saying to myself "wow!" "Wow!" as it was a true pleasure to work with a top expert who loves his work and it really shows.  I rushed home and excitedly told my wife and bored my kids with how amazed i was.  

So, there you have it...in this time and culture where expertise on many topics can be denigrated and dismissed, in this internet culture where everyone's opinion somehow "matters" and everyone thinks themselves an "expert", it is a real pleasure to work with a bonafide expert... and this guy is it. There's no substitute for the real thing!  

Maybe i'll take all my keys there for a pick-me-up. If your car door locks work rough, or any key/lock you have works rough... this is your guy.

disclosure: i don't know this guy, never went to the store before, never heard of the store before i went there yesterday.

I made an appointment online and it was confirmed.  The technician called me the morning of.  

I was in the middle of directing traffic with movers and the pool guy on a house I had closed escrow on one hour before.  Robert showed up promptly, I showed him my locks.  He explained my options without trying to upsell me as I had a lock not like the others.   He laid out my options and we chose one based on the fact I wanted everything keyed alike.

Robert finished his work quickly and efficiently and I was charged a fair price with no surprises..  If only the rest of my house purchase went as smoothly as my appointment with Robert at Mr Rekey.  Thanks!

Ernie is a great guy and has been in the game for 30 years and knows his stuff. He was wonderful to talk to and work with. He helped me make a custom key work for my car that was originally intended for a miata.

Fred was great! Was at my place when he said he would be and got the job done in no time. If your looking for reliability and speed these are your guys.  I'd definitely use again. Quality service.

I had a difficult case other locksmiths could not handle.  I had scooter battery lock with no key.  B's Lock and Key showed up exactly when he said he would and was able to make me two keys so I could access the batteries and charge them.  So professional kind and reasonably priced.   He had to hand make the key using an old motorcycle key blank.   So relieved to not have to ditch the scooter because couldn't unlock battery.  Thank you!

I took a key in to be copied. Little Jim did the work for $3. However, he pointed out that the cuts on the key weren't very deep. He said a burglar using a special key could easily manipulate the tumblers and defeat the lock.

At his suggestion, I removed the lock from the door and brought it to him. He hoped to re-key it, but the cylinder was old and shot. So he dug out a used cylinder from his collection and re-keyed that. Cost: $10, including two new keys. He did the work while I waited.

Little Jim is very pleasant, and he knows his business. You won't do any better!

I have to say I'm surprised they are still in Buisness as they are so rude and unprofessional.  Asked about having a key cut and when quoted a price I questioned why was it so high as the last time I was there it was $12 now it's $44  and he went off on me and told me go get it somewhere else and was laughing it off like some kind of clown.  I will never go back there ever again and recommend anybody else to look else where.
