Best Plumbing Services in Charlotte, NC
The three star rating is in regards to their pricing and lack of Covid precautions. Neither of the service techs wore masks even though I answered my door wearing one (and Yelp info states that they wear them). The invoice was for $275 which was listed as a service call (unclog kitchen sink drain). After receiving the invoice I checked with a few other local plumbers and the max estimate they quoted for the job was $140. The team was prompt and they completed the job in under 10 minutes and I have not had any issues since so their work was 5 star quality. I just didn't want anyone else to have the sticker shock that I did and if you are taking Covid seriously you may want to confirm/insist they wear masks ahead of time (I felt awkward saying something once they were already there even though I had my own mask on). Update - I changed my rating to four stars after Jason reached out to me personally to discuss my concerns. He was very apologetic about the no masks and he explained the cost which had been communicated to the owner of my condo upfront (they had not communicated it to me and I was the one paying for the work). I appreciated his concern for his customers satisfaction.

This is by far the BEST plumbing experience I have ever had. Our hot water heater blew today. I called All Hours Plumbing at 2 pm and by 4 PM I had a new hot water heater installed and working. They are fast, easy to work with, reputable, reasonably priced and just nice guys! I would highly recommend them for your plumbing needs. Thanks!!

Not only do I appreciate the fantastic job he did, but it sure was nice that he left my house spotless. E.R. Services just gained another customer! Thank you, Josh!

Nick was awesome! We just bought an older house so there were quite a few plumbing issues and past 'handyman' fixes to be repaired.
We had cast iron, copper, pex, pvc and he did it all! We removed a wall in our bathroom and he redirected our plumbing to go down a different wall and even crawled up in our tiny attic to secure the cast iron that was falling down. He also moved our water heater, plumbed in our vanities, set up our shower/handheld valves/diverters.
Can't recommend him and his partner, Burke, enough! Super responsive, punctual, and clean up well after themselves. Plus they were very sweet to our dog who is very curious and all up in their business. We will definitely be using them when we get around to doing our other bathroom!

I just have to say that I am soooo happy that I found This on Yelp! My family and I just moved into a rental property and the owner and his wife took jobs overseas so they aren't in the country and there isn't a property management company! Let's just say things have been extremely hectic and stressful with different issues that have come up one of them being that our toilet started backing up on the main floor and then the next day it was leaking into the apartment that's in the finished basement so we panicked and turned off all of the water! Which means we couldn't use the bathroom, shower nothing! The owner subscribed to American Home Shield and I called and reported the plumbing problem right away! They told me that I had to pay $107 for the service request and then wait until the contracted company called and set up an appointment! Well we ended up having to wait 3 days! The plumber finally came out and told us that it seemed to be an issue but that he wasn't able to do anything about it until we removed the mulch ourselves and that we were responsible for doing it and digging up the clean out! We were told once we found the valve and they could get complete access to it they will return!! I started to have a meltdown because I had no idea what or where this clean out was located and I had no idea what steps to take next!! He basically came and did absolutely nothing! At this point, I was so frustrated and desperate for a resolution! I mean I was using a bottle of water just to try and wash my hands and also had waste in the toilet that I couldn't flush! It was a very horrible experience! I found Will and Christine the owners of Service Pro plumbing and when I tell you I'm sooo glad I found them!! Will showed up extremely quick because he knew it was an emergent situation! He was very kind, professional, honest, trustworthy, punctual, thoughtful, caring, attentive patient, compassionate, detail oriented and most importantly competent in his knowledge and skill in the area of plumbing! He went ABOVE and Beyond my expectations and even took the time to educate us along the way! He basically told us that the first plumber incorrectly diagnosed the problem! What he found out was that it was a major issue on the city's side. He noticed that it was backed up which meant that the city had to come and fix it! And guess what Will said next!? He goes well I'll be honest I can do this job for you, snake the drain and get everything unclogged and charge you $400 OR we can call the city and report my findings and they will send someone out right away to fix it for free!! Do you know that Will even took the time to call the city of concord and explain to them what the problem was!?? Before he left, Will also gave me another tip and said to request that the city use a camera to get a better look in order to assess the damages accurately! The city workers showed up within 30min and found out that it was their issue, roots from a tree grew inside of the pipe which caused a blockage, they cleared it right away but unfortunately they will have to come back rip up the driveway and replaced the pipe because it's cracked but most importantly we were instructed to turn the water supply back on and we are allowed to finally FLUSH without worry AGAIN!! Lol He was such a blessing in disguise! He could've easily took complete advantage of the situation and my lack of expertise instead of giving us options! Yes, he could've just fixed it and charged me all of that money but instead he was so honest and definitely cared less about greed and more about saving us money which says a lot about his character and I was soooo thankful for him keeping it real with me! He only charged me $63 for the initial consultation fee and that's it!! I just want them to know how much I truly appreciate what they did for us! I would highly recommend him and his wife for all of your plumbing needs trust me you will not be disappointed!! I would definitely use them again and trust that I now have their business card tucked away for any other future issues with plumbing!

I had an obvious underground water leak in the front of my property. The sidewalk, that divides the the grass along my front curb from the lawn on my property was showing (leaking) water. Angelo from Pure Flow Plumbing in Cover, SC immediately diagnosed the problem. He said it most likely was the main water line that feeds into the house and that a tree root probably damaged the line. He was right. Unfortunately this line was under the concrete sidewalk. Angelo did a great job cutting a narrow path through the concrete, locating the broken section of water line and replacing that section. He then repaired the side walk by poring concrete and smoothing it out. Had it not been for rain, he would have finished the entire job in one day. It was great having an obviously experienced, knowledgeable person who was able to do both repairs. As a bonus, Angelo was also prompt, courteous and professional. I highly recommend Pure Flow! (Al. Ft. Mill, SC)

Charlotte Plumbing has done a great job for us on a replacement of our hot water heater a few months ago and today with a repair to a gas line. Damien is extremely professional, and we've trusted all of the work being done on our home. They also are very thorough and patient answering all of my questions. Their pricing is reasonable and fair. I would definitely recommend them.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Mike Garvey Plumbing. I have called on Mike two times in the past 2 months for work I needed done at my home. Mike is very prompt, professional and knowledgeable. I work full time so it's crucial that I can make an appointment and have the service person show up when they say they are going to so my whole day workwise is not shot (on top of a plumbing bill to boot!!) Mike has been here exactly when he says he will be - And he always calls prior to the appointment letting me know he is on his way which is an added bonus. He is very friendly (not intimidating) and very knowledgeable and explains things so 'a woman can understand'! Being a woman -not knowing much about plumbing I always worry service folks will take me to the cleaners as I do not know when something can or can't be fixed or to what extreme the repair should be - aka $$$! Do not hesitate to call on Mike Garvey Plumbing - no matter how big or small your request is. He is AMAZING! And at a very fair price!

I am an out-of-state owner, and needed a plumber to work on a house I own in Gastonia. I contacted WyattWorks, and they stated someone would call my tenant to set up an appointment. Jeremy Wallace was assigned to the case, and he arrived promptly at the agreed upon time. He took a look at the plumbing issues, drew up an invoice, and called me to advise what he found, and the cost to repair. We gave the go-ahead. The office emailed the invoice to me, I was able to sign, scan and email back for Jeremy to begin the work. Jeremy called when he was finished, emailed photos of before and after, and took the payment over the phone. First rate service from start to finish. Excellent repairs and items replaced were top quality. I would definitely recommend WyattWorks.

I called Brian Long Plumbing for a plumbing problem with my toilet. Best call I made! My toilet tank had cracked and I needed a new installation. This company is a hidden gem! I had made a dozen calls, starting with the most highly rated. None could help. Brian is extremely busy but squeezed me in for a 24 hour turnaround time. Extremely knowledgeable and honest to a fault. He has been in business for a decade. He was able to uninstall and install a new toilet in under 90 minutes, was the most reasonably priced and takes extreme pride in his work. I would absolutely recommend Brian to anyone needing a plumber and he will be my first call if ever needed again.

I had a real plumbing emergency upon returning from vacation. My upstairs toilet overflowed severely. Justin provided excellent customer service via the telephone. Walking me through how to shut off my water in my home and advising me that he would be to me immediately to help me get to the bottom of what was going on. He was very polite, helpful, and he educated me on what exactly transpired, very quick and efficient. I definitely would highly recommend this company. Should you experienced any plumbing emergencies highly recommended.

My girlfriend called these guys and the people are polite, capable and courteous, but their pricing for a simple sink drain cleanout is insane. $89 for a trip charge (not credited into the job) + $473 to snake the drain for a pre tax total of $562; with tax a total of $602.75. This job was less than an hour onsite.
They claim upfront pricing, but do not give even rough pricing over the phone and will tell you that a knowledgable technician will call you and schedule an appointment. The upfront pricing comes when they are on site and the clock is running with, in our case, an intimidated lady feeling trapped into the deal.
I have over 25 years in the construction industry as a licensed general contractor/remodeler/inspector and while I appreciate trade work and the cost to value as it relates to skill and overhead expense, there are some things that are way out of line. I would have done this myself, but my girlfriend was trying not to worry me with a simple problem leaving me to find out after the fact when I saw the invoice.
Once again these guys get the job done, but for a simple drain cleanout it would be in your best interest to shop elsewhere.

I've just been through a three-day ordeal with my air conditioner, in the first heat wave of the Carolina summer. Thursday night, my outside unit died completely. I called Morris-Jenkins (MJ) and they didn't have any evening appointments available but did schedule me for 8:00 a.m. the next morning.
A tech named Thomas arrived in the morning, right on time. He spent three hours here working on the outdoor unit and checking things upstairs. I had let my Priority Advantage contract slip, so he got me set up on that again, which saved me on the diagnostic fee and completely cleaned the outside unit for free (covered under their PA plan, twice a year). He also found that the capacitor was blown and replaced that. My unit is still under parts warranty, and I believed under labor warranty, so there was no charge for that. When he left, the unit was working at starting to cool the house again.
I left for the day, and when I returned it was short cycling and had only cooled the house from 78 to 76. I called again and they were able to get someone scheduled to come between 9:00 and midnight on Friday night. They asked me to shut off the unit completely so it didn't cause any additional damage to other parts. I turned it off, and the tech (I believe his name was Chris), arrived around 10:30 p.m. We turned the unit back on, and of course, the short-cycling did not reoccur. The unit ran steadily the entire time he was here. He flushed the drain line and did some other stuff on it, and also ordered me a thermostatic valve. He let me know that I had just run out of labor warranty, and the tech in the morning probably didn't charge me because it was out a couple of weeks. He put the thermostatic valve in under warranty but said I would need to start paying labor from the point on. No worries. :) Unit was cooling the house well when he left.
Woke up Saturday morning and it seemed good. In the evening the thermostat started acting a bit squirrelly. Although it seemed to be holding temp at 73, it was still more humid in here than normal. Since it was night, I just went to bed and decided I would call in the morning if all was not well.
Sure enough - it was dead again when I got up in the morning. I called back and they had a tech named Craig over here within a couple of hours. He found that the drain line was completely clogged, and the water had backed up in the upstairs, tripping the safety valve. It took a bit to dislodge the clog, but then a bunch of crap came flooding out. After the clog cleared, the unit kicked on and has been running solid since then. Craig did an excellent job of cleaning it all out and getting it back up and running again. Thanks for the great service!! :)

Awful experience!! The technician did not provide an estimate for replacing a fill valve in my guest bathroom. He went ahead and put one in the toilet while I was talking with a customer on the phone. He did not give me an estimate and I did not authorize that price. He charged me $145.00 for labor plus a $65.00 service fee for 10 minutes of work. Then he put owner supplied materials and no warranty on the receipt. I never gave him a fill valve!! I called the company and spoke with Debbie. She was argumentative, disrespectful and did not listen to what I had to say!! They're the worst!!

Becareful this company, they overcharge you and not handle business professionally. I had sewer emergency on 6/1/22, they came and gave me estimate $12,000. They accepted cash for $9000 but I paid similar repair $4500 year ago. It only took a little more than half day and 2 people. $9000 is way overcharged. They gave me invoice but my insurance company asking for just part of the invoice for the excavation the detection of the leak and the put back for the cement not the entire invoice. I requested it more than a month ago, my insurance company requested it through email and I called them 3 times. They still didn't generate the part invoice I need as today 8/2/22. This company is not professional handled and they will scam you if you let them.
