Our home still had the original hot water heater and it's getting to be close to 25 years old. Time for a replacement and I want to go tankless. Mrs. K. did the shopping around and called three plumbers for estimates. Superior responded, provided a written quote (not an estimate, a quote!) and also offered to do some kitchen sink repair that we needed. They were not the cheapest but they had the best reviews here and on other sites.

The technicians who arrived on time and practiced the appropriate COVID protocols with masks on the entire time. They took care of cutting out our old water heater (bye, friend!), running all the new pipes and hooking up our new tankless heater outside the house.  It took them all day and afterwards, we've got limitless hot water!

There was one problem and when we called the technician, he was immediately back to us to repair it. They had neglected to reconnect the gas pipe to our gas fireplace. A small oopsie and it was resolved relatively quickly with a sincere apology for the trouble,

The new unit looks great and it works great. I am extremely pleased and posting this five star review.

With temperatures in single digits, late Saturday,when no other plumber would respond to an emergency..Jeff Jordan was an Angel.  My 94 year old twin aunts, experienced  an exploded pipe.  Their caregiver discovered the water spraying in the side yard.  Had no idea where the cut off valve was.  He came to cut off the valve...but could not leave them without water.   He worked until after dark and fixed the pipe.   God Bless him.

Jason and his team converted a very large fountain into a nice fire pit.  The job ended up being bigger than initially anticipated but Jason and his crew worked until everyone was satisfied and he maintained his quoted price, regardless of extra hours/product the project took.  Highly recommend

Yesterday ENECO  came from Hickory to tweak my HVAC, which he did a fantastic job on.  I really didn't expect them to come out on a Saturday and figured they would wait till Monday, but I got a call back quickly and he said he could be here shortly. The young fellow was named Adam and had been with the company for 9 years. To get to my attic access we had to walk around bins and big bags of decorations from Christmas.  I apologized for the mess and said it just needed to go in the attic when I got help.
He was so kind and gracious and offered to put all that stuff in the attic for me!  And it was a lot!   Then he gave me a few tips to make extra storage space with some of the plywood boards I had stacked up there. Adam was quite the professional during all this and I thanked him.  What an asset he is to his company,  and a blessing to me, to go above and beyond!

Hot water heater wasn't working properly and they were originally out a week or so.  Something opened up and they were there in an hour.  Took care of the issue in 15 minutes and now working great.  Scott was very professional and courteous.

Jerry was from the very beginning extremely knowledgeable. We originally thought we needed to switch from our current working water heater to a tankless because of the long wait for hot water. After hearing our problem he was already brainstorming a more affordable solution. He was quick with responses and very thorough with explaining things to us. His quotes were reasonably priced. Professional written quotes were emailed to us. His work was quick and clean. Very satisfied with the over all experience. We have literally no wait for hot water now at a fraction of the price other places we're quoting us. You can trust Jerry and he takes pride in his work. We will definitely be returning to Jerry for future work.

They immediately found the problem and didn't waste any time getting it fixed.  Very friendly and professional.  I will use them next time I have a drain problem and recommend them to you!

Ritchie Plumbing is one of the best. I had a major plumbing job needed to be done, and I called Ritchie Plumbing along with a few others for quotes. John came out and was professional, explained what needed to be done, and had a reasonable quote. He was quick with responses during the whole process, extremely easy to work with, and super friendly. When I had questions, he took the time to explain the answer. John went over and above to make sure the plumbing was done right and timely. I can not recommend the team enough! If you have a plumbing job (no matter small or large), don't go with the big corporate companies, stick with a local and well reputable company like Ritchie Plumbing!

I am a rental property owner.  I received a couple quotes from local plumbers to replace a hot water heater nearing it's service life.  One highly reviewed plumber that I used before, and Eco Home Solutions.  Eco Home Solutions was far more responsive and cheaper, but the level of complete communication and professionalism made the choice easy.  
My elderly tenants made for some challenges coordinating with scheduling, but Eco Home Solutions completed the project with satisfaction and compassion working with, and around my tenants.  
I will call them when needed in the future. And I am confident to recommend them to you.

I had a very poor experience with Mike the Plumber.  Upon meeting him, he seemed friendly and knowledgeable, was willing to come out during the evening, and priced reasonably.  He came to fix a leak in a sewer pipe underneath my house that was connected to my kitchen sink.  Later that evening my kitchen sink ended up leaking and I had to call another plumber to come fix that.  I'm not sure if that was a coincidence or the result of his work from earlier that day.  However, while he was fixing the first leak, he clumsily spilled a bottle of acid he was using to clear the drains onto my brand new washer and dryer.  His wife, the business manager, claimed that they were going to see what they could do about replacing or fixing what was ruined.  Calls or texts to him or his wife either go unanswered or the response is that he will call back later that day and I would never hear anything.  I wish I had seen that review before hiring him.  In addition to all the money I spent on plumbing repairs, I had to replace my brand new washer ($750) because the acid he spilled ate holes in any clothing that was washed after I thought it was cleaned out.  Luckily the acid spilled on the dryer was only cosmetic and I did not have to purchase a new dryer too.  This 'business' is clearly unaccredited, does not have insurance, and does not take responsibility for their actions.  Do yourself a favor and check Angie's list or the Better Business Bureau before hiring an emergency plumber - do not trust the glowing Google reviews that Mike so quickly mentions.  If something goes wrong, he does not end up saving you any money.  This is the first review I have ever written, but I feel strongly that people need to know what kind of people/business they are dealing with in the event something goes amiss during a plumbing repair.

Chris Blackwell diagnosed a leak under our kitchen sink. He replaced the leaking garbage disposal. He also inspected our water tank and is going to give us a quote on replacing it so our water pressure won't fluctuate. He was very friendly and very efficient.

TLDR:  Work was good, service was quick friendly, price seems high and he said the $150 coupon on the website was included in the quoted price, 3% credit card fee is dumb.  Would suggest shopping around, wish I had.

They came same day and replaced our water heater.  They did not give price beforehand over the phone but were able to give it 30 seconds into looking at the old water heater, that was a little frustrating.  Service man was nice but the price seems steep now that I have looked around more.  FYI: $2,550 for a 40 gallon water heater replacement and the $150 coupon on the site was allegedly included in that.  Receipt did not break out charges.  What drove me to Yelp this is that when I went to pay there was a 3% credit card fee...I understand the need for that at a 7/11 but that seems ridiculous for a larger expense.

UPDATE:  I was annoyed by the 3% charge so I called the main line and asked generally if they charge anything extra to use a credit card.  She said No.  I advised that I had been charged 3% yesterday and she said Yes, that is what we charge for credit card.  When confronted on the instantaneous change she said that Well, we don't tell everyone that.   Shady. Updated rating from 2 to 1 star.

UPDATE #2:  Saw response from the business.  Don't agree with their assertion that the operator lied about the 3% charge so that a plumber could discuss payment options but I appreciate their response regardless.   Per above, service was quick and well done and the warranty is good but concerns still linger about billing practices. Updated to two stars.

Terrible experience.  Stay far away from these guys.  They did work I didn't ask them to do then billed me anyway.  When I asked about the additional charge they threatened to put a lien on the house if the bill wasn't paid within a week.

Find another plumber!!

1st Choice was recommended by my neighbor who just had her hot water tank replaced with a tankless. I had a total of 4 companies price removing my hot water tank from the attic and installing a tankless. Thomas was friendly. He explained the job, offered options, made suggestions, and came in $3000 less than 2 of my other quotes. 1st Choice was the only company that looked at our crawl space and said the tankless could be installed there. The gentlemen that did the work were friendly and considerate; and answered my last minute questions. One month after its install the hot water didn't work. 1st Choice sent out a service person within 2 hours. Turns out the breaker on the electrical outlet under my house had been triggered. The serviceman pushed the button on the outlet and it has worked ever since. No charge for the call. 1st Choice replaced the kitchen faucet. My husband could have easily done it, but he's working a lot of hours and who knows when it would have been done. Once again the serviceman was kind and courteous. At one point in our brief conversation he mentioned that he likes what he does. How nice is that.....to hear from someone doing work at your home that they enjoy what they do? We should all be so lucky. The faucet looks good and works. The serviceman answered the couple questions I had and put the sticker that came with the faucet (that I bought) on the inside of the cupboard door. That way if I ever have a problem or need to replace a part, Moen's phone number and all the numbers I need are right there. I am very happy with their work, I will not hesitate to call them with any future needs or recommend them.

Boom  we were charged a whopping $101.65 for Matt to tell us it wasn't their job!
Wow it stated the charge was for the plumbing  job how is it a fckn plumbing job when the man never actually touched anything and was here a total of 2.1 minutes????
