Best Plumbing Services in Charlotte, NC

I hate to write negative reviews but I'm still shocked that the owner I just spoke with by phone was so condescending, arrogant, and downright rude to a potential new customer.

This review is from our experience receiving an on-site quote from this company and follow up phone conversation, not any work as we will not be hiring them.

We discovered plumbing issues in our recently purchased home and called a few plumbers to come out for quotes, including Superior. The ladies who answer the phone are sweet as can be. The technician provided 3 quotes to break out the work, each of which was 2x higher than the next closest estimate I received. Immediately after they left city workers arrived to mark our lawn for gas/power lines, without our consent or acknowledgement. I called and they apologized that they had a mixup and called in the wrong address to be marked. To remedy the error and as a sign of good faith for future business I asked for our $45 consultation check to be destroyed and not cashed and I was told it would be destroyed.

A gentleman came on the phone and asked what was going on so I tried to explain but to no avail. I have zero tolerance for any business whose owner or employee raises their voice to me and speaks over me when I'm trying to voice my concern, and trying to sort out the mixup. It's a shame because the two technicians who arrived were very courteous and polite, though they pushed hard for the highest quote that another plumber said was unnecessary work at this time. (Later confirmed he was the owner.)

This single experience unfortunately lost this company our business and likely the business of our network.

With temperatures in single digits, late Saturday,when no other plumber would respond to an emergency..Jeff Jordan was an Angel.  My 94 year old twin aunts, experienced  an exploded pipe.  Their caregiver discovered the water spraying in the side yard.  Had no idea where the cut off valve was.  He came to cut off the valve...but could not leave them without water.   He worked until after dark and fixed the pipe.   God Bless him.

Jason and his team converted a very large fountain into a nice fire pit.  The job ended up being bigger than initially anticipated but Jason and his crew worked until everyone was satisfied and he maintained his quoted price, regardless of extra hours/product the project took.  Highly recommend

Jerell came out and was very professional. He was sent to us for a plumbing problem behind our dishwasher. Allison and White property management had him come out. But now they say nothing is wrong , I would very much like the report from Jerrel if possible, because these guys are giving us a lot of trouble because of this situation and nothing is getting fixed. Can you please help? Our address is 1013 12th St. NE in Hickory. He left his number with my son, but when we called it said mailbox was not set up. We could really use your help.

This company was very easy to work with. The answered the phone, if I left a message or texted they called me back within a very reasonable amount of time, came when they were supposed to, texted pertinent information, and most importantly fixed my issue in a courteous professional and prompt manner with a very reasonable price. Another local company was going to charge me over twice the amount these guys did just a to show up at my house. I will definitely upgrade Denver Plumbing to my number one plumber for the area for any issues we might have.

The most authentic family owned business. As a sales professional I meet a number of business owners. Eddie and Tawny are immensely kind and care for the community of Charlotte. I highly recommend Heyworth Plumbing for commercial projects.

Brian with ACC Plumbing was courteous and prompt. They charged me the exact amount quoted and were very respectful of my home.

Jerry was from the very beginning extremely knowledgeable. We originally thought we needed to switch from our current working water heater to a tankless because of the long wait for hot water. After hearing our problem he was already brainstorming a more affordable solution. He was quick with responses and very thorough with explaining things to us. His quotes were reasonably priced. Professional written quotes were emailed to us. His work was quick and clean. Very satisfied with the over all experience. We have literally no wait for hot water now at a fraction of the price other places we're quoting us. You can trust Jerry and he takes pride in his work. We will definitely be returning to Jerry for future work.

They immediately found the problem and didn't waste any time getting it fixed.  Very friendly and professional.  I will use them next time I have a drain problem and recommend them to you!

Ritchie Plumbing is one of the best. I had a major plumbing job needed to be done, and I called Ritchie Plumbing along with a few others for quotes. John came out and was professional, explained what needed to be done, and had a reasonable quote. He was quick with responses during the whole process, extremely easy to work with, and super friendly. When I had questions, he took the time to explain the answer. John went over and above to make sure the plumbing was done right and timely. I can not recommend the team enough! If you have a plumbing job (no matter small or large), don't go with the big corporate companies, stick with a local and well reputable company like Ritchie Plumbing!

Recently moved to North Carolina and experienced a few plumbing issues in our new rental. Signature Plumbing assisted us in resolving several unexpected issues quickly!  They are very knowledgeable, timely, and professional.  We couldn't be more happier and will definitely use them in the future when we finally purchase our own home. I am a rental property owner.  I received a couple quotes from local plumbers to replace a hot water heater nearing it's service life.  One highly reviewed plumber that I used before, and Eco Home Solutions.  Eco Home Solutions was far more responsive and cheaper, but the level of complete communication and professionalism made the choice easy.  
My elderly tenants made for some challenges coordinating with scheduling, but Eco Home Solutions completed the project with satisfaction and compassion working with, and around my tenants.  
I will call them when needed in the future. And I am confident to recommend them to you.

While I have heard Cliff's plumbing is great and recommended by everyone I asked. I wouldn't know because they were too busy to come out and looked at my backed up kitchen sink. The earliest they could send anyone was next week. I'm sure they are great if they stay that busy but that doesn't work for me when I need help as soon as possible.

Mike came on a Friday night call. Fixed (temporarily) our plumbing problem but, stated he had no reverse on his truck and proceeded to knock down 2 sections of our neighbors fence. He talked and left the neighbor his card but has never called him back of paid Jim the $250 he owes. The neighbor has left many messages with his wife and Mike to no avail and we called begging him to pay the neighbor as he said he would but no one ever called back! Do not hire this man!!!!!!!

They said they would be here at 8:30 they were saw our problem and fixed it all within 25 minutes the builder who once before put nail in our water pipe and when precision checked the leak in the ceiling another pipe had two nails in it I would give this company 5 star ratings if any one has a plumbing problem they are reasonable and being a Korean Vet I got 10percent off, thank you precision.

Price Gouging!  I am very unhappy with AAA City Plumbing's pricing for my recent plumbing issue.  I was charged $2,200 to snake, jet, and put a camera through my sewer pipe, which I believe is above the market rate for this type of service.  Furthermore, the cost AAA City Plumbing quoted me to replace the piece of broken pipe in my yard was $2,300 (additional).  I ultimately found another plumber who replaced the broken pipe it for only $1,000.  AAA City Plumbing wanted to charge me more than double that ($2,300)!  They also told me that I needed to get the repair done within a week, when the other plumber told me that I really could have waited a few months to make a decision!  It seems like they tried to make it seem like it was an emergency, so that I would pay their outrageous $2,300 price. I suspect they took advantage of me because I was a single female homeowner. I will not use them again, and I warn others to stay away. Using them was a very expensive mistake.
Update:  the owner contacted me after I wrote this review and refunded me $600, bringing the cost down to $1,600. The owner was apologetic for his employee overcharging me, so I do give him credit for that.  However, please note that had I not posted this negative review, I would not have gotten that refund.  (Before deciding to write this review, I had already called AAA City Plumbing and asked to speak to the owner, but they would only let me speak to a manager, who said that the original price I was charged was the correct price, and they would not do anything to adjust the price.)

Remove toilet, disconnect hot and cold water from vanity, so we can move the vanity. 125 for the visit....and $1,150 to do the work, which took another plumber 20 minutes to do. Rip off of the year....NEVER use these people for anything

People be aware of this company. Your lack of professionalism is mind blowing. I can and I will comment about a friends experience. I needed plumbing work done and I researched plumbing companies and came across your company. I read your reviews and knowing someone who had experience with 1st Choice Plumbing, made my decision that much easier. I could have been a potential customer, but my money goes to a business who values their customers. My comment is absolutely relevant, Jonna and I look out for people who need plumbing services. I have been out to the house to see the water heater and checked it out myself. A leaking water heater with no hot water is in perfect working condition? You don't have to be a plumber to see it's not properly working. You wrote up a false report that the water heater was in proper working order and admitted to her that you never checked to ensure the water ran hot or anything. When you provide bad service and then lie about it, it reflects poorly on you and your small business. Put yourself in the customers shoes and I'm absolutely positive you would be angry yourself. It does not matter if you came out for her or the previous owner. You checked the water heater and said it was properly working when it's not. You provided the service and there is documentation your company was the one who looked at it. Again, I have told many homeowner friends not to use you for their plumbing needs. People be aware of 1st Choice Plumbing. They are a scam. Read their reviews on Yelp. Be careful who you have come out to your house.

As for your comment back and still believing you're not wrong, this shows your character and what kind of business you run. This situation does involve me even though you stated it does not. Staying with her and having to take cold showers is not something I call enjoyable. Seeing her being stressed out over something you should have noticed does involve me. Not even offering to inspect the water heater for the second time shows that you knew you didn't do the job properly. People save your money and pay someone who takes pride in what they do and doesn't take advantage of you. Clearly when a free service is offered, corners are cut because they are not being paid. A reliable business doesn't say a water heater is in proper working condition without even checking to see if it's working properly. People, spend the extra time in finding a dependable and reliable plumbing company who actually knows what they're talking about.

I honestly thought  damn $75.00 just to walk through the front door  is highway robbery
I mean seriously less than  a four minute drive $75.00  

Boom  we were charged a whopping $101.65 for Matt to tell us it wasn't their job!
Wow it stated the charge was for the plumbing  job how is it a fckn plumbing job when the man never actually touched anything and was here a total of 2.1 minutes????

They stole $95.23 for bad advice walked out didn't do their job either

And and entire life time loss of respect  and dignity
