Sometimes your washing machine breaks. And when that happens, it basically screws whatever plans you had for at least the next few days. Especially when your house is so old that the cold water hose was basically rusted to your faucet and you were scared to keep screwing around with it because you didn't want to break the whole thing.

Insert Five Star Electrical and Plumbing! They were quick to respond, they came with all the tools they needed the first time and they were able to get the hose off, so we could get the new one installed. Bonus? They didn't make me feel like a lunatic because I couldn't get a hose unscrewed. Other bonus? They actually left money in my wallet.

I had under cabinet lights installed at my house. They came out and did great work. They were very nice and efficient. The guy that came out seemed very professional and even put little booties on before he came in. They were a wonderful company to work with.

Shawn is totally professional, fast and communicative.  Shawn was able to help us with everything we asked for with a quick turnaround time and no hassle or stress on our part!  It was very refreshing to have someone come out exactly when they said they would, do everything they said they'd do, and keep us informed the whole time.  Affordable too!

Bobby from  LiveWire Electrical came out to help us after me calling him on a Saturday. He was able to work us in quickly. We help out an elderly and it was for her. She had a blown outlet which caused the Window AC unit to not work during the hot August summer. Bobby was prompt, courteous, professional, and his work was exceptional. We appreciate him so much and will only be calling him for all of our needs in the future! Thank you again from the bottom our our hearts!!!

Jessie was able to come out on pretty short notice, and did good work for a fair price. He was efficient, communicated clearly about costs, and was a nice guy. We will definitely use him in the future!

Bill is the best! We really lucked out finding Bill. We just bought an older house and it had A LOT of issues that came up in the inspection and that we found as we moved in... bare wires in the wall, 3-way switches that weren't running correctly, a garage that no power was running to. The electrician our realtor set us up with originally said we'd need to replace our entire subpanel and main control panel ($$$) for the house and that the garage wouldn't work until we did... Bill got it working within 20 minutes of being at the house on his initial visit!

Bill is so thorough and likely saved us from our house burning down. We mentioned in passing we may want a gas stove at some point so he took a look at our oven plug to see if it would be able to support that and found a crumbling black plug in the wall. He also found our water heater wire had the wrong gauge wire and was melting, he put junction boxes on exposed wiring in the crawlspace, replaced breakers in our panels, crawled up in our tiny attic and installed fan boxes for upstairs bedrooms, and so much more! Seriously we can't recommend him enough - cleans up after himself, is punctual, polite, and creative when it comes to old houses that may not always be able to accommodate original plans. The wireless switches and hub are awesome for that. Customers for life!

I've used Chad multiple times for projects around my house and cannot recommend him highly enough.  He is responsive, shows up on time every time, does great quality work and his pricing is fair.  I've had him complete a variety of projects to installing hardware on my walls, electrical work (new lights, outlets), assembled/installed furniture and a variety of other projects around the house.  He is a true professional and you won't regret leveraging him for your projects!

I have called on Dove several times for both my home, daughter's home, and business.  They are just the best.

Had appointment for 2pm to 3pm on 9/7/17 no call no show.  Called the bussines at 3pm receptionist apologized and said she would have the tech call me.  When 4:15pm rolled around I called back and just told the company not to come. Other then me calling them I never heard from the tech or the company.

Great customer service!  Reasonable prices and very responsive.   Easy to work with.   Found the problem right away and stuck to his price.  No scams or trying to sell you extra services.  I will use him for all my electrical needs.   Like Evan said ...if there's a wire and it's broke, he could probably fix it!

Ryan Hanlon is the Man-lon, FORREAL! Only contractor in the history of my lifetime to show up early, clean up after himself everywhere he went, and take the time to explain my options and the work he was doing.

Priced medianly between the other electricians I called and met with (Roby Electric being the most expensive), Ryan quoted fair prices and offered to provide all the materials at cost OR send me a shopping list that I could take to Home Depot/Lowes. Being a DIY girl as much as possible, I took the list and made my merry way over to Home Depot on Wendover, where Ira the Electrician Guy told me that this guy knew what he was doing once he saw the complete list Ryan had emailed me.

Arriving not a second past 9:30, Ryan took time to go over all the projects I wanted done in the home overall, and then started work on installing 4 outdoor outlets for my home. Along the way, there were some issues with my older home and the set up of the wiring, but he took the time to not only communicate what he was doing but also to educate me more on my home and the wiring of it (who knew I had a fuse box that was a fire hazard? go me!).

Anyway, 6 hours later I had everything I'd requested and a few more things done by Ryan and I was already making plans for him to put in recessed kitchen lighting and change out a fan and chandelier. I can't say enough how impressed I was with him - I'm telling everyone I know! Definitely a contractor I'm going to keep on file for years to come (I know I'm rambling, but he was really that great!).

Roman is such a nice guy! He came exactly when he said on a Saturday evening. The business is called Asap and he lives by it. My wife asked him if I needed you at 2:00am would you come ? He said if it was an emergency, sure.  I called him about 7:30pm, he was here and done by 8:45!! Small job, but it needed an electrician. Quick clean professional work! Use this man!

This company is top notch.  We live in a very large house and needed six bathroom fans replaced. They were very thorough and had great communication throughout the project. We will definitely be calling them again for our electrical needs. Lately it's been difficult to find high quality contract and home maintenance specialists, and I can honestly say these people are the BEST. Do not hesitate to give them a call--you will be extremely happy with their attention to detail and level of expertise!

After having another electrician fail to show up twice, I was fortunate to find Christopher on Yelp. I wanted an outlet installed in what seemed like a tricky spot (an outdoor patio), but Chris's crew had no trouble making it happen. The two guys were friendly, courteous and very professional. Will definitely go to this company first for future electrical services.

Rip off!!  Charged $29 to come give an estimate that was ridiculously high.  Wanted $550 in LABOR to replace two floodlights on back of house.  Not a new installation, just replace existing fixtures.  No running wire, just two screws and three wire nuts per fixture.  What a joke!!!!  I guess the jokes on me for agreeing to pay to get an estimate...

My door shifted due to house settlement making my door unable to open or close properly. I messaged him and he replied very quickly, was able to come next day to give a quote. He diagnosed the problem and explained all the options carefully for me. He was able to complete the job same day for a reasonable price. Door swings better than before. He made sure to leave his work tidy as I had it before. Also very friendly. Will use him again for future repairs.

Don't do business with this company. Once a defective light was installed for $225. They refused to take it down for less than $185. Puts my cost at over $1000 for the light and installation. Do not use this company under any circumstances. If I could give 0 stars I would.  No sir the light was not working well when your technicians were there, and when I needed it taken down you refused to do anything but charge me an additional $185 to have it removed. No offer from you other than full price. No worries though I tripped the breakers and took it down by myself in 5-10 minutes. It was really hard. I can understand the $185 price tag when an unskilled person such as myself can do it in 5-10 minutes. Thank you so much and I will assure no one I know and do business will ever use your service. Your a real gem. Good job.
