Huge shout out to Adam Skiscim owner of Winn's Plumbing for his above and beyond extraordinary professional service! We had a hot water heater go down yesterday, called Adam up late in the day and boom he was on our issue. Installed a brand new unit without a hitch after sun down. You just can't find service and timing like that anymore without being gouged in the wallet from an unknown big box service tech. His pricing is right on fair, but his attention to detail, caring about your personal situation, and the quality of work from a licensed professional is what sets him above the herd.

Both my bathrooms clogged overnight, and the emergency plumber I called came out and quoted me nearly $800 to dig up my septic tank lid and clear the main drain line. I said no thanks. Contacted Lowery Brothers for a quote the next morning, and got a response in less than 10 minutes saying they'd be able to be there that evening. They contacted me later in the day confirming they would be there when they said, and they arrived right on schedule (and wearing masks, which was appreciated). They ended up pulling off one toilet and snaking the drain, clearing the clog, then reseating the toilet, which had a leak at the base. Their price was less than half of the other quote, and they were professional, friendly, and fast. I am going to be calling these guys for all plumbing services I'll need in the future, and will be recommending them as well.

This company was a no-show TWICE for scheduled appointments....not even a courtesy call to explain why.  I called and complained on business voicemail....no one even bothered to call me back.  I called again and office lady assured me plumber would call....never happened.  Steer clear, folks.

Called Terry's for a second opinion on some work that was quoted to me that I felt was high and wasn't sure if it was really needed as I am by no means a plumber. Had some backup in sewer that competitor said beyond snaking out the drain, I would need to dig up part of driveway and replace pipe. We were talking $3000. I allowed the guy to snake out the drain which took less than a minute and paid him but held off on the major repair which he said was needed without using a camera to investigate. Terry came out himself and he was a great guy. Told me that the work that the other guy said needed done was bogus. Terry ran his camera 45' out through our pipe to find nothing wrong with my pipe. The crack in the pipe right above the trap was most common among many homes and may only require a quick snake job each year at most. He said even if he had to replace that pipe it would only cost me about $600 instead of the $3000 that was quoted by the other guy. Terry came out and did this inspection FREE of charge in the rain. I offered to pay him but he insisted no charge. I will give my business in the future to Terry no doubt. He is honest and I know I can trust him after this visit.

In the middle of the Coronavirus Pandemic, while social distancing and staying at home, our well water system simply quit.

I called Thompson Plumbing at three in the afternoon and explained our situation to Jessica. She told me she would see what could be done immediately and promised a call back.  In no time she called back and said Russ was on his way and would be at our home in fifteen minutes. Russ arrived, determined the pump had failed and called his teammate Wes to come to assist. Wes arrived shortly and together the two pulled our well pump from 375 feet down!

Not only was the diagnosis correct but these professionals had the correct replacement pump and replacement wire ON THE TRUCK!

The new pump was installed, the well sanitized and tested, the old pump and wire put away and they were GONE by 6PM.

What an experience, what a team and what performance! It's rare to find people that say what they do and do what they say. Thompson Plumbing and Pump Service are GREAT.

Beside all this, their price was fair and reasonable. From now on I won't call anyone else!

Sewage drain clogged up! They came out and fixed the problem at a very reasonable price! Very professional and courteous. Would recommend this company to anyone!

I was in a bind.  2 days till Christmas and family coming In from out of town to stay several days. And my sewer system started acting up.  I searched online for plumbers that service our area.  I went down the list and everyone was either booked or not coming out because it was too close to the holiday and they didn't want to get into something that could take them awhile to fix (because on the phone I had to tell them that I had no idea what the problem was).  When I reached Superior Plumbing the lady that answered was so nice and was sympathetic to my issue.   She said she would try to get someone out there today to look at it but couldn't guarantee that they would be able to fix it today.   That sounded reasonable to me.  About 2 hours later the owner (Ray) showed up and within two hours had my problem fixed.   I will WITHOUT A DOUBT use these guys again for ANY plumbing issue I may encounter. I wish there were more than 5 stars.  I'd give them double that.

Just moved to Winston-Salem from South Florida and needed help with mysterious sewer smell in our condo and toilet that sometimes didn't flush well, drains a little clogged, the usual stuff. We called a well known area plumber who charged us over $200 to tell us that they couldn't do anything about the smell, and wanted to replace our toilet, at a cost of around $750, so about $500 installation cost. Brandon and Anthony at Transou spent a great deal of time educating us about the potential origins of bad sewer smells, and we discovered an empty condo below us probably has a dry trap so the person tending the vacant condo for the owner went in and ran the water everywhere which helped quite a bit. Brandon and Anthony made sure we understood exactly what was wrong and why, and what our options would be. Their prices were a fraction of what the much large scale local plumbing company charge. We felt welcomed to the community and we appreciated that as much as their expertise, their fair prices and their total commitment to customer care and satisfaction.

I contacted AAA Plumbing because my AC company found a rusted out drain line under my house and it was causing my crawl space to stay flooded. The AC company took pictures and showed me the leak. This company came to my home and informed me that they found it and it would be $650 to repair. I told them to fix it. The plumber spent 30 to 45 minutes under the house and was done. I gladly paid the $650 because I thought the repair was done! I went to work and returned home 6 hours later only to find my crawlspace flooded again. The same problem! I contacted AAA, in which I was informed that they were closed and the work done 6 hours ago had nothing to do with my flooding. They sent the after hours technician around 5:30 pm and he refused to even look under the house and repair the problem. His first comments to me were We want to go home to our families and I want to get paid. The worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life! The after hours guy was super rude and obnoxious! He got in his truck and left, leaving my crawlspace flooded and water continuing to flow from the Real Leak. Some guy contacted me claiming to be the owner, apologizing for his technicians behavior. He claimed he would have a truck at my home, the first thing in the morning. The same guy from the original REPAIR went under the home and said it would be another $7500 to fix the Original Leak. I contacted their office for financial information, but my wife said to get a second quote, in which I did!  The second company comes and goes straight to the leak and repairs it. If you can avoid it, PLEASE DO NOT UTILIZE THIS COMPANY! It is a MONEY PIT looking to take your hard earned cash! Full Spectrum Plumbing Services (803) 366-1200 did the second repair! They were courteous, on time and reasonably priced! they actually fixed what they were called for! AAA Plumbing is the worst company in Rock Hill! Their customer service is horrific and pray you don't get the guy that Wants to get paid and Wants to go home to his family! I got taken to the bank for $650 by AAA Plumbing! Thomas B.

After scheduling an appt last week that was cancelled same day, I tried again. Today the technicians showed up for a few electrical issues and when they couldn't quick fix them (they tried for about 5 mins) , they said their manager needed them to install a generator for someone else so they had to leave. When I asked when they could come back he said they were really busy and it could be weeks and suggested I call another company. And then he wanted $111 for the gas/trip fee.  WHAT?!?!

I asked to be placed BACK on their schedule and if/when they show back up and fix the problems, I'll happily update this review (and pay them the one time $111 gas/trip fee).

I called Best Rate because they advertise 24/7 service.  I called at 9:30 PM and was told no one could come out until sometime the next day.  When I said that I thought they offered 24/7 service the man said he was one man down and I don't want to know what the quote would be for them to come out that night.  My emergency was not at all important to him, in fact he seemed as if he thought it was humorous.  Some choice words come to mind about this man that I won't put on the internet

$875.00 for a 2 hour job unclogging a drain pipe. Really? If a  person promotes themselves as a Christian that is a moral and fair minded person, as Randy Scribner did to me, they are not. Learn from my expensive mistake and move on to another service provider. Buyer beware. Dave Cope, Stanley, NC
