HISTORY

Established in 1995.
Zoom Drain & Sewer Service is the continuation of a family plumbing business started by our grandfather in 1948. We started Zoom 20 years ago with our dad and brother out of a spare bedroom and with a little borrowed money. Back then we rode together to service calls in a single truck, with at least one of us sitting on a bucket between the front seats. Those were some tough times, but we had great customers and we worked hard to build a thriving shop. Today we still operate the day-to-day business operations with a team of employees who have been with us for years--helping us attain our goals of professionalism and excellence. We're best known for fast response times and our ability to provide focused solutions for drain & sewer problems. From sinks, toilets, and tubs,to main lines and sewers, our team of professionals is ready to provide you with fast, expert service.

ABOUT BUSINESS OWNER

Jim Criniti is the President of Zoom Drain and one of the Founders of the Zoom Drain Franchise. As a military veteran, he knows that great operational systems are the hallmarks of success. With help from great mentors and business coaches, he used systems to grow his business from one used white truck into a multi-shop multi-million dollar drain and sewer cleaning company. He then helped turn that business model into a growing franchise system that's coast to coast, currently with 16 locations across the U.S.

I felt that the technician was more interested in upselling instead of listening and diagnosing problem. We had a clog/blockage in drainage piping under house that was causing backup of septic into house (we believe due to construction materials getting into drain from remodel we had just had done in bathroom). We were wanting likes snakes/scoped to make sure clog was resolved and no further issues. Technician tried to convince us that we needed to repipe drainage pipe for whole house which was not wanted or needed. We had lived in house three plus years and no issues prior to bathroom remodel.

Becareful this company, they overcharge you and not handle business professionally. I had sewer emergency on 6/1/22, they came and gave me estimate $12,000. They accepted cash for $9000 but I paid similar repair $4500 year ago. It only took a little more than half day and 2 people. $9000 is way overcharged. They gave me invoice but my insurance company asking for just part of the invoice for the excavation the detection of the leak and the put back for the cement not the entire invoice. I requested it more than a month ago, my insurance company requested it through email and I called them 3 times. They still didn't generate the part invoice I need as today 8/2/22. This company is not professional handled and they will scam you if you let them.

I was having issues and called this place to come out to inspect. This was on Wednesday and the guy told me someone would be here on Thursday. Great! Waited all day on Thursday, no one showed. I called them back and they said I was on the schedule for Friday (even though I received my text). So, whatever, Friday it is. Now after waiting all day again, no one showed up and I received another text to see we'll see you tomorrow (meaning Saturday). These people have no clue of what they are doing. Go somewhere else!
