I called Rich on a Tuesday afternoon for a leaking pipe in my basement.  Rich and his apprentice, Reed, came out on Wednesday morning bright and early and diagnosed and fixed the problem in under an hour, all for a very reasonable price.  I will continue to use Hoffman plumbing for any future plumbing needs.

Gene helped me out when I was in need of emergency plumbing help. Not only was he able to take of the problem but walked me through the different options so that I could make an informed decision. Response time was fast and the service was very reasonably priced. I know who I'll be calling from here on out.

Richard Haviland is a rare find. I needed a plumber to do some work in Brooklyn, but I did not have the time or resources to go to Brooklyn to find one. So, of course, I went to the web, Craigslist in particular, wading through a lot of ads and promo-posts that looked suspect at best and downright deceitful at worst.

I was beginning to get worried when something about Richard's post caught my eye. I can't even tell you what it was to this day; it wasn't flashy or bombastic - maybe that's what it was, who knows. But something made me call him - and so far he has turned out to be the best tradesman I have had going into that building on a regular basis.

He investigates the problem, gets in touch with me to review the details, we settle on a cost - always reasonable - and a course of action, and he gets the job done, letting me know the final bill.  Work's done, tenants are happy and all is right with the world. He is a man of his word.

And did I mention that I have yet to meet him face to face? That's right - we've been working together now for almost a year, and he and I have been nothing more than voices on the phone to each other with a little bit of cellphone technology mixed in.

Sure, I have a guy in the building who works as a go-between for the residents and for followups. But Richard and I have been operating on a virtual handshake for almost a year now, and more than once he has shown himself to be not only a very good plumber, but a man with integrity and a compassionate heart.

I am very fortunate to have come across his post in Craigslist. I know exactly What led me to him!  And I just want to make that known to anyone else who needs some plumbing work done in Brooklyn and would like to deal with a real decent human being.  Thanks a lot, Richard!

We had an old kitchen faucet that was leaking and rusted in place. James came within a day, methodically cut it out to avoid scratching our countertops, and installed a new one. He was amazing to work with and explained everything he was doing. I highly recommend.

This was my first time using Flo-rite and will definitely be my go to for all plumbing issues. I had an ongoing leak for months now with no resolve. Matt, the owner responded to my inquiry right away and came out the next day to assess and provide a quote. He was able to diagnose the issue and completed the job in a timely manner (we needed multiple pipes to be replaced). Michelle kept me up to date regarding ETA via text message, which was great. I have had issues with other companies in the past who will schedule a time and then show up hours later. Flo-rite is professional, timely and organized. Highly recommended for all your plumbing needs.

I dropped my diamond earring down the sink and needed a fast service call to retrieve it. The plumber came within a few hours, was friendly and professional and was able to get my earring back!

I have used CityWide for years for my sewer line cleaning and have always been happy. I was glad they were able to help out in this situation as well.

I would leave zero stars if I could. Stay away from this company. They came here flooded the entire place and ran away. I lost my security system, ADT fell off line, and they were very very rude. Again, don't use this company. And then when I called customer service they don't even answer the call.

I've had nothing but good experiences over the years. Joe is professional and knowledgeable and most of all a very nice guy, so to me that's worth the price which is pretty ridiculously expensive. He's done everything from replacing our well pump to making a simple toilet fix while he was there. I would not hesitate to call Aversa plumbing, you won't be disappointed.

Stanley is the greatest.  We use him for regular plumbing and heating maintenance on our house.  Always a good experience.

I wish he would expand into Electrical work, Lawn Care, Auto Repair, Income Tax Returns, open a restaurant, barber shop, etc.  He's got such a sweet personality and is so competent I wish I had more than just plumbing/heating work to give him.

Kellem was responsive, reliable, timely and did a great job. He sent me pictures very yep of the way since I was not in town. Would definitely use again and recommend!

I called Johnny and he came out ASAP. He did a great job and even helped me clean up the mess and with the price!! Hopefully I don't have to call him again but if I do Johnny will be the one I call. Thanks Johnny!

Lovely to work with. He returns calls within the day and gives his cell for emergencies. He clearly knows what he is doing and charges fairly. I have used him several times and had reason to regret it recently when I called another local company who did bad work for a ridiculous price.

If I could give them no stars I would. I live in a 7-unit coop building. Once of the apartments had a clog in their kitchen. I reached out to McManus since they were local. They said they would arrive in 2-days and rectify the issue and send me the diagnostics via email. They came on a Friday, just inspected then left. They made another appointment to return on a Tuesday with the tenant. By this point, I still had no report. Tuesday came and they didn't show up. On Thursday they return, State they are pulling out lards of grease from the sink and they still won't unclog the sink. Now saying it's a building wide issue. Mind you no one else in the building has any sort of backup/clog. They stated they would send me 3 different proposal options with prices. It's been almost a week and nothing. I'm not too sure what type of business they are running, but my encounter with them has been nothing but unprofessional.

I first met Paul the owner at a conference on heating systems. After discussing the issues I had,  he came up with master venting the steam pipes. I have to say the heat comes up 25% faster with the new venting in place. I have since used him to replace gas piping with is not a job for most plumbers. They got the permits, approvals and sign offs in record time. I would recommend them to any property management company.

It was a simple job to replace a leaking water connection but the repair came on time, did the work, was polite and professional and answered any questions I had, tidied up and left. Satisfied!

I am surprised seeing some negative reviews here. We just had our boiler and water heater, replaced by village plumbing, and couldn't be happier with their service. Tim, the owner, is very responsive and concerned about making his customers happy. His workers were very attentive and responsive as well. We have been doing business with them for over 15 years and never was disappointed. Through the years, they always responded very quickly to emergency situations, which I am very grateful for.
