Wanda is the best ! JMW saved me from a major DEP violation/fine with plumbing that was not up to code in my building. They did this work quickly, expertly, and at a VERY fair price. Others had quoted much more. Wanda is very easy to communicate with and explained clearly what the problem was and how to handle it. I will be calling JMW for all my plumbing needs in the future.

I have to give a shout out to our awesome plumber Mark Trimble. No he didn't tell me to write any of this but I see a lot of questions in here asking for a great plumber. I can't recommend him enough if you have a job that you need done right the first time, need to fix a job that was botched by another company (like one that rhymes with Sold Pedal), or any challenging or creative fix. Mark and his son are the guys to save the day.
They treat your house like their own. In our case, our sump pump failed and the back up too. Plus the original company who installed the connector to the townhouse drainage system did a terrible job (before we moved in) and water was splashing all back on our bricks causing damage. Mark is not the cheapest plumber but is is absolutely the best around. He can do anything, do it right, do it to code, and make sure you won't run into problems in the future by corner cutting. He knows what he is doing and stands behind his work. I think they must have come by five times for our job to quote, help us keep the basement from flooding, lent us a little manual pump, installation, and checking in to make sure it worked properly. That kind of service is rare these days.

I had a leaky kitchen sink faucet. I reached out to several plumbers. Mario replied very quickly. I explained the problem. He provided a price quote and was very flexible to schedule a service appointment. He arrived on time. He kept his work area very neat and completed the project in the same day. I would definitely recommend Mario for your plumbing needs!!

I needed a broken. backed-up sewer line replaced in the Bronx.
Fortunately, a contact referred me to Mr. O'Grady, who met with me within the day; explained the work needed; obtained the necessary NYC permits; and started the repair work within a day.
The sewer repair work was carried out in an extremely efficient and professional manner, inspected and passed by the NYC Sewer Inspector, and is now fully functional again. Thank you Mr. O'Grady and crew.

These guys are the nicest and most knowledgeable in all of NYC! I had an emergency plumbing situation in my bathroom shower and within minutes, despite this time being one of their busiest seasons, two Algozini guys showed up and quickly resolved my issue. They were very friendly and worked quickly, efficiently and were extremely tidy. Thanks so much, Algozini Plumbing!

We had a late no heat call. Harris had us up and running quickly! I would absolutely recommend! Strato was our tech and seemed very knowledgable and friendly!

They were open at 9:00 pm on a Saturday night. They were here quickly and were efficient in doing the job. They were good people and upfront and clear about the process. They helped me fix a serious issue that would have rendered my bathroom useless. They were good, helpful and out in less than 15 minutes. Would recommend to anyone who needs something quick and efficient.

Since finding a good plumber that is honest and reliable, I feel it is important to recommend and support a local plumber that fits this description.
Scott Lowe has serviced our home and has arrived on time and works fast. Sometimes when you call you do get a voice mail but the calls are usually returned that day.
What I appreciate is that their business has been in the area for decades (I believe Scott is the grandson of the founder) and he is very honest, and will not do work that is not needed immediately. He even told me to wait on one repair and save the money for now. Many plumbers would not do that (at least ones I worked with in the past).
I would highly recommend Franklin Lowe and Sons, good service and honest work.

Branden is the best! Always helpful and patient even when he is super busy, which he always is. Great place. Enjoy doing business with them.

SafeHaven is absolutely incredible. They are officially my plumbers for life. Tom Lorenzo Laurie Ann and Joe were so knowledgeable and incredible to work with. They are all so personable and make the experience feel like working with family members. We did an oil to gas conversion which is a daunting process and SafeHaven streamlined everything for us including all permits and all the other complicated things that go along with the conversion. Tom went above and beyond to help us with massive issues we had with the gas company and I couldn't thank him enough. This isn't a normal company, they really care and make you feel completely supported throughout everything. They show up when they say they will and the communication is impeccable. I cannot recommend Safehaven enough and I am looking forward to all future business with them. Thank you again!!!

I was out of town when my tenant reported no hot water. I searched Yelp and other sources for a reliable, reasonably priced plumber and found Quality Pro Services. They proved to be as excellent as their reviews suggested. A few issues came up. There always seem to be complexities with a job like this. But we talked it through to very satisfying results, and ultimately, the cost of the job was very close to the original estimate. I will call upon this company the next time I need a plumber.

Absolutely a delight to have Peter come out and help us clean up our old house's drain. Never would have thought I'd say that either! Great chat, great service - he cleaned up after himself perfectly and even said hello to the dogs. Absolutely will be calling again for future plumbing.

Pelham came recommended, and the first house call went fine (two radiator vents were installed, and $400+ was the charge); the technician explained things well and patiently. Two days later one of the radiators stopped working. (I knew from asking around that on occasion a vent just doesn't work and needs replacing). They sent someone the day after I called (all good). But the new person refused to try a new vent and got unpleasant (he had several bogus reasons why the radiator was fine and it was the fault of my apartment, e.g. drafts from the window). When I called the main office, they were unpleasant as well. Thankfully I was able to get a new vent put in by someone else, and all was fine. The two stars are for the first technician.

They fixed my problem (simple clogged drain--was a non-emergency and they came several days after I called, which was fine) and everyone was very nice and professional. But after I got the invoice I called around and they were by far the most expensive. I paid it because, in all fairness, price was not discussed beforehand. Unfortunately, on that basis, I wouldn't use them again, including on the brownstone we're gutting.

To make a long story short, Just don't do it. 3 days after measuring my bathroom I'm still waiting for the estimates of what my project will cost after Kevin said he would email me the estimate and after i followed up with a call. That just a red flag that tells me how this work is going to be, me chasing them down to finish it. No thanks.
433 Edgecombe Ave New York, NY 10031
The customer service is horrible. Incredibly overpriced ($275 to snake a toilet bowl) for a service that did not fix the problem. The plumber claimed to have snaked 10 feet and later admitted it was at least 2 feet less than that. Toilet broke again 2 days later. Plumber was supposed to come back on a Friday, but had a family emergency. Didn't bother calling to let me know that he would not be showing up. Showed up the next morning 45 minutes late. Blamed me for flushing things down the toilet despite the fact that I purchased the toilet paper he recommended and have flushed minimal amounts. Wanted to charge another $175 to rebuild the toilet ($20 for parts). Incredibly unprofessional and refused to spend more than 30 seconds looking at the toilet and diagnosing the actual problem. Will NEVER call this place again.

This company is working by my apartment building and as they were loading pipes on to there cart they left it unattended and it dented my vehicle. There supervisor was standing there with them they just walked away and pretended like it didn't happen luckily for me another company was working there and told me what happened and now they don't take my calls and refuse to pay for the damages they did to my vehicle.
