Ive used these guys for more than one project and EVERY TIME they are reliable, quick, clean, friendly and very thorough. They are amazing and they charge a fair price as well.

Fixed my circuit breaker. The electric baseboard heaters in the kitchen and bathroom (connected to the same thermostat) kept tripping the circuit breaker. Rich replaced the burned-out wire (which was also loose, which he told me, can make a wire overheat) and replaced it with a tighter-fitting wire. Rich is courteous, reliable, and did a good job!

I had a problem with a fuse that kept blowing.  I found Mickle on Yelp, called him in the afternoon, and he scheduled to come over that same evening when convenient for me.  He had no problem with me rescheduling for a bit later at the last minute.  When he arrived he figured out the cause of the problem and performed the work necessary to fix it.  Even though it took longer than he expected, and kept him late on a weekend night, he did not alter his original price quote.  Thanks very much.

Ralph is my hero!!!

I am a single gal on the UWS and needed emergency electrician services (on a holiday weekend!) and Ralph was knowledgeable, professional, polite and downright pleasant.  

I was obviously concerned about letting a man into my apartment late at night, but I was 100% at ease with Ralph.  He identified the problem quickly and explained everything to me.  Upon request he spoke to my landlord and made sure that everyone understood what was going on.

Only constructive feedback I have for the company is for their point person on the phone to be more communicative about setting up the appointment and the expected arrival time.

I had no power in my bedroom or office, and thanks to the work of other shoddy electricians I also had no power in my kitchen and bathroom. All hope seemed lost and I was cooking in 95° weather and no power anywhere going to my AC. These guys showed up after 1 hour of calling them on a Saturday afternoon, correctly identified which fuse was blown, and restored the partial power to my kitchen and bathroom. He also gave me insight into why the other rooms didn't have power - a former tenant had installed a ceiling light and fan and wired it all wrong. Overall a great experience, would use again!

Will definitely use JEM lighting for future work.  Fast communication and great service. John helped me fix one of my sconces that went out and even helped me fix the sconce's switch which I thought would never work again (original 1970s sconce).

Master electrician Mike Sparky Hitchingham is one of a rare breed these days.  He loves what he does and takes pride in his work in the manner of 'old world' craftsmen.  First, Mike tried to 'talk me through' an electrical solution on the phone that would have made his service call unnecessary.  Wow!  When that phone coaching proved too difficult, he promptly came up and solved an ongoing electrical problem that we've had for years.  If you like to be hands on, Sparky is your man.  He will put you to work (that's optional!) and teach you what he's doing so you can be an electrician's apprentice!  He will curse out your previous electrician and tell you what a lousy job they did and why.  He will correct the problem and predict what is likely to fail in the future so it can be prevented.  Oh, and did I mention this was on a Sunday??  So, yeah, I have become a Sparky Hitchingham fan.  But don't make him so busy that I can't get him the next time I need him!

Danny is knowledgeable, pleasant, reliable and fair. He quoted me a fair price came when he promised and did the work neatly and correctly.  He did outdoor plugs, indoor smart plugs and outdoor lights. I would use him in the future without reservation.

They helped me figure out the problem I was trying to solve quickly, and it saved me unnecessary costs. I appreciated their quick responsiveness and competence.

Spent less than 20 mins to troubleshoot to say call NationalGrid to activate the PLP meter and proceeded to charge $260.  Will not use or recommend to anybody.  RIP OFF.

We bought a 2 family home in Brooklyn and Cel Electric installed new electrical service for the entire house. Very happy with the service.. will definitely recommend and use them for all my future needs. Will rate them 10 out of 10.

If I could give 10 stars to this company, I would! I'm so impressed with the promptness, professionalism, expertise and work ethics of these amazing Men. Today they beautifully fixed everything, with a very reasonable price and no damage. They have also beautifully redone the sloppy work of the previous electrician, who has caused this electrical problem in my place. Yoni and Baron are the true Masters of their profession.
I had a major electrical issue in my apartment, so I called the first two highly rated electrical companies. One of them has sent me someone who had no idea what he was doing. He spent 1.5 hrs trying to figure out what the issue was, but didn't figure it out, and didn't fix anything.
I tried a second highly rated by Yelp company, and they were only available to come in in a week or so. In addition, in their text messages they didn't seem very enthusiastic on taking this job, and kept sending me expensive quotes, including that I would still have to pay the $220 service fee, regardless. That turned me off, so I decided to try a third company, which happen to be Danik Electrical. I called them at 8pm, trying to find out when they would be available to come and fix the issue. Yoni answered the phone, and immediately asked me if I was home and if they can come over in the next 20 min to see what the problem was. He assured me that he won't charge me anything, he just wanted to see what the issue was. Wow, what a service, with such a good start and great attitude! Yoni and Baron were at my place in 20 min, and in 30 min they figured out the problem. They came back the next day with all their tools and equipment, and fixed everything. I couldn't believe that everything was back working perfectly, I thought I was stuck with it forever. I  was so happy, I wanted to kiss them both.
They should be the Number One company on Yelp and in the entire NYC! They are so respectful, humble, humane, disciplined, experienced, caring, good-hearted, and I can go on and on and on! Thank you so much, Yoni and Baron! God Bless!

I needed a couple of small things done in my apartment -- hang a ceiling fan and replace a faulty light switch and found Ilya here on Yelp. I got in touch and was able to send photos of the work I needed via text and had a quote not long after. He and his assistant showed up right on time early Saturday morning and had everything finished in less than an hour. On top of that, he seems like a cheerful, friendly guy. I'm definitely calling again when the need arises in the future.

I asked a handyman to install my ceiling fans, but once he opened up the fixtures he realized it was beyond his capacity and that an electrician was needed. A friend recommended Don. I called him and he came quickly for a free estimate, then got me into his busy schedule a couple days later. He arrived when he said he'd arrive and charged what he said he'd charge. I will be using him in the future, for sure.

I contacted Zabiway through Yelp to install new plumbing under the new kitchen sink.  Sergey gave me the estimate after seeing pictures that I sent him.  He did flawless job.  He is a good communicator, very reliable, professional and fast.  He is highly skilled and takes pride in his work.  Highly recommended to anyone who needs help.

Lights in house were flickering, completely shutting off and on. Called in the morning and received a helpful tech within a few hours. Was able to change a switch and figured out what was causing the flickering. Nothing on our end and more of ConEdison, but they helped get in contact with ConEdison to make sure a service ticket was in place and on their way. Thanks again!

Fantastic electricians! I texted Roman during a holiday weekend after blowing out my bathroom lights and he and his team was able to come by on Monday to fix the issue. They were super quick, tidy, and fixed my problem. He also flagged another issue he saw, and workaround on how to fix it. Would definitely recommend!
