Our shower head has been giving us headaches for the past two years. I've had several plumbers (recommended by my building) come in and repair it. Both times, they charged me an exorbitant fee, only to have it break again 6-9 months later. Of course, that was always past the usual 30-day warrantee time frame so I was screwed.

This last time, I called Edison based on the Yelp recommendations here. I couldn't have been happier. Edison replied promptly, asked for photos of the showerhead, and sent two guys (Eric + Jason) over that afternoon to fix it. They weren't able to finish on time so they had to come back a few days later to finish the job.

The whole experience was fantastic. Their rate was reasonable. The service was amazing. And the work was impeccable. What more could you ask for in a NYC plumber?

I wholeheartedly recommend them and would definitely use them again.

I had trouble with my furnace, Sam came out and found the problem quickly, the cost of the repair and service call was very well priced, I would definitely use him again and recomend him

I've used Mike several times now for smaller and larger jobs and I would hesitate to have anyone else work on my apartment.

First of all, the estimates never changed regardless of the fact that some jobs were spaced out months apart from the time given to when the work was actually performed (my scheduling issues not his). Even though some were more work than anticipated the price stayed the same and extra/unanticipated parts were provided for no additional cost and weren't even pointed out to me, I could tell just by looking.

In one instance, there was a big issue with my building's pipes that was originally thought to be a clog in my apartment. Mike immediately diagnosed the real issue and when he didn't have the equipment on hand to fix the problem, it being an unanticipated issue, he recommended an emergency service and left without charge. Maybe some people would take that for granted but I appreciated his time, efforts and ultimate success in correctly identifying the problem and not charging me for a call. Most licensed plumbers have charged me regardless of if the problem was solved or not.

Lastly the quality of the work really speaks for itself. The work is never shoddy and inspires confidence that you've found the right guy for the job. I'm surprised there aren't more reviews up for him because he's always busy but maybe that's due to him working a lot of commercial jobs too. Anyway, I definitely recommend Mike for your home or apartment as well as building work because he's proven himself on small and large jobs.

Tim was wonderful. Super responsive and very quick with helping me unclog my drain! I requested the quote and had a visit scheduled within 24 hours. He was super professional and a great attitude, plus he explained everything he was doing so it was super clear. Definitely going to call him again for other improvements and rides around the house!

Very happy with my experience.  I received a quick and clear estimate for the work, with no ambiguity into when service was available.  When Rob arrived, he got down to work, fixed the problem, and made sure everything was clean and organized on his way out.  Simple, friendly service and I was appreciative of how easy it all was.  I will definitely use them again if I have needs in the future.

Ended up not getting service done, but this review is for their professionalism and knowledge. I recently needed assistance with my shower valve/cartridge and no plumbing/hardware stores were helpful. When I reached out to adov, they did not immediately sell me on services but tried to guide me to my own solution. When he arrived, he had a good idea of where the issues were and after a few trips to the hardware store, the leak was fixed. Joshua is the man. On Christmas Eve, our toilet was  leaking and we had no clue how to stop it. He answered my call and took the time to walk me through how to shut it off to curb the problem. Lifesaver. He didn't have to but he did. Hard to find that level of service and professionalism. Couldn't recommend him more.

Had an issue where water was overflowing from the toilet and tub, called JP late night, came by within an hour and fixed my issues.

My toilet started leaking suddenly from the pipe valve. I have one of those older tankless toilets. Sergey asked for a photo and stayed true to his quote. He was courteous, professional, responsive and efficient. The next day he came back when there was leaking from the toilet handle and fixed it immediately. He arrived when he said he would and even texted to let me know he was on his way. It is tough to find this kind of professionalism and work ethic in nyc and for that he gets a perfect rating from me.

Used for 2 projects, one for leaky sink and another for leaky sink and clogged drain.   He is very respectable person who gets the job done right and fast.  I would call again for any future plumbing issue.

Had a Friday night sink emergency that turned out to be more than just a clog - there were rotted pipes as well. 24 Hour were responsive,  knowledgeable and didn't wuit until the job was done right. Thry actually left the pipes in a better configuration than they were before. My new go-to plumber, for sure!

Would definitely recommend them! They were not only responsive, but quick to come and do the work. I had them do some wall patchwork, bidet installation, light installation, and moving of a light box in the wall. I don't think there's anything they can't handle! And reasonably priced as well. This should be your first call if you need ANYTHING done!

Didn't use. Quoted $425 labor to change 1 filter and to remove/clean/reinstall the adjacent spin down. Another 5-star plumbing pro on Yelp  charges $175 for the exact same service.

Four Seasons was by far the most expensive out of 5 quotes I received.

A 15-minute job shouldn't cost so much and in a downed economy it's sad to see tradesmen price gouging like this. Customers need to shop around -  a half hour of research saved me $250.

I needed emergency repair for a faucet in a tenants' apartment. This company caught my eye because it listed 24hour/7 day service. I called John and he was very professional over the phone. He came and repaired the faucet quickly and efficiently. John even came over the next day to repair a leaking kitchen sink pipe at my own house! I would highly recommend and use him for all my plumbing and heating services. Thanks again John!
