I highly recommend this company. Very efficient work at a reasonable price. They are competent at their job, and good at explaining the work they are doing to someone who does not know all the technical terminology. They are friendly guys I would trust in my house. Glad we found them and will call them for future plumbing jobs.

I have worked with Boris Mechanical for plumbing a few times and have been extremely happy pleased. They are very friendly, reasonably priced and send a plumber in a quick timely manner which is always a plus. The Boris Mechanical team answered all of my questions and provided prompt and courteous fix that. This is on all ends of their business. From requesting service, to billing services, their business operations are super, efficient and easy to work with. I highly recommend  Boris Mechanical.

They were prompt, flexible/adaptable in helping solve our tub drain problem, and kept their rates very reasonable and honest.  Another plumber had quoted us a price 2X for the same work thinking he could get us to pay that much due to our neighborhood.  Can recommend enthusiastically.

As many others have said - Brett is great! Came to the house last night to see our problem and was back today with the right parts to fix it. Explains the problems and the fix and is willing to show you how to do it. And the best part - great price! Great service, great result and great price! Brett is definitely the one for us to call on any and all future plumbing issues!

Great & very reliable!! Did not try to upsell on anything and were very honest to deal with. They were quick to fix an issue with one of our pipes.  Definitely know their stuff and would highly recommend.

Great team of people, couldn't ask for better. Picked up the phone when called and came over within the hour!

They unclogged my sink in 30 mins when it took Rotor-Rooter 2 hours with no real progress. They saved me a lot of time $$ because if i followed what RR suggested I've would have been asking people to tear down dry walls in the basement to get to the pipes.

Great plumbing service. Phone call was returned and appointment was giving. Plumber showed up on time, knew what to check and fixed my leak from the second floor shower. Friendly and clean. Price was fair and guaranteed work. Saves me from the stress of thinking about it. Will call them for al, plumbing issues.

UPDATE: after seeing the below review, the owner called me and tried to bully me into taking it down. Fun fact #1: mold concerns were never brought up until the owner called me trying to rationalize why his team wouldn't do the work. If there were mold concerns, then they should have communicated that there were mold concerns -- instead they said they had asbestos and lead concerns (in a building that's less than 10 years old). Sounds like he was fishing for an excuse. Fun fact #2: Bullying people is the behavior of a coward.

I stand by my original review. 100%

Issue: I have a leak originating somewhere under my tub/shower that drips onto the downstairs neighbor's bathroom ceiling anytime we run a bath. It was fixed by another plumber a month ago, but now the issue is back and worse than ever. I called ParkSet to diagnose/fix the issue based on the reviews I saw here.

They get one star because they actually showed up (and because I can't go lower than one star).

They lose 4 stars because:
1) when they originally showed up [a week ago] the plumber said he hadn't been told that he would need to open up the ceiling in the downstairs neighbor's apartment, and so he didn't have the tools necessary. Instead of going to get those tools [which he clearly needs to do his job], he insisted I reschedule. I did reschedule and waited another week.
2) when the rescheduled appointment happened today, a new set of guys showed up. My downstairs neighbor said they seemed pissed that the last guys didn't open up the ceiling and they said the first crew just left it for him to do. My neighbor says (and i quote) It seemed like he just didn't want to do the work. Then the new plumber got on the phone with me and said he doesn't have the tools necessary to open the ceiling. Sounds suspicious and lazy and super unprofessional. I asked him to go get the tools needed and come back because i'm not rescheduling a third time. Do these people not communicate with each other!? THEN I asked the plumber to have his supervisor call me.
3) A guy named Ronny called (his supervisor? I dunno) and said flat out that he refuses to have his guys open the ceiling because there's a baby in the apartment. I asked for more clarity on why -- dust? noise? He said because of possible lead and asbestos issues and he refuses to be liable for that. I explained that this isn't an old building; in fact, the entire complex was built less than 10 years ago. He was quiet for a second, admitted that there would not be lead or asbestos issues, but STILL refused to open the ceiling to diagnose the problem. What the actual f*ck.
4) as a possible alternative, the plumbers said they could remove the side panel of the tub and try to see if they can see any issues. I agreed. Then they called back AGAIN saying they can't remove the side panel because there's a rusty screw. Are you kidding me? I'm no expert, but even I know there are ways to remove rusty screws. But I guess that was also too much work for them because they just left without doing a damn thing.

How are these people even in business?! It's mind boggling to me.

There plumber nyc fixed my toilet fast when I decided to use this company. He also showed up fast and he did not charge me much at all. He was very nice and very professional. If you need a plumber you found the best.

They were responsive and reliable, and were available to arrive on the same day. I needed to repair my kitchen sink pipe and Tony took care of it in just a couple of hours. Great service! Will keep them in mind for future needs.

This company is excellent and friendly. Their prices are great and they even cleanup after completing the job.

Great service.. called in the morning they were here in the afternoon and they were on time, friendly and courteous. Fixed the issue I problem. Definitely recommend for plumbing needs in the Hudson County area.

Wow! I can't say enough good things! Today the nicest sweet guys showed up to help us with our ceiling leaking. Vojtk was so patient and honestly such a pleasure to work with. Even with all the obstacles that came with working in the apartment And dealing with the neighbors and access to other floors! I would recommend these plumbers to all my family and friends! Trust worthy sweet great guys!

I cant even give this place one star and after I explain you will see.On Saturday 12/03/16, I called for a clogged toilet.My tenants were calling and I could not take care of it, as I was working.I did a search for plumbers on Staten Island.Called the number on yelp which is a (non 718) area code.I asked questions, was I shopping for a price, of course that's my rite as a customer.I call the number back which is a (347) area code which called me.So in other words this company was called twice by mistake.The maniac calling me back starts cursing, telling I am a cheap bum.And that he hopes my sewer line breaks.No jerk off just shopping and getting a price.He tells me how because I woke him up at 12pm, he was charged $17.00, really.That he will call me 17 times and do harassing calls in the morning.Thats not very smart or professional.He goes on a profanity tirade and tells me to expect calls at 3am.Kept the harassing texts as proof of this individual, that he was going to F me up, which he texted me.Yeah ok,I want to do business with this company or anyone who hires a person like this.He wouldn't give his name.The harassing texts finally stopped with him being pissed for me asking questions.As I explained if this kept up, we can go to the Pct and file a police report.Your easy to identify and get arrested.All this drama just because your shopping around for a plumber.If you don't like customers shopping for prices and trusting the first person they speak, that tough.Its your business get use to it.And with luck I found a person much cheaper, then what he was telling me.Have many friends who work for the city(PD,FDNY, etc) and would never, ever recommend this company.
